Davis deal agreed. 1st fantastic piece of business of the window. Hopefully another few more to be added to push us over the line.

Just seen on a sports channel that it might be a 6 month loan deal to start with, maybe the wage drop is just too much, and he’ll sign for free after loan period?

2.) 02 Jan 2019 14:30:06
It was just on BBC Ulster that Davis is at Ibrox talking transfer ( either loan or transfer ) if you look at it he’s out of contract in 6 months so it would be sensible on his part to sign on loan thus getting his £60,000 per week for the loan period then signing under Rangers wage offer, but just to drop from £60,000 when there is another scenario on offer is just plain stupid. Either way he is still signing.

Where are all the Gerrard haters today?
I've been saying for weeks that we need to get behind this guy and say with him for the long haul. It will be a gradual process but yesterday was a big hurdle and how we jumped that hurdle with style.

If we can get a creative playmaker in and another goalscorer in, along with Dorrans and Murphy coming back I think we'll be in a real good place.

Yesterday was a great day for all us bluenoses and I for one felt like a kid on Christmas eve.

55 is on the horizon lads, let's get right behind the team and push them over the line for the last 5 months.

1.) 30 Dec 2018 11:40:12
I’ve never really seen any Gerrard haters on seen people whingeing listen Gerrard will be top manager but he’s learning so making mistakes along the way but as I say he will be top manager most of us are behind him. next games on 19 th scottishcup game away. Then 2 tough away games starting on 23rd Kilmarnock then Livingston so need hit the ground running we will probably see a few new players coming in and few going . a well earned rest now recharge battery’s for second half season.

2.) 30 Dec 2018 14:03:38
To fair i do not think there was a lot of hate for gerrard it was just the way the team was performing and the lack of him changing things.
Like its said above he will learn and has showing yesterday he can change tactics.
But he also said he wants the team to have that kind of performance every week and that Seems to be our problem consitency.
But hopefully with few players added in jan and a settled team the second half of season we will see the best of this team and gerrard.

3.) 30 Dec 2018 14:37:57
I think we all want Gerrard to stay, i personally haven't heard of anyone wanting rid of him. Gerrard is young and will make mistakes, he will learn by those mistakes because he's a winner and wants to succeed. I just hope that King will do his bit and come good with the funds to take us forward.

4.) 30 Dec 2018 14:50:02
where are all the gerrard haters? all back on their own site i would imagine!

5.) 30 Dec 2018 16:17:30
I often criticised Gerrard but never said I hated the guy. But yesterday he got everything spot on couldn’t fault players or management. Andy Halliday motm for me yesterday what a turn around in him.

6.) 30 Dec 2018 17:19:43
Darenk23,if you've read any my posts this month of december, you will see that i've also stated as much as regards to our good young manager steven gerrard! I said it long before our victory over celtic yesterday mate! He most definitely will take us back to challenge them strongly and remember he's only just started, with only 1 transfer window to his name!

7.) 30 Dec 2018 18:23:37
Who are all these mythical gerrard haters? Who has actually said that they want gerrard out? I have read neither on here. Yes some have questioned his subs and line ups at times, and rightly so. Great win yesterday, the manner of the win will do wonders for our mentality, we had to win. But one win does not mean gerrard or us are world beaters we have to perform like we did yesterday consistently then we will have a right good chance at the title. Mcrorie jack arfield have to be the midfield, bossed it. 👍.

8.) 30 Dec 2018 19:10:42
Derek, I've never evenue saw a post from you till this one. I'm with coldo, I've not saw all the Gerrard haters some are going on about. I've saw people getting a bit pissef off but only becsuse we've been chucking points away left right n centre. We will have our bumps along the road but I've said on here before we need to give him at least 2 full seasons, 4 transfer windows to put his own plan plans and players in place.

9.) 30 Dec 2018 19:31:03
Think he deserves at least till end of next season for yous. Yous were in a massive hole last year and he is rebuilding your club.

What was so disappointing tonight was the sheer lack of urgency or quality to even get forward in a must win game. We need some sort of cutting edge in the middle of the park.

24 Jun 2018 14:35:54
Rangers in for Phil Foden. Looks tidy but another midfielder, surely we should be looking at strikers now.

1.) 24 Jun 2018 15:01:45
I’m sure Stevie G is fully aware that we need a striker or two .

You're right it's in our blood, it's in our nature and it's in our history but if we keep sacking managers, paying them off and bring in new managers that would need money our club will be history. Where is the realism?
We don't have the money to keep doing this.
We're in a position that we need to give Gerrard time and also time to gel and mold a team.

We're all desperate for success but I believe it will come if we can stick it out and give him time but the team needs our support and not feel us on their back if we're not 2 up inside 20 minutes.

We can't just keep changing managers. Dear Lord give the guy a couple of seasons. No matter who was in charge we were never going to be top of the league straight away. The board are trying to back him so we need to also. Let's get behind him rather than going for his throat after 1 transfer window. Some fans need to get real or go glory hunting elsewhere.

I'd take the lad in a heartbeat. its zero risk for us. For all we know he could become the next Vardy. I doubt we'll have a lot of money to spend in January so it's a wise move for me.

Spot on Scotty_dog
I find myself about 5 times a game saying pull the trigger!
Only for it to go backwards or out wide. That's where we let ourselves down because we slow our game down in the final 3rd all the time.

Let's see if we get some cutting edge in during this transfer window and someone that can let a shot go when it's not on.

It was a stone wall penalty, I thought the team played some lovely football but once again we only have Alfredo to score the goals and win us the games. We need a Harry Wilson type that can score from outside the box.

How many shots or goals have we had from outside the box this season?

We always want to walk the ball into the net.

Not sure who we could get but feel that's a major piece of the puzzle we're missing.
