Josh Windass is a summer target for English trio Fleetwood, MK Dons and Peterborough

Quality teams in for our player. I used to wanthe the best possible money for our players now I would be glad to see most of them gone for a 2bob mix.

pappabendy

1.) 09 Jun 2017 08:45:40
He w ugh do you think he's worth realistically? I'd be more than ntetested in loaning him out as he has potential

2.) 09 Jun 2017 09:55:38
If he has all this potential then why is it only league one clubs interested in him? It's Because that's his level don't understand how people can't just let go of these rubbish players it's like keep garner keep dodoo keep windlass keep crooks keep holt it's ridiculous this is a fresh start they all need to go.

3.) 09 Jun 2017 12:22:57
Mad ped's got the right idea imo.

Bring in the new boys, see if they rest raise their game and analyse them alongside the better talent.

Think it's unfair to "they all need to go".

Having said that, if all the deals go through (Pena, Herrera, Candeias, Dorrans, Morelos), I still feel we need a right back with defending attributes.

Apart from that, it's lookin rosey.

4.) 09 Jun 2017 14:56:01
Pedro is not bringing in new players and hopeing the others raises there game he is getting them in asap for the Euro qualitying he will now exactly who he wants to leave already and there is nothing they can do about it it's two little to late they had 11 games to show him something.

5.) 09 Jun 2017 15:02:17
What's unfair is fans paying hard earned money and paying to go and watching them play pish every week then them come out in the media saying a load of drizzle then playing rubbish again the week after so for me they all had there chance and if a 37year old miller can take his chance and prove his worth then these guys who all apparently have all this hidden talent couldant show it over a 38 game season 🤔 Get the lot of them out!

6.) 09 Jun 2017 15:58:00
I read Ped likes a small squad of around 23 players. Surely he's not bringing 23 new players to Ibrox in this window.

So I hope to heck the original players do raise their game.

Who would you like to see staying and fighting for their place?

7.) 09 Jun 2017 18:04:34
I would like to see Tav (but not as a RB. only as a right mid) stay as long as we get a proper RB along with Windass who has shown potential at times, Crooks who has never had a proper chance, Holt as a squad player along with young ones like Dodoo Aidan Wilson, Burt, Bar jonas, Hardie and maybe Thompson. In fact only definitely get rid of those who have reached their level in the Championship like Kiernan, Halliday, Forrester, Waghorn and MOH and that waste of money, Garner.

8.) 09 Jun 2017 18:49:00
Joe dodoo should be the first to go! Seems like a player with a good attitude and is trying his hardest but as a footballer he's terrible, really poor player.

28 May 2017 23:42:21
We all know about cardoso being linked with rangers but PC is raiding benfica fir another 2 players

Dalcio, a 21 year old Benfica B forward, is put forward as the next player to be joining Cardoso, and his move to Rangers is pencilled in as a season long loan.

Daniel Candeias, a 29 year old winger, spent last season on loan at Turkish club Alanyaspor, and he's also being lined up for Rangers, although it's not sure if he'll move on a loan or permanent basis.

pappabendy

1.) 29 May 2017 00:40:48
All these rumours and links and yet no signings, no money perhaps lol

2.) 29 May 2017 01:29:01
We can't sign anyone contracted to another club untill June 9th can get all paperwork sorted and agreements done and that seems to be what we are doing but we will haft to wait to officially sign them. Can only sign free agents which Is why jack will be the first signing probably on June 1 when he is officially classed a free agent.

3.) 29 May 2017 10:28:42
ill be very happy if cardoso will sign. young tall no nonsense type of player. loads of potential.

4.) 29 May 2017 10:37:45
also, is jack 100% coming to us?

5.) 29 May 2017 10:58:36
Dont know Don't Care but Yes Jack is coming just hope he isn't another good player at another club but Crap for the Gers like so many before him that can't handle the step up in class and size of club and expectations of supporters, and of Team and Manager, but We will see i guess?

6.) 29 May 2017 11:17:19
We have tall strong no nonsense defender already at club- David Bates.

7.) 29 May 2017 12:23:55
Bates is a good young defender but will take time yo mature. Giving him game time alongside a top quality centre back like Alves, (if we can secure his signature), would be a major benefit to developing Bates.

Also, having a top quality midfield with quality back up midfield players, (something we haven't had for some time), will also help the defence, including the full backs bot of who suffered from a lack of support from both their centre backs and their wingers last season.

So long as we get the players that Pedro is after, (and they are his first choices), then we should have a set of players that, so long as they gel together), will be more than good enough to challenge for the SPL.

