Anyone heard anything regarding Kyle fox buying shares and money men from Hong Kong, there was a lot of chatter a few month back but silence now. Does anyone know if there will be fresh money coming in, john27 you're in the know have you heard anything?

1.) 30 Dec 2022 23:15:35
It was absolutely nonsense driven by Ibrox News/ football insider for clicks. Not a single other source was going with that story.

2.) 30 Dec 2022 23:46:54
Fox is the puppet for Cashley. I doubt very much DP or DK (from the outside) will let this happen. As far as I understand no one from HK have any interest in Glasgow Rangers. A lot of investment has gone into our exhibition centre and the Rangers shop will be a bar for fans and a sleeping giant has interest in this!

3.) 31 Dec 2022 10:35:04
Robbie, the voting at agm and passing of resolution enabling Rangers board ro select investors with best interest off our club a heart

White horse our business model indicates museum and bar will remain in board rangers control and generate significant revenue for the club.

4.) 31 Dec 2022 11:32:34
Significant revenue? In the region of what per annum? (Profit Wise) just curious.

5.) 31 Dec 2022 13:04:30
Whitehorse, as you might be aware from my previous post I do not believe that Kyle Fox has a Business Relationship with Ashley.
I have been reaching out to contacts in Miami and while Fox has contacts in the UK there is no indication that Ashley is one of them. Her main connections are in South and Central America and the USA although she also has connections in the Far East and in Italy.
The vast majority of her connections are in the construction Industry.
From what I have heard there has been interest, (not Kyle Fox related), from Hong Kong although that seems to have gone quiet due to current UK / China Relationships and the situation in Hong Kong. There has also been rumoured interest from Singapore and I heard before the AGM that there were wealthy investors closer to home that were interested.

6.) 31 Dec 2022 13:23:52
2 blue betwee 2-3 million per season, plus midweek takings from bar.

7.) 31 Dec 2022 13:25:34
Berkshire I know of three peaople in Scotland who r hovering, one is ex whisky man who sold his business for 300 million.

8.) 31 Dec 2022 14:21:24
John that's pretty good can buy a player with that. Thanks for info.

9.) 31 dec 2022 14:25:24
if i guessed ian mcoll and keir sword, would i be a million miles away john.

10.) 31 dec 2022 14:51:08
of course i meant jim mcoll.

11.) 31 Dec 2022 14:53:50
Mcoll is involved, no info re other name.

12.) 31 Dec 2022 14:54:29
2blue. Also helps us re income generation and ffp.

13.) 31 Dec 2022 14:55:25
Profit lol a museum and bar are you serious bar will do okish but if there is cheaper options elsewhere and a museum will be a disaster and a waste of revenue space with the money for staffing and electric and other what kinda price would you have to charge to make that work whoever thought this up is an idiot.

Look at the cinemas as an example they are dying because films appear online within weeks of cinema and sometimes before a museum really! Who is going to pay for a ticket for something they can look up online idiotic foolishness.

14.) 31 Dec 2022 15:14:32
Gofor u simply don’t have a clue how business operates

I think multi millionaires like park, Bennett, Wolthardt Scott know bit more than u.

Can u explain your model to generate income to offset ffp.

15.) 31 Dec 2022 15:41:31
Ffs ?‍♂️ gofor yeah I think the rangers board should have just asked you instead of doing their homework eh? ?.

16.) 31 Dec 2022 15:44:23
I would buy a ticket for the museum experience plus I am led to believe it has the capacity for a live venue holding 2 thousand ( not sure the exact fig)
The other venues in glasgow are doing not to bad and indeed the hydro is top three in the world so the revenue is there if marketed wisely .
Plus we own the deeds .

17.) 31 Dec 2022 15:47:47
Gofer, the new complex will be a major earner and the museum will be a big plus as well for football fans that have an affinity with our Club. We just need to ensure that it is properly managed which was one of the problems with the old Rangers Club.
John, I had heard of two possible guys that are in the Spirits Trade, (but as far as I am aware their respective Businesses in still in Family hands) .

