Hi everyone, Rangers put out a very good side tonight Maribor are way better than Athens no doubt about that. Another strong performance well done Rangers and well done Stevie G who is showing that he's a great coach and very tactically aware. And with the English value calculator Goldson and katic Tav and Jack are all worth at least 15 million each. c'mon us.

Robbie C

1.) 17 Aug 2018 12:48:33
Athens miles ahead of Maribor mate. greek champions compared to a side in a league much poorer than the spl.

2.) 17 Aug 2018 12:54:55
We should offer all 4 a new contract and set a release clause of about 15mil stop clubs biding cheap.

3.) 17 Aug 2018 13:12:34
Let's calm doon abit. These players are just signed. No new contract until we win things or players show value over season.
As for halliday still don't rate him but prepared to give him a chance in a better rangers team.

The test is playing celtic. Then we will see where we are.
I'm quite confident we will have a very good season.

4.) 17 Aug 2018 16:49:10
Dunfermline loyal, Maribor are more than 50 places above Athens in the Uefa coefficients.

Look, if the manager appointment decision depends on the AGM then why doesn't the club just say that? Instead of all this cloak and dagger stuff which ends up in rumour heated debates and splitting opinions. I thought the in word at Rangers was transparent keeping the fans up to date on what's happening. Because the board haven't said anything the AGM is going to be heated at least. The gutter press will love that.

1.) 27 Nov 2017 10:55:45
I think there has to be another reason regarding the delay in choosing a manager, my theory being it's more to do with the Take Over Panel decision at the Court of Session although that's only a hunch.

Hopefully some searching questions can be posed at the AGM albeit I expect the usual replies of good times ahead, talking to investors behind the scenes, blah, blah, blah but nothing concrete.

2.) 27 Nov 2017 11:36:10
Naz - I agree, there must be another reason - personally I think the well has run dry!, we just might be having an issue paying off Caixinha, and we don't have the where with all to give any half decent manager what he would need in January. Not looking good.

3.) 27 Nov 2017 11:59:35
Where is stuart robertson these days he was all over news when he appointed pedro

02 Oct 2017 23:43:34
Some players Rangers must surely be interested in bringing in. Moult, Walker, McLean, Souttar, Bartley (Hibs) . strength and goal threat through out there I think.

Robbie C

1.) 03 Oct 2017 05:54:37
What about john fleck, not because he is an ex player but because he is a really good level headed player. I've watched him a few times tgis season and he really stands out most games.

2.) 03 Oct 2017 07:18:14
Could certainly do worse than bring John Fleck back he's a solid pro Fod.

3.) 03 Oct 2017 10:42:35
for me moult is an absolute must and if we can we need to get more options for rb as tav can't defend.

4.) 03 Oct 2017 11:19:35
Should have got calum paterson, another fine spl talent slipped through the net.

5.) 03 Oct 2017 12:00:31
I agree Peds Moult is a necessity a solid defensive rb would be great and a cb with pace who can cover at lb would be good someone like Magnusson I think you call him at Bristol .

6.) 04 Oct 2017 00:02:04
I said it at the time and I still say the same. We should have went and got cummings and mcginn from hibs. Now I understand that Rangers are neither of there fav clubs but both more than capable and will have massive sell on values! We obv missed out on cummings but what’s the thoughts on mcginn?

7.) 04 Oct 2017 14:40:56
If we're banning green boots, we won't be signing thims like McGinn lol

8.) 06 Oct 2017 17:10:11
id love mcginn to come play for us as he may be one of them but we cold use a tallented player like him buzzing around the middle of the park.

Morning everyone, what's really annoying me Scotland is a Mecca for anti football tactics fouling and stop anyone trying to play the game in the right way. It's a hot bed for hammer throwers teams like killie, The sheep, Hibs, Livie ect are littered with bully men making a living out of football up here. At the moment unless refs get a grip these teams and players are getting away with this sh_t. All they seemed to be interested in is if Morelos gets annoyed. It has to change so keep at the so called powers at be people see if there's a reaction. c'mon us.

Robbie C

1.) 17 Mar 2019 11:06:26
It doesn’t seem to have much of an effect on Celtic. Tbh your just making excuses. We have been rotten recently and have to many players not up for the fight. Another clear out is necessary.

2.) 17 Mar 2019 11:49:47
Teams play to their capabilities, Scottish game has Always been physical. Teams like livi, Killie, sheep, Hibs will rough you up but that is part of the game anywhere in football. And they are still taking points of us, we had a decent run in Europa but domesticity we are no further forward. Stevie must win league next year I don’t think any other trophy will save him from the chop.

3.) 17 Mar 2019 12:36:29
Why do people persist on making excuses? 👍.

4.) 17 Mar 2019 13:09:04
Does not make a difference to Celtic as they have players able to battle physically, we don't
That's what we require.

