Might not get a lot of people agreeing with me here but on this seasons form big Wes has been worse than average, first goal yesterday wasn't even near being in the corner yet he gets nowhere near it. it's always the same he concedes more than he saves.

Tommy wes has not convinced me from day one, sure he can make the odd good save but he has major flaws the main one for me is he's a poor communicator who can't command his box

2.) 16 Apr 2018 18:00:06
pish we’d be nowhere near 2nd if it wasn’t for some of his performances

3.) 16 Apr 2018 18:08:03
Better keepers our there. Shot stopper that's about it. Would gladly sell him. Yes has his moments but never been that impressed.

4.) 16 Apr 2018 18:44:39
totally agree tommy we have always been blessed with world class keepers wes never rangers class couldn't catch a cold

5.) 16 Apr 2018 18:50:25
We need to get rid of Fod in the summer he, s worse than average, his distribution/ communication is absolutely woeful, a lot of his performances especially against Celtic have been terrible. If we, d had a decent Manager he would have rid of him already, we need to buy a Top class keeper end of story!

6.) 16 Apr 2018 19:11:55
First and foremost we need to pay top dollar, for a top class manager,
end of story!

7.) 16 Apr 2018 19:27:58
Would happily let him try and pursue his dream of playing for England by leaving us. Bang average keeper who has no chance of playing for England

8.) 17 Apr 2018 08:22:56
Fod n tav have been head and shoulders above the rest this season in fact fod has been great the last 2 years there's a lot of positions Inc the management one that are more important than a new keeper

Worlds still turning people, that was a doing and a half we got yesterday and we can only hope that this was our Ronnie Delia moment. The board must do right by the fans this time and appoint a more experienced Manager, My two options I would like to see are firstly Neil Warnock and if we fail to land him we should go for Steve Clarke.

Hopefully we can still finish 2nd and put this season behind us.

Tommy1981

1.) 16 Apr 2018 08:32:02
Go away and both never rangers class

2.) 16 Apr 2018 09:15:51
Tommy your right. Experienced manager 1st of all then get the deadwood out the club. In my opinion Murty back to coaching, Jimmy and jj move on not sure what they have brought to club.

But finishing the remaining games and getting 2nd should be a must.
The players owe the fans this after their pathetic and gutless showing yesterday.
Blood sweat and tears must be given when you represent Rangers and this has not been shown by the players this season. Far too many times we have let teams take points of us with little fight.

The players embarrassed themselves yesterday and the club and should be ashamed they did that to our great support.
I said a few times yesterday that weeks wages to a charity would be a start. I'd be cancelling days off until these players understand how privileged they are.
The so called rangers fans in the team need to wise up cause when new manager comes doubt that will buy you anything this time round.

We are at a massive cross roads and hopefully Dave King understands we are fed up and are now demanding better.

3.) 16 Apr 2018 11:37:22
Jjkgers we are at a crossroads but dodgy Dave will come out with the same old stuff. Probably mention a kit deal, make more promises he doesn't keep. Can't imagine he'll take any responsibility for any of the problems. I just think he's one of our main problems

4.) 16 Apr 2018 11:43:24
Think Murty needs to step down today. Halliday, Martin and Candeias shouldn’t play again for the club and Morelos must be sold in the summer. I wouldn’t keep any of the loan signings and you could look to try and get rid of about a dozen players. Another Manager another clearout and a new season where we have to start again.

5.) 16 Apr 2018 11:44:27
South side what is Rangers class? And more importantly don’t slap down others opinions and ideas if you have nothing to add.
My opinion means not a jot but I doubt we can turn our nose up at managers who have been doing well over a period of time and Warnock definitely falls into that category.

6.) 16 Apr 2018 11:55:50
Blueberry he proberly is part of it but players are on the park. Yesterday was shocking. We were humiliated by celtic. Yes Murty in charge but players these days get away with not performing, all the time. What we the fans would give to play in an old firm match compared to these pretenders.

7.) 16 Apr 2018 13:01:10
Warnock gets his teams organised and up for a fight something we've not had in years

8.) 16 Apr 2018 13:43:56
Warnock wouldn't take a team up the EPL then just walk away to manage in the SPL. Not in a million years so get real

9.) 16 Apr 2018 14:00:26
warnock also stated that he doesn't want to manage a club in the EPL so make of that what you want

10.) 16 Apr 2018 17:18:18
MikeGer you are probably correct in what you say although Rabc is correct also as Warnock has stated he doesn’t like the EPL end of so time will tell if Cardiff go up, anyway it’s all good debating on here we got to hope that they are on the case at Ibrox.

15 Apr 2018 10:20:57
Semi final day bears/ bearettes hope we all have a reason to celebrate come full time but if we don't just remember to stay safe as the world will still be rotating tomorrow:) .
Oh and by the way I got 4/ 1 on Rangers inside 90 minutes so it's probably only us bears that believe we can do it.

What's everybody's thoughts on a potential 4th place finish? Even if we were to win Scottish cup I believe Murty is not the man to take us forward, problem we have is we can't afford a decent manager and unless we find some fight between now and end of season it's going to get worse.

