Just got the snippets of the rumours kicking around over the 2003 league victory over the Fifers, what have the unclean been dragging up exactly?

Lego

1.) 08 Aug 2017 23:59:46
Their usual conspiracy theories, c'mon bhampot, rayman or bhoywonder what did you write in them emails? Did chris sutton help you write them😂😉

2.) 09 Aug 2017 05:00:22
Apparently its something to do with dunfermline's relegation but the tinfoil hat wearing obsessed with rangers gang have assumed it MUST be something to do with title stripping us for cheating. This time by match fixing.

3.) 09 Aug 2017 07:33:52
Yip and as i told them on there site it was not rangers playing that day it was barcelona playing wearing masks and disguised as rangers players you no need to laugh it is always everyone else it is never the pathe-tic

4.) 09 Aug 2017 10:07:41
Match fixing 😂😂😂 when will these idiots just let it go. So what are we being accused of? Paying Alan Thomson to make an ar** of his penalty and ballooning it out of rugby park?

5.) 09 Aug 2017 10:11:00
The investigation centres around Dunfermlines finances from that time . It has nothing to do with Rangers

6.) 09 Aug 2017 10:15:30
Bears things are bubbling up nicely, all your club's dirty washing is now a matter of public record.

7.) 09 Aug 2017 10:51:39
The only dirty things getting hung out timalloy is you lot😁

8.) 09 Aug 2017 11:55:55
Cant remember our club ever putting out a circular having to remind fans who are attending games of their personal hygiene lol

9.) 09 Aug 2017 12:53:34
The tax case, administration and even liquidation are nothing compared to what's about to be revealed. i'm laughing at the complete ignorance here, its not going to be fun for you guys. Watch this space

10.) 09 Aug 2017 13:28:20
Remember being at Ibrox that day and we lost a goal to make it 3-1 and we were tottering. all over the place. Then the Pars boy shot from 30 yards out and it was flying into top corner when Klos somehow managed to fly across his line and practically clawed ball out from under the bar. finest save i ever saw. If it had went in we would have been lucky to win game at all. never mind 6-1. So the pars scored. Klos made that save from them. Sutton accused them of not trying. I watched celtic game on VCR and over 90 mins, Killie never had a shot on goal. Killie completely rolled over

11.) 09 Aug 2017 13:56:35
Celtic fans can't even behave themselves while in the grounds hospitality section. Fan was glassed or slashed in a 'premium section of the ground'. Best fans in the world, while the green bridage stayed away last night. Probably away solving political unrest on the Gaza Strip. 🤔

12.) 09 Aug 2017 16:57:01
Bampot, away and worry about your own team. On here giving it laldy, when your own swept Just "a few" things under the carpet.

Bam is definitely the correct term for you

13.) 09 Aug 2017 17:12:17
The pars scored to make it 1-1 not 3-1 Chinabairn

14.) 09 Aug 2017 17:30:53
Good one james2016 😂😂

15.) 09 Aug 2017 17:37:21
If you remember back to 2003 at rugby park it was an ex tim keeper playing for killy and he gave away two pens to them. They won 4-0 away from home and we won 6-1 at home and somehow we were cheating.

Any speculation on the second signing Pedro is after. Naismith or McGregor or another?

Lego

1.) 30 Jul 2017 14:23:48
Ta vernier is not in the squad today. Injured? or maybe he's the shock exit they were talking about last week?

2.) 30 Jul 2017 14:33:20
After the signing of Walker I think that may be it in terms of permanent signings.
I do however think that with 4 spots available for loans THIS will be the market we will be involved in before Window closes.
I don't know if our new DOF has been with us long enough to have had an effect on who we may be going in for.
I just hope that we can get somebody that could have the same impact as PR had at the Methadome.
There are some huge (Young) talent out there that due to the Club they are with are stuck in development football.
Hopefully we can do business with an Man. Utd or a Chelsea etc

3.) 30 Jul 2017 16:16:23
Pedro said maximum two loans so with Dalcio in there's room for one more.

05 May 2017 20:52:05
These rumours of a whisky guru and associated consortium, do they have legs or consigned to bin.

Lego

1.) 05 May 2017 23:23:40
@lego - wishful thinking by fans who would rather spend our way out of trouble than build solid foundations. Short memories as well.

2.) 06 May 2017 04:35:57
why not do both? build foundations spend money wisely?

we are years behind and need to start somewhere.

because our league is so slow we need celtic and aberdeen to do 1/ 2 decent in europe and get the points system up, starting every year at this round is going to drain us

3.) 06 May 2017 05:26:07
sign 2 or 3 of the rite type of players spending 4/ 5 million, you could sell for 15/ 20+ million in next couple seasons. this is the model many of the top clubs around europes 2nd/ 3rd tier leagues have been using for years, ie Porto, Salzburg, PSV, Anderlecht, Partizan etc its the easiest way to generate large income provided you spend wisely. I'm not saying go wild, only spend what budget has been agreed and any money made from sales of players, but spend the majority on 2/ 3 key assets then sell, rinse and repeat until competitive/ stable and able to hold onto quality players.