5.) 17 Mar 2019 16:12:45
Arthur D, read your post and youve stated another clear out is necessary. that's would mean us starting all over again. So when Warburton came, he had a clear out as did Pedro and Gerrard. I agree with your post but are we really moving forward like Gerrard has quoted. what's the answer? i'm not against Gerrard and obviously wish him all the best but i ask how many of his signings have succeeded? . My opinion are McGregor and Kent (loan)

6.) 17 Mar 2019 18:16:50
The stuck

Holt, Coulibaly, Dodoo, Davis, Kent, Worrall, McAuley, Foderingham, Alnwick and DeFoe probably won’t be there next season and it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that Morelos and Tavernier will be sold. Barisic doesn’t look interested and Grezda has struggled. That’s what I mean by clearout so it’s not necessarily starting again from scratch.

7.) 17 Mar 2019 18:22:00
Sorry guys not making excuses here but Celtic do not get the same treatment from the majority not all Ref or teams as we do

There was Aberdeen with near a whole team of yellow cards where there should've been at least two sending offs it's shocking tactics and refs are letting it slide! If that were Celtic there would've been men off the park! Aberdeen don't even remotely try against Celtic Pure mince against them!

8.) 17 Mar 2019 19:44:53
Yeah that's an excuse kaz👍.

9.) 17 Mar 2019 22:39:19
It's all about heart, drive and determination. Rangers teams of old conceded a goal then every player reacted and it was personal, they would over come it get back in the game and take it to them, this team doesn't have it. As soon as we conceded after 2 mins against Aberdeen I knew we wouldn't win and it was exactly the same yesterday. The point is if the ref doesn't give a penalty or a red card when he should then tough luck, the players have to step it up and go and take the points for themselves. I would like to see how many games Celtic have won with late late goals this season, I would imagine it's a good 5 or 6 anyway, it's something we just don't do. You have to grind out results and that is 1 of the reasons (amongst others of course) Why we can't challenge right now.

10.) 18 Mar 2019 01:09:45
Robbie C you missed out your own team from that list of hammer throwers, or had you forgotten how dirty you were in the last match against Celtic.

11.) 18 Mar 2019 16:03:57
Trust The powers that be? .

They just lost the evidence so that the manks fans trial got dumped.

10 Mar 2019 14:06:10
Hi everyone, I've just watched the Birmingham derby. Blood and thunder all the way another shocking fan attack on a player. A word on McGinn what a class act this guy is very powerful full of energy hard working a good passer always going forward he turned the game in Villas favour. Would've loved to have seen him in our team, maybe if we get Hastie from Motherwell we, LL have our very own McGinn type player for next to nothing? Here's hoping . Canon us.

Robbie C

1.) 10 Mar 2019 14:23:53
Just seen the incident on twitter, really disgraceful stuff, agree about McGinn, we’re lucky he’s away down South rather than across the city, he’s definitely an upgrade on what they have.

09 Mar 2019 09:07:37
Morning all. I like everyone last night felt very disappointed and frustrated at the end of the game. A game we should have won by a mile. Morelos has been great all season but he was awful last night you saw there goal coming we started flagging in mid field and needed a sub on to freshing things up. But my main worry is the pure hate the verbal and physical abuse to Rangers players, it's very close now to something serious that's going to happen. That idiot could have had a knife on him, the banners the chants the on line stuff is out of control now. All the authorities football ones and the police are doing nothing, the press IMO WIP the feelings up before every high profile game we play. Rangers fans sing one song and everyone past and present jump up and scream how terrible we are.

Robbie C

1.) 09 Mar 2019 09:10:53
cfc, aberdeen and hibs fans ALL need to be kept under control - what they say; what they do and how they do it need to be looked at -- it does seem to be collusion there.

2.) 09 Mar 2019 09:18:20
There is an incident at every game now when Rangers or Celtic are playing, is it pure sectarian or in most cases just thuggery? The media put a spin on everything to suit themselves.
Also I read that Hastie said he has not had talks with anyone, where did his story start, was it DR or from an honest source?

3.) 09 Mar 2019 10:06:52
Our stupid away fans think they are at an orange walk not a rangers game. They are embarrassing our club game after game. Step up fans groups and get this sorted. Some wee Hibs junkie runs on the park so we are up to our knees again. The hole game I had to listen to the old proddie, 1690 crap. Half the support at the game have no idea who is but would rather sing about him than any of the actual players or the team.

On the park I think we are getting there. Need an alternative to Morelos who has been outstanding this season. A number 10 and defence needs sorted. We know we need 2 goals as we nearly always concede.

4.) 09 Mar 2019 10:23:55
Celtic fan in peace - Robbie, you're 100% right about the conduct of some fans and I'm getting sick of Celtic/ Rangers fans getting blamed for Scottish football's ills. People always try to bring it back to bigotry/ sectarianism and say its a west coast problem which is all a lot of nonsense.

