heard Grezda, Dorrans and Rossiter back in full training. Any news on Coulibally? We need him!

just listened to Sportsound on the BBC. They claim Rangers were lucky!
I despair at the anti Rangers rubbish spouted on this channel.

Heard this pish in the car on way home . thomson and chick young a disgrace . Morelos goal possibly hand ball pen was a dive and coulibally punched ball in. Absolute nothing like it. Anybody who wasn't therest game to see game might actually have believed there pish all the tims certainly will.

2.) 09 Aug 2018 23:44:08
Who cares what they say i'm not going to lose sleep over it Rangers didn't look much troubled tonight and were the better team for sure.

3.) 10 Aug 2018 08:03:39
Who cares about these muppets Thompson and Stewart who were crap players and whose level was junior league. They are just jealous. Why an ex-Rangers player would be so nasty in his comments is hard to work out. I vowed last season I wouldn't watch Sportscene again and I won't be doing so this season. The same rubbish appears in the Daily Rag every day. Great result last night and I can't see us conceding two goals in the return leg with our new, stronger defence. I hope Jack isn't out for long and also SG should give McCrorie a chance. Not sure about Kent and Ejaria yet. Don't forget, Dorrans and Rossiter (hopefully still to come back.

Rodgers took Liverpool to 2nd in the EPL. Do you think he is good enough to take Celtic to 2nd in the SPL?

Swanseablue, brill mate, me personally i think aberdeen or hearts have a good chance of finishing second, lol.

2.) 19 May 2016 18:53:19
Swanseablu i was having a look throught the other sites, seems sports direct are selling all there rangers gear under the (must go sign) do you think this will be a genuine clear out of old stock or everthing must go , end of.

3.) 19 May 2016 20:38:18
Hope Rodgers get the nod he wasted £292m on 31 players who were mainly 💩
Any team with Suarez would do well in any league. Once he left the Pool were struggling to make the top half with team he bought.
The Fans at Liverpool hated him with a passion for his sideway passing style, terrible coaching defencively his arrogance and ability to fall out with everyone from his assistant to the Tea Lady.
Getting a billy big time will put extra pressure on him and will offer him more leeway when they struggle, if he ever gets it together it will be too late.
Can't wait to get our trophy back 🏆.

4.) 19 May 2016 21:05:05
Be interesting to see how many people that won't buy anything from sd will change their mind when it's reduced.

5.) 19 May 2016 22:59:53
@bigjoh85

"me personally i think aberdeen or hearts have a good chance of finishing second".

Spot on mate, you boys will be lucky to get fourth but at least you are realistic about it, not like some of yer bear pals on here talking about challenging the 5 in a row champions.

6.) 19 May 2016 22:25:18
Albertz people should avoid buying rangers gear from sports direct imho, let the greedy owner get rid of by any means he sees fat, oops fit, I've not bought anything from his tat shop ever, nor will i ever, poor workers, greedy man, hated man.

7.) 20 May 2016 00:35:44
Weetam you obviously don't know sarcasm when it hits right in the face, as ime more than sure most people know i was meaning celtic will be lucky to finnish in the top 3 league possitions, imho.

8.) 20 May 2016 06:03:06
Bigjoh I'm right behind you with that. A co worker of mine has already bought stuff from sd and drinks out a giant sd cup and calls himself a diehard, eh don't think so pal.

9.) 20 May 2016 10:43:26
Albertz i take it your co worker doesn't drink hot tea/ coffee out of the sd cup, cause if he does you should tell him to stop doing so immedietly, or he could get scolded when the cup departs from the handle, its all tat that gets sold from those shops/ /.

I keep seeing comments re Danny Graham on here. Forget it, won't happen. He was hounded out of Swansea because of a bad attitude ( drink and other peoples wives ) . Definitely not the type of player MW would go for!

Another Dziakanowski (not sure if this is how to spell it) . I heard Jackie caused havoc in the dressing room at Bristol City (ironic rhyming slang) after he went there from Celtic. Anything in a pair of knickers was fair game apparently.

New blogger here. I have read this site for several months and like many of you am in utter despair re the state of our club. I purchased shares when Charlie boy made them available as an emotional tie and things have gone bad in a big way since. I have a number of points to make, so please be patient with me. Firstly, I agree Ally is a poor manager and I reluctantly agree he has to go, but he does not deserve the abuse he gets on this forum. He has not improved any of the players signed on and the style of football is very poor. Next, his wages are not an issue to me. We all would accept the money we are offered if it was well above our current wages. That goes for the players too! Next, the real culprits were the CEO's who agreed the contracts, but remember players/management wages are under 30% of turn over. How does that compare to clubs such as Aberdeen, Dundee Utd etc? Next, Rececntly both Aberdeen and Utd have restructured their debt to become "debt free". During this it has been revealed that their debt was above 60% of turnover at least. When Rangers went bust debt was £18m, less than 30% of turnover at the time. Why then has so much bile been directed at Rangers and the other two are held up as paragons of financial discipline? Lastly for now on the players; I agree Black, Daly, Shiels, Foster and Mohsni are never good enough ( add Faure to that list ), but remember we could only get free transfers as we could not buy players even if we wanted. I think Templeton cost about £800k; a complete waste of money in my opinion. A lot of people here scream to play the kids. How many of them are good enough? With the exception of MacLeod, every one has had pelters on this site and in the early days when all we had were kids the football was shocking. Remember Stirling Albion? It will be a long and painful return to something like where we were before but the healing process must start with the board; they need to be purged!

swanseablue

{Ed039's Note - the debt wasnt £18m, i think you are thinking of the amount that was owed to Lloyds Bank alone and was "cleared" by Craig Shite)

1.) As I understand things, MA and the SPFL came to an agreement that he would not increase his stake above 10%, nor would he exert any significant influence in the running of the club. It appears MA will underwrite the forthcoming share issue which will certainly increase his stake well above 10%. Add to that the influence of Lambias etc then it is clear that MA is in breach of this agreement, hence the notice of complaint the SPFL has issued to MA and the club. The question seems to be is this agreement sufficiently strong to stand up in a court of law? It would appear that MA believes it would not!

Warnock is on record of saying he does not want to manage in the EPL and will quit Cardiff if they get promotion, so would be available!
A good choice in my opinion.

McInnes is used to having complete control of the club he manages. I suspect he decided he could not work with a Director of Football.

the question now is who's next? My pick would be MacLeish till the end of the season then Gary Monk, currently at Middlesborough.

what difference does it make who he supported as a boy? The only criteria is " can he play football"

This will be Kenny's last season as a player for us and really hope he gets the credit he deserves. He has been a great servant of our club and Ibrox should raise the roof on his final appearance!

We were a bit lucky tonight, but to be honest it is the first bit of luck we have had in a long, long time. A bit of justice after the Hibs game at Ibrox.
Now keep it going!

It is time we got our collective heads out of 1690! The only thing that matters is the talent of the individual.

the more I think about it, the more I feel Tommy Wright would be a good choice. Solid, builds good teams with real fighting spirit and seems to be able to get the best out of his players ( compare MOH at St Johnstone to his time at Ibrox ) . He keeps a low profile which I really think we need just now. Just concentrates on the job in hand and gets the TEAM performing. I don't think he would be overawed by the challenge, and importantly would not look at the job as a stepping stone into the EPL.