4.) 06 May 2017 14:34:09
I know its only paper talk but i must admit i like the idea of these big Ghananian / Argie brutes in our side. the idea of seeing guys like Holt, Windass and Dodoo attempting to rough up Broony and Co next season gives me the fear.

5.) 06 May 2017 17:53:16
We need someone with the strategic acumen to take us forward and I really don't see any of the current Board being able to do that. In that respect I would like to think that there is someone out there with an interest and a future plan.

McInnes is yesterday's news. no one will convince me otherwise that he doesn't have a grasp of what a winning mentality is and is naive tactically and indeed a bottle-merchant. My opinion end of. My point is should Murty be given a transfer window and if we manage to scrape £2M together who are the priority buys?

Lego

1.) 09 Dec 2017 19:04:48
Moult is a bargain or should be top priority that's if miller gets dropped

2.) 09 Dec 2017 20:10:41
was thinking the same, grantes his losses have been against the poorest sides, but in the big games he’s done really well and it’s not his team, we all let caixinha make the team his own does murty deserve that chance? i’m not sure what do you think?

3.) 10 Dec 2017 01:40:06
Derek McInnes is tactically naive? It is awright to have an opinion but what do u know about tactics? What badges have u got? How would u know what is tactically aware and what is not? Have an opinion but don't spout pish!

09 Dec 2017 10:26:50
Think we should stop any discussions regarding McInnes. It's been shown he is a bottle merchant and wouldn't be able to live with the pressure being a manager in Glasgow. Let him stick with a backwater team with his lack of ambition and limited success. We need winners and the board need to review their approach for a successor on Jan - Potter and Reid for me once their Euro run ends.

Lego

1.) 09 Dec 2017 12:02:32
Ahh Lego. u have me at a disadvantage here. You seem to know all the facts? Derek McInnes turns down the job of his dreams and you "know" he bottled it. Firstly, Stewart Milne will have told him that he was 4th choice, it took Rangers six weeks to make a move and he's loved at Aberdeen, Rangers don't really want him. Then there is his backroom staff. then it could be his budget. but you stick with he bottled it if that makes you happy. As for your choice of managers now. good luck with that.

2.) 09 Dec 2017 12:49:06
dutch-glad you were privy to milne and mciness conversation, not half cleared that up for me, wish you could tell me who else other than mciness wwas approached, no guesses now

3.) 09 Dec 2017 13:03:09
so Dutch lego gets it tight for ‘seeming to know all the facts’’ then you come out with ‘Milne will have told DM he was 4th choice’

unless you are Milne or DM this is rank speculation on your part so either back this up with facts or wind yer neck in

‘Rangers didn’t want him’ despite both clubs confirming an official approach was made and declined. Pure colin nish you are talking pal - you are baseless hypocrite to criticise someone for claiming to know the facts then spouting utter contradictory drivel

You know as much as the next man as far as this saga is concerned absl - he haw

4.) 09 Dec 2017 13:49:50
Look the reason why he turned us down we probably will never know but the way our board has handled the affair is shocking they were sure he was on his way you just have to read the statements prior Murty saying good bye ETC but something changed his mind but to cap it all our club releases a statement that was nothing short of classless it really was shocking and now once the heat has dropped a bit I'd like to see our board apologise to Mcinnes and Aberdeen and sack that clown Trainer and any board member who was involved in the release I've supported this team for nearly forty years season ticket holder and shareholder through good time s and bad but never have I seen us in such a state we seem to take one step forward and ten back we really are a mess if we could get the right guy in spend a bit of cash we can make second ours but we need to show respect we need to get away from this type of statement it opens the club to be pocked fun at I hope for three points today a decent display and move on

5.) 09 Dec 2017 14:34:07
Lego, maybe so but the official statement released by the club on the matter is classless.

6.) 09 Dec 2017 14:40:32
Gents. you are correct, I don't know what was said between Milne and Derek McInnes. that's ma point. Nobody knows. Yet we have people saying he bottled it. What do u think Milne said to him? . u r first choice Derek? Rangers are a great club going places? You would be mad to turn it down? .

7.) 09 Dec 2017 14:38:07
What did he bottle? He decided to stay after Aberdeen refused discussions. His choice to do so. We now move forward and take our time getting it right. If he has doubts then not right for us. I want to see a winner in the dugout who wants to manage The Mighty Gers and help with our climb back to the top. Not sure who but think I could get us 2nd.

8.) 09 Dec 2017 18:43:26
McInnes is yesterday’s news no one will persuade me otherwise that tactically he is naive and a bottle-merchant!
Anyway should Murty be given a transfer window? If so if we had say £2 M to spend with deadwood leaving who should they be?

02 Dec 2017 15:25:54
Change of discussion as it's getting boring how much to take Moult and Bowman from Motherwell in Jan?

