hi ed, received this e-mail from a friend,

Notice lodged with Land Register to mortgage Ibrox and Murray Park to

http://independent.co.uk/news/business/news/sports-direct-stops-20000-staff-taking-other-work-by-using-zero-hour-contracts-9661746.html

Despite alternative funding available. does anybody know or have more information on this?

boyblue

1.) It would appear that this has been done so that legally the board can only accept ashleys loan over the next 35 days guzumping everyone else. this will be accepted and if they cannot pay back 10 mil which they won't Ashley owns the lot. pretty much legalised theft imo.
the next time you even think about going back just remember that this board has just sold you all out.

on the 14th aug, I posted that mike ashley was asked to under write the 4 million share issue, if you check the press today. to the 46 unbelievables, I don't want to say I told you so but. lol!!

boyblue

1.) Boyblue - yes they asked Ashley,

I would bet money that they also asked;

Laxey Partners Ltd 12. 6%
Artemis Investment Management LLP 8. 33%
River and Mercantile Asset Management LLP 7. 29%
Hargreave Hale Limited 6. 99%
Blue Pitch Holding* 6. 08%
Miton Capital Partners 4. 78%
Alexander Easdale* 4. 47%
Margarita Funds Holding Trust

not too hard to figure out

JG

2.) Dont know about the rest you mentioned but I do know ashley has been sounded out. ( press have never mentioned the other companies and I haven't heard of them being sounded out again ) my friend works for ashley in london and my response was ment to be light hearted, take a chill pill jg!!

3.) Dont see him doing this without getting a substantial business deal from it. He did not get super rich by just flinging cash away. . oh wait Newcastle. . well maybe he will.

4.) Get off you're high horse hasn't been proven. yet he will underwrite 4 million just because paper says so must be true NOT

5.) Stiv 65, my original post started " I've heard a rumour from a mate" which I posted on a rumour page. also posted it a week before the press released it, please ingauge brain before opening mouth, doh!!

6.) Boynlue I've read else whare mike asley will not be giving the club this money

14 Aug 2014 09:27:22
my mate txt last night saying their was a rumour going about that mike ashley was going to underwrite the 4 mollion pound share issue, would be announced after it had been subject to the stock exchange, don't know if anybody else has heard this!!

boyblue

1.) I heard he was going to get involved when Rangers are ready to go into the Prem as he wants to be involved with Champions league football as Newcastle are s****

2.) Could he not throw in a right back and a creative midfielder from Newcastle reserves on a years loan as well

wonder if utd will send a letter to the sfa, wondering why a penalty was given lol!!

boyblue

1.) 27 Apr 2015 14:09:45
Na they probably won't bother seen as how the champs were in total control even without the penalty! Another championship is comin home to paradise this weekend! Can't beat that winnin feelin 😜😜😜

2.) 27 Apr 2015 14:59:26
Hahaha I love it that we can change the rules as we go haha keep the trophy shiny ghirls! Better luck next year for the elusive treble! Hopefully your tea cake stuffing, baldy racist isn't on community service and can teach Pukki, Scepovic, Balde etc how to score!

3.) 27 Apr 2015 16:26:04
If that is paradise, there will be a hell of a lot of pissed off suicide bombers.

4.) 27 Apr 2015 18:58:18
Well if they ended up in ibrokes, were everything and anything is for sale and falling to pieces, then they would be pissed of.

P.S. if ibrokes is as bad as fans say, how is it passing environmental health, health and safety checks, police checks.

Think it's time Mr lawwell was sending out a few more letters to the above named organizations.

Hail Hail.

5.) 27 Apr 2015 19:49:11
Sure he's got enough to do answering all those charge sheets from UEFA.

6.) 27 Apr 2015 19:51:00
Wonder if Scott Brown will be pulled up by the compliance officer for his malicious and hate filled tackle on John Rankin and we all know why he picked rankin! Animal and disgusting human being. Scotland captain doesn't get sent off.

7.) 27 Apr 2015 20:32:12
Peanut heid is immune from sanctions. Did you not know that?

8.) 27 Apr 2015 20:43:35
Dan67

Are you not concerned that in the 3 years Rangers have been out the SPFL you haven't managed to win the treble? How much easier doesn't it need to get? The league was always a given and not to win what would be the easiest treble is shocking

9.) 27 Apr 2015 21:18:34
You only managed one in the 9 in a row years when you were spending hundreds of millions of pounds you didn't have ,while the rest of Scottish football were playing journey men from the English third division and not spending a penny so it's not that easy is it , at least we won't go bust chasing it .

