there are always so many names thrown around that are always BS, but somehow i think the Jelavic one may happen, or is it wishful thinking?

1.) 10 Feb 2017 16:47:36
Personally don't think it will, latter stages of his career will probably be looking to seek one last move with a good sized salary something which we couldn't offer for obvious reasons. Certainly someone I would be thrilled with if he did join our ranks again someone who can actually put the ball in the net on a regular basis.

2.) 10 Feb 2017 17:09:34
Id offer him 20k a week but double it if he hits the back of the net 20 times before end of the season lol

3.) 10 Feb 2017 17:52:35
He's only 31. Its not that old

4.) 10 Feb 2017 19:32:53
If the rumours are true that MW isn't allowed to offer Miller and Hill new one year contracts because of uncertainty over his future I'd be shocked if he was then allowed to spend £20k+ wages on Jelavic. Having said that, I'd love it if this happened. Proper striker.

5.) 10 Feb 2017 20:33:11
The Board has an interesting dilemma if rumours are true. Either they go for Jelavic with a fairly low risk that he won't score goals or they stay as is with a fairly high risk that they won't score goals. The latter might well see them finish fourth or fifth!

6.) 10 Feb 2017 17:36:47
gazzmclau he's 31 atm not a bad age. Would love to see him back at ibrox too

7.) 10 Feb 2017 18:42:13
Jelavic was a bit slow first time around being a bit older i don't know i'd rather we went for someone younger and build for the future and not live in the past

re rumour on chasing southend keeper David Bentley, have friends from that neck of the woods who say give it everything to get him as he is absolute cracker.

rangeken

1.) 20 May 2016 13:37:40
I don't think we will get him if their is reports Everton Bournemouth and Norwich want him and they have been told to pay 3 million for him I think he would be a cracking signing to but I just don't think it will happen.

2.) 20 May 2016 13:51:12
Agreed, he's an excellent young keeper, could be world class with some time and experience.

3.) 20 May 2016 15:20:16
Has Fod really been that bad? He is by no means Steffan or Goram but I would be content having him starting between the sticks next season with the young lad in the youth team deputising.

4.) 20 May 2016 16:26:50
£3million? He's out of contract.

5.) 20 May 2016 16:27:53
Rangeken mw daid in todays paper he is not interested in that keeper.

6.) 20 May 2016 21:08:23
He's out of contract but as with rossiter his fee would be peanuts as it's cross boarder. Teams In England would need to pay the development fee supposedly 3 million.

got so much abuse for saying this yonks ago, but i will repeat. Mckay is a passenger that right now we can not carry, he sh. ts everything that is a 50/ 50, his final ball is a non event, and do not gives us ''a young boy'' patter, he is 22, Tavernier gets constant abuse and i would have him somewhere in the eleven way before barry

rangeken

1.) 03 Apr 2017 09:33:48
He still has massive potential but is far to inconsistent. Maybe another spell on the side lines is required.

2.) 03 Apr 2017 10:11:00
I reckon playing him through the middle would be the better option, there we would really see his true potential.

3.) 03 Apr 2017 12:02:32
I've been at every home game this season and Barrie McKay has
been well below what we expected from him, the team as a whole has been really poor but Barrie has not kicked a ball since the Tim game at Ibrox when he tore Lustig a new aperture, IMO he does not merit being in the team and Saturday confirmed that for me, Chris Cadden has shown up better than Barry on all previous meetings this season and his strength and pace shows just how powder puff Barry is, the midfield again shown to be too lightweight and easily brushed aside, Pedro has his work cut out getting better quality players in the door but a bigger job getting rid of the pile of dross that Warburton has left us.

4.) 03 Apr 2017 14:09:06
Due to our finances I must admit I think if a decent bid came in for McKay I would take it but what is a decent bid 3m? If the lad played down South I think people would be saying 5m SO what your thoughts Bears on a fee for Barry?

