Lads, said on here before regarding Peter Crouch being looked at.

Mark Allen had lunch with Steven Kabba and another gent from Stellar football in London last night. It could be Crouch related or maybe they were discussing the royal wedding.

Also the club are waiting to get a national or global name on the books before launching the new kit hence why there hasn’t been a release date yet.

Believe what you want just passing the info along. Cheers.

1.) 19 May 2018 06:10:57
Also if rumours of Defoe are true, maybe Gerrard could recreate the little and large partnership that done so well at Spurs.

2.) 19 May 2018 06:34:14
Kit deal is a contractual issue. Can't release it until this one expires, which I believe isn't until July time. Nothing we can do about it.

3.) 19 May 2018 06:48:21
Heres one for you and I hate passing on info this early on as I can't double check or at least hear from a second source but I've heard that the Defoe info is good but they want to make Andy Caroll the big signing.

4.) 19 May 2018 07:04:15
Andy sicknote Carrol are you for reals? The lad has seen more injuries than the Royal

5.) 19 May 2018 09:43:53
Andy Carroll - no chance he is on massive money - get real

6.) 19 May 2018 10:03:08
If it was last night he met with them would it not have been dinner, sounds like u have just made this up!

7.) 19 May 2018 10:04:25
Defoe is on 135k a week, likely even more than Carroll

8.) 19 May 2018 14:22:56
Defoe is not and has at no point in his career been on 135k

9.) 19 May 2018 14:30:15
The Campbell, you're miles out, Defoe is actually on just about half the figure you quote and even at £67k a week it's more than double what we would pay.

17 May 2018 12:56:19
Hi all.

Posted a week or so ago about Peter Crouch been considered by Rangers. An unrelated source told me today that he was in Dubai recently and came across the wives of Peter Crouch and SG. As he is Scottish they asked him about Glasgow as a city and what sights they should see etc.

Again don’t shoot the messenger

1.) 17 May 2018 13:05:23
Does every footballer and their families holiday in Dubai 🤣

2.) 17 May 2018 13:22:58
Garrards wife was asking about life in Scotland? The place she is moving to. to live with her husband. Stevie Gerrard. the manager of Rangers. who play in Scotland. come on, not much of a rumour in that?

3.) 17 May 2018 13:53:46
I'm pretty sure stevie G said his wife would be staying at Thierry family home may be wrong but sure I read it somewere

4.) 17 May 2018 14:31:37
Gerrard's Mrs won't be coming to live in Glasgow.

5.) 17 May 2018 14:58:02
Pretty sure Gerrards family are staying in Liverpool

6.) 17 May 2018 14:58:20
Stevie g’s wife won’t be moving to scotland

7.) 17 May 2018 15:19:18
Gerrard wife isn’t moving to Scotland with him

8.) 17 May 2018 15:19:44
Who is scottish?

9.) 17 May 2018 16:36:12
Blueblood. Gerard's wife is staying with Theirry Henry? That doesn't sound right 🤔

10.) 17 May 2018 17:57:47
Especially as that Thierry Henry is hung like a dunkey😭😭😭🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

11.) 17 May 2018 18:39:28
Hollow55 i think the whole point of this rumour is peter crouch’s wife was asking where to visit in Glasgow, therefor ‘source’ expecting Crouch might be coming to Rangers. poseidon claims his ‘source’ says he came across Gerrards wife at the same time who was also interested in places to visit in Glasgow as her husband will now be living there. Pretty simple to be honest isn't it.? A load of nonsense though

12.) 17 May 2018 18:46:01
Lol as long as John terry isney up here he'll be ok

09 May 2018 22:52:30
Lads, heard tonight from a friend who has been hit and miss before with transfer ‘rumours’ that Peter Crouch may be an option under Stevie G.

Different type of player but personally I am not overly keen on guys using us to wind down their careers.

Just what I heard.

1.) 09 May 2018 23:40:38
Tbh every older player that’s played with Gerrard for England and Liverpool has been linked with us.

Surely we’re not going for a 37 year old Peter Crouch?

Save the wages and get Solanke on loan.

2.) 10 May 2018 06:31:17
Agree BearMode not overly keen on Solanke either. I am happy for the club to bring in one or 2 young players on loan but I feel we need men able to compete physically and if youngsters are going to be blooded I would rather it was from our academy but Melwood.

3.) 10 May 2018 06:31:27
Not Melwood*

4.) 10 May 2018 10:11:54
Men to compete physically? Haha Solanke is a beast he's 6ft2 and quick, he’d pish all over Dembele

5.) 10 May 2018 10:31:23
6ft 2 beast? He is a little kid who hasn’t exactly set the world alight with his performances this year. Pop over to The Liverpool page and ask how he is rated.

Not going to write off a kid at his age but he is no Dembele yet.

