Team: Rangers

Where from: Tranent

Favourite player: Gazza

Best team moment: The 1990–91 season was the 94th season of competitive football in Scotland. It was notable for the fact that there was a last day title decider at Ibrox between Rangers and Aberdeen. Both teams went into the match level on points and goal difference, but Rangers needed to win the match because Aberdeen had scored two goals more. Rangers won the title with a 2–0 win thanks to two goals by Mark Hateley.

Timezone: (GMT) Western Europe Time, London, Lisbon, Casablanca

The Championship strugglers are looking to add some firepower and have made contact with Rangers in a bid to get Nicky Clark in on loan for the rest of the season.
Daily Rag.

What 'Championship strugglers Simpson69?

2.) 01 Feb 2016 20:54:46

Stevie May in contract discussions with Rangers this week about a move there, could be done by Friday (various sources)

1.) 10 Aug 2015 20:24:41
Only want stevie may if it not on loan and gets a haircut lol.no point getting a loan player if so give hardie a chance.hardie looks descent so give him a few games c what he comes up with

2.) 11 Aug 2015 00:15:06
Gives us another really good option that offers something different, waghorn is good at link up play and is better out on the right, Miller is more effective on the left as we've seen him score a few from running in at the back post, Clark is never going to do it now imo and hardie isn't fully ready yet

3.) 11 Aug 2015 11:09:42
There are no recent media references that RFC are interested in or are in discussion with SM.

All references are at least a month old.

4.) 11 Aug 2015 12:32:16
way better than barrie mckay any day we NEED somebody of this quality scores 20 odd in the premiership who knows what he can score in the championship?!

Dave King says Rangers will end relationship with Sports Direct - STV.

1.) 04 Feb 2016 19:54:15
Only got 7 years to wait then. Unless they can come to some agreement, highly unlikely with the characters involved.

2.) 04 Feb 2016 21:36:37
7 years and we will be free. It will fly in. The Newcastle fans should come up to Glasgow and learn how to get one over on Cashley. Our fans based shop will get stronger . l have always admired this. There were people on here mocking it. Well done all.

3.) 04 Feb 2016 21:01:22
Great to see DK and the board making a real stand against that person, I realise it really could take 7 years to get shot of him for good, although it may be interesting to see how White, Green and Co get on at court and how legal the "deal" they did together is deemed.

4.) 04 Feb 2016 22:37:12
Everyone should get behind the fan based shop for next season buy a replica top and avoid next season new strip. Buying the official strip will just line MA pockets. Buy from fan based shop areplica shirt and let them give money to the club.

5.) 05 Feb 2016 06:07:09
Business deals have to be reasonable to both sides. Any which way you look at it, a 7 year cancellation period is mind boggling and you've got to wonder what the hell was going on in the minds of those representing Rangers' interests. Sounds more like a negotiated jail sentence.

6.) 05 Feb 2016 07:48:52
Deals with the Fatman from sports direct are from 2012 to 2019 . Maybe scrapped depending on court cases with mr green and co they find any fraud in those deals chance could be dissolved.

7.) 05 Feb 2016 08:36:07
Let's hope the deal gets scraped after the court case as it will be a long 7 years with this kit agreement and its badly hampering any area which should be making the club millions.

8.) 05 Feb 2016 13:57:28
There is a chance of challenging it in court, after all Ashley used the loan as leverage to control the board place his own men on it who then handed him the deal. Lambias could end up liable as directors have by law to work in the interests of all shareholders, which this is clearly not.

On the other side the laws of this land are to protect the privileged not the poor.

9.) 05 Feb 2016 15:42:03
It was Green that gave Ashley the merchandise deal, luigi.
You're getting mixed up with the 5 million loan that was secured against Auchenhowie the Albion carpark and the badges etc.

Not to say we won't or have not but i feel we need too be looking at cover for the right back and defensive midfield positions, John Souttar imo would be a great choice, and before people say anything about utds poor defence and cannot get in the team he was dropped for not signing a contract.

1.) 29 Jan 2016 21:16:12
I was thinking the same thing about RB then remembered Sinnamon is back from his loan at Falkirk. Probably why Aird has been allowed to leave but he was never a RB anyway.

2.) 29 Jan 2016 21:31:52
Sinnamon might seem a wee bit to dangerous to play in the first team especially with the run in, I do think though that we need to get the young lads playing, but the run in for the title might not be the right time to bleed him in, I think Dom Ball is going to be a big player for us in the run in now, he will probably fill in for AH tomorrow, if Tav or any in defence was feeling it, he's the automatic selection.

The young guns r getting tested in the Academy well anyway, if he was going to get a start it should have been when we were 4 n 5 up earlier in the season. ! Can't wait for KO tomorrow. Like a cat on a bit of corrugated iron!

3.) 30 Jan 2016 09:34:51
How can he get a start if we are 4 n 5 up?

The Gers have rented Recreation Park so they can train & get used to the artificial surface for the game next Sunday.

1.) 08 Aug 2015 19:41:07
I'm sure they have an artificial pitch at Murray park

2.) 08 Aug 2015 20:40:11
Yip Robbie there is a artificial pitch at the youth side in murray park

3.) 08 Aug 2015 21:02:25
We do but the one at Alloa is worse than that a Murray park. So players need to get used to the poorer surface.

4.) 08 Aug 2015 21:58:55
yes there is an artifical pitch at murray park ould be surprised if they rent one at alloa

5.) 08 Aug 2015 22:54:26
I think It's because recreation park is only 3G but most modern versions are 4G

6.) 09 Aug 2015 08:43:29
Well the one at Auchenhowie will be 1G then!

7.) 09 Aug 2015 08:45:30
I think I heard one of the bt sport people say we had rented Alloa's park as it was poor in relation to the one at Murray Park. Sounds like a plan to me. Looks like W&W are leaving nothing to chance. Everything about them, from the way the team is set up from the type of players in the squad to our dealings with the media has been all about professionalism. And I think Mark Hateley was spot on when he said the squad is a lot fitter than last year's. Whatever training regime they have in place, it's certainly working. Sorry Walter, you are a legend, but you were wrong to try and defend your buddy

8.) 09 Aug 2015 09:51:09
bluebirds your right much as it pains me walter is wrong the the squad is far fitter this season

9.) 09 Aug 2015 11:28:50
Dont think you can start to talk about fitness at this stage of the season. The difference for me is not fitness but style of play. Its quicker, with much more movement. Because of this I think the lads look fitter. But for me the problems of Allys team were tactics, style of play and the pace in which they played. I don't think they lacked fitness.

Warburton has a completely different style of football.

10.) 09 Aug 2015 12:28:23
I hope Alloa got the rent money up front.

Lewis McLeod = too many injuries since he left us, Peter Pawlett good shout RFC111 but i would prefer Rooney and as for a Defender what about the young guy from utd John Souttar.
