Goalkeeper last night made couple of saves but his positioning for corners was awful. He flapped before the Killie goal then flapped at the goal. If he stayed on his line he would have saved it. Then the pass to a Killie player near the end. Time up soon for Tav in my opinion and Barasic has the heart of a mouse. Morelos looked a lot better and I think is is better than Colak who if not scoring does nothing. Armstrong was at it all game but I was impressed for a while. Looked like a typical Scottish winger. Rangers have to keep out the early goals and match the opening 20 min high tempo teams play against us.

Mclaughlin is just a very poor keeper.
McGregor is still the best keeper at the club and by a considerable distance, but there's the problem. This situation should never have got to this stage, and although McGregor is still the best at the club, he shouldn't have been given a new contract. A suitable replacement should have been signed. I'm sure John said that a keeper was lined up, but after McGregor decided to sign another contract, that interest was binned. That was the wrong decision.

I thought Morelos was ok. Bad first half but got better. Sands should, again I'll say, never be near the team. Subs were wrong.
Should have won although I think they had a good penalty claim. Against them you have to weather the initial barrage. Do that and you come back into the game because they can't keep it up. The key to victory is not to concede but we did. The rest of the SPL cave into them and can't get back into games because it's at least 2 nil by half time. Fitness is the way to beat them. Tavs attempt after Morelos's mistake was a disgrace. Meads had him on toast but after energy levels dropped Tav handled him better. Still we have improved.

If we get beat today then I would go the rest of the season with what we have. Give the Devines etc more game time. I know a possible treble for them is a possibility but it's a chance we must take.
I would rather do better business in summer with real not imaginary targets identified. If players are leaving then so be it. We really have to get winners in. I'm as frustrated as everyone else over transfers. They don't waste time in signing player. Two from World Cup possibly 3.Us! Names banded about, random targets is what we get. Whatever happens I think any deals will be pre contracts. Unless they cut deal to come early. We've a large squad already when players come back and we'll need to see how they fit in.

I actually think there's a case for Devine and Lowey to start every game if we don't win today. The league is over already in my eyes because the board never fired Gio after the Liverpool game. But if Rangers win today and only a win because a draw is no good either our chances go from 0% to 10% of winning the league. Again this is an opinion others won't like or agree on but it's my opinion.

Let's just give up then folks, we are also a strong team, they don't like it when they are put under pressure, so I sincerely hope that is MB's plan for today, in 60 years following Rangers, I've never once in an Old Firm game given up before a ball is kicked.