18.) 31 Dec 2022 16:06:06
cool berkshire. i’m just going on what john bennett said.
if we transfer ownership to an individual it obviously stops being a ongoing revenue stream for club.

u would imo need to sell both assets for in excess of 50 million.
notwithstanding museum is asset guarantee to john bennett re his loan overdraft facility at present.

19.) 31 Dec 2022 16:12:28
Gofor I love you pessimistic attitude. There are Rangers bars successful all over the world with what couple thousand in passing trade and you think a Rangers bar and museum owned by our club a stones throw away from our stadium will fail. Not only will it get the match day business it will also get business from fans visiting the shop, going on stadium tours and the founders tour. This bar will either be the start or end of any tour involving Ibrox or a Rangers pub crawl in Glasgow. The museum will house artifacts that won't be seen anywhere else in the world. Will more than likely have players there on a regular basis with events on regularly. This will be a goldmine because there is no way the Rangers family will let it be anything else.

20.) 31 dec 2022 16:42:23
been a long time since i saw such an ignorance re, business, it was seriously successful business people who are doing this

you have them down as “ idiots” wow

how’s your business goino mate.

21.) 31 dec 2022 16:43:13
i think keir sword may be interesting, mcoll definitely.

22.) 31 Dec 2022 17:08:21
Must say I have to agree regarding the bar/ museum. If its a club ran bar, people will still chose the louden because there's less restriction on the songs that can and will be sung. Regarding a museum, once people have been once they don't have to go back. People would also rather go and see the trophy room. There's a much easier way to make money. You sell players when they're at their optimal value which we don't do. Kent, morelos and kamara would've got us 45-60m 18 months ago. Would struggle to get 6 now. That's how you make money. Not a museum. 3m or 45m, wonder what's better?

23.) 31 Dec 2022 17:27:16
tj rfc yes sell the crown jewels and win nothing

then you would not be seen for dust.

24.) 31 Dec 2022 17:36:48
John27 I never said it won't remain in control of TGRFC. And you yourself have mentioned the names I am referring to mate!

25.) 31 Dec 2022 18:08:33
So you sell and then don't continue the cycle? John, you're just digging your heals in now. That's where a good scouting and DoF comes in handy, which we haven't seemed to have over recent years. Once they got, you make sure you have the net batch ready to develop for selling. What a ridiculous comment. Expect better from you.

26.) 31 Dec 2022 18:30:16
You can’t see a rangers museum online can you? Can’t believe you can’t see this will make the club fortunes. A waste of money because staff and electricity costs? why don’t all other business shut since they have staff and lecky bills lol madness.

27.) 31 Dec 2022 18:33:01
You can’t sing those type a songs in the louden you get flung out makes me think you don’t go in a lot as they don't accept any songs the club wouldn’t accept. The big owners doesn’t have it. A was in and someone shouted about Scott browns sisters safe to say he got flung out and put in his place.

28.) 31 Dec 2022 18:34:17
You can’t sell players no one has bid for why do our fans keep peddling this we should of sold this one and that one without a bid coming in.

29.) 31 Dec 2022 18:37:07
You can watch rangers games online the stadium still sells out most weeks are those fans fools?

30.) 31 Dec 2022 18:55:54
Bassey1, a nice tirade of putting words in people's mouths there pal. We did receive an offer for morelos, Lilles chairman admitted so on radio. Received an offer in the summer for kamara and then proceeded to not start him for 3 months.

Where exactly did I say it won't make money? Nowhere. I just don't believe it will make ad much to make a viable difference, taking the actual cost into consideration.

What an absolutely ridiculous set of comments Bassey. Verging pathetic.

31.) 31 dec 2022 19:02:21
a triple whammy bassey lol.

32.) 31 Dec 2022 19:38:54
wilson an excellent dof who has made rangers a fortune

tj rfc nothing ridiculous about my view and business acumen

bassey tj in particular at the wind up.

33.) 31 Dec 2022 19:49:34
45-60m for Kanara, Kent and Morelos? TJRFC I'll have some of what you're on!