Its hooliganism plain and simple and Hibs and Hearts fans are the worst offenders. that's twice in a week a hibs fan has attacked an old firm player, look at the incidents at tynecastle over the last few years too.

I reckon its time for a coherent voice from Celtic/ Rangers fans, the main problem has nothing to do with sectarianism (most folk don't even know what this word means), its about time the Edinburgh clubs started taking the flak for it, clearly they have bigger issues than us.

5.) 09 Mar 2019 11:12:25
Hibs and Aberdeen fans are far worse than any side of old firm. You don't hear as much about it because media are selective what they publish, but if it was any side of the old firm they are all over it like a rash.

6.) 09 Mar 2019 11:39:53
Gerry and Phil
Talking a bit of sense.

7.) 09 Mar 2019 12:59:51
Indeed it's poor that it's mostly old firm getting it all the time. It's because we have much bigger fan bases, put it this way if a teams fan base is 10% idiots Rangers and Celtic have 5 or 6 thousand idiots The rest maybe have a thousand or so so we are heard and seen more it's just easy for everyone to blame the big bad old firm.

05 Feb 2019 10:07:25
Since the resumption after the break this coming Sat, Rangers will have played 5 away games and 1 home, and that lot will have played 6 home and 1 away unreal, the league fixtures especially should be home and away from start to finish IMO. And just a mention on penalty 3 on Sat, I'm not disputing his feet were outside the box but I thought his body angle was towards the area when he handled/ cought the ball which I reckon was at least on the line if not in the box what do you think people?

Robbie C

1.) 05 Feb 2019 10:38:32
And Rangers will have the advantage in the run in. Stop whining, some fans are getting as bad as the other lot with conspiracies, they're all out to get us.

2.) 05 Feb 2019 12:35:46
we play the same teams over the course of the season. shouldn't really make a difference when we play each team.

3.) 05 Feb 2019 12:37:39
Robbie, rangers played 24, 12 home, 12 away. Celtic played 24, 12 home, 12 away. what's your point caller. maybe the BBCs fault?

4.) 06 Feb 2019 09:04:33
i think the point he is trying to make is that at no point do rangers get a run of home games like that in the league. and also celtic don't get a run of away games like that to justify the amount of home games in a row. especially after a winter break. we have only had 2 home league games in a row twice this season. never any more than 2. they have had this run of home league games yet only had or will have 2 back to back away league games which rangers will also have had.

5.) 06 Feb 2019 11:50:32
Sir Walter, due to cup draw and game in hand, we are starting to sound like them.

02 Jan 2019 11:08:42
Hi everyone, Happy New Year to all. Regarding the transfer window a few players I would like to see at Rangers . Alan Hutton would be a great addition at right back tough tall not scared very athletic. Greg Stewart very clever attacking midfielder, and surely Shankland is well worth a punt for all he would cost he's an out and out goal scorer. Enjoy the rest of the holidays everyone, c'mon us.

Robbie C

1.) 02 Jan 2019 12:02:44
Next two lge games Killie and Livi away. Two back to back games on artificial surface just hope we can get through them with two wins and no injuries.

2.) 02 Jan 2019 12:16:56
Yes Jaws and the unwashed have three home games in a row against St Mirren, Hamilton and St Johnstone. How did that happen, or is that a silly question?

3.) 02 Jan 2019 12:17:49
Agree Jaws, drop any points in these games and we undo all the good achieved by the Celtic result.

4.) 02 Jan 2019 12:52:21
DOIGER is that right that they've got 3 games at home? How was that allowed to happen?

5.) 02 Jan 2019 13:19:13
DOIGER

St Johnstone game was postponed due to cup final I think and that date was the next date for match.

6.) 02 Jan 2019 13:57:29
The St Johnstone game is their game in hand, scheduled on the next available date. Nothing to see here, folks.

7.) 02 Jan 2019 16:34:32
It happened because we’ve just played 2 away games and Uve had 2 at home! And the st Johnstone one is our game in hand! So aye doiger as usual from you, it was a silly question!

Don't knock Bates he's good needs to improve yes and he will I'm sure of it . I would have him in every time way before Alves or Cardoso couple of duds in my opinion. Bates is strong brave decent speed and can only get better with age well on his side.

Seriously I couldn't care less if we got a reduced allocation at there ground. We will watch it in the house or down the pub with mates ect. Get them in the corner. More tickets for Rangers fans isn't it we look after our own fans. Hearts Motherwell Aberdeen and others in recent years have all reduced away fans allocation in favour of there own fans nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Get them in the corner. c'mon us.

Get them in the corner where the rest of the away teams fans go. I've had enough of them bumping there gums about anything Rangers . Making up stories spreading rumours about anything and everything, belittling us at every turn attacking us verbally and physically on the streets daft statements with there stupid banner displays (boring so boring) enough Rangers no more Get them in the corner now. And let's stand up for ourselves and take no more Tim ridicule anymore. c'mon us.
