Waghorn was hugging the touchline doing nothing mckay was awful zelam is awful plus the hibs fans invading the pitch so what they were proud of there team and the victory let's face it we would have done the same if we had achieved a great win defeat is hard to take but let's allow them there moment of glory and not be bitter and jealous.

Hibs were the better team and deserved the trophy but their fans are total persons and have brought both the Club and Scottish Football into disrepute. The SFA should have no option but to ban them from all cup competitions or they will be effectively condoning supporter violence against opposing teams and their players and officials and the next time it happens it could be a lot worse!

2.) 22 May 2016 23:35:00
They assaulted Rangers staff and players, tore up the pitch, destroyed the goalposts.

No, we wouldn't have done the same and it's not being bitter or jealous to simply not want our players to get attacked on the pitch.

That's happened twice in a year now, something has to give.

Bigjim no one is being bitter or jealous. The better team won. But there is NO excuse for what a portion of their fans done. Can you imagine what would have happened if their goal was in the 82nd minute and not the 92nd minute? There still would have been 21,000 Rangers fans there, that has big potential to start a riot. Hibs need to be punished for their fans behaviour, if not this will get out of hand.

4.) 23 May 2016 08:14:32
If a rangers fan ran on the park and punched the hibs captain he would have a public witch hunt.

5.) 23 May 2016 17:37:37
A guy jumps out the crowd, assaults Neil Lennon in stadium, in front of 10-15 k people, police, stewards and possibly millions world wide, guess what, it was not proven.

Bigjim6

I would hope we wouldn't have attacked the other teams players. I was on the pitch at Pittodrie when we won the league under Souness. First player I saw was Jim Bett shook his hand and celebrated no thoughts of causing any trouble.

2.) 22 May 2016 16:18:07
Bigji i don't think we would have invaded the pitch, i know i would never invade a pitch, ime thrre to watch the football, not to inspect the grass.

3.) 22 May 2016 16:38:05
Don't have a problem with them winning as they fully deserved it but when fans invade the pitch and attack our players and staff without provocation I would say people would be entitled to be well bitter about it.

4.) 22 May 2016 17:05:34
They invaded the pitch attacked rangers players ran full length of pitch to goad rangers fans nothing bitter about it.

5.) 22 May 2016 16:45:48
There is allowing them their moment of glory and then there is destroying parts of Hampden and attacking our players and staff. A club with an average attendance of 10000 gets 25000 tickets for the final. Just wondering where the additional 15000 so called supporters came from and whether Hibs knew who they were selling tickets to.

6.) 22 May 2016 17:18:58
Zelalem was our best player yesterday.

7.) 22 May 2016 17:28:56
Anyone who defends yesterday's shameful events is a person.

I'm glad it was them that did it, I am embarrassed by the idiots in our support who continue to sing sectarian songs, but even these idiots wouldn't do what hibs fans did yesterday. Imagine our fans had done that after semi-final win over Celtic. Would have been horrible bloodbath.

Seriously anyone who thinks invading pitch to charge opposition fans and players is acceptable is a complete fool.

8.) 22 May 2016 17:54:10
Has anyone from the Scottish Parliament came out with any statements regarding yesterday's escapade?

9.) 22 May 2016 16:56:58
Nah yer wrong, we would've celebrated from the stands! Did you see any Rangers supporters invade the pitch after the win over our biggest rivals? Thought not!
