My mates dad smokes fags out the back of Ladbroke's in Mauchline way stevie naismiths uncle and said he's on for a loan move in January. Laugh if you want but it's got potential.

1.) 30 Dec 2016 22:04:09
When a story starts with my mates dad not really original. But at least it's no a chippy or a petrol station!

2.) 30 Dec 2016 22:05:27
A would believe that. The naisy's luv a fag!

3.) 30 Dec 2016 22:07:42
i would not let him clean the bogs at ibrox.

4.) 30 Dec 2016 22:09:46
What kinda fags is he smoking because he's tripping.

5.) 30 Dec 2016 22:21:13
Decent player but cannot forgive him for jumping ship.

6.) 30 Dec 2016 23:15:41
Mauchline doesn't have a Ladbrokes so someone's been telling porkies.

7.) 30 Dec 2016 23:18:54
No thanks to Naismith! Don't ever forget they way he conducted himself in the press conference when deserting our club! #disgusting!

8.) 31 Dec 2016 00:02:13
Naismith not welcome as far as I'm concerned. The ones that deserted our club will remain a disgrace forever to me.

9.) 31 Dec 2016 00:02:13
Naismith not welcome as far as I'm concerned. The ones that deserted our club will remain a disgrace forever to me.

10.) 31 Dec 2016 08:38:07
If he scores goals which we lack who cares that he left when things were in a mess to make his future better financially.

11.) 31 Dec 2016 09:44:23
I ment coral.

12.) 31 Dec 2016 10:11:37
Yeah boys. slag off the current batch of players for underperforming and turn down a better player just because he left our sinking ship to look after his own career and family.
Sound a bit like cutting off your blue noses in spite of your faces!
Not sure how many turncoat supporters would cling on to their current jobs hoping for security whilst turning down the offer of much higher salaries.
Get real.

13.) 31 Dec 2016 10:45:04
Great post BR65.I myself have a wife and 2 kids and if i got offered a job on an extra 50quid a wk i'd be offski.

14.) 31 Dec 2016 11:58:08
It's not why they did it but how the did it the the most important thing and a Football club like rangers is loyalty but the bigger picture is
Look after number family comes first

And as said if he came and started scoring goals he is more then welcome but that's what the club needs goals is what wins games.

15.) 31 Dec 2016 14:07:24
Exactly wut mean Defence yet again n warburton really is clueless we need experiance manager n rob kiernan says it all really by gers fans have good new year.

16.) 31 Dec 2016 14:26:22
Naismith would be our best player by miles. Get over yourselves.

17.) 31 Dec 2016 15:54:13
Exactly LBB. Its not why they did it its the way they all jumped ship and left. let's not forget that McGregor, Naismith, Lafferty etx all claimed to be diehard gers fans. They tucked tails and ran. Edu, Bocanegra, Goian, these guys never clained to be fans of the club before signing but they all tuped over their contracts. Football is different to the likes of our jobs, let's not joke ourselves on that. Clubs would easily have paid 250k for Naismith, McGregor, Whittaker, Lafferty. And that money could have gone to some of the small business creditors who lost out when the company got liquidated. So this 'they did it for their family' argument is nonsense. They did it to line their own pockets and to the detriment of Rangers and Rangers creditors, simple. None of them are welcome in the stadium again never mind on the pitch as far as I'm concerned.

18.) 31 Dec 2016 15:58:54
Naismith desserted the club?
Surely was other way round he was happy where he was till the club desserted him.

19.) 31 Dec 2016 16:13:34
Has everyone forgotten about them taking wage cuts?

20.) 31 Dec 2016 16:45:02
I would take Naismith back, indeed I would have most of the players back that left; but not Lafferty. A total waste of a jersey and nothing but trouble off the park! We could have spent the money we wasted on him on someone a lot better!

14 Jun 2018 17:01:38
Quick question. Would you sell the naming rights to Ibrox to win the league next season?

1.) 14 Jun 2018 17:22:36
Definitely at the end of the day it would still be Ibrox.

2.) 14 Jun 2018 17:30:17
no chance no need to sell your soul, give steve g a bit of time and no name change will be needed

3.) 14 Jun 2018 18:37:16
I’d cut my balls off tae win that title and stop u know what.

4.) 14 Jun 2018 18:38:18
Cant for life of me understand this naming rights if we got 10m to call it whatever, its 10m up and we would still go to ibrox that would never change
We're not in a position to knock back "free money"

5.) 14 Jun 2018 19:17:33
good point and I agree, I would cut off your balls to win the title

6.) 14 Jun 2018 19:24:18
I agree. The old lady will always be Ibrox to me no matter what

7.) 14 Jun 2018 19:59:50
sorry but there’s no amount off money that’s worth destroying the leagacy of a stadium, fair enough a training ground doesn’t matter but ibrox shouldn’t even be considered

that’s like teams like Utd wanting to change the name off old Trafford to Adidas arena or Liverpool changing Anfield to new balance arena. fans would cause a riot. The name off the stadium is just as important as the stadium itself imo I might be 19 but think I’ve got more sense than some people on here that would be okay with this happening

8.) 14 Jun 2018 20:03:54
Selling stadium naming rights should be a no brainer, as mentioned before it'll always be Ibrox and a naming rights deal is only for a fixed contract. If 32Red wanted to give us £6m for 3 years as an example, would you honestly say no?

9.) 14 Jun 2018 20:36:51
if they offer 3 million a season and call it hummel stadium, take it we need all the revenue we can get, its still ibrox as we no it, were so far behind in revenue compared to teams in england. its only a name afterall

10.) 14 Jun 2018 22:37:48
What if I cut 1 off? Can we call Hummel-brox

19 Jan 2018 15:11:10
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I don't fancy the signing of Docherty. I know he's young and still developing but he's no McArthur and I think we could do better.

