johnjag, what bidding war, we made a higher offer than them, Stubbs just wouldn't sell to us. What makes you think the boy will play in the Group Stages with them either. How can you say Rangers never made a realistic bid for Scott Allen? £250K for a championship player that can be signed for zilch on a pre-contract in Jan.Think of a Scottish prem player sold to a close at the time rival for the same dosh under the same circs, who,one Gary Mackay-Steven. Only difference, the cosy "relationship" between the clubs involved.

Can the club not buy the strips then re-sell them for an extra £10.If it's possible I would buy knowing the club were getting the dosh. Probably not possible ,but worth a thought.
