Apparently Rangers have spoke to Barnsley in the past 48 hours about Tom Bradshaw but the price quoted was too high and he is being chased by championship clubs.

1.) 06 Aug 2018 13:42:39
Would he be cup tied for Europe and c we have a chance of revenge against Progres if they get tae the next round.

2.) 06 Aug 2018 14:00:01
Cup tied.

3.) 06 Aug 2018 14:15:08
Not forgetting we also need to make it to next round.

4.) 06 Aug 2018 14:37:26
He would not be cup tied for the Group Stage, rules changed this year . Same goes for Barisic of course.

5.) 06 Aug 2018 16:51:30
What am I missing? When were Barnsley in the Europa league?

6.) 06 Aug 2018 17:13:14
Parky, I’m with you. Totally confused. Barnsley play in league 1.

7.) 06 Aug 2018 18:14:14
I think he's getting confused with Burnley.

8.) 06 Aug 2018 18:26:44
Dudes I messed up I meant to put above on the Barisic post sorry for the confusion that’s what I get for messaging when a should be working 🤪.

9.) 06 Aug 2018 18:26:57
Fifa 18 that's the only way Barnsley will get europa league football lol.

10.) 06 Aug 2018 18:42:13
I think he might be confused with Burnley Barnsley possibly.

11.) 06 Aug 2018 19:10:36
He's not cup tied, he's not good enough either. Scored in league2 and league1, dismal in championship.

12.) 06 Aug 2018 23:36:27
Surely we need to be aiming for a better standard of player than bradshaw👍.

17 Jul 2018 13:11:13
Rangers interested in loaning Joe Gomez from Liverpool. The player has other interested parties and Klopp has not yet decided if he is surplus to requirements. Let’s wait and see.

Also Solanke does not want to move to Glasgow. He has found it hard enough to cope from moving north from London to Liverpool and is apparently a real home bug.

1.) 17 Jul 2018 13:32:02
Omg. this could be the funniest thing I’ve read! Brilliant! 😂😂

2.) 17 Jul 2018 14:52:18
Thats brilliant. Brightened up my day😂😂😂

Liverpool turned down a reported 25m bid for him from Spurs in January and all of a sudden we have the financial clout to sign him👏👏👏

3.) 17 Jul 2018 15:56:40
He said loan?

4.) 17 Jul 2018 20:36:02
Ah that makes more sense. said nobody ever!

5.) 17 Jul 2018 22:22:04
It would be great if we could loan a 25m rated player. No chance!

6.) 17 Jul 2018 23:20:33
Gomez has recently recovered from a serious injury and is seen as part of the long term squad at Liverpool but the club would like to see him play more games to ensure his body is capable of picking up week after week.

01 Jul 2018 10:21:25
Heard a rumour Rangers have spoken to Burnley about Sam Vokes but the fee is out of our price range. Talks are apparently ongoing with Rangers looking to pay an initial seven figure loan sum and pay the remainder next season to split the sum across multiple seasons. Whether Burnley will be open to this is another matter.

With Wood and Barnes preferred as the big men up front it could be plausible that Vokes does leave Burnley in the summer but if he is open to moving to Scotland I don’t know but the opportunity to potentially play in the CL could be a factor.

Rumour came from a family member (Celtic fan) who lives in Blackburn and works with plenty of Burnley fans. Might be BS but worth mentioning.

1.) 01 Jul 2018 12:37:42
Rather go for wood

2.) 01 Jul 2018 14:36:15
POSEIDON. Your rumour isn't going down to well mate according to the unbelievables. I enjoy a rumour when there may be some truth in it!

3.) 01 Jul 2018 15:00:57
Just passing on what I heard mate.

4.) 01 Jul 2018 15:28:15
No worries Poseidon. All the best sir.

17 Jun 2018 04:31:23
SG has contacted Liverpool reps about bringing a young lad called Marko Grujic in on loan. A decision on his future has not been confirmed yet by Liverpool but he was loaned out to Cardiff last season.

SG is looking to trim the player who primiarily play CM to make space hence why Holt and Halliday have been told they have no future so early into SG’s reign.

