Looks like waghorn is off 2 Ipswich bid excepted. now get walker signed this week!

Neil coulter

1.) 07 Aug 2017 00:05:02
if waggy goes we need another striker

morelos and herrera ain't scored yet, pena ain't played yet millers 37 he can't go on forever so we need goals

doesn't look like pedro will give hardie a go so we must bring in another no9

signing walker too wld be nice

2.) 07 Aug 2017 00:14:28
Now we go and get Naismith and walker and we are ready to challenge.

3.) 07 Aug 2017 00:33:02
I know it's early days but Morelos and herrera don't look up to it!

4.) 07 Aug 2017 09:06:41
We need May, Naismith, Walker and McLean. they should have been in before Morales, Herrera and Pena. these players area luxury we could take or leave. They won't grind u out results in the hunt for silverware.

5.) 07 Aug 2017 09:55:19
After 3 pre season friendlues and one league match our experts already writing off the Mexicans and the Colombian.
I rue the day Championship Manager was invented, so many Ian Cathro type experts in our support these days.
The same guys were writing of Windass and now saying what a great player he is.
The reason football clubs pay huge money for managers is simple guys they are professionals we are merely fans with laptops

6.) 07 Aug 2017 10:57:25
How very dare u rue the day champ manager was invented! Life wouldn't be the same without it!

7.) 07 Aug 2017 12:31:37
I'm not writing them off Scotty. just think the SP tried and tested players should be in there first mate. Also don't like Champ Man or Ian Cathro. Just love the famous. Better having players you can relate to and identify with then adding the likes of Pena and Morales. A trait that has won titles and cups over and over in the past. Again, just an opinion.

8.) 07 Aug 2017 13:21:48
Players you can relate to and identify with? SPL tried and tested?
Like Shota Averladze? Like Dado Prso? Like dozens of others? What are you on about? Are you saying fans can't relate to Fod, Tav, Jack, Dorrans, Wallace, Miller, Windass etc then add a few others? Contradicting yourself there.

9.) 07 Aug 2017 18:18:58
Stupid statement to make considering we ground out win yesterday with 2 out of 3 mentioned you haven't even seen Pena play yet so how can you judge on whether he isn't up to it

10.) 07 Aug 2017 18:19:29
ha ha didn't know this page was full of negativity as well lol.
pena hasn't played and he is being written off and morelos got 6 mins so how are they not goods enough or should i say how did u even come to that conclusion.
herrera for me need to get much better than yesterday though as he was worse than a man down

11.) 07 Aug 2017 18:24:48
Wholeheartedly agree Bluebaws. Plus Morelos is cracking in my save lol

12.) 07 Aug 2017 19:11:07
Why are you foaming about Averladze and Dado Prso Wee-ecky? I said I would like to see players who are already proven in Scotland before adding foreign players in the window. The comment also had nothing to do with squad we had before the window opened.
Stiv65. I never judged anyone. simply said what I reiterated to wee-ecky. I would also like to point out the 2 u mentioned never contributed to the result yesterday. That's not the point I made however. The point was homegrown players grind out results. Just like Dorrans did yesterday.

13.) 07 Aug 2017 19:44:47
I'm not foaming about anybody, merely pointing out the total contradiction apparent in your post. You said it would be better if we had players we could 'relate to' then add others. We have, as I said, a lot of players we can 'relate to' (unless you only count Scots, which is rather racist) and we've added a few foreigners. Isn't that exactly what you want? Player like Prso, Averladze and many, many others were also brought in under these circumstances, but remember we've fielded teams before consisting of 11 foreigners and it did us no harm. I still don't get your post, which smacks of nationalism and not much else.

14.) 08 Aug 2017 12:13:51
Nationalism. get to your bed hen.

22 Jul 2017 21:00:42
Walker and Naismith will be signed next 100%

Neil coulter

1.) 22 Jul 2017 23:00:11
What do you base this on

2.) 22 Jul 2017 23:50:14
Probably a guess because manager said he would sign two more Scottish players

3.) 23 Jul 2017 08:10:40
Led said he would like 2 more players in and that although there is time left on the window he might only manage to get 1 player in. when asked who? He replied you the media should know as you print the names?