10.) 27 Apr 2015 21:24:48
Cexx if you knew anything about the rules you would know that as brown was harshly booked for the challenge already , then the ref is deemed to have seen the incident ( make's a change for a Scottish ref to actually see an incident) then the compliance officer can't touch it , re : Lee mcullochs stamp in the cup game .

11.) 27 Apr 2015 21:17:50
Is this Scott the animal brown who had the entire gers midfield In his back pocket in the last - well I was going to say game, but u couldn't really call that a game could u - more like a one sided lesson from the champs! Or is this peanut heid who scored with his funny lookin heid within 10 min! Hahaha! And no not winnin the treble doesn't bother us! A double would have to do! Mind u if we were in the petrofact cup we could a had a treble! Howd use get on in that by the way 😝😝😝 teacakes jelly and ice cream are on the menu to celebrate 4 in a row this weekend 😜😜😜

12.) 27 Apr 2015 23:27:02
Champs short for champers,as in bunch of. you lot never bothered about the treble when you couldn't win a trophy of any sort between 89 and 95,did you?it was a mickey mouse treble, you said.well even when your budget is probably the same as the rest of the premier combined, you still can't win it.so not bothered about winning it that your man wrote a letter to the SFA greeting about not getting a penalty.no amount of ridicule from us can match the amount that you have piled on yourselves, wail, wail!

13.) 28 Apr 2015 01:31:17
What is a CHAMPER? Anyone?

14.) 28 Apr 2015 03:22:54
Seriously Lani, how there I can you argue with them? Your team couldn't even win the petrofec or ramsden cup (or whatever it is called!) with the second highest wage bill in Scotland! So there is only one bunch of chumps around here mate and that is the pretend Rangers!
Maybe that is why your team wants to stay in the second tier mate so they can win their first knock out trophy?

15.) 28 Apr 2015 08:12:32
Yes Brown is a good player no doubt about it but if your on here defending that tackle you are an embarrassing person, he is an animal who goes out his way to hurt people. Everybody that doesn't have green specs knew it was a sending off, what can you expect from a Celtic fan as referee, Celtic get everything going as seen with the meekings suspension which the SFA changed the rules for lmao.

Scott Brown thinks he's a big man it's a Shane because there is talent there.

16.) 28 Apr 2015 09:40:17
We are where we are,and the only team that had gone backwards as much as us is Sellik. missing our competition, missing our cash(unless you want to argue with your man Lowell). your head to heads with Aberdeen have decided the league. are they that much better than last year?. no,you lot have gone backwards, and are morphing into Dundee Utd.circa 2013.and when you lose Van Dick and Denayer, you'll feel it even more.Europe is the benchmark, and your repeated gubbings and 3 exits tell the storyline. THAT'S a treble!.what'll you do when United run out of decent players?

17.) 28 Apr 2015 09:45:49
Fab1 your arithmetic is atrocious.

18.) 28 Apr 2015 11:06:00
Cexx , why no penalty and sending off in the semi then if you think that there is a pro Celtic conspiracy or any conspiracy among referees then you truly should be embarrassed and grow up , they are simply crap at their jobs , if you can't see that then you are the one wearing tinted glasses my friend. As for brown he is simply an outstanding hard tackling midfield general the type that your team has had many of over the years and would not go out to hurt any opponents intentionally if you don't see that then you know jack about the game .

19.) 28 Apr 2015 11:39:44
Aye LANI we've went back as much as use! Hahahaha do actually believe the garbage u spout! I don't remember us being gubbed in the petrofact cup every time we've been in it! Or us being nearly 30 points behind hearts in the 1st division! A team who u mite remember we soundly humped twice this season! Yes the standard of player has dropped due to lack of money in our game! But unlike use we won't put ourselves in debt to chase a European dream that even the EPL billions can't manage! Look at Man city's record in the champions league the past 3 seasons! Aslong as we dominate the domestic scene I'll be quite happy! And I'm glad Aberdeen are giving us a run for our money! Which is a damn sight more than use have done this season! Remind me what's your budget compared to there's again?? Hahaha! In fact what's your budget compared to every team in Scotland again, apart from the champs?? 😝😝😝😝😝 its a great time to be a tim 😜😜😜😜

20.) 28 Apr 2015 11:52:57
Nippybear can you point out my mistaken arithmetic. How many trebles did you win during 9 in a row? If it was more than one I apologize, if not then perhaps you should know more about the history of the team you used to support , or maybe it wasn't the glory that attracted you .