Tommy1981

1.) 04 Apr 2018 12:05:53
For me its time for this board to wakeing up there failure to get a new manager in place when pedro left could end up costing us european qualification this summer.
Murty will definately not get the job in the summer and i think he already nos he will not be in charge.
We have to aim higher than a youth coach or any manager currently in scottish leauge get this decsion wrong then we are in big trouble.
If we can afford to give pena herrera alves kranjcar all high wages then they should be shipped out and use the wage for a new manager

2.) 04 Apr 2018 12:24:30
You can see from the posts that lots of us are feeling down after taking 1 point out of 9. I wasn't alone in thinking we were in a title race if we beat Celtic and although I got the usual abuse of being delusional by the expected here, we were building momentum and playing good football. Now maybe too much despondency in the other direction. McCrorie's back and a chance for someone to take Windass's position, maybe Cummings, Goss gets his form back after the Celtic no show and who knows, we start producing performances again and clinch second place. One thing I agree on is that there needs to be a clear out of around 10 players this summer. Either past it or just not good enough to play for Rangers.

3.) 04 Apr 2018 13:24:52
Don't know why Rangers aren't playing Kenny Miller aye morelos is our top goal scorer but Miller carried us last season and he's definitely still our best striker in the club.

4.) 04 Apr 2018 13:29:25
Kfraser there is to many ifs and buts in this statement we clearly have not been good enough recently and waiting on goss morelos ect to hit form mite not happen same with someone taking windass postion like cummings they mite not play well either.
to be honest i think we are now going to strugle to finish 2 we are more than likeley to drop more points once split comes around just can't see us winning our remaining games of season

5.) 04 Apr 2018 17:32:13
The Pedro debacle has wasted at least a year, I would not be disappointed if they considered the likes of Stevie Clarke and having Jack Ross as his number 2 with a view to him being the manager in a couple of years. I know Mr Ross is a manager but maybe the chance to get the reins at Ibrox would be a big enough carrot.

Fellow bears with hand on heart after the last 6 years of madness does anyone else always have that nagging doubt creeping in before a big game? .
I know I do, I hope we batter that lot on Sunday it would mean the world to me but these days I always have that in the back of my mind.
To be fair to Murty he is helping to get rid of that and we are starting to instill the fear factor again.
Don't want to be sounding negative I just want fellow bears opinions if they feel the same or not. cheers.

Tommy1981

1.) 06 Mar 2018 12:21:37
I'm a pessimist by nature Tommy so I share your fears. We've lost some really soft goals since the turn of the year but we are also better going forward than we've been for years. So more grounds for optimism than for a long, long time and maybe that's part of the issue for me. I'm so desperate for this to be when we finally show we're well and truly back and if we don't win it'll be that much more devastating. As they say it's the hope that kills you. So c'mon Gers show that this is no"false dawn"!

2.) 06 Mar 2018 13:01:59
Im the same mate, i am more confident about scoring in games now though, i also know that murphy and docherty will be so fired up more so than the rest of the team and that gives me hope get docherty on brown if he wins that battle i think we'll win, we have to start well

3.) 06 Mar 2018 14:28:08
As always the engine room is vital still think we need a wee bit more in there with doc and Goss being youngsters! Both good players but can't help but feel they might get bullied

4.) 06 Mar 2018 15:32:56
Have faith Tommy if it’s not Sunday it will be soon, they are on the decline and we are on the up, at some point we will meet in the middle and it may be sooner than there arrogant supporters think. If they invest heavily in the summer then it may be longer but we need to put one on them on Sunday and I’m confident we have the fire power and the heart now. Make no mistake, we have bears in the team and they will infect and drag all the others along with them in this battle, don’t fear defeat here guys, relish the battle!

5.) 06 Mar 2018 15:37:07
We need a massive game from Tav and candeias, get Tierney on the back foot, for me we are in much better attacking form and the only guy I’ve actually not fancied playing in these games recently is Griffiths so if he is out then that’s a boost for us IMO. Don’t know much about Edouard but fancy he’ll be dangerous best way to go in this one is fight fire with fire and take our chances when they come!

6.) 06 Mar 2018 15:44:18
cant wait for Sunday we have been on a great run but we are not back to being the rangers we all love till we beat the unwashed and have a real chance to do it at Buckingham stadium hope the lads grab it with both hands and smash this mob they are there for the taking c'mon the gers

7.) 06 Mar 2018 16:18:40
Any one know how bounce game went against St. Mirren and who played?

8.) 06 Mar 2018 16:45:56
Finished 1-1 with MOH getting our goal - Wallace played 90 mins - game time for cardoso, dodoo, kranjcar

9.) 07 Mar 2018 15:44:42
A defeat won't spell a 'false dawn' Liverpool Ger, no matter what the result is on Sunday we all KNOW we are making great progress and will continue to do so. Just think back to where we were less than six months ago to where we are now. I'm praying as hard as anybody for a victory here, but I won't despair or criticise the manager or players if it doesn't happen. Onwards and upwards, and next season we will have our 55th title and put an end to their 10 in a row crap. No Surrender!

I am struggling to establish who I would like to see as our next boss, although Deboer played for us is it the right route to go down at this present time, don’t we need an immediate impact manager to halt the eastenders on there route to 10 in a row? I think Deboer would be better suited to come in without the stress of a potential 10 in a row and be able to build his football philosophy from grass roots right through.
