Mile Todorov, 19 year old Macedonian midfielder to be signed for the development squad this week, played as a trialist yesterday for the youth team apparently.

1.) 16 Jan 2019 16:39:55
According to Supercoop this lad will be our number 10 this season.

2.) 16 Jan 2019 18:19:33
Yip totally with you bankie! Todorov has all the ability in the world, to be our new no.10! Great minds think alike pal!

3.) 16 Jan 2019 18:36:16
A lot of banter or should I say bitching on here now!
The good chat and info seems to be gone😭🇬🇧.

4.) 16 Jan 2019 18:37:58
who does he remind you of this time Coop? 😉 Laudrup? Ronald de Boer? Terry Hurlock? 🤔.

5.) 16 Jan 2019 19:54:23
Definitely paul gascoigne he reminds me of snell! Did you forget all about him? Do you know who he is, more to the point?

6.) 16 Jan 2019 20:21:54
of course i do Coop, he is the legend you were daft enough to compare Ravel Morrison too just the other day!

7.) 16 Jan 2019 21:16:54
What a load of utter nonsense!

8.) 16 Jan 2019 21:17:42
Now are you sure you know who paul gascoigne is Snell? No midfielder in britain was ever as good as the geordie genius matey! Paul gascoigne is the greatest midfielder to come out of england for the last half a century pal! I rated him the greatest midfielder, to ever wear the rangers jersey! What i said regarding ravel morrison, was taken out of context,
by you and a few others, who i honestly think don't have a scooby doo! I said morrison is a similar in style midfielder to paul gascoigne,
not as good or better than him! Why would i say that, when gazza i rated as the greatest! Like a few others like you, you're far too quick to shoot people down, without thinking and taking in the post!

9.) 16 Jan 2019 21:54:29
Totally agree with you SC11, Gazza was the best Gers midfielder in my lifetime, different class entirely!

10.) 16 Jan 2019 22:29:59
Well worth it coop.

11.) 17 Jan 2019 03:52:12
Ironically, we brought a risky, crazy, fond of a drink and a laugh Gazza from Italy, to our great club, gave him a family and a sense of belonging and in return, we got the best playing days of his career.
If Ravel or Ravioli could be half the player, we'd do well.
The trouble is Gazza proved his ability at the top.
We can only hope♥️🇺🇲💙.

12.) 17 Jan 2019 12:32:34
Todorov is a deep lying midfielder, something gazza never was and he's certainly not a number 10.👍.

18 Dec 2018 14:12:35
Seen online we have 2 Americans training with us this week, Matt Polster and another. Polster if on a free and is a right back.

1.) 18 Dec 2018 15:10:31
the other one is Andrew Gutman, a left back.

2.) 18 Dec 2018 16:20:37
two disagrees to a true post, absolute plonker.

3.) 18 Dec 2018 18:11:47
think if americans look good wallace will be off an tav sold to get some cash in for stevie g.

4.) 18 Dec 2018 19:27:01
Trueblue, your right the number of disagrees on factual posts indicates to me the timmys are hiding on here.

5.) 18 Dec 2018 23:47:31
I heard it's a centre back and a left back so maybe that's where the disagreements are from.

22 Aug 2018 22:58:51
Joe Worrall being linked on the Record Online tonight, initial loan with an option to buy, England U21 international, worth a punt IMO if the price is right!

1.) 22 Aug 2018 23:33:54
He’d be a good catch if true.

2.) 23 Aug 2018 02:56:52
He's certainly the right type, young, capable, energetic, tall and tough. I'd have him all the time before the likes of McAuley, Richards and other has-beens punted on here. This lad would only enhance the squad.

3.) 23 Aug 2018 04:28:38
Agreed dutycalls, he fits the profile that we should be looking at, especially if we can agree a fee before the loan then it’s a no brainer. I would add that I’d like him (or someone like him) as well as a McAuley giving us 4 centre backs for the season ahead. Surely McAuley can’t be looking for much wages if hearts and Aberdeen are interested? 1 year deal!

4.) 23 Aug 2018 08:46:02
I'd be absolutely delighted if he signed on loan with the option to buy.

5.) 23 Aug 2018 09:02:24
Wow just Wow lad actually captained England U 21's recently. If we have the option to buy perfect but he won't be cheap.

6.) 23 Aug 2018 09:07:09
Forest rejected an £11.5m bid for him from Burnley in January so he must no be too bad.

7.) 23 Aug 2018 09:12:00
5th choice forest centre half doesn’t float my boat I’m affraid.

8.) 23 Aug 2018 11:25:27
Rossiter was also England under 21 captain was he not? And that worked well.

