Hey guys is there any interest in Stewart or hemmings at Dundee? I know we are looking for that prolific scorer thing hemmings could be the answer what do you guys think?

snowbaw1981

1.) 23 Jul 2016 18:09:16
Dunno about Hemmings but as for Stewart I've said before that I don't think he's needed at the moment, best to let him get game time with Dundee let his contract run down and get him on a pre in January. Dundee value him at 1.5m! I think the lad has huge potential and a bluenose, but we've no chance of getting him, Dundee are not going to lower their valuation by much and we don't seem to have cash in the bank anyways.

2.) 23 Jul 2016 18:25:12
If we are going to sign players then they have to be better than what we have. That for me rules out Stewart!

3.) 23 Jul 2016 18:39:46
To be fair mate Stewart supports aberdeen but would still be a good signing, especially if its on a free.

4.) 23 Jul 2016 20:28:40
Stewant supports rangers where did you get your info that's he supports aberdeen.

5.) 23 Jul 2016 21:12:07
Just have a feeling letting hemmings go a few years back was a big mistake boys looks like the best natural finisher in the league anyone know how much Dundee would be willing to take maybe even a cash plus loan say hardie for example.

6.) 24 Jul 2016 06:46:35
Strwart has loads of ability talent potential and under Warbs and even getting to be part of the present squad for a season would do him wonders imo, if we could get him as I said before re: contract then under Warbs it would be worth it.

7.) 24 Jul 2016 18:52:53
What's supporting aberdeen got to do with anything totally irrelevant.

8.) 24 Jul 2016 09:53:35
Andy, who said we don't have money in the bank. ? Who do you think is paying the wages of Barton, Krancjar, Windass, Crooks, Dodoo, etc, and who is paying for the refurbished Ibrox. ? Get a grip mate, we are doing fine, and Dave King 👑, is a true blue, and should be treated as such. ,
Tommy.

I think its a bit obvious what most peoples views on super ally are and I myself didn't think he was any good as a manager myself but when the unthinkable happened a few years I didn't see many socalled rangers men step up to the challenge so as much as he was inept as a manager he will always be a legend in my eyes for giving me so many joyful memories and fantastic old firm goals so thank you mr mcCoist for all your effort

snowbaw1981

1.) 06 Jun 2015 22:26:07
The man is an imposter and is no club legend

2.) 06 Jun 2015 22:47:43
I'm no fan but am I wrong in thinkin that this guy is your all time top goal scorer? Fair enough he struggled as manager but he's hardly an impostor! I'm bettin U cheered every time this so called impostor hit the back of the net for use??

3.) 07 Jun 2015 00:12:23
OP Step up to the challenge? The ONLY reason Ally stepped up to the challenge was the £17,,000 a week he received for his troubles mate, he was the highest paid "Manager" in Scottish football.

4.) 07 Jun 2015 07:58:54
Mccoist the is a club legend, just like John Greig just because he was an abysmal manager doesn't take away all his goals. that front 3 of mccoist hately and mo johnstone is the best we have ever had.

5.) 07 Jun 2015 09:32:15
Club legends walk away from clubs that are struggling financially when things aren't working out , they don't squeeze every penny they can out of them.

6.) 07 Jun 2015 12:24:47
As far as Ally being a Club legend, possibly but his Rangers team mates made him that, Ally needed loads of chances to score, I'd like to see how his goals to chances stacks up. Luckily for him at Rangers when he played Rangers strikers got upwards of five clear cut chances a game, except for in Europe where Ally's record isn't nearly so good.

I'm not knocking Ally but any half decent striker would have scored plenty at Rangers, remember Marco Negri, I think it was 26 he scored before Christmas and all 5 against Dundee Utd one game. I don't think he was a wonder striker, he never done it anywhere else.

7.) 07 Jun 2015 12:31:58
Mr ranger john Greig wasn't any good as a manager but still has the respect of his peers and seen as a legend at our great club. I was just giving my opinion on super ally as a footballer first as that was who I grew up watching

8.) 07 Jun 2015 14:12:15
Well what do people say about Mark hateley the he was in bed with this board so to speak getting a pay check for "pr"

9.) 07 Jun 2015 15:03:00
Comparing McCoist with John Greig is ridiculous, both were good players but one has devoted his life to the club, the other took millions out of the already ailing club while destroying it from within.
John Greig may not have been the greatest manager but he has always had Rangers best interests at heart, which is precisely why he walked away from the club McCoist and his bosses where building, he knew he could stop it and didn't want to be part of it, unlike McCoist who couldn't wait to give them ALL his "official" approval and reap the very generous rewards, which he will continue to reap until December thanks to that contract he never read!

10.) 09 Jun 2015 10:39:52
as far as manager in the days that john greig was there there were no goal keeping coaches no assistant coaches no fitness coaches the board decided who they were buying john greig would have to do almost everthing includind ordering the pies not one bit of help they the albion training ground they had to basically run round macoist had more indians helping him thancochice there is no comparison between the 2 greig can always hold his head high with the way he served the club something macoist will never ever be able to do and wih the exception of whyte and green the club have always looked after him

Hi ed no rangers related but with the new layout how do u get on to the wrestling page

snowbaw1981

{Ed001's Note - the link is Talk Wrestling for the wrestling site. Thanks for pointing out the oversight there, a new tab will be put at the top of the screen asap to take you to links on the other sites we have.}

1.) 26 Feb 2015 16:02:43
Wrestling? Are you on about hulk hogan n that when they kid on they hit each other.

08 Jun 2014 17:32:59
Larky bear I think his name was chilavert or sumin like that

snowbaw1981

{Ed001's Note - the Paraguay keeper? I loved him! He was top goalscorer one season, his free kicks and pens were deadly. Last I heard he was going to run for President or something of Paraguay. He always seemed to be a complete fruit loop, so I fear for the country if he takes power!}

1.) That's it Snowbaw & Ed he was a legend. He had a cartoon bulldog on the front of one of his club shirts at one point. He was hilarious.

2.) Yeah he was crazy ed but he, s way off on the goalscoring charts from the Brazilian goalie scored over 100 goals or sumin some quality strikers can't score that amount

{Ed001's Note - I am never convinced by Brazilian goal scoring tallies. They often add in all sorts of obscure matches, friendlies and youth games etc to bump up the amounts. Look at Pele's totals, half of them weren't even real matches, just exhibition games etc.}

The original post was not comparing Everton to us but but if u want to go the does that mean we, re bigger than real Madrid, man Utd, Barcelona etc etc u stated that that Everton weren't no big club or not big enuf for mw or dw I just disagreed in your statement. By the way there is no bigger club the the rangers.

League titles, fa cup, European winners, league cup, they may have not won much in past 20 odd years but that doesn't make them a small club. They are a brand known all over the world.

Bigjoh85 think your way of the mark stateing Everton aren't a big club they have a lot more financial clout than we do with a bigger more talented squad. Don't get me wrong mw would do wonders in the prem but not just yet, I think he knows he's starting to build sumin special with us and won't leave till he, s finished the job and has the league and champions league football back at the home of the worlds most successful football club.

I have an idea concerning the whole strip thing but don't know if its legal maybe you can have some input tell me if I'm wrong or not but if the fans aren't buying stock from SD rangers have to buy excess stock will it be at full price or build cost eg couple of quid. If its just for a few quid why don't rangers then sell those tops to fan who wish to buy them at full price are they legal to sell or would that be braking the law?

Fd I don't blame puma in any way. Its their job to supply kit to retailers etc. The only ones in the wrong are sd who are trying to sell tops without the image rights to do so.