1.) 19 Jan 2018 15:35:04
Kind of hard to argue that McArthur is a better player, he has 32 caps for Scotland and over 230 premier league games under his belt compared with a player ten year younger with only 100 SPL games. Not sure what point your making? With regards to what player is better for Rangers in our current situation then Docherty is the better option. 1. We’ll save c. £15k per week wages (around £800k p/ a) 2. We’ve save over c. £1.5m in transfer fees (Money we appear not to have) 3. We can expect to generate c. £1m more in future transfer fees. 4. We’ll finish second regardless of which player we’ll sign. I want to win the league as much as the next guy however, if we don’t build a solid and sustainable foundation we have no chance.

2.) 19 Jan 2018 15:59:13
People getn over excited about Docherty. rather have Hyndman

3.) 19 Jan 2018 18:36:50
Hyndman would only be a loan need a permanent signing Docherty good player with engine and a bit of dig about him

4.) 19 Jan 2018 20:18:51
Docherty is a cracking young player. Physically strong and can play football, something we’ve not seen in a while in midfield. Hyndman was good but when we got bullied in games he would go missing.

5.) 19 Jan 2018 23:27:02
Hyndman would be a loan with option to buy

Rangers rumoured to be looking at admin 2

- knock back bids for windass
- have a winter break in Florida
- add two players to the wage bill
-upgrade facilities at Auchenhowie

1.) 08 Jan 2018 20:43:39
Who started the rumours, was it the 'Rangers' fan that calls us the Klan and thinks the moon landings were faked?

2.) 08 Jan 2018 21:32:43
Remember the last version of your club tried to sign a player the day you went in to admin, so wouldn’t be surprised!

3.) 08 Jan 2018 23:36:48
"The last version". I bet you thought that was really clever saying its a new club while still stalking us because its the same club.

4.) 09 Jan 2018 00:10:57
Not saying there is any truth to this but my concern is 6 years ago around now the same stories were being banded about. jan 2012.and the same reaction on here was muted. i. e. timmy propaganda, mhedia witchunt, club too big to go into administration, we are spending on players so can't be true. and we all remember feb l4th 2012!

my worry is king has only about a fortnight to comply with the recent court findings and offer the 20p per share. ( don't believe an appeal will be successful) so I for one don't think burying head in sand works. and do fear for our financial well being. realistic thoughts please

5.) 09 Jan 2018 01:23:30
Never mind whiskers007, more like pussy007

6.) 09 Jan 2018 13:11:50
the great unwashed trying to unravel our rise back to the top no admin 2, 2 new signings new assistant. florida winter break and more signings to follow upwards and onwards bears. no one likes us we don't care.

08 Jan 2018 19:54:23
Jordan Jones is rank and has no end product end of. Anyone who's watched him can see it.

02 Jun 2017 16:09:14
My mates dad accidentally spat on a guy on west nile street in Glasgow. After apologizing he mentioned it was Graham Dorrins dad. Turns out he's looking at houses for his son. Looks like he's definitely coming.

{Ed039's Note - that's got to be the most bizarre one yet

1.) 02 Jun 2017 18:03:32
Haha brilliant. I never knew that if you grogged on someone that they'd tell you all their business 🤣 need to try that!

2.) 02 Jun 2017 18:07:10
So people that get spat on present their I. D. Directly afterward?

3.) 02 Jun 2017 18:23:55
Yeah i witnessed that, it was at the petrol station!

{Ed039's Note - petrol station on west Nile street, where is that

4.) 02 Jun 2017 18:34:49
Was sarcasm mate, as this is less likely than a petrol station story. rubbish patter, apologies haha!

5.) 02 Jun 2017 18:45:21
Was he out with an old phlegm at the time?

6.) 02 Jun 2017 19:19:46
Lmao! So you mean to tell us that this happened in real life or a wee dream?

"I'm sorry I spat on you! "

"Don't worry about it, I'm Graham Dorrans dad and I'm looking at houses for him. " 👍

7.) 02 Jun 2017 23:45:52

What I heard was that Alfie was getting the better of Docherty and had to be pulled off him or Docherty he would have ended up in hospital. Miller was giving Murty it tight about Halliday then Murty said he didn't want to talk about it and Miller went for him punching him. It's from a usually reliable source.

China. What Kenny Miller allegedly done was smash Murty in the face and try to fight him. i'm all for that but in a professional environment that's taking it too far. Not sure what Wallace done tho.

Pure Timothy behaviour. They call is a dead club but in the last week they've released a film about how dead wee are and released it at celtic park. They've emailed Brighton saying how much in debt we are then all bet on rangers to be relegated this year. Obsessed much?

Probably the first thing is that The Rangers (as we've always been called) aren't skint. We have a huge turnover which is increasing year on year. True we are running at a deficit at the moment and will continue for the near future but that's to be expected and being funded by the board. You are also right that investors are not looking for a return on their money. There is not one club in Scotland where investors would put money into football looking for a healthy return. All investors do it for the club they love nothing else.

Stevie G was our number 1 target and lot of others were interested in the job. King said in his statement they would back him as much as he needed. Could be as much as 20/ 25 million depending on players leaving etc. I think people should stop spouting what they 'wish' was happening at Rangers and start looking at the facts.

When you say 'King should leave now' who else would come in? King and the other 3 bears are basically underwriting our losses at the moment and I don't see anyone else willing to do that, do you? Nonsense statement coming from someone who knows nothing.