9.) 23 Aug 2018 14:22:22
To be fair Rossiter is class and would be a starter imo if it wasn’t for the bad luck with injuries.

10.) 23 Aug 2018 15:11:36
I think if JR wasn’t injury prone it would have worked out very well.

11.) 23 Aug 2018 15:38:10
Rossiter has NEVER played for the England Under 21's he was capped and captained the Under 19's.

12.) 23 Aug 2018 16:47:00
My bad. Thought he had.

13.) 23 Aug 2018 19:20:06
Fifth choice doesn't necessarily make him bad The manager obviously prefers others to him and he is still quite young

He is a good wee player and with games he will grow confident and improve his play!

14.) 24 Aug 2018 15:49:47
What’s happening with the strips? Anyone actually know anything?

15.) 25 Aug 2018 14:18:40
What I have heard is strips will be available to buy in around 3 weeks.

16.) 25 Aug 2018 20:30:30
WHAT? WHAT three weeks . let’s sack the board 🤪.

05 Aug 2018 10:35:12
Just seen the express reporting that we are eyeing up Barasic, this would be a terrific acquisition! IMO even though we have players in this area already, he is better than all of them and would be a definite starter with sell on value, get it done if it’s true!

1.) 05 Aug 2018 11:13:24
Totally with you here wee_bear. Barisic was absolutely superb over the 2 legs against us! He most definitely looks a quality left back. Tav couldn't do his usual marauding, up and down the right flank, because of how good barisic was! Really hope stevie G signs him!

2.) 05 Aug 2018 11:51:10
£2 would be money well spent imo. Here’s hoping we can do business here. To me this looks like a market Rangers should be scouting regularly.

3.) 05 Aug 2018 12:49:44
He was in the preliminary squad for Croatia at the World Cup. 2m would be a steal.

4.) 05 Aug 2018 15:03:14
We need a f@#king Striker before any more left backs!

5.) 05 Aug 2018 15:29:39
It’s a pity about Morelos today because I’m sure he would’ve scored. Next time Buffalo.

6.) 05 Aug 2018 15:49:53
He's an person and needs to grow up.

7.) 05 Aug 2018 16:33:58
He cost us 3 points today🇬🇧😭.

8.) 05 Aug 2018 16:39:43
Bear necessities I'd be stunned if we get him for two pounds.

9.) 05 Aug 2018 16:48:20
Coldo - agree 100.

10.) 05 Aug 2018 16:50:11
I agree shauney boy I think we would have scored and I agree he should have went down with the shuv and stayed down but his instinctive reaction was to lash out. Stevie had got to coach him so his instinctive reaction is to go down. but the boy likes to stand up fir himself and not be bullied. it was just a flick out to a premeditated barge. Hopefully we will appeal and it gets cut to yellow. Ryan Jack I pray he is ok . was immense today again definitely captain material. if he’s ok against the smellies Stevie should get him on broom. He’s marked him out the game before . Well done though guys.

11.) 05 Aug 2018 17:42:15
If barisic signs we could put Flanagan back to right back and that would give us a very solid back 4.

12.) 05 Aug 2018 18:19:42
🙈jboy obv typo. Meant 2,000,000,00 pence.

13.) 05 Aug 2018 18:28:57
Where does Tav go right wing? He had the best delivery.

14.) 05 Aug 2018 18:48:12
Maybe g dog wing or bench I guess.

15.) 05 Aug 2018 19:00:29
Down south, he keeps costing us goals.

16.) 05 Aug 2018 19:10:25
Haha, belter JBoy! The thing is we need options and a player like him could give us that, I expect us to bring in a striker and a Centre half over and above any other signings but imagine going to a back 3 in some games with no wingers but barasic and Tav in the wing back roles, this would give us an opportunity to pack the midfield and play 2 up top with little defensive responsibility on the wing backs!

17.) 05 Aug 2018 20:57:54
Could be useful.

15 Dec 2017 21:58:32
Let’s give it laldy tomorrow bears even if we go behind! We've come from behind last 2 games so no need to panic, let’s take the roof off the place as the boys deserve it! I have a felling with Jack back and Miller out we could get a resounding victory but we must be at it from minute 1 including fans!

Mon the Gers!

1.) 15 Dec 2017 22:33:40
Has jack not still got another game of his ban left?

2.) 15 Dec 2017 23:01:13
So miller out is a good thing? Never played football is my guess.

3.) 16 Dec 2017 07:04:38
Ryan jacks eligible to play today hami!

