Mail reporting that Fulham are watching Kiernan closely and the figure being tossed around is £2million, thoughts bears?

1.) 27 Dec 2016 12:05:17
Take it.

2.) 27 Dec 2016 12:09:03
Hahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahha, if only.

3.) 27 Dec 2016 12:29:07
Big early for April fools.

4.) 27 Dec 2016 12:47:25
2 million is a lot of money for someone who we got for free, but to be fair to the lad he has played decent last few months, I think if he was paired with another good CB who had some pace he would do a good enough job.

5.) 27 Dec 2016 13:23:27
It's rubbish, of course, but if it was true. bite their hand off.

6.) 27 Dec 2016 18:07:24
Dont believe it for a second but you would need your head looked at if you didn't think the club would/ should take that. on another note i think the last few games has just been papering over the cracks defensivley at least as nearly every game the opposition have missed glaring chances against us.

7.) 27 Dec 2016 18:59:47
you are a week to early on the sauce.

8.) 27 Dec 2016 22:44:08
I think that's a fair amount for him, but I wouldn't take it. I'd rather keep him. Kiernan shows continual improvement and has performed very well in the big games. Composure and solidity. Not surprising a team showing interest for that money.

9.) 28 Dec 2016 01:02:49
Why would we sell him he's been playing well now that Tav is not at R/ B he is not exposed the way he was look at our goals conceded we are as good as any team that includes Celtic not a lot in it it's goals for we have a problem with Aberdeen and Hearts have scored more and Celtic almost double so we need more goals from midfield and from strikers leave the defence alone it's doing ok.

10.) 28 Dec 2016 14:50:18
Bite their hand off. 2 million to re invest in a CH . if only lol.

11.) 28 Dec 2016 15:51:54
I can't see Warburton selling him. He is one of his favourite players and to be fair to Kiernan, he has been playing reasonably well recently. He is not a Butcher, Gough or Amoruso but then there isn't a player of that calibre in Scotland these days!

12.) 28 Dec 2016 18:36:07
He's got a bit better Tom but he's not even near a 2 mill player if we get offered close to that we should be biting there hand off for that kind of cash.

13.) 28 Dec 2016 23:59:02
after that howler tonight al drive kiernan to fulham myself.

31 Aug 2016 15:03:32
Nathan Cameron from Bury being reported by the Daily Mail, not seen much of him personally. Anyone know anything about him?

{Ed039's Note - he is huge)

1.) 31 Aug 2016 15:11:35
You shouldn't have been looking Ed! :)

{Ed039's Note - lol)

2.) 31 Aug 2016 15:14:41
Signed 2 year contract extension on 20th Aug.

3.) 31 Aug 2016 15:15:40
Looks like a lump of a boy, just what we need to throw a few opponents about instead of getting bullied.

4.) 31 Aug 2016 15:16:58
Hahah cheers Ed! Just read on ibrox noise he's a strong no nonsense centre half that would command the back line - exactly what we're missing.

5.) 31 Aug 2016 15:21:09
24, 6ft2, played over 100 games from 2013, looks like exactly what we need, big, powerful, decent in the air, i'd be esctatic if we got him.

6.) 31 Aug 2016 15:27:36
looked fantastic at coventry but career hasn't gone any further let's hope we can just get someone in lol.

7.) 31 Aug 2016 15:42:12
Watched video on CB Nathen Cameron looks a big guy lots of pace very alert reads the game and doesn't shirk out of tackles. Could get him for about 250k and coming up to 25 years of age. Could be just what we need.

8.) 31 Aug 2016 15:54:33
Saw a bit of him last season when I went to see Bury (Brother in Law played for them) .

Big lad with loads of presence. Commanding and dominant. Bury will be easy to deal with as they are desperate for money.

9.) 31 Aug 2016 16:07:11
is there any truth in us going for him ed.

{Ed039's Note - centre defence ia needing strengthening but I don't see us spending any money)

14 Jul 2016 14:44:28
Hearing rumours that Dodoo from Leicester will sign a 3 year deal before the end of the week with us paying 250k development fees. Anyone else hearing this?

1.) 14 Jul 2016 15:21:56
Yes it's true . He's at MP just now, but it's a 4 year deal.

2.) 14 Jul 2016 15:44:57
Think this would be yet another tremendous bit of business if it proves to be true!

