Hi guys does anyone know if this lad Grezda has signed. Only source reporting the the Daily Rip-off saying he has had a medical?

1.) 29 Aug 2018 10:19:09
Will be done deal the day.

2.) 29 Aug 2018 10:37:25
Some sources state the deal will be done today or tomorrow, other sources saying his work permit won't be granted until Friday morning.

Either way it will be done before the window closes.

3.) 29 Aug 2018 10:41:26
Be done on friday.

4.) 29 Aug 2018 13:41:28
Waiting on work permit being confirmed, media outlets say he passed medical yesterday.

5.) 29 Aug 2018 14:45:08
no later than 5.3p.

6.) 29 Aug 2018 16:21:20
Poseidon, why are you still reading that damned rhag?

23 Aug 2018 12:47:05
Hi all, I was at a charity event last night to raise funds for MND and Jan Wouters former Rangers coach was in attendance with his wife. We had a good chat to him reminiscing about his days at the club, the best days of his football career he said.

Anyway we asked him about the goings on at the club but he said he had little to no contacts at the club these days but still kept in touch with some former players. He said that a former player mentioned to him that Jones from Kilmarnock has been identified as the player to cover for Murphy dependant on the finances involved.

1.) 23 Aug 2018 15:45:11
Jones would be a great signing I think as back-up/ squad player for us. His pace and technique on the ball could provide us with some good options.

2.) 23 Aug 2018 16:54:43
Or, as we have previously pointed out in past seasons. A good winger is only as good as his tracking back. Take Sunday for example, Tavernier got all 3 assists down the right hand side completely unmarked. the winger responsible for this? Jordon Jones. Candeias and Murphy both embraced the fact they would need to go back with the full backs not so sure this guy would.

3.) 23 Aug 2018 17:33:54
Jones has no technique, he's a brainless runner in the O'Horrible mould.

4.) 24 Aug 2018 13:11:23
I initially thought Jordan Jones would be a good signing as a developing player buts he turns 24 in October so he is almost all the player he is ever going to be! He’s had 69 apps for Kilmarnock scoring 7 which isn’t phenomenal! Looking back further he started his career at Middlesbrough where he didn’t make 1single appearance then 2 loan spells at Hartlepool and Cambridge where he had only 12 games combined! If we’re looking for a squad player with future potential development I don’t think he is the answer!

06 Aug 2018 13:20:44
Apparently Rangers have spoke to Barnsley in the past 48 hours about Tom Bradshaw but the price quoted was too high and he is being chased by championship clubs.

1.) 06 Aug 2018 13:42:39
Would he be cup tied for Europe and c we have a chance of revenge against Progres if they get tae the next round.

2.) 06 Aug 2018 14:00:01
Cup tied.

3.) 06 Aug 2018 14:15:08
Not forgetting we also need to make it to next round.

4.) 06 Aug 2018 14:37:26
He would not be cup tied for the Group Stage, rules changed this year . Same goes for Barisic of course.

5.) 06 Aug 2018 16:51:30
What am I missing? When were Barnsley in the Europa league?

6.) 06 Aug 2018 17:13:14
Parky, I’m with you. Totally confused. Barnsley play in league 1.

7.) 06 Aug 2018 18:14:14
I think he's getting confused with Burnley.

8.) 06 Aug 2018 18:26:44
Dudes I messed up I meant to put above on the Barisic post sorry for the confusion that’s what I get for messaging when a should be working 🤪.

9.) 06 Aug 2018 18:26:57
Fifa 18 that's the only way Barnsley will get europa league football lol.

10.) 06 Aug 2018 18:42:13
I think he might be confused with Burnley Barnsley possibly.

11.) 06 Aug 2018 19:10:36
He's not cup tied, he's not good enough either. Scored in league2 and league1, dismal in championship.

12.) 06 Aug 2018 23:36:27
Surely we need to be aiming for a better standard of player than bradshaw👍.

17 Jul 2018 13:11:13
Rangers interested in loaning Joe Gomez from Liverpool. The player has other interested parties and Klopp has not yet decided if he is surplus to requirements. Let’s wait and see.

Also Solanke does not want to move to Glasgow. He has found it hard enough to cope from moving north from London to Liverpool and is apparently a real home bug.

1.) 17 Jul 2018 13:32:02
Omg. this could be the funniest thing I’ve read! Brilliant! 😂😂

2.) 17 Jul 2018 14:52:18
Thats brilliant. Brightened up my day😂😂😂

Liverpool turned down a reported 25m bid for him from Spurs in January and all of a sudden we have the financial clout to sign him👏👏👏

3.) 17 Jul 2018 15:56:40
He said loan?

4.) 17 Jul 2018 20:36:02
Ah that makes more sense. said nobody ever!

5.) 17 Jul 2018 22:22:04
It would be great if we could loan a 25m rated player. No chance!