Saw a few interesting stats there - every game mccrorie has started in midfield we’ve won (5) 😁😁boy does look a prospect and in the league we’ve won the most games from going behind a goal first (interesting stat for all the negative posters on here saying we’ve no fight! 😁😁

Good luck today bears!

4.) 16 Dec 2017 09:16:53
Miller has been off the boil lately Rick Witter. You don’t need to have played football to see that! Spare me the patronising tone, I’m sure you are right about everything in your own wee world but I’m sure plenty will agree with me. I was merely stating my hope that with Miller out Mr. Murty will be forced to change it and we might benefit from a resounding victory rather than the squeaky wins that we had of late. Remember young McCrorie only got his chance due to injuries and look at him now.

Moan the Gers!

5.) 16 Dec 2017 10:04:05
DONT you know wee bear you have to have played football before your entitled to an opinion? 😂😂

Agreed mate miller has been off boil everyone’s career has to dip some point and for me millers time should be limited now to impact sub .

What do I know but I only played 3 years and captained the primary school team to glory all those years ago 😂😂😂😂

6.) 16 Dec 2017 10:27:16
think if rick thinks millers form has been decent the closest he has got to playing football is subbuteo. personally i think windass and morelos could be a great partnership. i have been vocal about windass more than once on here, but in the middle he is putting in a shift, has some great touches and has taken some of his goals really well. morelos is better with a partner, those two together won't give defenderd a moments peace! really hoping we don't revert back to one up top and stick windass back out on the left

7.) 16 Dec 2017 10:49:45
Couldn’t agree more. Miller hasn’t shown up since hearts, his injury could be a blessing in disguise like McCrorie. Also think windass and Morelos can be a decent fresh pairing up top. Morelos is better in a two

8.) 16 Dec 2017 11:53:18
Well said guys. It seems if you have a difference of opinion to some posters on here you are either a half wit, moron, tube or you have never played football. Maybe we are not the half wits, morons etc

9.) 16 Dec 2017 13:06:16
Hasn't Jack only served 2 games of a 3 game suspension?

10.) 16 Dec 2017 20:23:47
Jacks bn cap all season he's bn sent off more than he's had good games

11.) 17 Dec 2017 14:01:09
That's what I thought sent off in the game at Porto drive since then we've only played hibs and county

12.) 17 Dec 2017 14:02:12
I also agree with going with windass and morelos together! Windass is wasted out wide in my opinion and has shown he has an eye for goal of late

13.) 17 Dec 2017 16:40:13
id suspend him for another 3. Aberdeen player wearing a gers top

14.) 17 Dec 2017 16:43:01
agree mate
Aberdeen his level

As the dust settles on another frustrating night Tuesday becomes our biggest game of the season. We’ve come up short this season when Celtic have been there for the taking, I’m not sure they will drop as many points next season so our improvement for next year must be cast. I’ve bern critical of Joe Worrall but the last two games he has been immense and outshone Goldson but he’s away back to Forest and another quality CB is required. We need an attacking mid to get us goals from there as only Arfield seems to score regularly, I’d also say we need another defensive mid as Ryan Jack can go missing in games however this is not a priority and we need 2 goalscoring wide men, Candeias chipped in last night but we need 10-15 each from these positions to mount a better challenge.

Still lots to be positive about this season as we have improved and hopefully we can push on towards 80pts to reflect this and provided we get through Tuesday we’ll have 3 games against Celtic to lay a few gloves on them.

28 Feb 2019 19:26:54
Last few games we’ve looked the part however I fear we will drop points again before the season is out. I think we all that was our best 11 last night and looking forward to the summer where do we think we could improve? For me a rock solid centre half to partner Goldson is a must, Katic can cover both and hopefully develop some more himself, we’ll need another back up CH as well.

The midfield 3 look good and I’ve been extremely impressed with Kamara, hopefully he keeps it up and I’d say we need 1 midfielder of quality to add to the mix. When Arfield is missing we really struggle.

For me both wide men could be upgraded, I really like Kent but he doesn’t get enough goals from that position for me. If 4-3-3 is the formation moving forward then we need 10-15 goals each from our wide men to compliment a 20 plus goal striker, obviously if Morelos goes we need to replace him but hopefully we’ll hang onto him. 4 players for me for the starting line up is required to really kick on next season.