3.) 14 Jul 2016 16:37:05
Could prove to be a real gem, here's hoping!

4.) 14 Jul 2016 17:44:11
According to Sky just now he continues to train with us.

08 Jul 2016 07:58:27
Cwood loyals latest stating we're in for Isaiah Brown from Chelsea on loan. Was out on loan at Vitesse last year and scored one goal. Strange one if true as we're not short of wingers and one goal in 24 appearances is nothing short of rotten for a CF. Might be able to kick on under the magic hat though.

1.) 08 Jul 2016 11:55:58
MW has said its unlikely there will be loan signings this season.

2.) 08 Jul 2016 23:04:57
Like all I'm looking forward to the Motherwell game in the Cup as I think Warbs will put out his strongest/ fittest team available BUT its the other two Lge cup games I'm really intruged by as I hope to see Walsh Hardie McCrorie and Thompson play amongst others over the two games. Got a feeling these will be intresting games and if we do get loans in can see Warbs using them also as we know he is not a fan of the timing of this group phase.

05 Jul 2016 15:17:30
Been hearing a few rumours that Warbs is looking to table a bid of around 600k for Sam Winnall of Barnsley when the squad return from the US. 25 years old and has a year left on his contract. Thoughts?

1.) 05 Jul 2016 15:35:30
Forgot about winnall.

2.) 05 Jul 2016 16:42:15
He is certainly prolific enough, another option would be gregory from millwall.

06 Jan 2017 14:35:29
Wish everyone on here would stop preaching about Hardie, Burt etc being the answer. They may be in the future but at the moment we need better than what we currently have and they certainly aren't that.

1.) 06 Jan 2017 15:17:29
People might be suggesting them because of our lack of finances. Personally I have no idea about there standard as I've seen very little of them.

Maybe they are worth promoting, I have no idea.

2.) 06 Jan 2017 15:34:00
Well said Rutherglen.
If there are young players that are currently good enough to blood in then brilliant but the management team clearly doesn't think this is the case so let it slide.

3.) 06 Jan 2017 16:22:16
Burt is ready to be introduced into the first team. Only the undroppables and an intransigent manager are blocking his path.

4.) 06 Jan 2017 16:53:04
Nobody on hear knows if there good enough because there not getting a chance. There will be no young players getting a chance because the manager would rather play the same old faces. Put it this way hardie are any other youth striker would score as many as garner

5.) 06 Jan 2017 17:04:29
Our team has too much youth. We need 2-3 battle hardened pros to gel everyone together. dm especially he tried last year with eustace and this year with barton if he gets his dm right the team will be a lot safer going forward. I wouldn't be surprised if we scraped enough together for diguaraga he might be the answer who knows.

6.) 06 Jan 2017 17:26:52
I'd rather have a bout of diarrhoea to be honest. Think we seem to have dodged a bullet when he went to leeds.

7.) 06 Jan 2017 17:42:24
If they are not better than Halliday then our current young midfeld players must be bad

8.) 06 Jan 2017 18:16:28
Hardie is definitely no better than the strikers we have at present. If he was then he would've been more than a bench player with St Boo and wouldn't currently be at Raith. I'm all for giving youth a shot if they're good enough but clearly the management (who see these players day in day out) don't think they're ready yet. If we were 19 points clear like that mob then I could understand bleeding the youth in but we're not.

9.) 06 Jan 2017 18:18:23
Spot on tom

10.) 06 Jan 2017 18:41:02
Rutherglen gain totally with you mate spot on

11.) 06 Jan 2017 18:55:07
Surely Burt can't be any worse than Holt who just seems to run about creating and achieving very little

12.) 06 Jan 2017 19:09:25
We were well in front last season and no youth was blooded.

13.) 06 Jan 2017 19:58:53
Exactly hooly that's my point. Last season we were in a position to do so and we never, albeit a few cameos from Burt. We've had 4 seasons to blood youth in and have done nothing about it. That was our chance, now we're in no position to do so, we missed our shot.

14.) 06 Jan 2017 22:00:04
Rutherglen bear
I agree
Soup or Ally didn't gave the kahoonis tae give the young guys a run when the league was one going for an unbeatable season great player but a disaster as a manager!