4.) 23 Jul 2017 09:32:12
Its Mclean and walker

5.) 23 Jul 2017 10:17:49
Yes 100% mclean and walker lads, Would be excellent signings, good scottish signings aswell

6.) 23 Jul 2017 11:42:00
For all you gers fans once in for all if your club wants walker just pay the going rate hearts want in you might get him . if not give your club some grief for being a biscuit tin mentality club 😂😂

7.) 23 Jul 2017 12:16:06
Mclean and walker
Both young and hungry

8.) 23 Jul 2017 12:24:36
The going rate for an uncapped scottish winger in the last year of his contract is probably about £250k. We've offered more than double that if reports are correct. I base this on Barrie McKay who is a scottish winger and been capped by Scotland in the final year of his contract and went for about £500k.

9.) 23 Jul 2017 14:35:57
Aberdeen have already said under no circumstances they will not be selling McLean to us plus I doubt PC will be looking At more midfielders we're still short up top. Naismith 100%

10.) 27 Jul 2017 00:24:11
Whats McLeans contract situation?
Heard he was in last year?
Don't think we should pursue him but if Ped does dancy him how much woukd he cost AND hiw much is he actually WORTH.

23 Jan 2017 16:36:10
Jason Cummings is coming in the summer thoughts on this 1?

Neil coulter

1.) 23 Jan 2017 16:42:36
Would love to see him at us, boy is a bit of a knob but he's a proper goal scorer something that we are lacking currently

2.) 23 Jan 2017 16:59:29
Do any bears truly think Hibs will do business with Rangers? It would have to be a real bid of at least £1.5m.
Maybe if they failed to get promoted they would need to recoup some of their loss. We've witnessed first hand the lengths Stubbs went to to deny Rangers Scott Allan's signature. He was even willing to ruin one of his young player's careers just to get one over us. Can't see Lennon being up for it. though the ultimate decision lies with Petrie.

3.) 23 Jan 2017 17:04:50
Would have preferred cummings instead of garner. That seems to be money wasted. That's my thoughts anyway.

4.) 23 Jan 2017 17:22:31
I wanted Cummings in before the start of the season - we can all have our different opinions of him socially but he knows where the goal is and that's what counts - easily the best player around about the £1 million mark just now -

5.) 23 Jan 2017 17:41:46
no chance of cummins his private life does not stand up to scrutiny

6.) 23 Jan 2017 18:20:13
No he's not.

7.) 23 Jan 2017 18:20:58
no thanks just more embarasment, do you not hear what the fans sing at this wee cretin. it rymes with speado

8.) 23 Jan 2017 18:54:43
Why would we want him next season we are trying to challenge Celtic and will be playing in Europe and he is not good enough at all i'm fed up with hearing his name tbh his is not coming to us.

9.) 23 Jan 2017 19:24:36
I'm sure most of us did some daft things in our youth (I can't image what I'd have got up to if I was awash with cash) but most of us grow up and turn out to be ok.

If JC is ready to mature and can be managed well, he can score even more goals than I'd welcome him at Ibrox.

There are not too many angels out there who can score goals

10.) 23 Jan 2017 20:21:40
No doubt Cummings would add much needed goals to our team but I think we should be setting our standards higher than that. The money spent on Garner for example could have been used more wisely in acquiring a proven goal scorer. Yes Miller is good for a goal but we seriously lack an out and out striker.

11.) 23 Jan 2017 20:37:06
Kenny miller is streets ahead of jason cummings even at 37 years old! He'll never be the striker or pro kenny miller is! Never my friend, not in miller's league!

12.) 24 Jan 2017 09:23:34
If MW wants to sign JC for next season then i'm afraid that Warbs time is up. This is a building project and if he cannot see further than JC then he isn't the man to take us forward.

JC would have been a good signing for us in the Championship and that is it. He would have been ok to have in the squad this year but next year I'd like to think we would be looking for better than Cummings even if it is in the Bosman market.

13.) 24 Jan 2017 10:08:44
The boy links up well with McKay for Scotland under 21's but still won't be a go all machine we can hold the ball a as long as we want but we players to brake into the box and take a chance our take a chance from out side too

14.) 24 Jan 2017 14:43:53
Cummings had one good half season in the championship and he keeps being linked with us, to be honest its embarrassing and soo untrue thankfully.
I don't want to spend money on a boy who has a worse personality than barton and no where near the talent of Kenny miller.
we have better the now hey aren't performing I wouldn't want a wee speado in my team any ways let celtic have him

09 Jul 2016 22:51:58
Talk about Nick Powell going 2 us would be a good signing just been released from Man U!

Neil coulter

1.) 09 Jul 2016 23:48:22
Def a talent but a little injury prone. Wolves and Hull both meant to be interested.