1.) 17 Jun 2018 05:12:33
As part of the loan deal with Cardiff he was promised to play 90% of there games (if fit) regardless of form. We can’t be having those sort of deals. We must pick our best 11 on form and merit.

2.) 17 Jun 2018 13:35:31
grujic is cracking player just not given proper chance at liverpool. if we can get him i'd jump at chance kind of player we need in midfield

02 Jun 2018 14:07:03
Hi lads, heard Mark Allen and SG are interested in bringing in a Chelsea youth player called Mason Mount on loan. He was on loan in the Dutch league last season.

Seems highly rated, with a few interested parties and where he plays next season will be dependant on the potential coaching changes at Stamford Bridge.

1.) 02 Jun 2018 14:18:54
I'm sick to death of these young players! We need men not kids!

2.) 02 Jun 2018 14:40:01
Just passing on what I got told Deano.

3.) 02 Jun 2018 15:13:31
Deanobear of they're good enough they're old enough pretty simple. The boy is very highly rated as is every young lad we've been linked to and all are better than what we currently have

4.) 02 Jun 2018 15:38:06
Is there not a famous quote sayin. you will never win anything with kids. Up steps fergie and the class of 92. as above if good enough then there old enough. Sometime our support are mental. Lookin to sign this you lad he's 18 in brasil squad the next neymar. na no for us too young :)

5.) 02 Jun 2018 16:39:21
No sure why you are sick to death of these young players when none of them have actually signed 😳

6.) 02 Jun 2018 17:25:42
IF they are 'good enough', then why are most of these academy guys playing first team football NOW!
IF they are moved out on loan I would suggest they ARE NOT good enough

Rant over

7.) 02 Jun 2018 18:26:17
BAR72 I hope your sitting down because this might shock you.

Chelsea's first team is considerably better than ours. If they were good enough for Chelsea first team then they're too expensive for us

8.) 02 Jun 2018 19:52:14
Saturday crazies out in force again!

9.) 02 Jun 2018 20:33:00
Busbie babes from another era, or a young slimmer Derek Johnstone

10.) 02 Jun 2018 22:20:51
Do people actually think by getting 3/ 4 Liverpool or Everton youth players will help us? For me it's looking like the same as warbs underestimating the league again? now I'm English but live in Glasgow but still no All to well how much the Scottish league is put down down south so the fact they think players from other teams academy's not even first team squads will come up here and suddenly dominate there having a laugh this is rangers not some smaller club to go learn your trade if management are heading this way then I'm worried.

{Ed0333's Note - really? I don’t see those stellar world class players knocking a path to your door. Pigeon steps mate.

11.) 02 Jun 2018 22:27:45
Mikeger I get What your saying and if it was a Chelsea player on the fringes of the quad like say solanki from Liverpool then great I'm all for that but being linked with kids who have no experience what so ever then sorry but Glasgow rangers should not be for them for both are benefits.

12.) 02 Jun 2018 23:06:11
I've never heard of Mason Mount but if he is highly rated at Chelsea then he's no mug. He was on loan at Vitesse and played 29 times scoring 9 goals for their first team in a league that's stronger than SPL. So there's his experience.

13.) 02 Jun 2018 23:31:47
Right there with you Deanobear. Said the same thing a couple weeks ago, hope I'm wrong but it stinks of Warburton.

14.) 03 Jun 2018 01:21:02
It does Marco I just hope we are wrong.

15.) 03 Jun 2018 01:56:42
If he was good enough to play in the Dutch league he will be good enough for ours

16.) 03 Jun 2018 02:08:28
Not disagreeing with the comments of young players we have been stung before with guys let Nemane but have also had success with loans with guys like Weiss and Bartley.

FYI this info came from a former St Johnstone player who is still good mates with ex Chelsea player Jody Morris who I am assuming still has affiliation with some people at the club.

As I said above not seen much of the lad myself but happy to pass on the info as I am sure someone on here will appreciate it.

