Just hearing Barjonas possible loan deal to Partick Thistle and that Steve Davis rumour is maybe a non starter.

1.) 29 Jun 2018 07:28:54
Barjonas to Partick is a big step up hopefully means he's ready to make the step up in to our set up

02 Nov 2017 07:11:12
Will the fact we have an upcoming double header against the sheep have any bearing on McInnes' decision, should he be offered the job? Thoughts, bears?

1.) 02 Nov 2017 07:51:37
realistically yes

but if a comp figure to release him from his contract has been set and we pay it, then there’s no reason it should

i appreciate due diligence must be done especially after last 2 appointments, but if we are going to get DM then we should do it sooner rather than later ie next week

2.) 02 Nov 2017 10:31:36
if we know who our top target is we should make a move right away as holding off won't do us any good at all we want the manager to have as many games this season as possible to get the best out of our players and to assess what he needs to bring in, but anyone who comes in should know what we need and should have been paying attention

3.) 02 Nov 2017 13:03:31
i believe they r moving fast. howver the reason i don't believe its mcinnes is because if it was him surely it would be job done already. why hold interviews in london if they already made their minds up.

30 Oct 2017 14:53:27
Derek McInnes interview on Sportscene yesterday. He was trying so hard to keep the grin off his face when asked about the Rangers job! A very near relative recently said he would not have came during all the turmoil, but would love the job at some point. of course he would, he is a dyed in the wool bluenose! Get him in, NOW!

1.) 30 Oct 2017 16:14:07
He's my preferred option.

2.) 30 Oct 2017 23:24:51
If McInnes is offered it then he will take it.

3.) 31 Oct 2017 08:30:03
Of course he will take it aberdeen are not a bad club but they will never be a dominant force regardless who manages them.

Guys, East Fife beat Hearts, albeit on penalties. We send a shadow side and win easily in deplorable conditions. Think too many judgements are being made based on yesterday's performances. The manager isn't doing it, I'm sure he was just happy to get the win, and get these guys some game time. They will be judged every day in training and he will pick a starting 11 based on that, and the opposition. Seems to be getting it right so far this season. In Gerrard we trust!

I see Liverpool are letting Wilson go on loan despite saying this wouldn't happen. Wonder if there will be a u-turn of this nature regarding Kent.

{Ed001's Note - there has been no one willing to meet Wilson's asking price, but Leeds are still keen on buying Kent. The sale of Roofe might give them the dosh to spend, but I do think he will end up going on loan because Leeds seem to have a shortage of cash, even though they have been selling heavily this summer.}

1.) 06 Aug 2019 10:54:25
Wilson could win the League Title for us on a season loan! A tremendous player who in time could be a Liverpool regular! 🇬🇧.

2.) 06 Aug 2019 11:25:36
Looks like Wilson is going to Bournemouth on loan but he's a cracking player.

3.) 06 Aug 2019 12:26:48
So why could we not get Wilson on loan instead of Kent?

4.) 06 Aug 2019 12:57:34
Think they want a substantial loan fee mate. Wilson would be incredible!

5.) 06 Aug 2019 13:34:36
It hurts to say but Bournemouth are probably higher up the totem than us. He'd get decent game time at them and presumably his aim is to establish himself in the premiership.

6.) 06 Aug 2019 14:35:02
I would just like to add to this guys. My cousins are from yorkshire and are big leeds utd season ticket holders for many years now. They have told me this morning, that with what they've been told, ryan kent will be signing permanently for leeds utd permanently, before the transfer window closes. The fee they're telling me is £7.5million, with another £2.5million in add ons, which takes the deal for kent to £10million. Liverpool will also get 10% of any future transfer, should leeds sell him on in the future.

Only sharing with fellow bears what they've told me and seemingly the info regarding kent going to sign with leeds permanently, is all the talk down there this morning. Looks very much like any smouldering hope we had of getting kent has truly gone guys. Good luck to wee kenty at leeds utd! He's going to a good club but not as good a club as the greatest glasgow rangers, if we could have got him here!

7.) 06 Aug 2019 14:39:39
Wilson won’t be a Liverpool regular no chance and Liverpool want to sell but no one willing to match the price.

04 Aug 2019 15:46:27
On a positive note, we are 3 points better off than last season, certainly as far as games at Rugby Park are concerned. They are murder to play against, and I'm not sure if we can put that game down as any kind of benchmark, apart from the fact we kept going and got a late winner. 3 points, we move forward and keep positive. We weren't as bad as some are saying, but there were a couple of poor performances in the side.