Did anyone put a bid in for them?

You work on the assumption that everyone is an idiot. You can't sell a player that no one wants to buy!

34.) 31 Dec 2022 22:22:48
Just don’t see how anyone can be against the new venue Tom it will be great for the club am really looking forward to it opening.

35.) 31 Dec 2022 22:24:50
We weren’t selling Morelos in 10 in a row season. would you rather the 15 million and Celtic take the 10 lol 55 meant more than the offer from lile.

36.) 31 Dec 2022 22:26:10
Don’t think we actually got a offer for kamra just interest. If we got a offer he would of been sold.

37.) 31 dec 2022 23:42:36
i’m not convinced there was ever that offer from lilleeither, the lille chairman’s apparent words mean nothing,

i’m looking forward to the museum too.

38.) 01 Jan 2023 07:32:49
Folk like gofor and tj also seem to be forgetting the amount of revenue the new complex will make hosting live music events and other such similar prospective avenues. But hey, they have inside knowledge and know better than Bisgrove.

39.) 01 Jan 2023 07:37:14
As good as an asset Edmiston may be, TJ is correct the only way we compete is to sell players at their peak. I'm sure Benfica, Porto, Brugge, Ajax and PSV are all happy with their lack of trophies from selling the best players.

That lot across the city will pull light years ahead if we don't start soon. They're willing to sell if you aren't committed with 2 years left.

40.) 01 Jan 2023 08:31:06
Once you have a reputation of furthering guys career and not standing in players way other players are more likely to join. People need to start accepting we are a stepping stone to prem.

Not nice to say as a fan but it's the truth in players eyes at least you'll get the odd one that will come for money or manager but 9/ 10 money talks tjrfc my point exactly with a museum and will family's want to go to a museum that has pub attached ? possible drunks encouraging drinking before or after games is hardly what our club need.

So what happens if people are in this public bar run by rangers and people start singing sectarian songs is this is then bringing the game into disrepute? At the very least there is bound to be some bad press of the back of it.

41.) 01 Jan 2023 08:33:31
If it has a venue or conference hl then it might be ok I guess but still need to go get people to fill it won't be easy in a recession.

42.) 02 Jan 2023 00:12:50
Honestly a rangers museum once 50/ 60k fans have been how often will they be back in 2 years time will start lossing cash rangers will sell it At a massive loss I don’t trust the board either they are business men but did not see that and are there to make cash in the long term best off a bad bunch tho would bet my house that it gets sold to a board member at a heavy loss.

43.) 02 Jan 2023 00:34:52
Tj I for one think we did the right thing in not selling our best players … enabling us to stop terry plus get to a euro final which was amazing.

With the news that Hibs have decided to cut allocations when they play old firm after what they cite "bad behaviour" by rangers fans, I find it atrocious that the SPFL or SFA have not warned them, closed their stadium or deducted points from them for their own fans 'bad behaviour'.

Now in no way do I condone rangers fans for their outdated chants and songbook but to cite that as a "problem" when their own fans have thrown cork screws at Shankland, illegal vapes at Butland and tav (when taking penalty), vodka bottle at a player laying on the pitch injured, missiles lobbed at opposition players taking penalties, Buckie bottles lobbed at Trevor Sinclair all done at the Block 7 end and fan getting onto pitch and attacking Tavernier.

Yet they have the audacity to moan about the songs rangers fans sing and their board acts on it and cuts allocation.

It's a joke. You couldn't mark their necks with a blowtorch. Either their own board or the SFA will have to do something before a player gets seriously hurt at that rubbish hole.

robbielogan

1.) 13 Mar 2024 10:57:30
I actually think it's a positive move and hopefully one that triggers similar actions by other clubs.

2.) 13 Mar 2024 12:44:54
The £6M pound invested must have gone to theirs heads. Cutting away teams allocation will loose them money. It would be better spent on searching home/ away fans before they get into the ground.