{Ed001's Note - Morris is a youth coach at Chelsea at the moment, though he is expected to go with Lampard to Derby.}

17.) 03 Jun 2018 08:21:14
Well he’s no signed or even linked to the club by anyone credible and you’re all fed up 😂😂 I’ll back any decision my and SG make 100%. If you’re no happy don’t watch! But let's see where we are on 31 Aug before moaning about signings!

18.) 03 Jun 2018 09:38:06
Totally agree deanobear! . Time and agiain established players come up from england and can't hack it. I now live in newcastle and its the same from english fans. They complety hunderate the game in scotland.
Remember Barton stating he would be best player in scotland. that's the mentality. We need a good mix of experiance of our league with a cojple of young uns with potential.

19.) 03 Jun 2018 11:11:57
Thing is IF we can get good prospects on loan from top clubs for a year then we are in top position to sign them. Regulkar first team football European football and fantastic support.

20.) 03 Jun 2018 11:55:47
last season we simply didn't have enough players of a decent quality and it showed when we had players injured. While we need to sign three or four quality players, having guys like Solanke form Liverpool on loan will be a good thing as will having our own youngsters like Middleton in the match day squad. We simply need to replace the mediocrity that we had last season where there wasn't a game changer on the bench.

I am watching the Spurs V Newcastle game currently. I know the leagues are worlds apart in terms of finances but having a look at the quality of the pitch on show really highlights why good players will not come to the SPL to play on plastic surfaces. It is a completely different game on grass.

1.) 11 Aug 2018 14:40:46
How arrogant are paddy power paying out last week and winding rangers fans up at bargain just laughing went u say rangers have a shout in league not saying we will win it but they will be challenging love to see it shut they arrogant smelly mob up.

10 Aug 2018 05:16:06
I think it just goes to show that the coaching set up and the mental side of the game is so important in the modern area. The players seem to be playing for the manager and it has been a long time since I have seen players play for the shirt rather than to put themselves in the shop window.

Say what you like about Tav’s faults but the passion for the club oozes out of him and has done for a while now and it is that passion that infects his team mates and the crowd.

07 Aug 2018 10:27:31
Usmanov is selling is shares in Arsenal. Come on big man what would it take to entice you to buy the most successful club in Europe?

I wish!

1.) 07 Aug 2018 11:41:55
that’s barisic confirmed holding up the scarf

must be curtains for wallace.

2.) 07 Aug 2018 12:07:41
Most successful club in the world!

3.) 07 Aug 2018 12:11:52
posiedon live a stonesthrow from the emirates in north london, what i'd do for usamanov to buy the famous rangers, he makes obramovich of chelsea look like poundland in terms of wealth. somebody get into this guy, he would be the dream ticket for us. london jock.

06 Aug 2018 09:18:36
This place is insane. Like actually insane. After one poor game it is ‘this lad should be sold, that lad should be sold’. These same players get praise the week before. Some fans really need to look hard in the mirror.

Surely I cannot be the only one thinking our performance yesterday was the best performance I have seen a Rangers team with ten me play in a long time? Yes we conceded late on but we could have capitulated after the red card.

I think the SFA need to have a look at the way an assistant referee ruined that game yesterday. VAR got a lot of stick during the World Cup but if VAR was around yesterday the Rangers won comfortably. I think if an assistant ref makes a big call like he did yesterday the referee should be allowed to halt the game and see a replay.

1.) 06 Aug 2018 09:40:54
I agree with you poseidon. Its a massive improvement to our team,
with gerrard as our manager! Absolutely night and day, to last season! We controlled the game against the sheep yesterday with 10 men. We never looked in danger and were never troubled by them! I for one, am very impressed with gerrard and the rangers team he's remember,
only started building, so far! Our players look very fit and assured and we'll only get better and better! let's all get behind our manager steven gerrard and the players! Patience and i believe stevie G, is the manager to get us challenging for the league title!

2.) 06 Aug 2018 09:42:12
Couldn't agree more.

