Can't believe the papers today with the story about the smell down Celtic way & telling fans to get a wash!
You just couldn't make this up LOL

onward & upward

Can't believe the papers are so slow, we've been telling the great unwashables for years!

2.) 17 Sep 2015 07:49:25
Apparently stewards have narrowed it down to 50,000 suspects.

3.) 17 Sep 2015 23:23:35
Jod1872, the easiest way to clean that lot up would be to wait until their place is fully sold out and just fly over their stadium and fumigate the lot of them, lol. Oh that's right, their place is never sold out any more, lol

Question, given Sir Davie has had almost 2 years to work with Wilson and Kiernan and we have 2 full backs who at times can be described as suspect (I accept the system doesn't help! ) Who would people think was the best defensive coach between John Kennedy and Davie Weir?

just asking.

{Ed039's Note - Davie hasn't had nearly 2 years considering both players only signed just over a year ago .......

1.) 31 Aug 2016 13:57:15
the talent has to be there which it may well be for these boys but at the same time warbs should know with the way he get our team to play then we need cb's with pace. and its hard to believe how slow those two professional footballers actually are.
that's why we get caught out.

29 Aug 2016 17:41:32
One of my first posts last season after the Burnley friendly was that we were too open and slow at the back, not strong enough in midfield and lightweight up front. I got slaughtered for that at the time. Despite the majority of us hoping that things would improve after year of MW and DW, I can't see much difference?
Premier opposition whether you like it or not is a big step up. Of the teams in the league Celtic Aberdeen and Hearts are to physical and strong at the moment. Inverness Ross C StJohnstone and Partick look very well organised and will love playing against our very obvious plan A. The rest are there to be shot at and we haven't done very well against them?
I will still be there shouting on the team. But none of this news!
DK time to step up I'm afraid.

1.) 29 Aug 2016 17:49:50
If anything our defence is worse this season with the arrival of Hill and the departure of young Gasperotto.

2.) 29 Aug 2016 17:59:40
There is no plan B bill. MW was being Hailed a hero and a master of management. Marland was a gem etc. A few weeks V SPL standard teams and it's glaring for all too see this squad isn't nowhere near good enough for a sessions challenge. Pacey forwards will have a feild day in behind the defence week in week out.

3.) 29 Aug 2016 18:20:11
I like Warburton but iv seen his fairly obvious flaws for quite a long time.

4.) 29 Aug 2016 18:32:26
So well organised they all lost 5 goals to the dhims? They are pub teams mate.

5.) 29 Aug 2016 20:38:57
4 lacklustre displays doesn't make MW a bad manager overnight. I'll reserve my judgement till the end of the season, nothing is won or lost at this point and we have only drawn 2 games.

6.) 29 Aug 2016 22:11:05
Its early season and so much can change. Wev not lost a game but obviously need to improve. lots of players have come in and it well take time to get our best 11. I think if we can get a solid cb and a few changes to first 11 well improve massively. Need more running through the middle

Tav, new cb, wilson, wallace
Waggy, holt, rossiter, windass, forester

14 Aug 2016 17:05:35
Just a thought (I've mentioned it before) but I thought McKay had one of his better games yesterday AGAIN when waghorn wasn't playing?
He was not tied to the left wing like he usually is and especially in the first half he seemed to have a bit of freedom.
What does everyone think?

1.) 14 Aug 2016 18:31:17
I just can't praise Mckay enough. He's got tremendous composure and awareness for such a young guy and his workrate is terrific. Glimpses of brilliance yesterday with the through ball for Wallace for Millers goal and his break late on from the left after good linkup with Dodoo - was unlucky with his finish. Thought he was a 7/ 10 yesterday, after Rossiter our best player in what was an average overall team performance for me.

2.) 14 Aug 2016 19:06:19
Wee barrie is a great prospect, I think the flack he gets is unfair at times, but everyone sees things differently, but I agree with you bill, he plays with more freedom when waghorn isn't on the park.

30 Jul 2016 15:32:35
Sorry guys, - but if you cannot hear alarm bells ringing watching the game. You are seriously deluded.
Slow, ponderous, no ideas, centre of defence AGAIN is a nightmare.
This NOT fekin Stranraer! and is more like what we will have to deal with week in week out.
Please sort it out guys.

1.) 30 Jul 2016 15:38:46
one difference between the sides, andre gray. that's what 10 million pounds looks like. new striker needed, badly.

2.) 30 Jul 2016 15:40:16
Need a quick centre back, & go to a 4,4,2.