Lego

1.) 02 Dec 2017 15:34:49
Bowman. Nae thanks pal, he's only decent with his elbows

2.) 02 Dec 2017 15:49:55
No interest in Bowman but Moult is imperative. Ideal Jan window for me: sign Moult on pre contract then pay what it takes to get him immediately £750k? Get Herrera on first flight back to Mexico (originally had Pena on same flight but 5in 10 from midfield has a whiff of cult hero) . Sign up Morgan in Jan. End Dalcio loan. Send Rossiter on loan to try prove fitness elsewhere. McBurnie would walk here from Swansea, get him on loan. Respectfully tell Miller his playing days are over, offer coach role or move on. Push the boat out to convince McArthur, Hutton, and McGregor (all out of contract in the summer) to take pay cuts to come back up the road. Send Windass, Hodson, and Alnwick back down the road to league 1. Bring in McLean if we can get Krancjar off the wage bill.

Keep Believing

3.) 02 Dec 2017 16:36:39
like it big marv

def agree on moult - with morelos off form miller struggling and herrera looking bang average we desp need a cntr fwd

i wldnt quite get rid of windass just yet i still think there’s a player in there but yes nikko rossiter hodson dalcio are a drain on wages i fear pena is too gosls aside his touch and movement are poor

I wldnt take shagger or hutton back but mcarthur if we could afford him wld do us a turn

still think we’ve to see the best of dorrans he needs to play further fwd for us to get best out of him he comes alive final
1/ 3 can pick a pass and finnish - not suited to picking up ball off cntr half

4.) 02 Dec 2017 17:05:14
Fair enough Trev, I agree on Dorrans and the jury is still out on Pena and Windass. Still feel Shagger and Hutton are better than what we have even if they are a bit long in the tooth. Would really like to see young Morgan on the LW but hearing Rodgers talk about him did conjure up the image of a dog urinating against a lamppost!

20 Nov 2017 19:17:02
Patrick Vieria new manager?

Lego

1.) 20 Nov 2017 19:27:34
Where did that come from?
Never saw his name anywhere

2.) 20 Nov 2017 19:32:20
Where'd that come from? Or is it just who you'd like to see in the job? Imo we could do a lot worse.

3.) 20 Nov 2017 21:52:44
Think Nigel Pearson would be a good shout for boss did the ground work at Leicester has bags of managerial experience doesn't suffer fools gladly and would not cost much in compo for 2nd div Belgium club

4.) 21 Nov 2017 14:44:14
time to hit the manager search on the head bring in big eck and wee barry, ano a lot of fans are against bringing in eck but 7 trophies won the last time, it makes sense will not cost the earth could weed out the dross and use the revenue in Jan. to bring in a right back move Tav forward as he is the only one capable of beating a man get moult, mclean&walker. win win.

09 Nov 2017 18:04:34
What happened to the "I have it on good authority by my imagined sorry not-to-be-revealed source that Derek McI will be paraded in front of the world as new manager of the Rangers on Thursday"
Aye Right! 😘🙈.

Lego

1.) 09 Nov 2017 20:53:01
Good point Lego, . However announcing in Aberdeen when Scotland are playing there would be a bit rich surely.
Maybe tomorrow or once international break starts seems more likely

I think it will be one of the following;
Gio VB
Alex Neil
N Warnock
Gary Monk
McIntyre
along with McInnes
Hopefully one of the top 3

Maybe unlikely but what are the thoughts of Gio taking over as his “bookie” odds have soared to second fav behind McI

Not in denial just being realistic. I would love a bigger name but they would more than likely require compo and/ or big budget which as far as I know we don’t have atm
Who are you suggesting then?

Moyes to take the upcoming West Ham job. Murty has done well so far but How would he react under pressure losing with 20 mins remaining? We need a more experienced tactical astute coach like DM or SM

Just out of interest as Pedro said today no more strikers, and assuming Walker will be signed before the deadline, if money ( within a reasonable budget ) was made available for 1 more player (excluding loans) who would you sign and what position? Just askin. 🤔

This is a team being run not by the manager but by a toxic player namely Miller. There are no tactics, the team play the way he feels comfortable with, why no change to formations that don’t work? Alves mystery back injury looks more like Miller and Alves have had a fallout and Alves will be off in Jan if not fixed. The board and especially KIng are not up to the job and need to be transparent about the future. No wonder McInnes does want the job

Murty for the manager position my a&se. Came up against a side with tactics and was shown up. No wonder the players love him, timid man manager and tactician. Bruno not first team choice whit? Hodson the very best we can do? Get a decision board and appoint a manager with some balls and know how. Bilic, Gio, Sherwood. GET A DECISION on the manager NOW or this club will become a nobody for the foreseeable future!

Good post @WeeBear. Looking at what the majority would like and what the board apparently expect, would the option of Bilic as head coach on a season rolling contract with Murty as No2 or at least part of senior coaching staff, not be the most feasible. again if Bilic was in agreement?
