Hearing a lot about us not signing decent players. even the filthy crew are saying they can't compete now with transfers so we will have to just be patient and shrewd in the market. Money's not flowing and there must only be a few decent players we can afford. Not wanting to sound all doom and gloom but I think that's where we and Scottish football will be for a long time to come.

Heard from a few boys in Malta that a young player (defender) is a possible signing. Lightning pace and a solid guy from all accounts, but no idea who this may be if true.

red bull and all that. bull. sorry. All this coming out from those high in the clouds or heads in the sand. Get real, unless we are in europe then no chance, scottish football is hardly a great prospect for making money and that is what big investors want. Rangers so called fans, not all need a reality check. What we have is what we have. We have to live within our means and I do hope all the nob rds who have made rob feel the way it is reported should go look in the mirror. Take a hard look and realise our club is made up of real people who male mistakes but should at least deserve some respect if we can't give them our backing. Shame on any of you so called fans.

your going a bit overboard there mate, everyones entitled to their opinion, its a bit rich you calling shame on the fans, its only a minority who are on kiernans back are entitled to moan because he is gash

2.) 09 Feb 2017 19:49:53
Wall I don't believe the rumours but u say there is no chance without Europe but that's not the case going by the way they invested in the other clubs again though all crap in my opinion anyway

3.) 09 Feb 2017 23:22:25
Yes it was a disgrace that our fans gave big Rob a hard time, but I blame our manager for not getting him out the team for a bit way before when it was obvious that the pressure is getting to our players, now they are realising what it takes to play for a club like Rangers and that includes the manager he is way out his depth here and needs to walk away

4.) 10 Feb 2017 13:21:49
doubt that rangers will deal with red bull but we need something and we need it fast

New keeper signed...will be announced tomorrow afternoon probably

Maybe those who spouted all the nonsense about us not being able to afford the price can now explain how we have managed it.

2.) 30 Jan 2017 18:33:00
Spot on jodano, as was stated at AGM in november, additional funds would be available in January to strengthen the football team.

3.) 30 Jan 2017 18:40:10
Jordano a fee of £250 grand for a club the size of Rangers does not warrant taking the morale high ground over anyone Once the purse strings have been properly loosened then you can ask explain!

4.) 30 Jan 2017 19:57:34
As I've stated before we can't do much because of Ashley and DK whether you like to believe it or not is keeping the club afloat with his money not spending millions and bankrupting us again. If as I've said also we could pass a motion to sell shares to the current. Pars and not Ashley we would have much more money to spend on team and dilute the fat man also. It's a game of chess and it's keep g the club alive until check mate.

5.) 30 Jan 2017 23:37:10
While I am sure that soft loans from Directors is keeping us afloat there is nothing that I see that gives me comfort that King is ploughing any cash in or indeed that he will do any time soon.

I suspect that if we can rid ourselves of Sports Direct that there will be new investment available but I would not be too confident that it will come from DK.

Morelos being unavailable might not be a bad thing. When we went down to ten men they hadn't a clue who to mark due to the amount of attacking throughout the team. From the wings defence and through the centre, might not be a bad idea to play with no striker and have the wingers switch at playing through the middle. Just a thought.

Having international players only helps us any way you look at it, it increases their experience and helps develop players and if he/ they are going to leave increases their value. Saying it's irrelevant is stupid, ignorant and really annoying to hear. We have a talent on our hands, yeah he's raw and not the finished article yet but he is young and for now he is ours. We should be happy we have another great youth prospect in our team. and possibly Scotland's too.

Wall84

1.) 23 Sep 2018 10:57:52
Yeh let's have the tartan embarrassment boo our players just because they play for Rangers, I doubt the international status of Scotland would increase any players value by that much anyway. Joke of a national team and our players are better out of it.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion and if any rangers fan wishes to support Scotland then fine, go for it, but please allow us other rangers fans who don't care for the national team the same courtesy.

2.) 23 Sep 2018 11:15:36
Not supporting our national team is embarassing it's our country for god sake. The rangers fans who support England and n. I (and the celtic fans who support r. o. i) over their own country are the worst of the fans of both teams. In my experience this is where the bigoted minority in both supports lie.

3.) 23 Sep 2018 12:31:57
There is nothing wrong with enjoying watching another countries national team. Ie the obvious Brazil. But the idea that you would be happy to watch an N. I/ England/ R. O. I beat the country of your birthday. The one you followed when you were child. But as you have said it’s everpersin/ fans right to follow who they wish. I follow rangers and Scotland. I watch Liverpool’s scores and RB Leipzig’s but would never wish them to beat us. If you don’t want to follow national teams again that’s fine.
BTW. a cap for any country increases a players value.

4.) 23 Sep 2018 12:59:21
International football is an inconvenience to me, I am indifferent if Scotland win, lose or draw. I support rangers and follow arsenal in the EPL and athletico in Spain (not so much now its not on sky) but if I am forced to watch international football I would generally look for the best 2 teams that are playing which certainly wouldn't be Scotland. Unless their are no other games on.