21.) 28 Apr 2015 12:09:24
Or nippybear are you seriously claming that in relative terms ( todays money ) you didn't squander a hundred million in transfer fees and wages in your futile chase for the big cup .

22.) 28 Apr 2015 12:11:02
I think you will find that the Meekings suspension was the SFA, Celtic mearly asked for the reason the penatly was not given. RD even stated that he hoped the SFA would overturn thier daft decison. The SFA are mugs (which I think we can all agree on) and were looking for a scapegoat.

On Scott Brown thinking he's a big man judging by the fear in Rangers players last time he faced them (law and black both being put on their arses for eg) it's not wonder eh

23.) 28 Apr 2015 12:21:43
'Hundreds of millions'?
How much did di canio, cadete, viduka cost?'not a single penny'?
Mmm.

24.) 28 Apr 2015 12:49:46
Why are we speaking in today's term of money Flab1??
#alwaysanexcuse

25.) 28 Apr 2015 13:01:00
Apart from bring in different leagues or in your case a different dimension, how could we give you a run for your money?and how much greater is your budget than the rest of Premier?. Great time to be a Tim is a bit of a contradiction in terms innit?.remember even if you win the next 6 trebles, you still won't catch us.

26.) 28 Apr 2015 13:53:37
Nipponbear I'm still waiting for you to show me the flaw in my arithmetic, if you can I will gladly show you how I got to that figure, until then I will just assume you are flapping your gums .

27.) 28 Apr 2015 14:19:54
Hey Fab1! You said they spent 'hundreds of millions' during the 9 in a row years, where do you come up with this outrageous figure? I will keep ' flapping my gums' as you let your brain cell work out the calculation. Good luck!

28.) 28 Apr 2015 16:24:21
Nipponbear here we go fingers ready . At a very very conservative estimate rangers had at least 25 players earning 25 grand a week during this period, on a three year contract a player earning that amount plus a one million signing on fee earns 4.9 million pounds , times this by twenty five and you get a staggering 122.5 MILLION POUNDS. add to this again another 25 player earning twelve and a half thousand pounds with a signing on fee of half a million pounds which is another 61.25 million pounds and again these are very conservative figures as rangers probably used over a hundred players during this period and you get 183.75 MILLION POUNDS IN WAGES ALONE, that is without a single transfer fee added on .

{Ed001's Note - if Rangers had 25 players earning 25 grand a week I would be shocked. They wouldn't lose out on players to the English Championship if they were paying so many 25k a week.}

29.) 28 Apr 2015 16:54:43
Stunning calculation there Fab/Gaz. did you work on Rangers accounts before we went bust by any chance? Tend to agree with Ed. what's your Kerrydale accountant's take on how much you lot spent in the same period?(miss out the spend on tissues, that'll blow it completely). and at least we had all those trophies to show for it , whereas you lot had. what? They'll never be taken from us, and we'll add to them. your window of opportunity to claw back all those honours won't last forever.

30.) 28 Apr 2015 17:06:58
Hahahaha
You are pointing Percy at the pavement on this one my Fab accountant!
Ok
'Spending hundreds of millions of money you didn't have'
So therefore we didn't receive any money over that 9 year spell lol
Back to the drawing board buddy!

31.) 28 Apr 2015 17:11:33
Like teaching a pig to sing

32.) 28 Apr 2015 17:13:36
Guys like Brian Reid and Neil Murray were on a million a year hahahaha
No wonder we went bust hahahaha

33.) 28 Apr 2015 17:19:42
I respect your opinion ed but off the top of my head and I'm sure a real rangers fan could add a few more I'm positive that , Flo , Gascoigne, hatley , laudrup , kanchelskis , giuvarch , Wilkins , thern , byorkland , Trevor Stevens , Gary Stevens , gough , Hendry , klos , prodan , mikailechenko ,Duncan Ferguson and de Boer x 2 did not knock back very lucrative contracts in England or Europe to take any less than 25 grand a week at rangers .

