I think Gerrard plans on playing Roofe and Itten together Most games this season which leaves only Defoe as back up, would be wise to have an extra player in. Especially as this is prob Defoe’s last year and considering he’s had a few injuries himself. Too important a season to risk going into it short of goals. £2 m not a lot of money these days tbh.

Rfc92, that is not a fact mate it’s an opinion. It won’t be fact until proven correct. Murphy has no future at rangers that is a fact mate 👍🏻 Shankland is a striker/ centre forward. Murphy is a winger who played through the middle apparently doing quite well at burton last season. But he’s never a striker At rangers. And going by lack of interest in him I doubt he’s better than Shankland in many people eyes other than yours mate.

We have a Manager at present who has improved in Europe, where you are measured, and it could be argued that he has improved us domestically over last season. We were nothing short of robbed in the LC Final by Clancy and his cohorts, and he has beaten Celtic three times in 18 months. Where would we be financially without the European run we're in, would BIG SAM have taken us to the last 16, in my opinion NO.
