It was great to see Mayo, Paterson and McCrorie get their chance against Lyon. Each of them played well and over time will have bright futures. I just hope that Kennedy hasn't burned his bridges and has a way back to show what he can offer for Rangers.

Viewpark_Loyal?

A lot Rangers, cfc footballing greats come from your neck of the woods, and for other teams as well - great footballing area, so it is.

True blue I work with the son of one of those players.
Jimmy Johnstone son he is a great guy tho he has moved from viewpark now.

I was friendly with hood a few years back, and I know John Hughes, although I certainly wouldn’t call him a nice guy, I also come from a place with a great history, possil, and springburn, from dalglish to mcdougall, charnley to flecks, and I’m proud to say I played with a lot of them,

In memory of Bill Struth becoming Rangers manager 100 years ago. What a man and leader. 👏.

Are there any ex-Rangers players that are still playing that you would take back?

WATP68

1.) 11 Jun 2020 05:50:03
John fleck.

2.) 11 Jun 2020 05:56:24
Candeias!

3.) 11 Jun 2020 07:30:46
John fleck, but unfortunately atm we wouldn't be able to afford him.

4.) 11 Jun 2020 16:48:05
Davie Robertson as manager!

10 Jun 2020 17:14:25
I like Ryan Jack but he is injury prone and we need a leader in this position. A midfielder who is a good tackler with a good engine that can link play and is a leader when things aren’t going our way. A Gattuso type player. Any ideas? Are any of our development squad up to the mark? Or what about players that might be within our budget like Ryan Gravenberch, Florentino Luis, Eduardo Camavinga or Lucas Silva?

WATP68

1.) 10 Jun 2020 17:35:30
Ross McCrorie.

2.) 10 Jun 2020 17:45:15
Hardly injury prone. Played 38 games this season.

3.) 10 Jun 2020 19:34:25
In our price range 68? You have just quoted some of the hottest prospects in world football.

I think you should try and stay off the championship manager whilst in lockdown.

4.) 10 Jun 2020 20:18:42
Somebody has definitely been playing football manager zikos! 😁.

5.) 11 Jun 2020 07:36:52
68,ryan Jack has played in the majority of our games in that season there. Don't know what you're on about pal? 🤔.

Do you think that Gerrard will have learned his lesson and be open to using different systems depending on the opposition and how they are set up?
For example to counter a deep block.

1.) 09 Jun 2020 09:55:41
We can only hope cause this is a huge season now to stop 10. 4-3-3 doesn't work in every game as we saw in the 2nd half of last season.

2.) 09 Jun 2020 10:42:37
I want to see two up front. More to think about for teams that park the bus.

3.) 09 Jun 2020 11:09:31
If Gerrard hasn't learned lessons then it will be 10iar and he'll be out of a job. 👍.

4.) 09 Jun 2020 16:04:22
If he hasn't leaned lessons, it will only be 9 3/ 4 in a row, but yes ah see what your getting at.

5.) 09 Jun 2020 16:00:48
Gerrard might be out of a job but show me the workings out it would be 10 in a row. Its an impossibility 👍.

6.) 09 Jun 2020 17:13:29
Because they have 9 so plus 1 equals 10🤷‍♂️👍.

7.) 09 Jun 2020 20:43:34
They have won eight and awarded one not won nine.
If you honestly think being awarded a title when it wasn't impossible to be caught and in the underhand way it was done is acceptable then fine your not the only one on here who thinks it was a deserved title.

It doesn't matter we were playing crap, we were still in the race.
I never heard the Fat lady sing.
If we started up next week playing behind closed doors anything could happen playing Celtic in an empty Parkhead.

I bet you they will manage to get the Scottish cup played.
Do you think wee buzz and the buzzets would be saying they've won 9 get on with if the shoe was on the other foot, especially in the way it was done.
Whatever Happened To The Cry Of No Surrender.

8.) 10 Jun 2020 00:54:46
We weren't in the race👍.

9.) 10 Jun 2020 15:54:37
I'll rephrase that for you.
The Race Wasn't Finished Yet.

Nobody knows what would have happened if they waited like England did.
Three games - Celtic home and away St Johnstone home 3 wins the pressures on, but you are going to tell us we would be lucky to get 3 points from those 3 games and that's guess work.

You are calling it 9 in a row on guess work.
I had 2 fifty pound bets with Celtic at work start of the season and they weren't interested in asking me for money (they wouldn't have got it anyway) The bookies are refunding Rangers bets.

We are Aye Ready. No Aye Ready to throw in the towel 👍.

Out of all the names rumoured by posters on this site recently, for me the most likely to happen is Brewster because of the Liverpool connection.

If Zungu signs, he sounds like the type of player that will
Improve the team Covenanter.

HighlandBear, Rangers have many young players with real potential. However the pressure to win makes it difficult to give these players their chance. I believe that the colt teams would help give these youngsters a better platform to play against seasoned professionals and give a better indication of when they are ready for a first team chance.

Then it is down to the player to take their chance and show they are better than other players in their position. Unfortunately, the organisations that govern Scottish Football don’t have the foresight or will to make this positive change happen. Until then the odds of young players being blooded at Rangers is unlikely. That said, their are a couple of youngsters listed in the first team squad for this year coming.

I always try and see the positive side, however I am really disappointed with today’s performance. On evidence of today’s match Rangers look to have the same frailties as last year. It pains me to say it but they lack a mental toughness and are not ruthless enough when they need to be. I hope Gerrard and mgt team can find the answer to this. Time will tell.

Ingerrardwetrust, I ordered a home top and some other stuff on line. The home top is made in Turkey and I like the look and feel of it. My away top is made in China. There isn’t a lot of difference in materials used with the exception of the rear shoulder/ neck vent. I wouldn’t be put off buying the home top.

A rangers colt team introduced into the league system would help blood our youth players.

Totally agree John. The more good experience they get, the more likely they will get their chance at Rangers.