3.) 06 Aug 2018 10:07:11
Well said everyone. If we hadn't had these crap seasons under Pedro and the Breadman we would have given Stevie G two or three years to get back to the top. There seems to be more pressure from some fans because of the barren years that preceded his appointment. I'm rather concerned that we still don't seem to have another striker so where are the goals going to come from? As for Morelos, I see in The Scotsman that two French clubs might be interested in him. Though I quite like Morelos, if £10 million were to be offered in the summer Gers should take it!

4.) 06 Aug 2018 10:08:56
VAR costs 4m a year does it not?

We can’t even get every team in our Premier division playing on grass, nevermind VAR.

VAR was not required for that yesterday, just a level head and common sense.

5.) 06 Aug 2018 10:50:01
BearMode VAR aside if the red waited 2 mins he could have got a replay from the broadcaster. If it was the ref running around the pitch who made the call in real time then fair enough but if an assistant makes the call the ref should get a chance to review it.

28 Jul 2018 09:27:54
It is funny to see a certain club in the SPL complain about not getting enough away tickets to Ibrox.

It is the clubs perogative to do what they like with allocations but for a certain club who trash talks Ibrox constantly, trash talks the club and even attempts to refer to the club as a ‘new club with no history’ to complain that it takes away from ‘the status of the game as a sporting occasion’ is pitiful.

One minute the club are ‘dead’ the next Aberdeen are the second best club in Scotland but now Rangers are ‘ruining the status of a great sporting occasion’. Which one is it? They seem to want it both ways.

1.) 28 Jul 2018 10:01:38
"The Glasgow Derby" is what they've been calling it now.

2.) 28 Jul 2018 11:13:46
And going by their logic, the old firm died in 1994!

3.) 28 Jul 2018 11:26:14
I campaigned long and weary to get their allocation to be cut because the demand from Rangers fans for tickets was so great I couldn't understand why we gave them a whole stand at our expense, that said 800 is on the low side. The thing is there is nothing to stop them from giving us our full allocation which would uphold ‘the status of the game as a sporting occasion’ for at least two games a season but have chosen to be childish and cut our tickets to 800. What they are actually saying is "we would rather sell tickets to Rangers fans at our own expense" where we are now saying "we will sell tickets to Rangers fans at their expense".

Pieters was close to joining Newcastle on deadline day and is well paid at Stoke. Can’t see him joining but it is a good calibre of player to be linked with.

As soon as he signed I knew he was going to be good pick up. I am sure he was linked with some pretty big clubs a few years back when he was first coming through. He could do a lot worse than sign for Rangers permanently should his loan be successful then move onto the PL in a similar way to Wanyama.

The club had to move players on to save on operational expenditure. Not ruling out an other signings being made by any means but I feel the Windass and John moves were more to get some marginal players wages off the books than to finance a megastar.

Simple the club have no money, only season ticket income and can’t knock back offers to plug gaps. I agree players have left for a pittance and don’t get me started on the whole King court fiasco. Yes players like Waghorn and McKay had some dark days at Rangers but still had a value that should have been enforced.

I will be called a ‘tim’ or a fake fan etc for posting this but I think those type of responses highlight the bottom base negligence of some of the ‘real Rangers men’ we seem to have on here.

Windass and Candieas are two different players and to be honest I have found both equally frustrating and fantastic at times. I think Candieas’s work rate has won Gerrard over but let's not dig at past players, without Windass’s goals where would Rangers have finished last season?

Onwards and upwards. Katic and Goldson are the best CB pairing in Scotland by far.

Brian I am no super fan of Josh or Alfredo but like you to slate Josh for yesterday’s run out is pathetic. Yes Alfredo shouldn’t have done what he did but it was never a sending off. If the officiating was really at the level it should have been Morelos should have got a free kick for McKennas off the ball barges prior.

You blokes have lost it.

One of those players gets sent off for a little bit of niggling, the other ran his socks off for 96 minutes and won a penalty and Murphy has just signed permanently and you want him out already after failing to be a super attacking threat playing with 10 men.

What is even going on here.

Violence in streets and disregard for public safety is a big issue. Absolute twats and all involved are an embarrassment to the sport.