2.) 10 Jul 2016 11:04:29
I lived in Crewe a few years ago, so have seen a lot of him over the years. He is very talented, however there was a lot of talk that he had fallen out of love with the game during his spell with man u. If Warburton can work his magic with him then we might have a superstar.

02 Jun 2016 22:49:22
Talks of us looking at Eitan Tibi Dom Ball and Ben Pringle what use think of these signings lads.

Neil coulter

1.) 03 Jun 2016 09:17:21
Hope Dom comes back! Don't know the other 2 to comment!

2.) 03 Jun 2016 11:19:38
Eitar Tibi is a backwards step, Dom Ball unlikely as a move to championship is on offer and Ben Pringle is a highly sought after player, if could be done which is unlikely would be costly but great player.

3.) 03 Jun 2016 12:20:18
How is Eitar tibi a backwards step?

4.) 03 Jun 2016 12:33:01
All 3 would be good, but they are NOT 'signings'

Dom- has already said his goodbyes at MP, and has Championship offer I believe.
Tibi - has been 'recommended' to us, we haven't looked at him
Pringle is out of our ££££ bracket.

5.) 03 Jun 2016 12:43:07
Literally no idea how you can describe the center back as a backward step.

6.) 03 Jun 2016 13:59:59
The big Israeli is not a step back
Dom Ball loved his time at Ibrox and would cost nothing
We have spent very little so I imagine Pringle is not out of our price range. Warbs is always saying about adding value there three players would do that.

7.) 03 Jun 2016 14:10:25
Seen Tibi play before, seems very good with the ball at his feet for a CB, can pick out a great pass, doesn't shy out of challenges, extremely decent in the air and very good ball retention. I think he may be what we're looking for.

8.) 03 Jun 2016 15:06:45
Like bil72 said Tibi has been 'offered' to us. For all we know Warbs could have zero interest in this guy. Never heard of him. Doesn't inspire me with confidence his career but who knows if we do sign him I'll trust that he must be decent.

I'd love Ball back permanently. He's so young he'd be such an asset to the club.

You think business is on hold till Warbs is back his holidays?

9.) 03 Jun 2016 17:57:36
The Israeli boy has been playing Champions League football. As for the comment about Pringle being out of our price range- I'd like to know how you know what our price range is considering Stewart Robertson said they will assess wages with a player by player approach and there's no budget, as such, in place. I think Ball will be back this summer: he obviously loved his time here and first team football at Spurs is a few years off so its the sensible option.

10.) 03 Jun 2016 19:53:11
Why does everyone have to write there opinion if MW is looking at them there good enough so stop say they won't be pisses me off like.

11.) 03 Jun 2016 23:02:16
Bil72 why would the club give us such info if there was no chance of any of these players signing, and i don't want to hear this crap about trying to lure us into renewing our season tickets, ast. hey don't need to encourage us to renew, .

12.) 04 Jun 2016 06:41:51
bigjoh85 when has the club said anything about these players, agree with you re season tickets.

13.) 04 Jun 2016 09:18:01
Where is the press release from the club about any of the 20 or 30 names mentioned here in the last month?

14.) 04 Jun 2016 13:34:36
was ko lol.

How did rangers get on yesterday against Raith behind closed doors Ed?

Neil coulter

{Ed039's Note - I wasn't aware there was a game, nothing I can find either online)

1.) 02 Jul 2017 22:25:48
It said on the news we were playing but never gave a result

2.) 03 Jul 2017 13:29:06
Won 3-0. Morelos, windass and hardie. Two 30 min halfs.

3.) 03 Jul 2017 13:31:39
Apparently a 3-0 victory with Morelos, Hardie and Windass scoring.

Alnwick, Hodson, Pena, Wilson, Rossiter, Windass, Morelos, Herrera, Hardie, Beerman all taking part.

25 Jun 2017 01:32:15
Kenny is a blue nose so it's up 2 Aberdeenbut would love 2 see him there he's a great player and 1 of our own!

Neil coulter

15 Jun 2017 19:30:45
What's everyone's thoughts on Michael O'halloran playing right back he has plenty of pace wood do a job?

Neil coulter

{Ed039's Note - No he wont)

1.) 15 Jun 2017 20:01:08
Was thinking that myself. He does have some pace on him and the goals sounds like a good one with the way it was described. I hope he can crack on under Caxhina as well as a few others but we will have to wait and see. We have not signed a back up right back or starter. Has Hodson been involved in pre-season at all or is he injured. Maybe he has been told to go and O'Halloran will be a make shift right back/ right wing back.