15.) 07 Jan 2017 11:05:42
We have the 2nd oldest squad in the league, how can that be too much youth

16.) 07 Jan 2017 16:08:20
Before commenting on the garner vs hardie debate i would like to have seen the lad have a run in the team to see what he can do

I know most will say Warbs watches him train and doesn't think he's good enough, but does anyone honestly think if hardie played 18games for us he'd only have scored 3?

Also attacking mid as cover for niko is important, but if rossiter's injury is serious, we need a strong def mid asap as we don't dominate the middle of the park enough with holt and halliday. Pleased to see windass making progress - he had cple great passes on 31st which cut their defence open hopefully he can get an injury free run and establish himself

02 Nov 2016 14:03:23
Quick question bears.
How easy do you think it'll be to get tickets for our friendly in leipzig? Had already booked Berlin for those dates with a few mates and now looking to travel through for the game.

1.) 02 Nov 2016 14:29:37
Should be easy enough to get tickets rutherglen but contact ticket centre now for full details, . should be a decent game too.

22 Sep 2016 12:33:20
Apparently the sheep are planning a minutes applause to mark the "first visit of Rangers". Nothing I'd love more than to put a few past them and shut them up. !

1.) 22 Sep 2016 14:11:02
I would love it, if we scored 11mins 55secs, would they still applaud on the 12th minute lol.

2.) 22 Sep 2016 13:07:19
Yeah they're handing out posters asking all fans to stand and applause in the 12th minute in memory of Rangers. Which I honestly reckon is hilarious. If we aren't the same club as they claim to believe. Why applause the life of a club they claim has nothing to do with us when we play them? All this attention on us from other clubs, especially septic, only reinforces the truth that we ARE the same club.

3.) 22 Sep 2016 13:40:53
can't you bears take a bit of baaaas nter.

4.) 22 Sep 2016 14:43:16
Won't make a difference.

We'll be 2-0 up come the 12th minute.

Doesn't send out a strong message when your crowd are applauding whilst the team is getting completely outplayed on the park.

5.) 22 Sep 2016 15:12:10
When did we ever take the sheep seriously? 3 or 4 decent seasons in the early 80s is their claim to fame. In 113 years they have won a massive 4 league titles. New club or not, I'll take a bet we get to 5 before they do. Let them have a wee laugh, can't be much fun in Aberdoom.

6.) 22 Sep 2016 16:45:32
once we totally embarrass them then we should applaud them for 4 mins.

7.) 22 Sep 2016 17:45:33
The oils drying up and Rangers are coming! Never a worse time to be a sheep-fancier!

8.) 22 Sep 2016 15:52:49
Imnoboyscout, how can we be bears if we are a new team? Hmmmm
And if we are a new team why are so many Celtic fans on here. and if we aren't your biggest rivals as so many of you claim, why are you spending all your time on here and not on the Aberdeen, hearts and st Johnston pages.
Oh yes, it's because you're obsessed!
"You just can't get enough" of the most successful team on the planet haha.

9.) 22 Sep 2016 16:44:57
we will get to our #55 before they come second again lol.

10.) 22 Sep 2016 16:52:42

I can't believe you are even entertaining 'a new club' p! sh! We hit 5 decades ago.

If we were a new club how come everyone still hates us? A new club couldn't possible have so many enemies, considering we have only just arrived in the Premier League too.

11.) 22 Sep 2016 16:58:26
11th minute start singing your only sheep-shaggin bast*rds, sheep-shaggin bast*rds, don't think they'll clap then lol but seriously 3-0 on sunday, miller, waghorn and forrester to score.

12.) 22 Sep 2016 18:03:47
If the sheep see fit to ram you,
Will you on monday morning feel like little lambs, who are about to become kebabs, ready to be consumed by all above you in the spfl food chain.

13.) 22 Sep 2016 19:03:14
We'll win five titles before they win another one. Thought it was pretty straight forward.

14.) 22 Sep 2016 20:48:10
Devil's advocate- the argument about 'why' could simply be that whilst it's a new team, it's the same fans.

15.) 22 Sep 2016 21:31:41
In that case tpp, we have only had 2 clubs to Celtic's 3, They beat us there.

16.) 22 Sep 2016 21:45:20
You don't even believe that, that's what makes it so sad.