6.) 10 May 2018 10:59:02
Youre also forgetting the massive gap in the standard of the EPL to the SPL. If he was SPL setting the world alight at Liverpool then they're wouldn't be the slightest of chances that we'd get him

7.) 10 May 2018 11:19:00
Mike is that the same for Barton who done well in the EPL?

8.) 10 May 2018 11:37:30
"Not going to write off a kid at his age but he is no Dembele yet. "

Not sure what this means? Dembele is above average at best. he scored 8 goals in the SPL - less than 6 others.

Dembele was let go by Fulham as they didn't see him as championship quality, Solanke and been at both Chelsea and Liverpool at the young age of 20

goals are where it would be decided and Solanke isn't quite there yet but i'd say he is no Morelos yet.

9.) 10 May 2018 11:41:41
Barton was playing in the Championship when he came to us Poseidon

10.) 10 May 2018 11:46:52
Clint you cannot be serious. Is this the same Dembele who has terrorised Rangers for the past two seasons? I know he plays for a rival but he is a good player. Come on.

11.) 10 May 2018 11:55:05
Moussa was never let go by fulham he decided to not sign a new contract . Spurs had an 8 mil bid accepted but he chose not to go sit on the bench

12.) 10 May 2018 12:04:31
Spurs did not have an $8m bid on the table. You are lying they wanted him on a free but he went to Celtic.

13.) 10 May 2018 13:20:54
Spurs tried to sign him in the January on a pre contract. They were willing to pay 5 million and send him back on loan to Fulham.

07 Jan 2018 20:36:10
On the Jamie Murphy loan signing lads, how gullible do the board really believe the fans are? This loan deal is no more than a ploy to get the player in now and pay for him in the summer after the season tickets sell out again.

Now I don’t mind this approach but it is the transparency or lack off from the hierarchy that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. If they just speak to fans and tell them the truth there would be much more respect.

Really poor show and once again taking the fans for a ride.

1.) 07 Jan 2018 21:03:27
I thought it was because Brighton didn’t trust us to pay in instalments but who knows? I’m more upset we’re letting Pena go on loan and paying half his wages. If he was leaving on loan they should have paid all his wages or he should have stayed put in my opinion

2.) 07 Jan 2018 21:17:15
Personally i think it’s a good move, on loan so no fee, be paying half his wage, what I don’t think will even amount to the half wages we getting from Pena, so with some spare money left from there gives us the chance to bring an extra player in what we badly need, I think it’s a very smart move, so if he doesn’t settle as well as others haven’t we don’t really lose and we have first refusal if he does.

3.) 07 Jan 2018 21:31:54
Poseidon I think you’ve been under water too long.
Why should the club tell the fans the ins and outs of a million pound plus investment as it’s happening. Stop reading the dross spouted by leeches trying to sell papers. They will create a multitude of different scenarios so that tomorrow’s paper sells the same as yesterday’s. The two club have came to a deal that suits both. The only time the public will or should know the details of that buisness transaction is when it’s done. Which is exactly what happened. Your belly is rumbling because you think it should have been done this way or that. But that was fed to you mate. If there was no media input and it came out that he has signed on the terms he has you would say that it was a good bit of buisness handled well. My point. The crap you read is not what’s actually going on. Don’t believe the spin ma man. It’s all tom kite!

P. s welcome to the gers Jamie Murphy.

4.) 08 Jan 2018 01:57:20
Well said Huistra2👏

5.) 08 Jan 2018 06:37:48
This is the delusion and sheeplike qualities I was getting at. Very worrying.

6.) 08 Jan 2018 07:26:02
Sheeplike? What in God’s name does that mean. Because I understand how a club in our position in this financial climate works and you can’t get your head around the fact that we can’t throw any more money away because the papers say we should makes me like a sheep. Do you mean docile and a bit fluffy or are you saying I’m an Aberdeen fan. I’m sorry if I don’t get what you mean but I do think you should start worrying less about the board and more about the way you articulate yourself (that means how ye act n that know? ) . Sheeplike. 🤷‍♂️

7.) 08 Jan 2018 08:42:59
He means you're following the story to the letter and refusing to question it, instead aimlessly "following on" and doing as you're told. Metaphorically speaking, of course.

8.) 08 Jan 2018 13:15:44
Aimlessly following on. Jesus joanie. For one we are all aimlessly following on. That’s why we get our wee thumbs going on this site. I’m just pointing out to our man Neptune that the men behind the science at ibrox are tryin there level best to improve our club. That is a fact. why wouldn’t they. It’s the naivety in some of these posts that made me bite. The folk comin on here sayin the board are sitting with their fingers up the a&#e driving our club into the ground probably couldn’t run a minoj. So I put this to you alyernawsbaws stop the greetin and start living the real world and aimlessly follow on. You might find you’ll actually enjoy it again.

9.) 08 Jan 2018 14:58:25
I'm a celtic fan mate, I'm enjoying it all. Having the time of my life, in fact.

If Rangers loan out Morelos it will be one of the most idiotic decisions the club has made since coming up the leagues post 2012.

