I have a feeling Rangers fans are going to get a nice Christmas present, in my opinion MA is going to be the largest shareholder and future owner of RFC.
He will sell NUFC for 267 million to the Qatar group and remove any obstacles to owning Rangers.
The fact MA blocked DK told me it was not just about retail, he was interested in gaining control.
Please ignore the nonsense about 75p in every tenner, no accountant worth his salt would make this claim based on the limited information in the balance sheet.
Anyone who thinks Rangers are dead are simply trying too hard, the company was liquidated and a new company formed in between seasons, no football was lost and at best it is a technical claim based on corporate law. Scottish football is governed by SFA articles, not corporate law and no rules were broken to accommodate Rangers.
Some dislike and disagree with precedents but that is their problem.
Stop believing half truth Phil, MA has been pulling the strings for ages right under his nose without a peep, suddenly he knows his itinerary?
MA is no sugar daddy like SDM or DK nor is he some cheap rip off spiv like CW or CG, he is a serious businessman who knows the value of a successful Rangers. He will invest securely and make Rangers profitable, if the fans support him he may respond in kind and if they don't support him, he will strip Rangers bare.
It is up to the fans, personally i would give him a chance, Rangers cannot continue to lose money and survive.
The elephant in the room is retail sales and/or image rights, both are worthless if Rangers is not happy and healthy.
MA interests coincide with Rangers, both have to be successful for both to make money, anyone who says otherwise does not understand retail or MA.
There are some NUFC who resent Ashley for keeping ticket prices down and not charging any interest on 129 million, just goes to show how fickle football fans are.
Fans applauded CG for his brutal honesty, he was in it for the money, now MA is demonized for being intent on making money out of Rangers.
Football fans have engulfed themselves in some kind of pseudo class war, don't know if it is a reaction to the financial crash or the ever widening gap between the rich and the poor. MA is a businessman not some cheap spiv.
MA is not Robin Hood nor is he the Sheriff of Nottingham, he is a clever businessman who has invested 2.5 million in Rangers and makes 3 million per year out of retail, he is protecting his interests and he will fix Rangers his way, but it will be fixed properly.
Suggest you get behind him and see what he does, worth the gamble.