6.) 17 Jul 2018 23:20:33
Gomez has recently recovered from a serious injury and is seen as part of the long term squad at Liverpool but the club would like to see him play more games to ensure his body is capable of picking up week after week.

01 Jul 2018 10:21:25
Heard a rumour Rangers have spoken to Burnley about Sam Vokes but the fee is out of our price range. Talks are apparently ongoing with Rangers looking to pay an initial seven figure loan sum and pay the remainder next season to split the sum across multiple seasons. Whether Burnley will be open to this is another matter.

With Wood and Barnes preferred as the big men up front it could be plausible that Vokes does leave Burnley in the summer but if he is open to moving to Scotland I don’t know but the opportunity to potentially play in the CL could be a factor.

Rumour came from a family member (Celtic fan) who lives in Blackburn and works with plenty of Burnley fans. Might be BS but worth mentioning.

1.) 01 Jul 2018 12:37:42
Rather go for wood

2.) 01 Jul 2018 14:36:15
POSEIDON. Your rumour isn't going down to well mate according to the unbelievables. I enjoy a rumour when there may be some truth in it!

3.) 01 Jul 2018 15:00:57
Just passing on what I heard mate.

4.) 01 Jul 2018 15:28:15
No worries Poseidon. All the best sir.

I think we can get a result today and if we can snatch a win it will be a defining moment for the league that the competitiveness between the big two is back.

My one gripe over the past few years is when we allow them to keep the ball and pass between their midfield and defence letting them control the game. I hope Gerrard tells the midfield, wingers, strikers and full backs to hassle them into making mistakes as they play far too many pointless passes.

0-2 Rangers, Morelos to break his duck and big Goldson or Katic to smash one home from a corner. Bring it on!

1.) 02 Sep 2018 05:23:16
This game has been hyped up so much part of me expects it to be a total flop 1 all draw or something but hey, I'll happily take that, any points we can get from the piggery is great for us especially considering our trip to the middle of nowhere in Russia.

Still hoping for a win though, don't care how or by how much, beating them would be amazing.

I wonder if Grezda will be thrown in as an unknown wildcard as they won't know anything about what to expect from him.

This is the first time I've been excited about an Old Firm game in years, usually I'm bricking it or thinking "here we go again" but this time I genuinely believe we'll get something out of it.

2.) 02 Sep 2018 06:48:08
Poseidon, i feel the same mate 0-2 Rangers.

3.) 02 Sep 2018 10:25:10
F-U, I don’t think grezda has played since may so can’t see it happening!

26 Aug 2018 09:58:32
Guys maybe sometime, maybe nothing but noted that Joe Worral wasn’t in the Notts Forest squad yesterday. We need another CB I think we would all agree and this lad looks a good options. Failing that I would take an experienced head like McAuley for a year.

1.) 26 Aug 2018 10:36:28
We certainly DON'T need a 38 yr old, I sincerely hope this isn't on the cards .

2.) 26 Aug 2018 12:24:50
get realistic we can only sign players if we qualify for group stages i'd take mcauley as cover still a good exsperianced centre back, seen him enough to no he could still cut it with us, and mcauley wouldn't come with a transfer fee if we fail with worral of notts forest. london jock.

3.) 26 Aug 2018 13:03:12
Mate we are not Notts Forest!

25 Aug 2018 02:03:19
Guys, if you want to see how far the club has came since Gerrards arrival pop over to the ‘great selic’ page and have a read at the absolute fear ripping out of them.

When Gerrard was appointed is was a case of ‘U18’s coach, less experience than Murty, Rangers 2012 are a joke’. Now they are shaking in their boots with posts like ‘we will be ok against them if $Dembele is fit to play’ and ‘Rangers will give our defence a tough gig’.

What happened to we are a million miles ahead or our Brenda will wipe the floor with SG and he will be gone before Christmas? I hope we not only beat them on the 2nd, I hope will smash them and dominate the game. They have built themselves up so high that when they fall it will hurt. They will say afterwards ‘we are still treble winners and it is the first time you have beaten us in your new clubs history, blah, blah’ but deep down it will hurt like a dagger through the heart and they will know we mean business.

1.) 25 Aug 2018 08:01:32
Why would anyone want to read a tim page?

2.) 25 Aug 2018 08:16:56
Why not? Do you not read any sport or about any other team other than Rangers? Oh you must be one of those ‘real ranjurs men’ I keep hearing about. Grow up mate.

3.) 25 Aug 2018 08:29:20

I don’t go onto their sites as I have no interest in hearing what they are saying. Nothing to do with being immature or as you put it being a real runjers man.

4.) 25 Aug 2018 08:47:33
So Arthur you do not have any mates or work colleagues who support Celtic that you have banter with and chat football with?

5.) 25 Aug 2018 08:59:55
Brenda will be gone before Christmas and Donald Trump is toast.

6.) 25 Aug 2018 09:55:09

7.) 25 Aug 2018 10:06:19
A personal favourite of mine was 'never mind 10 we will will 20 in a row'.