{Ed039's Note - Hodson was on international duty until a couple of days ago - O'Halloran is a terrible winger, how anybody can think he can do a job at right back against SPFL or European teams is beyond me)

2.) 15 Jun 2017 20:14:35
I think you are right Neil. a plank of wood would do better job.

3.) 15 Jun 2017 20:35:29
By all accounts O'Halloran played at right back in this afternoon's friendly against Colleraine, don't know how he played though

4.) 15 Jun 2017 20:51:48
Can't see Hodson, Kiernan or Crooks at pre season training. Anybody know where they are. We know where Forrester and Garner are.

5.) 15 Jun 2017 20:59:45
Yes played 45 mins at right back today against Colraine. Cannot see this working, only time saw him attempt a tackle last season he was sent off against Motherwell. Better we use him as makeweight to get someone in.

6.) 15 Jun 2017 21:04:59
O halloran is cack, bye bye

7.) 15 Jun 2017 20:23:24
careful being so emphatic ed039

{Ed039's Note - he is rotten)

8.) 15 Jun 2017 21:47:37
As Ed says Hodson has just come back from international duty, Crooks and Danny Wilson are injured, Kiernan has disappeared completely (paid off on the quiet maybe? ), no sign of Candeias training or playing today so maybe he's injured?

{Ed039's Note - Candeias only joined recently. I would imagine he has had some things to tie up back home)

9.) 15 Jun 2017 21:47:46
He is rank rotten. If we can get him involved in a swap deal for somebody like Walker it'll be brilliant business

10.) 16 Jun 2017 13:02:59
Dont see the need for it, We have Tav, Hodson will move on and i'd expect to us sign a full back whether its to play first team or be a squad player

14 Jun 2017 20:51:09
How many more signings do u think we need? And do u think we could win the league this season? I'm feeling optimistic about this season lads 👍🇬🇧

Neil coulter

1.) 14 Jun 2017 20:57:45
A few more needed but not this season players need time to settle into scottish football next season

2.) 14 Jun 2017 21:07:35
If all goes to plan including Pena, Herrera, Morelos and Dorrans I would just say a more defensively sound right back would be brilliant. I try not to get my hopes up too much since we are rebuilding but if the team clicks and gets off to a fast start then I don't see why we can't challenge.

3.) 14 Jun 2017 21:18:14
With Pena, Dorrans, Morelos, Herrera and Walker all wanted, I'd think our signings will be done until august. Focus should be trimming the squad. With Mark Allen supposedly coming in as DoF he will probably put forward a few targets. I would never rule us out for winning the league but its a huge task.

4.) 14 Jun 2017 21:21:31
I think he will bring in a dozen at least, hopefully he can get Dorrans deal over the line! I personally wouldn't spend 1 million on Walker because I hate the thought being held to ransom by a spl club and I personally don't think he's worth it! Get Barry McKay sold and use the money to get Weiss. I also think Pedro will bring in at least one fullback and also hopefully another Marquee signing and that will be business over. 👍🏼🇬🇧

5.) 14 Jun 2017 21:25:14
Don't know how many more signings we will have but certainly excited about the ones we have.
And as for winning the league. Why not. Let's go for it. And if it is to be second place then at least it should be after a bloody hard fight.

6.) 14 Jun 2017 22:04:31
Bring in Abella and sell Tav after that then we should concentrate on bringing in a quality Winger. Not saying Weiss although would like to see it happen but someone of that caibre at least.
I do think Pedro will bring in one more signing at 2-3m plus. that's why I think that bringing in Walker wouldn't really enhance the squad.

7.) 14 Jun 2017 22:53:05
Wiess and abella and we will be sorted

8.) 14 Jun 2017 23:35:22
What I would do regarding Walker is tell him to sit tight, F#@K the jambos. The lad is still young and he's not a priority signing! It'll teach them to hold us to ransom. Come Jan they'll accept 250k!
Thoughts Bears surely this is the way to go.

9.) 15 Jun 2017 04:54:52
After last year I don't think there should be any talk of winning the league. let's just see how the team gels and how our new players get on first :-)

10.) 15 Jun 2017 11:28:10
We need a great right back.

13 Jun 2017 23:09:08
2nd bid knocked back for Dorrans surly we know how much they want we need to get this one over the line

Neil coulter

1.) 14 Jun 2017 04:39:21
If they want rid and he want to only come here we will just be trying to get him as cheap as possible probably.