1.) 04 Aug 2019 16:08:02
Pdot worse playing surface in Scotland.

2.) 04 Aug 2019 16:13:01
We were terrible, our build up was so slow, very poor movement. We were lucky today, very👍.

3.) 04 Aug 2019 16:26:12
Yea three points and a piss poor performance tav head is not at ibrox
Barisic has got it but just doesn't
Deliver but hopefully we can learn
Before we meet the Danes that will be another physical challenge.

4.) 04 Aug 2019 16:30:33
Tav = MOTM!

5.) 04 Aug 2019 16:33:33
I actually thought the pitch was a lot better looking than it has been👍.

6.) 04 Aug 2019 16:36:48
Some positives last season that is a game that would have finished a draw. Last season we were conceding last min goals not scoring them.

7.) 04 Aug 2019 16:55:37
I’m glad Tavs Head wasn’t at Ibrox because they were playing at rugby park. We played poorly and still won. Calm down.

8.) 04 Aug 2019 17:03:57
I said before the game that any win would do me. Not pretty but by far the dominant side. If Kilmarnock play in the same aggressive manner against everybody they will make it very difficult to get results against them at Rugby Park.

9.) 04 Aug 2019 17:41:41
We didn't play well but dominanted the game. And won. That'll do.

10.) 04 Aug 2019 19:41:46
Coldo - Killie have renewed their pitch this season, not sure what type but apparently there upgraded it. 4g or 5g, I'm not really sure. can't beat a grass pitch though.

11.) 04 Aug 2019 19:54:48
Coldo park might look better but ball did not roll true, passes were slows and players struggled to control it.
Even Killie players struggled, they r better themselves on grass.

12.) 04 Aug 2019 20:11:44
Grass is better, I just pointed out that the pitch was better than before. Shouldn't be using the pitch as an excuse👍.

13.) 05 Aug 2019 00:19:34
Gerrard said in interview after it ito actually a worse pitch than last year's and plays even slower.

14.) 06 Aug 2019 14:02:55
Agree with you coldo far too slow and whoever said Tav was man of the match I honestly don’t know what you were watching he was poor like most today our left back got forward more than Tav granted his crossing was poor but to say Tav was man of the match is ludicrous.

21 Apr 2019 19:07:27
Guys, seems there is some confusion on here about fixtures (and Andy Walker) They have Killie at home, then sheep away before coming to Ibrox. We play sheep and hivs and them, all at home. Last game killie away, they play Hearts at the San Giro.

04 Mar 2019 21:52:13
Is that the draw we wanted, guys?

1.) 05 Mar 2019 00:13:52
Knew we would have to beat them to win it so semi or finsl makes no odds. Still a tough aberdeen tie to negotiate tho.

2.) 05 Mar 2019 01:38:29
Get past the sheep first.

3.) 05 Mar 2019 02:08:39
If we want to win the cup we need to beat them sometime.

4.) 05 Mar 2019 09:51:40
Aberdeen are missing Cosgrove due to suspension so we should be them no bother.

5.) 05 Mar 2019 11:38:34
Thats it, if we want to win the cup then we have to beat them👍.

Good bit of business to A) get rid of him and B) just about get the money back for him. Overall, I think we are nearly there as a team, but think we need to have a settled look going in to the league campaign. We have played some nice stuff, but have also been sloppy. Hopefully we will sharpen up and hit the ground running against Killie. No worries for next Thursday, but I think only having a 2 goal lead will mean we don't muck about with the starting 11 too much, which could potentially be a good thing.

Greg Stewart will be involved a lot more than many people think, IMHO. Seen it before when a player perceived as a back up has gone on to be mainstay. Look no further than Kamara as an example. Who truthfully believed he would have been as much of a vital part of the team as he became? Stewart will hopefully follow suit.

Your own fault for thinking you would get 'an adult discussion' Sir! Seriously though, I'll be keeping my own counsel this week (kinda) then sticking it right up them after we cuffs the beggars on Sunday!

Just in from the game. Thought Helander was fine first half, but playing beside Goldson must have messed with his mojo in the second half, when he was not so good. But Goldson was Rotten, guys. No wonder the big Swede got nervy, playing next to him. Time for the manager to put big Katic back in. But leave Helander in and try him and Nico together. At the end of the day, we're through, against a physical, stuffy team on a poor surface. Bring on the sheep on Saturday!
