1.) Very very poor statement which is just a holding position, says nothing new, comments are false. and all will be well.

your can't keep repeating same statement with no new facts.?

this week we need short term finance from shareholders at eye watering rates many times that of our rivals, today more ill formed comment.

there is huge vacuum, or real facts, plans and actions.

we have reduced players wages, or reduced strength, or cut costs. anthing positive and showing progress will do.

not 60 days and still looking, 70 days and still reviewing. ?

talk is cheap, actions speak louder than words.

2.) Talk maybe cheap but I for one will wait to see what the accts show before I will make any knee jerk reactions and so should everyone else

3.) Talk maybe cheap but I for one will wait to see what the accts show before I will make any knee jerk reactions and so should everyone else

4.) Expect interim accounts to show just £5m loss on year, down from £14m loss last year, and improvement on £11m as one offs no longer recuring.

but expect this to be achieved in reality by £20m revaluation of ibrox/mp being tranferred, so our club debt will jump from £16m last year to £36m this, and this reval will be added to real income to hide our real loses.

account can be massaged, and ibrox/mp which bought for £5m now appear in accounts with goodwill revaluations which are heading for £50m

5.) You must remember that any moves the club makes must be announced to stock market giving all details for shareholders or prospective shareholders to view

IF you were to win the Scottish Cup and IF you were allowed to compete in Europe, how far do you think the current squad will take you and what recruitment would be required (banter page remember).

Paddy Malarkey

1.) Depends on how they are managed. With current managment team. round 1. But don't worry this won't happen. Look how Stenhousemuir took us apart with quick movement of the ball.

How will any team fair next season? Round 1 or 2 before exit?

2.) Well depending whether u have to qualify or go straight in it still would not be very far but as we speak or email ally on ssn after the 120 days period is over he exspects to be better of with wages budgets and transfer money did I hear correctly because the noise in the room was quite bad if that's the case can I get a loan of g wallaces magic wand

Anything wrong with my posts, mate? Even when logged in, they don't appear, like the one yesterday agreeing with George and suggesting further reading. Is it problem my end? I know I am not a supporter but I do have shares and it is a banter site.

Paddy Malarkey

{Ed039's Note - I haven't seen any Pads sorry, I will ask the other Eds but I personally haven't seen any)

ED

Heard anything about this ?Perhaps share price movement was due to fact that another site - has released an excerpt from SPFL board minutes that show they will now chase the newco for a £250K fine that was imposed on the oldco for the EBT scandal. As SPFL cannot recover from liqudated company they have decided it is a footballing debt which newco agreed to cover as part of the 5 way agreement. Seems like everybody is trying to get their cash before second admin. Sell now before left with nothing

From LSE Share Chat.

Paddy Malarkey

{Ed039's Note - I had seen that Pads yes)

1.) If it is part of this legendary 5 way agreement then why now is it just surfacing. Would also like to know did the SPL pay DU the money they held back from Rangers from a Scottish Cup tie season 2011/12.
. Rangers also had to Forfeiture £2. 55m winnings of in prize money from the SPL for the 2011/12 season. How much do they want.

{Ed039's Note - Plus the money from Steve Davis)

2.) 20 Nov 2013 22:10:21
Is it possible the rangers didn't forfeit 2. 55 million prize money but actually the spl couldn't give the liquidated clubs money to a new club? Similar to the £600,000 every spl team got from setanta that isn't being paid to the new club also? Just a thought?

3.) Hi ed - I posted to you first - you didn't publish. I then posted to LSE site under same user name. you should make clear THIS info on scribd site as excerpt from SPFL minutes 28th October. and further today 3. 2 Million shares were dumped today by single investor as well as the 200k shares yesterday that caused me to look into reasons why

{Ed039's Note - if they were both there then I would only post it once to avoid repeating it)

4.) 21 Nov 2013 07:58:00
@1 Are you seriously suggesting that Newco should be free of Oldco's multi-multi-million pounds debt but be entitled to the winnngs earned by Oldco? The football debts were the price agreed for newco entry to the league - surely everyone can see that without that then any club would be free to buy success beyond its means, not least by nabbig othervteams players and not paying for them, then just shed all its debts by going into liquidation and taking three years to go through the leagues as it overspends on same strategy all over again? There has to be at least some measures to avoid financial unfair play on that scale! Surprised to see you joining in on this one Ed, seriously shocked to see you claim davis money should've come to newco, that just simply isn't the case for all sorts of reasons, legal as well as fair play.
Jocko

{Ed039's Note - I never said rangers should have seen that cash, just merely showing that not only the board who have been getting wealthy off rangers)

5.) 21 Nov 2013 13:16:17
Ed I'm sure you would agree, though, that there is a big difference between the spfl "getting wealthy" by legitimately "withholding" money that is simply not due to newco, and the board getting wealthy through hoodwinking the fans and other jiggery pokery tactics. Just your comment at @1 made it sound like you put both in the same bracket?
Jocko

{Ed039's Note - Why not pay out to oldco then, I keep hearing all the concern for the creditors, surely then that money belongs to BDO so I dont agree with your ascertation that witholding the money is legitamate)

6.) 21 Nov 2013 18:47:13
Fair point Ed, though it's not so much getting wealthy "off rangers" in that case, rather getting wealthy "off rangers creditors". don't really think we can cry victim on this one.

{Ed039's Note - I wasn't crying victim for Rangers, I was bemoaning the lack of sense at the SFA or whichever organisation it is)

7.) 22 Nov 2013 21:48:03
Ok so we're all agreed then, the sfa are a bunch of balloons but rangers not particularly victims. Glad that's been cleared up and sense prevails. Can't stand this victim mentality that has prevailed ever since liquidation.

I'd like a pint of what you're on! Lampard and Terry's wages are around 12million per season combined. Both Wanyama and Hooper have years left on their contracts and would cost over 15 million in transfer fees. Their wages combined would be around 5 million per season.

Anybody know if they still represent the Easdale brothers?

They will only get tickets as part of the SSC and I don't know any members who don't wear Scotland attire, especially with the snazzy "retro" top we all got on renewal. I would also imagine that the stewarding will not be keen to allow opposing fans to mix.

@ Allymac

What price will the shares be transferred at? Say 1p a share again, accounting for 15m of the 16m+ shares yet to be issued. This strengthens their hand at present. If there is another public share issue, their percentage holding isn't diluted and they can shares to recoup their loan.

At the recent AGM the board failed to get the required 75% of votes necesary to pass resolution 10 - "renew the directors' authority for the disapplication of pre-emption rights". Pre-emption rights protect shareholders from the dilution of their stakes and passing the motion would have given the board the ability to sell shares to selected investors for as little as a penny a time. The club stated that they may renew attempts to secure this privilege in future after 32. 1 per cent of votes went against them.
I would content that in the near future we will see an EGM called were this resolution will be put the shareholders again. If the loan is exchanged for shares this will ensure that this resolution will now have the required votes to be passed.
This will then allow us to see who really holds the power and also will allow the majority shareholders to offer shares to other interested parties that have been waiting in the wings to invest.