8.) 25 Aug 2018 10:07:28
poseiden. What age are you? When have I even spelled (or pronounced) Rangers as ranjurs and why would you come on a RANGERS site to recommend we all go on a tim site? Please explain.

9.) 25 Aug 2018 11:04:43
Whats a Rangurs man?

10.) 25 Aug 2018 11:29:39
a ranjurs man is the exact opposite of a sellic man for your information.

11.) 25 Aug 2018 11:43:09
Standby for SEVCO onslaught when we beat Pacific Shelf at the Girodome on the 2nd. Yer teams deid hahaha.

12.) 25 Aug 2018 11:47:16

No I’m not saying that I’m just saying I have no interest in going into their sites nothing wrong with that

Hoof harted

Really don’t know why you have come out with that it makes no sense as I said above their sites don’t interest me so I don’t go on them. What’s immature about that?

13.) 25 Aug 2018 11:48:16
rajurs are mainly prodestunt and sellic are mainly kafflic hope that clears everything up.

14.) 25 Aug 2018 11:50:20
I have mates/ colleagues that are celtic fans but I don't go on their sites or pages, why would you? Who cares about what they are saying? 👍.

15.) 25 Aug 2018 12:07:12
no point in reading their site because they post most of their stuff on here can't keep away from what i see?

16.) 25 Aug 2018 12:54:27
I've a few Celtic supporting mates and was talking to them yesterday and they were all saying that next week is the 1st old firm game in a few years they're genuinely worried about. They agree that morelos and lafferty will bully their back line all day and if they were betting men, based on current state of both teams they'd put money on us to win and that Goldson will throw griffiths about like an empty trackie.

17.) 25 Aug 2018 13:19:31
Dont need to go on their site to know their in meltdown. The shift of power is happening #55.

18.) 25 Aug 2018 20:15:01
Possid . I had a mate (who is a diehard smelly ) once . but he fell out wi me last week when hearts beat them. Ah never even slagged him. he just concocted some crazy argument and fell out. Brill you’ve got to laugh 😂.

24 Aug 2018 15:06:06
I was chatting to a few mates yesterday about Lafferty. If the 2012 issues never actually materialised do the fans think that Lafferty would have still been a Rangers player today?

1.) 24 Aug 2018 15:33:48
Doesn’t really matter tbh. What’s done is done.

Need to move on and look to the future. I’m happy to have him back, can only improve the team.

2.) 24 Aug 2018 15:59:20
Bear mode I think he will do well also but his career certainly went journeyman since he left Rangers. The question was could he have become a key figure back then or would he always have had to leave to mature?

14 Aug 2018 23:17:34
Rumour has it the ‘great selic’ got pumped by a team who won their league by default last year tonight. Maybe now they will understand that they are not as elite as they think. Cannot wait to get stuck into them in a few weeks.

Wouldn’t believe that mate. He was part of the Saints squad today.

Still think there is a lack of creativity through the midfield and I am still hoping Arfield takes that role on. I have no faith in Dorrans or Rossiters ability to stay fit and the formers ability as big game footballer. Maybe Ejaria could be the man to link the midfield and attack but it is difficult for a youngster to be very consistent in the middle of the park in our league due to bruisers.

I think he would be good option. Someone of that ilk who has pace to threaten but experience that he can bring to a relatively young team and offer support whilst Murphy returns from injury. We could do worse than Dyer in my opinion.

I think unfortunately Murphy’s injury plays straight into Hearts hands as I am sure they will feel we will be desperate to bring in a forward player. I think Gerrard want Lafferty to play on the wing as his height can cause issues at the back post when Candieas or Tav etc put crosses into that area especially with the SPL defenders struggling to man up 1 on 1 with Morelos. Lafferty wasn’t my first choice but I can see how Gerrard see’s him fitting in.

GraemeH never seen them play and all honesty never heard of them until this draw but I think Osijek were one of the hardest teams in the qualifying round (much better than Maribor) and after seeing us beat them we shouldn’t fear anybody in these qualifiers.

Personally I’d like to see the club pay him and Rossiter off. Both are picking up decent wages and are injured constantly. When they have had opportunities to start they haven’t offered much in my opinion.

Yately no doubt about it, these guys are scared of what the club has achieved in such a short space of time. Get in their faces from the first whistle and let them know they are in a contest!

Not sure about Middleton being a regular come January, he seemed like a deer in headlights during the Motherwell game when he came on. I agree that these kids do have something about them and have to be nurtured gradually into the side.

Let’s see how Sadiq goes when he is fit but if he doesn’t seem to be adding much to the team I’d rather see Rudden get a run out at the tail end of games to offer Morelos and Laff a rest.

Jason Cummings was gash. Liked his attitude and the fact he never said a bad word about his experience at the club but can’t think of one good reason or one great thing he done while at the club. Morelos and Lafferty are a big step ahead.

Well said Doiger. I think we can get a result tonight and Sunday but if not no need to hit the panic button as it is evident we are improving.