3.) 13 Mar 2024 12:58:02
Can't think of a club that hasn't got an element of ar$eholes. It's up to each club to get its own house in order before calling out others.

4.) 13 Mar 2024 13:24:38
The spoon burners need to look in before they look out regarding their supporters behaviour ?I'm not condoning for 1 second that singing those songs by some of our own supporters is alright but the spoon burners have attacked tavernier in the past, threw objects constantly at our players and just missed barisic with an object ?They have a cheek to overlook what they do ?.

5.) 13 Mar 2024 13:24:58
I’ve brought my kids up to now adults to respect all religions and ethnicity.
I find it embarrassing to hear on the TV a minority of idiots sing glory glory to die a _____ when Martin Boyle lies on ground unconscious getting med treatment from both teams doctors.
Let’s get our own house in order but having family that support hibs I know more than anyone they also should concentrate on getting their own house in order.

6.) 13 Mar 2024 14:07:20
They don't drink buckie in Edinburgh robbie. It would have been a vintage bordeaux bottle mate.

7.) 13 Mar 2024 14:29:35
I would be quite happy with it as long as it’s not a free for all at using the legislation against Rangers. If it stopped our clowns singing what we heard on Sunday I’d be happy. But it would need to cover everything. Paramilitary songs, singing about disasters, political statements and celebrating the deaths of individuals, the list could go on and on. But again we need to get our house in order before we start on others.

8.) 13 Mar 2024 15:51:55
I used to live near hampden and shop at asda toryglen. The staff told me often that the support they dreaded most coming to the area was the hibs support. I was disgusted at the singing by our support but hibs really are having a laugh.

9.) 13 Mar 2024 17:33:44
Not for singing these songs in the stadium if it will get the club into trouble, let’s be honest 99% of our support and the same at other clubs have sang these songs at one time, we have seen at european nights we don’t need them to create an atmosphere and would happy to see that happen in the rest of our games, up to those that sing them tho to stop, I would feel two faced pointing the finger when I have done it myself in the past.

10.) 13 Mar 2024 20:51:36
Mind u said that previously Jfm63, I wouldn't go near the spoonbenders, danger of all kinds of Hep or even the "A. Injected. Death. Sentence. They also suffer the "it never happened/ wasn't us" disease the darkside residents have.

15 Mar 2023 20:43:08
I see that Kyle fox has given up on buying into rangers, I know a lot of folk on here believed it was a click bait story but it does seem she wanted in as it's been reported on numerous news sites now. What do you guys think. I see part of her deal was to get access to the data room and boardroom files. Do you guys think this is why they denied to sell to her or whomever she was fronting for.

robbielogan

1.) 15 Mar 2023 22:04:32
Rumour is she was linked to Ashley so the board were right to be cautious . The way the shares are distributed at the moment I don`t see how she would get 20% anyway unless a couple of the major shareholders sold up and I can`t see that happening.

2.) 15 Mar 2023 23:30:52
Ashley will try again.

3.) 15 Mar 2023 23:33:30
A complete unknown with no real interest in football, surely there must be some ulterior motive for her interest if it was ever genuine. Call me old fashioned but I prefer people that actually know something about the great game.

4.) 16 Mar 2023 00:52:15
She is trying to save face, why would any company give access to confidential information to someone they do not want to do business with. the only way you would give access is if there was an agreement to sell percentage of shares, which does not appear to be case.

5.) 16 Mar 2023 08:49:58
Willie, so if a couple of sheiks rolled up, and wanted to guarantee a team in the CL every year, you'd knock them back then?

05 Jan 2023 23:13:51
Does anyone have any idea as to when Tom Lawrence will be back or even what sort of injury he has. We keep hearing about guys like Souter, Roofe and Hagi's recuperation, but nothing on Lawrence. John27 any info on this and any info on incoming players would be much appreciated.

robbielogan

1.) 06 Jan 2023 10:18:21
should be back in the next week or 2 going by what beale said in december.

