What happened with the Neil McCann as assistant rumour? Is he out the running?

1.) 23 Mar 2017 15:12:44
he was never in the running realistically

2.) 23 Mar 2017 15:54:00
Probably wasn't ever in the running.

3.) 23 Mar 2017 16:23:48
Lovenkrands in talks to be assistant

4.) 23 Mar 2017 16:51:27
It's only between 3 candidates now, ie. barry ferguson, bomber brown and peter lovenkrands! Still can't see past baz! I think he's an absolute stick on, to get the rangers no. 3 job!

5.) 23 Mar 2017 19:40:21
I hope ferguson gets the job as well. I've read on here people saying he was rubbish at clyde. He got them to the play offs one season and a play off final last season i believe. It didn't work out this season for clyde but i would say that he had a decent amount of success at broadwood.

Also, although its not the be all and end all as far as recruitment is concerned, i believe it is not a bad thing that ferguson is a rangers man. I hope you get the job barry ferguson. I enjoyed watching him play and i believe he can help our new manager.

6.) 23 Mar 2017 19:53:55
I hope you're right supercoop, i think Barry is tailor made for this job.

7.) 23 Mar 2017 23:34:33
Regarding ped the ted's "local coach" think ray Wilkins would be an ideal candidate. exceptional football player, very experienced coach had great spell playing for us so knows club well and has many connections in England .

8.) 24 Mar 2017 11:46:14
Wouldn't mind barry or lovenkrands as no 3. Both adored by the support, both love the club, they both know the league and and other clubs strengths (lovenkrands is occasionally a pundit and I believe still lives in scotland) both young as well so could relate to the playing squad and good be key in the dressing room.

9.) 24 Mar 2017 11:51:39
Every time an ex player speaks to the press somebody on here wants him to Ibrox, unbelievable

10.) 24 Mar 2017 17:07:11
BF, PL, NMCC, RW. Will do for me. ayour reading Cuillin72 lol.

11.) 24 Mar 2017 17:20:52
fans haven't made that rumour up it was the press but i can't see lovenkrands getting the job but i would however be happy with an ex-ranger becoming no. 3 for one reason he will get the team inspired to play at a magnificent club like ours and that will be specifically what they are hired for not to do actual coaching but more to help out with the man management

Hello, This is my first post, can anyone tell me who the trialist for Rangers against Dumbarton was? (number 9?)

1.) 13 Jul 2015 13:49:26
Iv seen this talked about on a few forums. Nobody seems to know, someone said it was the young lad off Man u but others disputed it.

2.) 13 Jul 2015 14:39:21
I think it was Thompson, ex Manchester United academy.

3.) 13 Jul 2015 15:16:30
Was Jordan thompson

4.) 13 Jul 2015 15:40:08
It didn't look like jordan thompson to me, The boy looked a great player though, chased everything and linked up well.

5.) 13 Jul 2015 17:28:51
was that the one who scored?

if so the name mentioned was Scott Roberts.

6.) 13 Jul 2015 18:46:45
The player was not Jordan Thompson.

Thompson played the day before against Spurs for 60 minutes (30 at left back and 30 at central midfield). He then headed home to Belfast at night for the 12th of July celebrations.

No idea who the trialist was as there was no mention of a name anywhere.

7.) 14 Jul 2015 16:38:01
Thompson signed for us today did not play in u20s game the trial its looked a very tidy player

Arnaud Djoum is a player we could be doing with. Don't think it would take much to tempt him away from hearts. Get a bit of physicality back into the team, good feet and scores a few goals, including headers! Need to take more advantage of our set pieces.

1.) 11 Apr 2017 10:47:22
Are you talking about signing him for Celtic? A bit confused, your posts read as a Rangers fan and your profile as a celtic fan 😕?

2.) 11 Apr 2017 10:56:21
Just noticed this! Someone's changed my profile!

3.) 11 Apr 2017 11:04:39
Think that's it sorted

4.) 11 Apr 2017 21:22:02
It's not I'm afraid

31 Dec 2016 15:42:40
To be honest I'm quite proud of our performance today, there was times in the game we played really well, a few mishaps and a few players who need the bullet but we are going in the right direction. I'm pleased with warburtons work. Let him add new faces in January then the summer and I believe we'll be fighting for 1st next season, if you think winning the league this season was realistic yer out yer gums!

1.) 31 Dec 2016 16:00:27
I would agree with your comment Negri.

The team looks good now and then, we need consistent play and we need to find our teeth.

Hopefully we can sign a couple of solid players who are fit and able to start right away.

2.) 31 Dec 2016 16:26:27
We need to really start scoring more goals when we're on top in games. the first half prior to them scoring they looked rattled but we couldn't go for the jugular. compare that to the 2nd half when they were on top and it was wave after wave of attacks.

30 Nov 2016 20:18:50
Forresters attitude is all wrong, he stoats about the park making silly mistakes, he's needing to spit that chewing gum out, get his hands out his sleeves and concentrate, it's no surprise he plays better when coming into the team.

1.) 30 Nov 2016 20:38:01
Another poor first half. Once again our defence is very poor in fact the whole team are poor. Is this the attractive football that Warburton wants to show the fans and send us home happy?

07 Nov 2016 18:11:37
I believe warburton has what it takes, but he really needs to stop treating this like the business' he's used to working for, he needs to understand that at a football club, the fans are an important part of the business and should be more to do with us, if I hear him saying 'that's all I'm going to say on the matter' at an interview one more time I might punch my mother.

1.) 08 Nov 2016 12:46:02
If u look at the players not one is giving a 100% which leads to one thing, he has lost the dressing room. none of the players can play or want to play his formation.

07 Aug 2016 22:14:44
I think we missed a trick with Scott wooton who has left Leeds and signed for mk dons, this is the type of defender we need. Think it looks more like a loan deal now when the epl squads are announced.

Come on Gosman! He got the ohalloran one right, surely that allows him to spout tripe from his 'sources' everyday since!

I guess you haven't a clue what michael o'niell did at shamrock rovers hence the reason he got the N. I job.

I think the point big cliff is making is that ross Wilson has made a name for himself at Southampton from making signings from Celtic, his scouting assignments don't seem to go very far

Cee, I hate to disagree, didn't see much of the Aberdeen game, but against killie, he spent half the game running away from the ball, the boy was terrified, hopefully he gets over it and settles in but to say he went for every challenge isn't correct.

What were you expecting this season southsideger? I was quite pleased with the way we set up today think warburtons tactics were well suited to the game, short of a few players but we are definitely improving.