17.) 22 Sep 2016 13:01:22
Not sure how spl/ sfa/ police think that there won't be major trouble with pathetic proactive action like this.

This whole old club / New club debate is a debate amongst idiots.

Just makes me want to beat them even more, need to play much better than we have done so far this season. Good opportunity to make up for the non performance in old firm game.

18.) 22 Sep 2016 23:26:20
Let them do what they want. Let's do our talking on the park, another 5-0 result to us would do me the world of good but I would settle for us scoring one more than them.

19.) 23 Sep 2016 07:05:35
I would like them to start their minutes applause and for us to score seconds into it. Just like Ricksen silenced You'll Never Walk Alone haha. See if they keep applauding then.

20.) 23 Sep 2016 17:13:07
Rutherglenbear, and all other bears, we are going to have to put up with this guff for years, let's all stand as one, boycott all away games for a season or two, then see how they get on, let's make a stand against all the bias press, let them see how they get without the blue pound, back to empty stadiums, there crowds will tumble as we haveseen these last few years, we have shown that we don't need them, let's see how much they miss us.

31 Aug 2016 08:53:12
Just me who hopes Senderos doesn't join after what's been said over the last day? Hope the magic hat has something going on behind the scenes as it seems to me that Senderos is holding off for more money elsewhere.

1.) 31 Aug 2016 09:04:00
Can you blame him? To be fair we have fair messd him about.

2.) 31 Aug 2016 09:18:45
Senderos is a player without any sort of contract and can be signed after the window closes. that's why the focus has not been placed on his signing for Rangers at the moment. They will be working on making loan signings then focus on Senderos. He will sign.

3.) 31 Aug 2016 09:26:24
I think Gers won't be doing any more business today. If that's the case, I will lose a little bit of respect for MW and staff. Everyone and their granny could see where we needed to strengthen, including opposing teams. But we've wasted our summer and while we've strengthened, our foundations are still crumbling. Maybe the season was never about challenging for the title after all. All I can do now is support the staff and players and lower my expectations.

4.) 31 Aug 2016 09:29:50
It's quite obvious he's not our first choice, if he was he would've been signed up by now so you'd imagine warbs has something in the pipeline. Even still we've let him use our training facilities for the last few weeks so to come out and say he's holding off for a better deal elsewhere is a bit off in my mind.

5.) 31 Aug 2016 10:28:24
I would have been happy going into this season having only signed a couple of CBs.

19 Aug 2016 13:14:02
Official story goes that Lescott not joining due to "family reasons". Some family he has letting him fly up to Glasgow for a medical before telling him they have an issue. I smell BS, BBC and STV both reporting he failed his medical.

1.) 19 Aug 2016 13:41:56
if it was family reasons he wouldn't have even entertained the idea.
imo its because he is old with bad legs and would make clint hill look like usain bolt.

2.) 19 Aug 2016 13:50:18
The official story is he failed the medical.

3.) 19 Aug 2016 14:19:43
Perhaps his family want him to move to Sunderland?

4.) 19 Aug 2016 14:31:09
If he signs for Sunderland in the next few days we will know that the medical story is bollocks as well. My guess is Sunderland are offering more cash.

Not many PL clubs will be willing to gamble with him atm, especially with the money they'd have to pay in development fees. IF, and it's a big IF, we were to land him it would be similar to Celtics deal with Dembele. We'd give Berahino a stage to rekindle his career, he'd sign for 500k development fees and we'd offer him a % of the fee we receive for him when he inevitably moves back down south. It's surely a win win for both parties.

I'm not saying he is coming but he's on 20k per week at West Brom and not wanting to stay there at all. As much as it's highly unprobable; it is still possible.

The difference is Nic that this guy by the sounds of it could come in and make a positive impact straight away, Crooks hasn't kicked his own @rse since he joined us and clearly the management don't think Burt can IMPROVE the first team quite yet.

If you've watched every minute of every game then you must've been watching them all through blue tinted glasses i'm afraid. Halliday a passenger in most games this season and seems unable to string together a run of 3 or more succesful passes. Defensive Mid is a MUST. Been given a free pass by many up until recently for being a die hard. Kissing the badge shouldn't guarantee you a place in the team.

Got 3-1 Garner first scorer at 70/ 1 on Williamhill, where'd you put that on onlyshow?!