Every player is for sale at Ibrox I hope Warbs comes in for some players ideally Kiernan but I think Tavs will be on his radar AND the cheeky sod will try us with 500k bet ye but I think Tavs will go but not for anything less than 1m and hopefully add ons. Get rid of Wags and Dodoo!

5.) 03 Apr 2017 14:24:48
I think pedro needs to restructure his game, maybe put him on the right but it comes from the player.

6.) 03 Apr 2017 15:59:42
Aye a seven stone winger should be flying into tackles willy nilly. Even on a bad day McKay can set up chances that really should be converted. I recall three good chances on Saturday and four the last game. Teams know about the danger he can cause and double and treble up on him. Is it just me but I reckon he is the quickest and most skilful player at the club and most on here want him dropped. Be careful what you wish for

7.) 03 Apr 2017 16:09:04
Shugie, he's not been well below what I expected of him, or those around me expected of him. We realised very early on that he was getting very close or even past his level. He's been poor simply because he can't take his game any further, he has run out of 'potential' and now what you see is the player. Nowhere near good enough.

8.) 03 Apr 2017 16:11:55
I agree, McKay ain't up for a scrap, his final ball is crap, he bottles every 50/ 50 tackle, he just isn't consinstant enough

9.) 03 Apr 2017 16:31:46
id play mckay through the middle too or at least on the right side so he can cross a ball

24 Mar 2017 15:40:22
have feeling if it was b. ferguson or j. brown that was coming to us it would have been agreed by now

rangeken

1.) 24 Mar 2017 21:35:24
let him interview all the candidates first

2.) 24 Mar 2017 22:53:42
I'm hoping it's Alex Rae by far best candidate.

3.) 24 Mar 2017 22:55:55
Its got to be Barry for me

4.) 24 Mar 2017 23:42:50
How many are still to be interviewed?

26 Aug 2016 23:30:54
first thing i would do is drop mckay and tell him until he stops shirking every 50/ 50 he will not be playing again, think he is beginning to believe lots of BS said/ written about him.

rangeken

1.) 27 Aug 2016 03:04:52
Think McKay is vastly overrated and would say Scottish championship is his level. Would much rather see Forrester or dodoo playing in his position.

2.) 27 Aug 2016 07:15:40
Jesus dodoo who has played less than 1 half of football or a Scottish international winger?

3.) 27 Aug 2016 10:20:11
I though Barry McKay was poor again up until the last 20 minutes or so then he started running at defenders and getting to the by line and crossing it in which is what he should be doing more often, but I agree I think he needs to be benched and brought on as an impact player for the last 20/ 30 minutes or so and give MOH his place to give him a run in the team because he seems to lack a bit of confidence for me, I think that would help both players out.

Have feeling that Lee Gregory may still be in the frame for possible move to us.

rangeken

1.) 01 Aug 2016 16:02:23
will griggs on fire lol.

28 Jul 2016 16:50:25
Lee gregory put in transfer request from millwall early this month and it was said it was in order to move to rotherham, i posted at that time saying hoped the transfer request was factual but the rotherham comment was not, as i was hoping he was striker we were after. as far as i know he is still at millwall, so here's hoping.

gmartin8, Crouch has shown he can handle himself against some of the best/ hardest defenders who have much more ability/ dig than anything up here, would take him in a heartbeat.

no problem with me if he goes, have no time for a player that will not dig in, cr? s every single 50/ 50, and as we are just now we cannot afford to carry guys like that

cannot believe this sudden constant knocking of wallace, lots of short memories. i would have him in my team anywhere before the so called star winger who has given nothing since one game that made him untouchable,

spot on parky7720, have not a clue why a favorite of many fans, flatters to deceive, shirks every 50/ 50. seems never to get stick when he has a stinker (more than most) others get dogs abuse, and this he is just a young lad is cr. p, i have no doubt i would drop him

bluedrama, think your mate will have him at long odds, after all that dynamic thinking and then has Halliday in his line up.