Yes he has his faults but can cause defences headaches in Scotland. If he goes out on loan and becomes doesn’t perform his stock will fall dramatically. If the club don’t get a good fee for him this summer Rangers should definitely be looking to keep him.

On another note has anyone seen Goldson the defender from Brighton play? If so is he rated highly.

1.) 20 May 2018 12:07:07
And why do you think we will loan him out? Has the club said that they intend to do so? As far as I’m aware all that’s happened is that a newspaper (I use the term loosely) that we all know tends to talk crap has suggested that a club might be interested in trying to get him in loan.
Now I’m interested in getting a loan of a Bugatti veron, do you think that means it’ll happen?

2.) 20 May 2018 12:56:24
Ger78, did you see the word ‘if’ at the start of that sentence? Do you understand what the word ‘if’ means.

I enjoy banter and debate but posts like this are just really to puff your chest out. The conjecture is obviously related to the recent press article so why not comment on that rather than have a go for no reason? Unreal.

FYI you could loan a Bugatti anytime, you just have to pay for it. You can loan one the question is can you pay for it? If you can it could happen.

3.) 20 May 2018 13:32:31
Is it me or are people being more rude to each on these pages over the past week or so?

If someone posts a rumour they've come across on these rumour pages they seem to get shot down instantly in a rather distasteful manner.

If somehow I were to be tipped of about a bit business our club were conducting I doubt I would post the information on here as some people on here would simply dismiss it and even throw in a random insult too.

We're all Rangers fans wanting the best for our club, is it too much to ask that we be polite and respectful to each other?

4.) 20 May 2018 13:50:06
OAG. Agreed. Easy to fling sh*t when anonymous. Bit of banter fine but some of the posts are not so clever these days.

5.) 20 May 2018 13:52:09
Well said mate 👏 followed this page for a number of years now and it is getting worse. If you've got nothing constructive to say, then just scroll by. No need to insult or try and bring down fellow bears!

6.) 20 May 2018 14:02:05
Only a game took the words out of my mouth. I've noticed same thing with some of the posts on here. We can disagree but don't need some of the abuse that's dished out.

7.) 20 May 2018 15:16:00
If anyone wants to take Morelos whether loan or buy out right get him hunted total liability since Xmas

19 May 2018 06:07:22
Through *

19 May 2018 06:07:12
Where do we reckon Scott Arfield will line up next year? Is he best on the wing or throw the middle?

1.) 19 May 2018 07:40:55
Attacking mid. Windass almost certain to be away. Arfield not a winger

2.) 19 May 2018 08:06:26
Does Arfield mean Docherty is now no longer required?

3.) 19 May 2018 08:13:55
Not on my count DEEB! Greg docherty will be a smashing signing for us! He'll excel under his hero steven gerrard! I always wanted rangers to sign doch, for around almost 2 years now! He'll be a top midfielder for us and a future glasgow rangers captain in my eyes!

4.) 19 May 2018 09:24:30
In my opinion docherty has been poor. And will be behind rossiter jack and mccrorie in the pecking order

5.) 19 May 2018 16:46:03
Think Docherty is a gem that SG can hopefully turn into a diamond. Agree he has future armband potential. IMHO only quality signing made by Murty.

17 May 2018 12:52:08
Realistically does anyone feel the signings of Arfield and McGregor are Gerrard’s signings?

I think we were linked prior to the Gerrard approach. I know we have the DOF model but this does concern me.

1.) 17 May 2018 13:20:14
What concerns you? Garrard can’t be giving the full budget to fill his boots with, most clubs have a transfer committee who help the manager find players to sign. Let’s me honest, a keeper and centre mid where hardly the priorities and as both are free will have little impact on Gerrard?!

2.) 17 May 2018 13:47:51
Poseidon you keep giving it this nonsense its well known shagger n arfield were sounded out before the gaffer came in it was also said at the presser of arfield that the deal had to be run by gerrard when in to finalise it so give urself a break pal

3.) 17 May 2018 15:09:35
Yip stevie gave gers the go ahead to sign arfield n mcgregor.
Welcome bk allan off all the jumpers who spoke out n left the club naismith etc only 1 i never said anything bad about an wanted back at club was allan mcgregor

4.) 17 May 2018 21:33:48
Two quality players. Gerrard will have gave go ahead in some format. IMHO wes is murder. Let's cheap goals in and has been poor this season. Shagger much better. More experienced and better all rounder. Artfield has played top level for years. I would think SG delighted.

16 May 2018 22:56:22
Hi lads.

Do any of you know if any Gers players will be represented at the World Cup this summer?

1.) 17 May 2018 00:23:53
Bruno Alves that's all.

2.) 17 May 2018 09:30:08
hes been included in initial 35 man squad, just needs to make the cut now

3.) 17 May 2018 16:52:20
Heard Pena will be in Russia but only because of the cheap voddy.