5.) 23 Sep 2018 13:28:30
Never been a fan of international football but I get both sides of argument but for me when a player from my team gets booed by the so called other fans I'm out, and I can't see transfer values increasing that much due to a Scotland cap. from a totally personal and I know immature stand point I can't bring myself to support anyone who wears the hoops.

6.) 23 Sep 2018 13:51:38
Zepp you are absolutely right, you are entitled to the same courtesy however playing international football will increase the value of a player to a club whether it be financially or with experience 👍.

7.) 23 Sep 2018 13:55:13
Can I ask a question of the fellow bears who don't like/ follow scotland. If you played for the gers and were our best no.9, best in the country and scotland come calling and we had just reached a world cup finals. You would say no on the reasons of? hoops also play in that jersey? Its an inconvenience for you? What the officials or clubs done and said to us?

8.) 23 Sep 2018 14:03:13
Never said it wouldn't increase a players value? I just don't think it would increase by much.

playing in front of a crowd that would boo said player would definitely be an experience though.

9.) 23 Sep 2018 14:13:36
International football is the best football! We are a Scottish team and I will proudly Follow our national side from glorious failure to not so glorious failure!

Oh Flower of Scotland etc etc etc.

10.) 23 Sep 2018 14:15:36
you are all talking as if all rangers fans are Scottish?

11.) 23 Sep 2018 14:17:30
@SirWalter

not me I clearly said! I!

12.) 23 Sep 2018 18:04:34
Fintytint how are we supposed to answer that so do you think it's acceptable our players get booed
As I've said numerous times here it's an opinion some of us have how is your opinion correct and ours wrong?
I'm Scottish but never have i had any interest in international football that's my right.

To Gers 78 I too feel for tav. If we were playing a 3 5 2 oor 3 5 1 1 he would be amazing. He is not playing in his natural position and gives his all. We should be thankful to have him still with us not wishing him away.

Wall84

1.) 06 Sep 2018 21:26:15
Tav cost us the goal on sunday, he gave up/ surrendered and Mitcham ran more, had more desire than our 'captain'. shambles of a player that will continue to cost us.

{Ed039's Note - Ejaria also gave up the chase)

2.) 06 Sep 2018 22:25:31
Forrest was able to square it with no pressure as well, where was barisic?

Comments like "Shambles of a player" shows the only thing that costs us is 'fans' that say things like that.

05 Sep 2018 18:28:44
Gerrard himself was prone to injuries. later on with groin issues so I am sure roasted will get fitter and stay fit for years. Just hope he isn't the new Owen Hargreaves. He will play for the rest of the season come Christmas. Mind you he may find it difficult to find a place in the squad if all are playing well. Might just be a squad player but next season starter for me.

Seeing rossiter is training and looking good?

2.) 05 Sep 2018 22:35:42
Wall84 - seem to recall people saying that last year?
If fit he is the best midfielder in the country.
HE ISN'T! !

3.) 06 Sep 2018 06:05:54
Jordan rossiter is a terrific young midfielder, if only we could root out the problem and get this young man fit!

4.) 06 Sep 2018 16:38:48
i have said this before but will say it again, Rossiters problem stem from him getting injured young as his body was developing. He will have this issue for another couple of years sadly until he is fully developed. has happened to many young footballers.

I'll put my tuppence worth in and say shagger should be captain. Play as your captain does, fearless and heroic. Okay he kicked out but just showed he cares. Also no contact so nothing doing as far as I am concerned it's the same as faking a head push. We need a strong man with the band and I am am sorry tab you are a great servant but not captain for me.

Wall84

1.) 05 Sep 2018 18:12:51
Didn't care that much risking going down to 10 men and then facing a few games suspension.

2.) 06 Sep 2018 12:49:34
Mcgregor doesn't need an armband to lead. tav conducts himself like a rangers captain. What we need is others in the team to be leaders too. I for one think our team is filled with them now in comparison to last season. The likes of Goldson, Jack. Arfield, Mcg, Tav, Lafferty.

Not likwly when he is still a regular and chasing promotional playoff spot. I know its rumour but would doubt it. Quite similar to jack as well.

Smith played with no actual striker at times. Times have changed and now most teams are three at the back with wing backs. Move on. We were well and truly outplayed. naïve in not playing to the whistle and lucky they forgot their shooting boots. Mind you we are obviously better than last year and still in Europe so I think things will only get better. The league is asque right now and will look much better come Christmas.

Every new manager in reality thinks the decisions go against them we'll get them at ibrox. It's swings and roundabouts. he must know that from his time at fudlerpool.

I did find it funny that on BBC player ratings Morelos was still higher than may. I nearly pissed myself laughing and worse still nearly spilled my pint.

Never a striker, really on and off in the roles he asked to change from and to, but sitting behind or outside a quality striker I think would help. sorry Morelos that's not you. He would be perfect sitting behind a proper good old fashioned goal poacher. Just my opinion though.

Your maths are flawed at 5000000 population the chances of becoming a national player is 1 in 6700. Although you were drinking so I definitely will let you off. still a fantastic post my man.
