Has any1 got anymore info on ex barca youngster gai assulin training with the gers this week?

He was an oustanding talent as a kid at Barcelona but has lost his way. Definetly worth a punt, could turn into multi million pound player if he rediscovers his form and lives up to potential. Injury prone though.

Yeh davie he's a free agent, defo think its worth a short term contract if he proves himself in training, like janesaddiction says he could make us millions in a few years. Although I've never seen him play being a barca youth product he's the kind of player we all want to see playing in our team

He is still on the books of a spanish team apparently but is in talks with them to let him go on a free the lad was supposed to be the next big thing at Barcelona but unfortunately didn't make the breakthrough there and has since been with a number of other teams including man city hopefully he starts to produce some of the ability that got him the rave reviews as a young lad and it adds some more talent to our ranks.

One of the eds posted on the liverpool site that Rangers have been enquiring about taking a few of their players on loan, mentioned Yesil(st) and Ryan Kent(am/wing)

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, but Kent looks unlikely. Yesil is possible, he has struggled with injury and, because of that, form. He needs a loan and a fresh start.}

Gordon Greer just realesed from Brighton. i know he's getin on a bit but he's just had a cracking season with a club where he was captain and he's still involved in the Scotland team. I think he could be the experienced no nonsense centre half we're looking for!

Just saw that laffertys loan deal to sion has fell through, now i know a lot of gers fans like to hold a grudge but i'd take him back on a loan to the end of the season. Big and mobile which is ideal for what we need up top and he'll defo perform with the euros round the corner. I know this post will get a lot of dislikes but let's try move on from the past lads.

I would him as a player! Put to the side as he's a pure nugget and acts like a wean! But he could just give us something different up top, powerful, fast, knows where the goal is, but, big but he's not what MW and DW would be looking for! They look for adding value on and off, he can't do that off the pitch, check out his interview with NI on there last group game. Pure n utter solid!

I was led to believe that its a 6 month loan deal as his contract is up in the summer, if this is the case then it makes sense to me. Boy can prove his fitness and his ability and then we can sign him up in the summer.