3.) 30 Jul 2016 15:41:13
Yep burnley significantly better in every department so far. Great to see how we can respond. Great test.

4.) 30 Jul 2016 15:44:42
I said the same last week when briangersfan was impressed with the defence keeping clean sheets against part time players. But most fans on here are bright enough to know we need another cb. Any speedy strikers in spl will be rubbing there hands in glee at running against Clint hill.

5.) 30 Jul 2016 15:46:49
Centre back still a major major problem and we are seeing exactly what we are up against when there is even a bit of quality from the opposition. Not good.

6.) 30 Jul 2016 16:03:37
luckily we will not come up against a player like andre gray this season he is amazing.

7.) 30 Jul 2016 16:01:07
Love your loyal support of the team cynical as ever the game isn't over plus it's a friendly and we have had no real pre season to try anything out. Too many got too used to walking over teams in the 90's and now are just greetin faced fare weather friends that take singing when your winning to a new level. Get a grip of yourself and stop moaning your posts seriously do my tits in.

8.) 30 Jul 2016 16:30:53
Same problems as last year.

Too slow in possession, lack cutting edge and the defence as usual is easy to expose.

We can get away with it to a certain level but good teams will find us easy to get at.

Please remember that we should be well ahead of Burnley in terms of fitness and we are at home.

Said it before, we can get away without another striker- we cannot get away with the current defence both in personnel and tactics.

9.) 30 Jul 2016 16:33:22
If we ever have ambitions to play in Europe or beat Celtic then we need to be able to handle team's like Burnley and players like Gray.

10.) 30 Jul 2016 16:34:53
We will still come up against fast attacking players and they will destroy our defence. We need at least one quality centre back and fast. Interesting to see who has gone off and who has come on. Delighted for Rossiter and Dodoo but I would rather see Kranjcar and Barton on the Park with them.

11.) 30 Jul 2016 16:59:46
No preseason have u been in space for the past 4 or 5 weeks. How dare u question my loyalty of the team I love rangers but I'm allowed to critise when I see fit. The defence was a shambles last season and nothing has been done so far to fix that. So stop getting on like a child.

12.) 30 Jul 2016 17:11:44
celtic don't have a player half as good as andre gray.

13.) 30 Jul 2016 17:12:49
There are some that can't see critical comments can be positive- especially when the problems are so obvious they almost smack you in the chops.

Our defence wasn't good enough in lower division, it needs improvement- how can anyone who watches us not see that.

14.) 31 Jul 2016 15:47:10
Mate calm down its one game against opposition far superior and they looked it everywhere. Looked defensively weak as I feel playing Kiernan will always do. We are playing our least energetic midfield partnership which I talked about in my own post. Not a team in the SPFL will put that much of a challenge up. Barton Kranjcar and Haliday are too slow and don't provide enough energy in comparison to the likes of Windass. Crooks is our best player and he will show that playing CB with Wilson next season.

15.) 31 Jul 2016 15:55:27
Not so sure any Premier team will be like Burnley, think your overestimating them .

Dave King - first answer to fans on the RFC official site- about transfer policy
good read.

1.) 21 Jun 2016 10:41:58
Only thing is it's going to take a while to get through 2000 plus questions at a rate of 1 a day!

2.) 21 Jun 2016 13:22:42
if you actualy read his post - he said he would group the questions into approx. 12 main subjects. He never said he would answer them all personally.
get a grip man!

Really! Yes it was a friendly. But we should be seeing something more solid.
I never slated (& never do) anyone in particular, but to say that team is playing champions league qualifiers, as if it justifies the result in some way is a joke surely?

Yes, dodgy result against a poor team. Maybe a reality check for some.
I know we are still short of a few, but we should still have been good enough to beat that lot.
Europa League has come a week (at least) too early for what will be essentially a new team.
Hang on it might be a bumpy ride.

New strips deal, new sponsor, big investment where did it all go guys.
There's rumour and there's wishful thinking.
Think a lot of the comments a week or so ago fall into the latter category

I think any money they get for garner is already spoken for as the remaining part of his original transfer fee

We won't miss out on him. It's probs his last big contract and he was never coming here to build up his pension.
& there lies the problem, we are so far behind in salary (never mind the state of Scottish football ) that it will be freebies and end of career pension seekers with no sell on value

Been happening for decades, even when we are clearly still trying to build up the team/ business, we are still seen as sugar daddies to the rest.
They will state we are bankrupt but put their hands out quickly enough
