I don't think this transfer window has been a complete disaster. Okay, we missed out on the Brentford guy and moh (not too bothered about tht) . If we get Reed on loan that strengthens the squad until the new boys Crooks and Windass (who I think will be great signings) come next season. Why buy people this window when they may not get game time next season?

Reed not coming, apparently too many obstacles to overcome, I think missing out on MOH is a big loss, although I appreciate what MW says regarding valuations, hope we go back for him in the summer.
Bit perplexed as to the billy king signing MW says no panic signings, and then out of the blue king signs on loan also he says himself he only asked to go out on loan recently and his agent sorted things in 1 day? seems a bit rushed to me, not the normal MW due diligence process?

The talk down here in Southampton is the move is still very much a possibility and haven't heard anything to the contrary, that said there is interest from Swansea who could be tempted to buy him outright, maybe if he could be persuaded to come up with me for the Falkirk game at a rocking Ibrox would swing the deal, once bitten Rangers smitten.

Warbs said we will do our due diligence on players not be rushed in and all that, yet lo and behold king speaks to trainspottin Robbie in the morning and says I'm fed up here gov your no gein me a game can you get me a loan deal, aye hold on kingy I know whose looking for loanees, errrr Warbs fancy taking wee kingy and givin him a game cause us jambos can gee him wan, errr, OK, train spotting fire him through to I brox on the next Death Star along wi Harrison and wee would sort him out.
Now that's what I'm talking about andydopt, it's a knee jerk, plain and simple, he was never on our radar.

Guys, guys, guys, we are aw bears and want the best for our great club, some of us ( like me) have opinions like everyone else and like to debate on here, it's healthy.
No offence to anyone but I just don't like people saying things ( Warbs) than makes him look stupid, if I notice it then surely the papers will as well and challenge him on air and make a further James hunt of himself.
To be honest I would have preferred not to bring King in and just go with what we have, we will schoosh this league.

I would hope that we pull out all the stops to get this young lad from Southampton. I can't see them selling him to Swansea he is one of the best young players on the fringes of EPL sides.
His moving to Rangers would be perfect for both clubs and would again endorse Warburton's ability to do deals South of the Border for talented players.
He should not carry the blame for our failure to secure players due to a lack of funds. We have simply been given misinformation by Dave King and that is what is causing all the frustration right now. The £30m was clearly just paper talk and you know how the media in Scotland loves a bullshitter!

I'll be honest, not a massive fan of McCoists management "skills" but I think the reason he never made a move for Allan is because he wanted Macleod to develop in that role, which was a good decision. However, if that's the case then don't sell him at the first opportunity!!
