Seen a few whoppers but that's a peach 👆🏼

2.) 07 Jan 2017 20:02:20
Well bang goes closing the gap! My understanding is toral will be loan in January for rest of this season, not a done deal for summer!?

3.) 07 Jan 2017 20:04:11
Nonsense

3 Defenders out and none in?

3 more forwards signed. I know it's a rumour site, but this is beyond unbelievable

4.) 07 Jan 2017 20:36:31
I think someone has found the keys to the Asylum and escaped!

Wagorn, Kiernan, Tav, Senderos, kranjkar, Gilks, and MOH, all leaving, especially the injured Kranjkar and no defenders or quality midfielders signed!
Scruff like Cummings, failures like Scott Allan, the injury prone Lewis McLeod, I have to believe that we as a club have more ambition that to sign this level of player

5.) 07 Jan 2017 21:43:20
ive heard that Troal will be till summer, with option of a 3 year contract, Also seeking out pre contract with Zelalem, 2 heading up from north london 1 from each club both defenders.

6.) 08 Jan 2017 05:49:16
Zelalem is being touted for a move to Dortmund. He won't be coming our way

Why are we allowing the kid Gilmore got to Chelsea? He should be promoted to the first team squad and given a pay rise. He wouldn't be the first 15 year old to play first team football at Rangers.

While we are on the subject, Rangers should also start bringing in some of these promising kids they have been scouting. Knox at Livingston, Gallagher at Falkirk and Nicholson at Hearts could all be brought in at minimal outlay and would be first team squad ready with bags of scope for development. Much less risky than forking out over £1m for Garner.

SantaCruz79

1.) 29 Jan 2017 16:32:55
I haven't seen anywhere that Gilmore is going to Chelsea and I suspect that the reason why we have not gone for these players is that we don't have the money. Only David King and his co-Directors can answer this question!

2.) 29 Jan 2017 16:34:20
Who said we are allowing Gilmour go he's 15 we can't offer him a contract until he's 16, he's been promoted to the u20s, trained with the first team last week. He's not ready for first team action. We have done everything we can to show him he has a future with us its down to him to decide.

As for Knox and Gallagher we'll just have to wait and see

3.) 29 Jan 2017 16:45:43
So we should not put 15 year old kids on the park to stop them accepting financial security with Chelsea?

Get real, kids won't improve our team and no kid in their right mind can afford to turn down Chelsea's big money. it's the real world whether we like it or not.

4.) 29 Jan 2017 16:49:43
He might be a quality player but if he played against some of the senior lads his legs would be taken away and his development would be stunted.

Knox is happy where he is, Nicholson is a possibility in the summer as cathro says he is just getting to know the lad and Barcelona and Manchester United are also looking at the lad Gallagher.

The only likely signing for us is Nicholson.

5.) 29 Jan 2017 18:24:56
He can't play for the first team until he is 16 he hasn't got a proffesional contract.

6.) 29 Jan 2017 20:42:46
He's small for a 15 year old as well, really small

23 Dec 2016 09:32:05
I'm no football scout and I don't play FIFA or football manager so don't have an in depth knowledge of what players are out there and are within Rangers budget but I think we should target the following areas:

1. Attacking midfielder
2. Defensive midfielder
3. Central defender

Any suggestions for these areas who could do a job, understand what playing for Rangers is all about and can hit the ground running?

SantaCruz79

1.) 23 Dec 2016 09:59:44
Henry Lansbury - good attacking midfielder and has a bit of bite about him

Ryan Tunnicliffe - CDM with a similar mild to rossiter (Think we'll be fine if Rossiter can stay fit! )

Sol Bamba - Looks like he's on the way out of his club, he's big and robust and scores goals from set pieces.

2.) 23 Dec 2016 10:15:19
Lansbury from Forrest, agree he would be ideal. Is he a realistic target for us? How much would he cost?
What about Conor Hourihane? I read we were after him, is he any good?

Totally forgot about Rossiter (understandably) when is he due to be first team fit?

3.) 23 Dec 2016 10:41:09
Lansbury is yet to sign a contract extension so would be available on a pre.

Hourihane would be good but he tends to play deeper if we're after an attacking midfielder. Going to have to beat celtic to him as well.

Who knows with Rossiter, could be a few weeks, could be a few months!

Think we might nab a few big signings on pre contracts, a free transfer in Jota and maybe a couple of loans in January.

4.) 23 Dec 2016 11:02:41
he was due back in the team 5 weeks ago and 3 weeks ago and now nobody knows.

5.) 23 Dec 2016 18:07:02
John souttar.

6.) 24 Dec 2016 06:53:53
Do you not think having only scored 25 goals in 18 league games that we need a striker?

