After all the shocks we've had this past 5-8 years i don't know why tonights new should surprise me but i'm genuinely shocked!

So it looks like we'll be getting McInnes for our next manager and i'm delighted about it. Liked him as a player in a team full of foreign international's. He's a top young Scottish manager and a gers man at that. Knows the league and has done pretty well at Aberdeen consistently. I backed Caixinha so McInnes has my full support. I know its all about opinions but this, he didn't win the league when we were in the doldrums is is a prooer poor imexcuse

Bit distracted towards the end of that post lol. Carrying on from where i left off, just because he didn't win the league while we were in the doldrums is a poor excuse not to have him. Celtic were and are still a hell of a lot better than Aberdeen. Get Moult in and a couple of other to bolster the 1st team and i think we'll come good. Like one of the other lads said. Get Murty with the youths, he's good at what he does and we really need the boys coming through

2.) 06 Dec 2017 19:57:27
I wanted Mcinnes before Pedro but like many I would settle for Murty if it was a choice between the 2. I will still support him tho and agree that Murty should go back to the youth as the amount that are getting chances at the moment is down to the good job he has done.

Candeias, best winger in a Rangers shirt since who? Just putting it out there. He's had a great start!

I'm all for being confident pappy but slow down a little there sir.

Early days.

2.) 10 Sep 2017 19:57:57
I agree but we've not been blessed with much talent this past wee while. Just curious

3.) 10 Sep 2017 20:56:59
The guy had a really good full ninety minutes and didn't shirk out of challenges. So for me he could be an improvement over McKay.

4.) 10 Sep 2017 22:39:16
Just a pity Barrie McKay didn't show the same fight and commitment as Candias has shown.

Similar height and build. Just hoes to show what a bit of passion and desire can add to a players game.

5.) 11 Sep 2017 00:08:50
Since barrie mckay mate, who imo should never have been sold! Especially not for 500k! Trust me that will prove to be an absolute steal, for notts forest! Barrie mckay has absolutely everything in his locker, to play at a very high level and a much bigger club than forest! Even brendan rodgers said he rated barrie mckay very highly and was stunned when rangers sold him!

6.) 11 Sep 2017 03:33:11
Candeias is more direct, more accomplished, more experienced and 100% less feart than McKay, who is a wee sand dancer and will not come back to haunt us. He's already heading for middle-England obscurity. McKay gave us five performances last season, out of about 40. A dud.

7.) 11 Sep 2017 06:54:02
Mckay flattered to decieve for me, i agree and disagree with what u both say. he has got a lot in the locker but just keeps the locker locked and i wouldn't say he's a dud but definitely not consistent enuf. P. S, Supercoop don't fall in to the same trap the media have mate ("even Brendan said") crap

8.) 11 Sep 2017 09:23:49
There was no doubting his ability however his attitude was all wrong and some of his displays were awful. It was clear he wanted to leave and really left us no choice but to get rid of him. £500k was however far too cheap

9.) 11 Sep 2017 11:33:02
Candeias does not have the skill of McKay but makes up for it with some dig and determination. I think he could be a great player. Re Barrie McKay - I think we have missed a trick with him. Would have been a brilliant number 10 with his ability to land the ball on a sixpence. Ah well, too late now. Wish him well though unlike a lot on here.

10.) 11 Sep 2017 12:21:08
Makay could maybe have went on to good things at Rangers but not as a winger, maybe a No10. A good winger needs to relish a strong tackle, get up and go again. Committing defenders 100% of the time you have the ball and getting by them as many times as you can. Plus track back. That wasnt his game.

Think we could have done with an exrra central midfielder in there today in place of one of the strikers. As a partnership miller/ hererra wasnt great and thought motherwell picked up a lot of possession in the middle. Hopefullly pena is the man to fill that spot. Some variation of a 4 1 4 1 formation, thought morales looked more dangerous when he came on and might do okay with the support of more advanced wide men. Windass 1st half was immense!

1.) 06 Aug 2017 18:54:53
Windass was superb pappy, but I thought candieas had a great game also, he looks a far better player than McKay in my opinion

2.) 06 Aug 2017 19:00:49
Totally agree, think he's a great wee find. Very impressed with Cardoso as well.

3.) 06 Aug 2017 19:03:33
Surely Penna must be fit and prepared enough to get game time on Wednesday against Dunfermline.

4.) 06 Aug 2017 19:28:52
Windass was great in first half but completely disappeared in the second half

5.) 06 Aug 2017 23:29:29
Pena and morales should start against dunfermline. Even if they are only half fit you would expect them to be good enough for that level.

Any gers fan that doesn't love McCoist wants to have a word with themself. Great player, great personality, Rangers legend.

Blue tint? On a Rangers page? How miserable would this page be if it didn't have a blue tint? I've never heard of a clubs progression being halted due to fans supporting their club whole heartedly. Impatience and negativity is far more likely to impair our rise to the top. Statements like "Nobody else (celtic apart) should be taking points off us" is nuts. Watford beat Asenal yesterday. Leicester won the Premier league 2 years ago. This is football and the guy that spends the most money doesn't win every week. Catch a grip and enjoy winning 3-0, 4-1 etc etc

Rayman your right when you say yous are miles ahead of us just now. But yous went from absolute guff to a team capable of a record breaking undefeated run in the space of summer holidays. So quick turn arounds are always possible, and it'll happen to us soon enough. Bound to get it right sooner or later.

I agree with you gazo. The atmosphere is everything in an old firm. The format works so don't change it. Take the sore ones on the chin and the victories will be sweeter. Much better hammering into 7000 celtic fans when we're winning rather than 1000 stuck in a corner :)
