Hear we have won the race to sign the 17yr old Finnish winger Serge Atakayi.
One for the youth side.

At least we are making moves for youth players these days :)

ED, is there any talk of Scott Allen coming to Gers? Promising young Scot, on a free transfer, who also happens to be a Rangers fan and has stated he would love to come to the club. Would much rather see this type of player being signed for us with a potential sell on fee than 36 year old strikers and 31 year old midfielders (Don Cowie)

{Ed039's Note - He is rated by the coaching staff but his wage would be a problem, especially in the current budget)

Warburton just been interviewed and categorically denied RVP coming to Gers. No interest, no enquiry, no deal.
Move on people, he is out of our pay scale.

What a surprise!

IMO If a player has made his money, serious money, and is playing in the States, If he realises he has 2-3yrs left at top level he may want to play them wage cut and all experiencing an Old Firm. That's the only way I can fathom Villa RVP Lampard or whoever coming to Glasgow. Why spend remainder of careers playing Portland Timbers in a country that football is the 4th sport AND could prob go back there after doing so. Barton could've went somewhere else for money and I'm thinking the same for Nico, there is also the chance of CL. But just to be part of a team challenging and winning Cups with passionate supporters who will giv u the biggest buzz would be a very hard thing to ignore. I think it comes down to the player and their decision of money or that feeling that they got during their careers in Europe, kinda difficult to explain when your talking about a player going from 70-80-90k+ a week to 20k but these guys who we would be in the market for are 31-32yrs+ and must have more than enough £££ and guys like Villa Lampard have grown up knowing about the Gers especially the latter and lots more out there. Warbs and McParland havva sumfina acookin up ;)

And you're in a better position to judge that than the manager FD? Boy has had flashes of good play but generally looks disinterested. Personally I'll let Caixhina be the judge of if he's good enough or not.

Paterson has 5 caps for Scotland, so I suppose that'll make him an international player too.

Reilly is on loan to Dunfermline, has been for a couple of weeks. Either your source is speaking out his hoop or this is just part of your imagination.

He's played centre mid for West Brom and Northern Ireland. At his age I doubt he'd be classing himself as a winger any longer.
If Warburton thinks he's good enough then that's fine with me, if he checks with you first though, obviously.

Get a grip @Barrymidleton! Dave King should allow us a say in who comes in?!?! Don't think I've ever read such a ridiculous comment on these pages, and it's usually full of a few beauty's. Dave King won't get a say in who is coming in, he'll just be handing over the funds to our MANAGER to purchase who he sees fit to wear the jersey. His track record hasn't been too shabby so far.
Much rather that than letting a few Football Manger 2016 experts cast their votes. As I said, get a grip!