18 Dec 2016 08:56:35
We should look at bringing John Fleck back to play holding midfield. Good age and loads of experience. Before everybody starts with the stuff about him leaving for nothing the first time. He was out on loan at the time and Rangers allowed him to leave as long as they got a sell on clause inserted into his Coventry contract.

Also would like us to look at James MacArthur think his contract expires this summer

Both experienced central midfielders both blue noses!

SantaCruz79

1.) 19 Dec 2016 13:52:50
john fleck barry McKay and greg wylde all of these young players i'd have in my team . maybe not starting but definitely in my team.

2.) 19 Dec 2016 13:54:04
james mcarthur will never come back up here he is worth too much money and wages.

3.) 19 Dec 2016 15:18:27
Would be good if he did though.

First priority has to be a centre half. I have a feeling that the Marriapa deal is not dead however if it is could we get Wes Brown? Dom Balls name also keeps popping up but I think we need someone with more experience.

Up front seems to be proving difficult to recruit for. I would like to see them sign Stewart from Dundee on a pre contract in Jan. in the imitate future I think a loan deal for the season appears to be our best bet of bringing in a quality addition.

SantaCruz79

1.) 09 Aug 2016 12:28:52
Marriappa would have happened by now if it was going to and don't get me started on ball. average at best and couldn't split the 2 dumplings that wer at centre half.

3.) 09 Aug 2016 13:32:08
Dom ball is at the same level as Kiernan and Wilson- and couldn't break up their pairing in championship.

He isn't the answer.

4.) 09 Aug 2016 08:25:02
Agree with your post your just saying what every Rangers fan is thinking been reading a lot about Dave kind and a lot of very disbelieving rangers fans about promises not kept by Dave King.
I just want everything to click a few players in us to stay afloat and us to mount a challenge against Aberdeen hearts and celtic but it's not always as easy as that.
Who nos what's going on up stairs at ibrox and on the pitch we are lacking fitness defenders and a top striker.
All we can do as fans is get behind the players we have and hope the board keep up there end and run the club the way in ment to be run. This Peterhead game mite a blessing take the pressure off and we could score afew and find a new cf in dodoo till we bring in sumone

I'm putting a fiver on a dodoo hat trick.

Faissal El Bakhtaoui is out of contract and training with Blackburn. He's 23 and had a decent strike rate at Dunfermline. Should we invite him to train/ trail at Rangers?

SantaCruz79

1.) 19 Jul 2016 01:03:39
Could do worse.

2.) 19 Jul 2016 01:22:14
A decent strike rate in the 3rd tier is not what we should be looking at. Remember Dr Goals Kenny Deuchar who played for Gretna. Banged them in all the way up but couldn't prescribe a goal in the spl.

3.) 19 Jul 2016 07:32:36
I mentioned him in the last window. Really think he could add something.

4.) 19 Jul 2016 07:34:07
I would sign him lol.

We are Rangers and our ambition should always be to win the title. Going for 55? Absolutely, and don't let them bother you!

Heard about this a few weeks ago. BM enters the last year of his contract in the summer and has indicated he would like to move on. Rangers are therefore looking to move him on now to get a decent fee (£6m + add ons seems like a good deal to me)
Also heard Rangers have earmarked Nicholson from Hearts as his replacement (pre-contract) .

Agree but need a few quality additions to take us from a team better than hearts and Aberdeen to the next level to actually challange that lot.

Yes sign Nicholson on a pre contract. Good prospect and a goal scoring attacking midfielder, would fit into our system very well.

Liquidation of the oldco at that time was required to protect the football club.

Now that the truth is all unravelling I think it would be a good gesture to use the money coming in from the court cases to pay creditors 60-100p on the pound, take the old company out of liquidation and reunite the club with the old company.

Everyone's a winner, it makes sense and draws a line under the years of sabotage under the running of Loyds bank, Craig White, Charles Green and all the other corporate vandals who tried to take advantage of the "big tax case" which was hanging over us at the time.

55 is coming

I thought we should have went for the Scotland International, Gordon Greer instead of Senderos last summer.
Think he might be available again this summer having only signed a one year deal with Blackburn.

Goodwillie will be available on a Free next summer and at 26 is at a good age. Could MW mould him into the player his early potential suggested he would become? Available for free it would be worth a gamble.

Sam Nicholson at Hearts looks decent, only 20 and could also be slotted into the the system.

Jack Harper? Served a hard apprenticeship at Real Madrid currently at Brighton but a move to Rangers may bring out the best in him (heard he is a bluenose).

Will Rangers FC be entitled to any compensation if white, Green, etc are found guilty of fraud?
Between the dodgy purchase and the missing £70m, if we were entitled to compensation surely it would run into the tens of millions?

Get him in now on a long term deal, even at that price he would be bargain.