8.) 29 May 2017 12:28:42
Bates is rubbish

9.) 29 May 2017 12:43:24
He's a youngster give him a chance

10.) 29 May 2017 13:17:52
He needs to go out on loan to prove if he can be good enough but what iv seen of him so far he is not.

11.) 29 May 2017 20:36:54
A few things!
Bates is indeed crap.
Dalcio is a benfica reserve with an amazing goal ratio, 1 goal in 30 full games, yes 30!
If that's what our ambitions are then I'll never renew my season ticket.
Naismith no chance and now we are without a shirt sponsor, wtf is going on?

12 May 2017 12:46:50
FIVE Rangers Academy Players will depart the club this summer to play their football elsewhere.

Max Ashmore, Jordan Gibson, Amin Bouzaig, Sam Jamieson and Josh Jeffries, who all played their football either in the development squad or on loan, will now develop their careers elsewhere.

pappabendy

1.) 12 May 2017 13:59:37
Good luck to the boys. I can't help feeling regret at the opportunity lost when we went down in not playing youth, I know these boys would have been too young but if the thought of an opertunity was their you would have maybe got an extra 10/ 20% out of them in their development therefore making them just that wee bit better now especially watching boys a few years older coming through the ranks the same as yourself. Good luck boys this ain't the end just the beginning of your careers and hard work does pay off and you may make it back

2.) 12 May 2017 14:13:59
Wee Josh is some player. Wish them all the best with their Careers.

3.) 12 May 2017 20:41:17
If wee josh is some player why is he being released?

4.) 13 May 2017 02:31:52
So Bears do we think that Atayaki will get on against Hearts tomorrow? And do we think he SHOULD! I do.
This lad has done really well in the Unders and could do a job fir us on the Wing.
Only way I can see him getting on is if we are 2-3 up with 20-25min to go but fingers crossed.
We have the bases of a good young team coming through but they need a chance and they could save us a hell of a lot of cash!
Beerman Bates Barjonas Burt Rudden Dallas Atayaki. All could break through

09 May 2017 19:31:44
St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright has urged his chairman to try and resign Michael O'Halloran.

pappabendy

1.) 09 May 2017 19:43:58
2 ginger bottles will be plenty

2.) 09 May 2017 19:52:29
No loss -never a footballer. Sums Warburton up paying £500k and he never played. Free up a wage for next season.

3.) 09 May 2017 21:19:44
Agreed I knew when we signed him he would have been a waste of miney

4.) 09 May 2017 22:48:53
All speed no ability

5.) 09 May 2017 23:15:31
I really wanted him to do well for us but it just didn't work out and to pay £500,000 for him was daylight robbery

6.) 10 May 2017 06:07:57
Would prefer to see him out of the league. Players like that have a nasty habit of coming back and biting you on the behind. Remember why we bought him in the first place. He tore us a new one!

7.) 10 May 2017 12:28:56
i don't think he's had a shot on target for us, he's so terrible.

8.) 10 May 2017 16:58:28
Shows you how bad our defence was then when MOH tore us apart.

07 May 2017 10:00:17
Vladimir Weiss will not be joining the club in the summer transfer window

The Portuguese coach has claimed that to sign Weiss, we would have to pay Al-Gharafa a transfer fee of £2.7 million.

pappabendy

1.) 07 May 2017 11:18:27
And this came from where? I don't think personally we could pay his expected wages anyway
I read scouts are watching u-17 championship, anybody been watching.

2.) 07 May 2017 14:39:12
@Lego Caixinha himself.

3.) 07 May 2017 15:41:12
£2.7m is not a lot. If King had any ambition for the club then he would happily pay that for Weiss out of his own picket. After all, this is the guy that promised so much to improve the team and so far has delivered so little

4.) 07 May 2017 17:42:54
King has to put his money where his mouth is now or rethink his position.

5.) 07 May 2017 19:35:30
Why would King invest large sums of money when he only owns around 15% of the shares? The shareholders did not support him at the last AGM. He is right not to spend his money so the other 85% can benefit from an increase in the share price.

6.) 07 May 2017 20:51:56
Perhaps a resolution at the next AGM that while club needs funds, all shareholders should pay 5p per share held (approx 90,000,000 shares would raise £4.5m) as no doubt shareholders expect a dividend when times are good.

7.) 07 May 2017 22:49:51
If 2.7mill is his asking price I'm sure you could get him for 2million if he really wants to go and puts up abit of a fuss and tbh prices these days a player of his standard for 2mill is not that much.

