If we have 3m to spend then it should be on a centre back! let's see what funds are available. When King failed to magic up a transfer budget for Warburton in the summer he did mention acquiring players if needs be to guarantee top two come January. let's see what happens in two months time or what King's latest excuse is!

All this talk about Barton is taking away from the fact that our team regardless of what anyone says is still in a transition period. We need to give manager time and we will see who really and truely isn't laying for our jersey. I personally think we won't be challenging this year but if we stick with the manager and players like Andy Halliday, Lee Wallace and co then we will be fine.

agree do not see us making any real chance of title, however think when rossiter and windass fit there will be real improvement, rossiter will do great job and windass looked like our most direct which is something we are badly lacking in.

Think we should go for snodgrass and Callum Paterson both out of contract at end of season snodgrass might not come as few English clubs will be on to him but worth a shout for pre contract in January.

Snoddgrass would never come to use, he's a big celtic man.

We have no money to attract these players, Patterson maybe, but I have the feeling Celtic will be a more lucrative move for the lad.
