I hope I'm wrong but we had a great chance to win the league, Celtic have dropped a lot of points that I don't think they will drop next season, also should have qualified from our group in europa opposition was the greatest.

Celtic ain't far apart now from where they were at this point last season. But yeah, their poor start could have cost them.

Not sure about league but could easily have got out of Europa League group. Aberdeen have turned us over so many times this year they : must have better players, or/ and better tactics. I would take McKenna in s heartbeat, -Goldson and him would form our backbone, and would also take Shinnie but we desperately need attacking midfielders-arfield is so missed when he's not on pitch and Morelos needs him.

Better manager.

With all due respect Theswagman,
steven gerrard most definitely deserves more time as our manager, to rebuild us! Everyone makes mistakes,
even more so for a manager in his first big managerial job! He'll have learned which current players he can trust to continue this journey with him and who can't! Of course your perfectly entitled to your opinion mate, but i firmly back our manager to remain and like i've said before,
have every confidence, given time,
he'll take rangers where we all want to be!

Aberdeen's success rates against us are tactically easy to comprehend. Physical presence, 10 men behind the ball and an ability to catch us on the break. The current Rangers team has too many defensive midfielders and not enough direct attacking players to cope. Our goals ratio against set pieces and corners is a shocking statistic, which really doesn't help either. We can see what's wrong but we won't be able to fix it until the transfer window opens again. SG knows what he needs to correct it, but it will all come down to money availability once again. I want Rangers to become the force it once was, but I feel it will take a wee while to achieve. Hope I'm wrong though fellow bears. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง.

You need to remember that stevie g has wasted a fortune already so stevie g will have to up his game in the market๐Ÿ‘.

Super, this shouldn't be a job managers cut their teeth on. And his lack of ability to do basic things. First game of the season, kids know you don't make a sub when defending a corner. He has zero tactical ability, never makes any tweaks dependent on opposition, his subs rarely if ever make any difference, and his idea of motivation is constantly slating his players in public.

What, like Souness?

It's time now to ditch the loan players, season done get players in who are contracted and see if they're up to it, I don't think Stevie is up to it no tactics on changes things when game is over.

Kent?

I wouldn't be so quick to make wholesale changes until mathematically impossible to win league, however unlikely it may seem.

3.) 14 Mar 2019 10:23:12
Mitchy we have loan players because we are skint.

Again manager too late to make a change I was thinking after 30 mins get Defoe on he would have put any some of they chances not good enough.

Time to be honest, should have qualified from europa league group teams we played were average, league form is poor i'm starting to doubt our manager, team selection, timing of subs abaility to change tactics who's desicion was it to sign Grezda he had been injured since may hard to watch fear the worst for Saturday.

I agree, he is inexperienced in mamagement and that shows, we keep playing the same formation and he keeps thinking tbe results are going to improve, candyass, middleton keep throwing balls into the box for who? Morelos, not a prolific headerer of the ball. Good managers adapt, i can see the old warburton thinking coming to mind . Worrying times ahead .

For anyone who thinks gerrard is doing a good job I'd say tommy wright and Steve Clarke are doing better with a lot less resources.