8.) 08 May 2017 17:28:00
I'd love to have Vlad back but not at that price!

9.) 11 May 2017 16:27:16
I don't personally think that Weiss was all that, I love the fact that he loves The Gers, but I feel we as fans slightly over rate the guy

Norwich are wanting 1.5m for dorrans. I personally don't think that is good but then again I don't watch any other team play apart from rangers and have boycotted Scotland matches for a few years now.

pappabendy

1.) 31 May 2017 08:28:30
Dorrans has missed half the season and yet still has had a good season at Norwich. The guy is a good football player, one who should be in the starting 11 of the Scotland squad.

2.) 31 May 2017 08:52:08
Norwich were all set to release him so I doubt they'll want anymore than 200k

3.) 31 May 2017 14:47:30
Norwich fans want to keep him, and some suggested on twitter they'd rather have Howson leave.

Fans are fickle but i think Dorrans would be a great piece of business.

25 May 2017 07:23:32
Rangers target Paulinho has signed for braga.

That's a bit of a shame I was looking forward to him wearing the the famous blue. I wonder how many more of our targets we will miss out on.

pappabendy

1.) 25 May 2017 09:05:42
All of the over ambitious ones we probably all want

2.) 25 May 2017 09:36:36
Who said he was a target? How did we 'miss out' if he wasn't? Stop believing the papers.

3.) 26 may 2017 14:09:43
we wont know who our atrgets truely are untill next week.
but i hope alves comes and naisy and wiess and jack and this new mexican chap i'd take him aswell

17 May 2017 09:56:21
Nearly choked on my corn flakes this morning and almost pissed my self with laughter as I read that rangers legend set for 6/ 5 on coming back to the club. Then I thought who?

Kyle lafferty. when did he become a legend? More like leg-end.

pappabendy

1.) 18 May 2017 10:41:45
No disrespect papa but if kyle comes back will he still b a leg end scoring last min goal against celtic or winner for cup or winner put gers in europa league group stage? I think not

2.) 18 May 2017 11:23:41
sorry but these papers don't get to decide who's is a legend and who isn't that's us fans that do that and lafferty was and disgrace to the club plus he has went down hill not got better from what I've seen and don't call into the euros because he done okay but not good enough club level

14 May 2017 08:12:20
RANGERS tonight announced that they have withdrawn from the Development League for season 2017/ 18.Instead the Ibrox club will organise a series of friendly matches against English and European opposition in an attempt to fast track younger players into the Rangers first team.

Head of Academy, Craig Mulholland, has been given the green light by the SPFL and also has received the permission of the SFA with the new Performance Director, Malky MacKay signaling his approval.

Rangers will not withdraw from the domestic game entirely as they will be participating at under-20s level in the Scottish FA Youth Cup and SPFL Challenge Cup.

However Rangers hope to attract glamour matches against the like of Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Southampton and hope that these sides will be able to provide a decent challenge for the young Ibrox stars of the very near future.

pappabendy

1.) 14 May 2017 12:56:24
is this really a good move when we supposedly are skint?

these will cost us money and not bring in any?

from footy perspective could be nice though

2.) 14 May 2017 13:59:11
This is a bold and brave move which will certainly reap dividends in the next 5-10 years, either in getting players through or placing them in the shop window. It will ensure they have an early knowledge of different tactics, formations, approaches and philosophies that apply in other European countries, making them more valuable to a wider market. I hope they tag education on to this, teach them language skills and media skills to help their full development. Well done to the development team!

07 May 2017 19:25:46
I for one am glad that the bread man managed to keep forest in the championship. Just means that when he comes to buy our players it will be more appealing to the player to join a championship team rather than a league one outfit.

pappabendy

1.) 07 May 2017 19:31:18
We can only hope that he wants to bring most of those that he brought to us move on to Forrest and that he is willing to pay a transfer fee for them!

Pedro needs serious money for new players and without that investment he will just be another failure, and so it will continue.

2.) 07 May 2017 19:40:14
He won't come in for our players. He has his daughter's clients on cushy deals already.

3.) 07 May 2017 19:45:30
If he takes any of the clowns he signed for us he will definitely be relegated next season.

4.) 07 May 2017 20:02:06
Would've been better if they'd gone down! They are League One level players that will not be bought by a Championship club!

5.) 07 May 2017 21:12:51
Hope he takes tavernier

6.) 07 May 2017 23:00:59
The problem is warbs knows how skint we are so he won't bid much money for any player he wants.