{Ed001's Note - you are thinking of the wrong era mate, I could ask Gazza if you like, but I know he was on less than that at Boro and Everton, both of whom paid him more than Rangers did. 25k was the kind of money top stars were on in that time. It was only when the English Premier League came along that wages exploded. Up until then, British footballers were very rarely earning 25k a week. Sorry but you are completely on another planet with these figures.}

34.) 28 Apr 2015 17:48:03
The English boys such as Butcher,Wilkins, Stevens ,Woods came for European footy- Teams from down south were banned due to the heysel disaster.
Also Kanchelskis, De Boers , Flo and others you mentioned had no part in 9 in a row.

35.) 28 Apr 2015 17:59:14
Klos was recently in the paper saying he earned 30 grand a week at rangers ed and I remember a couriera de la sport article saying gazza was on 1.8 million a year at Lazio stuck in my mind because Lazio are my team in Italy and I went to see gazza play for them a couple of times when he first joined , souness was also on over a millon a year at samptoria so I based my figures on that , and if you want an idea of the money rangers were throwing around at the time Scott Wilson was on 5 grand a week before he even kicked a ball for the first team and was driving around in a ferarri . Even at half those wages your looking at 80 millon pounds without a transfer fee being paid .

{Ed001's Note - see you clearly don't understand wages. 30k will include the signing bonus spread over the length of his contract, win bonuses, clean sheet bonuses, appearance bonuses + sponsorship money. It is not his wage. It is his entire earnings. As for Gazza, Italian football paid the highest wages in the world at that time, he took a pay cut when he left there. Souness went to Italy for the money and was one of the highest paid players in the world and fully deserved to be paid that well as he was immense as a player. By the way if you believe gutter press then I am wasting my time even talking to you. Newspapers have no idea what players are on.}

36.) 28 Apr 2015 18:19:46
Nippon bear wasn't Wilkins already playing in Italy? So he wouldn't have come for European football and the rest were high quality players so could have went to much sunnier places to play in European competition, I think you will find they came here because they were being very well paid .

37.) 28 Apr 2015 18:28:34
Your typing just for the sake of saving face.
Scot Wilson Ferrari?
I believe Klos was on large wages but again Fab this debate is during the 9iar years. Klos signed in 98,after the 9 ,along with 50% of the players you previously mentioned.
So from hundreds of millions spent you have now shriveled down to 80 million before transfer fee( from the top of my head we only had 2x 4 million players, in Gazza and Duncan Ferguson- who left to Everton for that amount also?). You still haven't mentioned the sponsorship or gate monies we received?

38.) 28 Apr 2015 18:40:13
Yes, I'm sorry Ray Wilkins came from PSG- a real powerhouse in the mid 80s?. The three foreigner rule was in place so the other lads weren't guaranteed a game if they went somewhere sunnier.

39.) 28 Apr 2015 19:11:27
Go easy on him guys, he's having a "Am I Gaz or Fab" trauma. but well done Nippon for a thorough sorting out of the guff committed to type. and you are definitely a different person From me, Nippon, aren't you?!

40.) 28 Apr 2015 19:15:42
Nippon bear perhaps your right the figure should been 10s of millions rather than 100s , if the ed is right about the money these guys were on , like I said I based the figure on what souness and gazza were earning in Italy which was around the 20 - 25 grand a week mark .

24 Mar 2015 08:56:15
hi ed, just wondering about the 5 loan players from newcastle. if they did not have medicals, would they have been covered insurance wise while they are at ibrox. if not, and they got seriously injured, would we have been liable for all costs??

boyblue

{Ed001's Note - they can't sign a deal without insurance, the players union requires insurance for a professional contract to be done.}

1.) 24 Mar 2015 09:01:47
Surely then in order to get the players insured medicals need to be done and evidence submitted that they have been carried out?

{Ed001's Note - they would have medical records and it depends on the form of insurance. If you only want the wages covered, then it is different from wanting the treatment paid for.}

2.) 24 Mar 2015 11:23:56
cheers ed for clearing that up, found it all very strange!!

23 Mar 2015 10:36:34
thought the performance and result was more like the rangers of yester year, the boys deserve credit for it, dug in and showed a bit of spirit, let's hope this can carry us on for what's left of the season. also 20 years to the day of the death of davie cooper rip, my hero!!
