It's easy to be fickle we beat them and it's roll on 55. we sign Defoe and davis and we're buzzing, now tonight it's all doom and gloom and as bad as that was, I'm still confident we'll be up there till the end. the only thing that really bothered me was the way we sacrificed our wide men for the new boys I hope we can find a balance quickly.

need to play 442 or 433 that tonight doesn't work.

2.) 24 Jan 2019 07:12:32
Its 4-4-2 for me all the way. Candias should really have been on from the start because Tav had a miserable game without him. Honestly, what was SG thinking about? 1 or possibly 2 attacking midfielders required in my book. We seem to be well endowed with defensive midfielders but the distinct lack of goals scored over the last 10 games speak volumes to me.

3.) 24 Jan 2019 10:47:16
These comments all fail to mention the pitch. That surface is such a leveller and makes any footballer look worse. It sounds like an excuse but it is a huge advantage to Killie who know how to play on it. It's like a different sport on that surface, like playing a golf Major on astroturf. Stevie G knows it too, he just can't go on about it too much or press will headline that he's making excuses. Its a lottery that surface and its unfair to judge any players on it.

4.) 24 Jan 2019 17:03:59
Cannon

How come we beat them 3-1 on that surface earlier in the season?

I hate to say it but if the beggars win on Saturday then I think it's over (the league not the manager) it would take a phenomenal window to improve enough as I think brenda will be given funds ☹ hope I'm wrong 🇬🇧.

1.) 26 Dec 2018 21:31:24
As much as it hurts we are simply not good enough to compete with celtic and don't have the funds.

2.) 26 Dec 2018 22:11:39
It's true. We don't. But we have more than the funds to be a clear and distant second and we're not even managing that. This squad and this manager, like every Rangers squad and manager since promotion, is absolutely and totally undelivering.

3.) 27 Dec 2018 00:07:30
Being a clear and distant 2nd is all down to how well the team in 3rd does.

4.) 28 Dec 2018 01:55:25
On a tenth of the budget we have, the competence of the team in third shouldn't even be a factor. And the team in third has changed hands more times than pass the parcel.

5.) 28 Dec 2018 11:25:37
Rfcrb, why do you think that we should be well clear of 3rd when Celtic are not?

Celtic have far greater resources that we have and yet to 5 places are all pretty close.

If you are going to slate our teal, at least use some rationale for an argument.

If that was the 1st choice 11 next season (with the exception of the goalie and left back) would we be happy.

I still believe SG will take us to the top again although probably not this season last season at this time we had 3 points less obviously the European run gave us some exciting nights and maybe we're.

coopsrightleg

1.) 18 Feb 2019 13:34:09
so we are 3 points better of than last year and have been throwing points away every other week!
A couple of good nights in Europe, clouded the truth, the majority of those games were poor against poor teams.
Bumped out of the League Cup without a whimper, and Kilmarnock then away to Aberdeen to progress in the Scottish Cup?
Is anyone confident we will get through those games?
One BIG game against Celtic and some of us thought we were finally going somewhere - - what's happened since?
Sorry guys - I am not convinced with at least half the team, the January window was a chance to do something and we signed 2 guys who are obviously past it. I would be struggling to remember us winning 4 games in a row in the league to be honest -which is what we will need now AND the rest even to get 2nd!
I need to go and lie in a darkened room for a wee while.

2.) 18 Feb 2019 13:35:17
what have you seen to make you think that?

3.) 18 Feb 2019 13:55:53
I remember two years ago Super Ally said that it would take 5 years for Rangers to get back on top, and people give him an awful time, maybe the guy had a point?
Some supporters want miracle’s but the sensible supporters know it’ll take time? And if the board keeps supporting the manager as best they can, Rangers will be back at the top, I’ve no doubt about that, we will laugh last and that’s the sweetest. In Mark Allen in my opinion we have a very professional and hard working guy, who has Rangers at his heart and a young up and coming manager who will learn and do us proud. Hope I haven’t said too much 😝.

4.) 18 Feb 2019 16:49:40
totally agree ulsterman, would have loved to win the league this season but didn't expect to win it if i'm honest as long as we stop smeltic getting 9 but definently not 10 then i will be happy with maybe a cup thrown into the bargain.

5.) 18 Feb 2019 17:28:38
Sensible talk Queens, I know it sounds strange me coming from NI, but I actually do have friends who are Celtic fans and I want to have the last laugh.

6.) 18 Feb 2019 18:53:27
Realistically it was always going to take SG more than season to get us back to top so I'm prepared to give him time as long as he sees short term crap loans is not the answer. Most have bombed but there have been few worked well so it is easy to see he knows what he's doing.

Looking forward to Michael Stewart's meltdown as he disproves every rangers penalty 🤣🤣🇬🇧🇬🇧.

Saw them for first time last night we were extremely lucky only the first was a penalty but feck it should've had a few mid week.

2.) 04 Feb 2019 09:17:45
I think only the first penalty was the correct decision. The others were dubious to say the least, though it wouldn't have mattered to Stewart on Sportscene - he'd have denied it all anyway. We've got to be more lethal in front of goal against the sheep on Wednesday night and it is a must-win match.

3.) 04 Feb 2019 15:54:56
Thought I was watching a rerun of only an excuse. Also there was not one, aye not one, mention on the football just the referees, admittedly poor, decisions.

Great to see JD has some real pace left setting up RK.

Davis stills need a good few weeks of fitness work, he should not start for Aberdeen.

I think 4141 against the sheep.
Shag
Tav Worrall? Katic Borna
Mcrorie
Candias Arfield Jack Kent
Fred

7 of that team have scored recently.

What levein comment gave you the bigger laugh " we we're playing against 13 men " or "Lennon was right "😂😂.

Even lennon hates levein👍.

Easy to pick the team after it's done but I honestly would have kept the shape and system we're good at so Jones for kamara would have been my choice but they stopped us playing and the worrying bit is they didn't have to work too hard to win.

Clark is a bitter twisted hypocritical clown who obviously only hears sectarian chanting when we beat them, it's pathetic, can't wait till he gets brenda job and loses it completely 🇬🇧.