05 Dec 2022 23:26:57
Hi guys, just my opinion but I would like to see us moving for the boy Ginelly and cammy decline from hearts along with Raskin from liege and maybe Stryek as goalkeeper. Think we also need a unit of a centre half good at attacking the ball at its highest. What do you guys think?

robbielogan

1.) 06 Dec 2022 05:09:41
Wouldn't be against any of that, still think even with Hagi and Laerence to come back though were still screaming out for an out and out right sided winger aswell.

2.) 06 Dec 2022 06:07:04
Am led to believe Beale doesn’t play with wingers q.

3.) 06 Dec 2022 09:27:39
Ginelly makes Scott Wright look like Neymar.

4.) 06 Dec 2022 09:28:00
Yes stormtrooper he doesn't play with width from his wingers, it basically a lam and ram, fullbacks provide the width for his team, as you no he wasn't my first choice but I am taking to him more and more each day hopefully this is the man we need now and gets us our 56 title as soon as possible, I know it's a friendly against bl but can't wait to see how he sets up.

05 Jan 2022 22:23:57
John25 wonder if you know what's happening with the boy Wilson, I know he turns 16 soon, do you know when that is and if it looks likely he'll sign or not?

robbielogan

1.) 05 Jan 2022 23:05:52
16 today.

Tjn why not get him back on loan, he holds the ball well, doesn't hide and always positive, every player has bad games, at tge level we play at unfortunetly we are never going to have the "perfect" player, we look for raw talent and nurture it hopefully making a profit on the way and silva fits that mould even if its just a loan.

Ocjk what are you on. Its guys like you that drives players away from rangers. Always quick to criticise and slow to praise. You are either a tim or what you know about football you could write on the end of an ants cock. Why would any rangers fan make a comment like that. No wonder some players have a crisis of confidence with so called fans like you making comments like that.

Have said this many times. Every deranged tim spouting about "conspiracies" and "agendas" 1 particular tim said to me after the penalties against stat came out that "now everyone in scotland can see there's an "agenda" in the scottish game.

how he said it with a straight face I don't know considering his team got 2 penalties that weekend that weren't penalties.

Then there was the Alistair Johnston dive backwards with arms flailing hand ball that wasn't given,

then there's McLennen handing them a league trophy via zoom, then there's Dundee missing vote and getting the winter break brought forward and Peter Lawells "rousing" speech.

Now if there is an "agenda" then someone forgot to tell McLennen et all and whomever is running this "agenda" needs sacked as whomever it is, is rubbish at handling "agenda's".

Correspondence unfortunetly is an "option" to buy, Diomende is an "obligation" pc will know already if he wants the kid next season and on his brief showings I would take the punt. He looks like he loves to take a player on which I think we need.

Mark his arm was not raised at all. It was down by his side with the elbow bent at 90 degrees across his midrift, when the ball struck his elbow at force causing his arm to move away from its natural silhouette.

Mark the penalty against Lundstrum was not in my opinion a penalty. When you slow the replay down you clearly see lundstrums arm is by his side when the ball hits his arm causing the arm to move away from the natural silhouette. He did not have his arm in an natural position until after the point of impact. How VAR did not flag this to the on field referee advising him to goto the monitor is beyond me. VAR for some reason didn't even look thoroughly at the incident. Probably in my opinion due to all the "Rangers haven't conceded a penalty in 2 years" argument earlier this season. Again VAR failed to do the job for which it is intended.

We haven't seen a great manager since Walter Smith and in Clement we have a real deal manager, very knowledgeable, excellent media handling ability and man management skills again not seen since Walter Smith. It is a dying art these days but Clement proves it is still a very relevant skill in this day and age. He has everyone pulling in the same direction, there is no ego, no visible clichés, even the players media handling is from the same hymn sheet as proven by Cantwell and Tom Lawrence media interview last night, given that these 2 probably have the biggest egos in that dressing room going by their careers to date. They are only concentrating on the current match and only thinking about their own team. It's refreshing to have a proper manager again and I am excited for the future under Clement. Think youth will also get a good chance under him as well. Onwards and upwards gers.