1.) 01 Mar 2019 05:39:56
I think if Morelos goes we will move to 3 at the back, with two up top. - in most games (if they can make it work)

07 Feb 2019 07:01:11
Morning bears, good result last night and I’ve said my piece on the red cards on the rumours thread. I think most (not all but most) would agree that going into the game that was our best team on the park last night with exception of maybe Worrall. I prefer Katic but many others including the gaffer seem to think Worrall is better. Morelos was superb while on the pitch last night and when he went off we were pretty poor if I’m honest. Ryan Kent was again tremendous and we really need to get this loan extended for next season. We need to keep this mentality of only looking to the next game, 3 points, keep pressure on. We cannot let any dropped points by Celtic go unpunished and hopefully we can get closer to them soon but if not we must stay in the race. Massive game on Saturday now and another tasty affair I’d expect after Clarke’s comments and Gerrards response this week. Defoe looked good last night and if Morelos is banned then it will be useful that we have a period of 1 game a week coming up, this is exactly the reason Defoe was brought in, to finish off games like last night and to have a quality back up if he is unavailable.

1.) 07 Feb 2019 08:38:11
What about Mcinnes apparently going in rangers dressing room after game telling them keep the noise down, he, he.

2.) 07 Feb 2019 08:56:05
Wee bear we're not good enough to catch celtic if we're all to be honest it be 2nd for us this year that wasn't a good performance last nite scoreline flattered us that mob were by far the better team.

3.) 07 Feb 2019 10:11:18
Thought we were by far the better team until the penalty followed quickly by the red cards. Their goal was a fluke IMO due to defensive errors again and at HT I fancied us to win by 3 or 4. Our squad isn’t deep in quality but if we keep most players fit and available I think we’ll run them close. Really what it will come down to is who drops the most points between now and May so 1 game at a time, 3 points and see where it takes us!

4.) 07 Feb 2019 10:40:34
After the sending offs. We defended a lead, the sheep went for it. Despite that I thought we were dangerous on the break and overall deserved to win.

5.) 07 Feb 2019 11:29:16
Aberdeen were the better team? You're having a laugh. We were poor but still deserved it.

6.) 07 Feb 2019 11:39:37
Dgersfan rangers were the better team first they were 2nd half they were not by far the better team rubbish we gave them a bit of their own medicine second half hitting them on break goals that count that’s what they’ve done to us last3 games before. we are probaly too inconsistent to win league but here’s hoping we can go On a run prove me wrong.

7.) 07 Feb 2019 12:47:28
DSGERSFAN, no way were Aberdeen the better team, 2ne half we sat off for some reason and invited them on to us which it maybe looked like they were better.

8.) 07 Feb 2019 13:16:12
DSGERS we pumped them first half and then did what we had to do second half, nicking an extra goal. no way they were better overall, for a patch of the second half fair enough but we deserved that win.

9.) 07 Feb 2019 20:09:08
DSGERS - We were the better team until the sending offs.
What a moment when Defoes strike hit the back of the net to guarantee us 3pts.

30 Jan 2019 11:18:58
It’s looking likely that Kamara and Polster will join before the window shuts. I was hoping for another one to be fair and will be disappointed if there isn’t a rabbit pulled out the hat tomorrow. I honestly believe the league is touch and go this season and we could take it to the wire and if we come up just short then we may regret not getting another body in. We are in need of a goal scoring midfielder who can shoot from outside the box this would also solve the diamond formation problem IMO. Here’s hoping 🤞🏽.

1.) 30 Jan 2019 11:35:10
wee_bear we do have a goal scoring midfielder, he is called GREG DOCHERTY, but unfortunately he is out on loan. I will repeat what I said the other day. GET HIM BACK UP THE ROAD BEFORE RAMMORA Stevie G. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THE FAMOUS.

2.) 30 Jan 2019 12:11:22
Hiof harted, totally agree with you. Docherty has been great for Shrewsbury, even their manager keeps complimenting him. As for Kamara, Gerrard quoted as saying he doesn't expect him to be at Rangers in this transfer window. PS. Does anyone know if the game is still on tonight as i'm going and haven't heard otherwise. Mind you thet called it off late last time.

3.) 30 Jan 2019 13:48:25
While I really like Docherty I'm not sure he is quite the goal scoring midfielder, before this season his highest league goal return was 3 in the past 3 full seasons. I am really happy he is doing well but he was sent out on loan for a reason and for me this reason still exists, he wouldn't get a game if he was here. He is better staying where he is, continue to develop and come back the player we all hope he can be ready to compete with the other international midfielders in our squad.

4.) 30 Jan 2019 13:56:08
Docherty is still young and has still got to develop, leave him out on loan for now as this will have a greater benefit long term to him and us. He will comeback in the summer with more experience and confidence, he'll be raring to go. We will get much better player than the one that went out on loan. Giving time and proper development I think docherty will be the goal scoring creative mid we want. 👍.

5.) 30 Jan 2019 14:38:58
Goalie iv heard they've got a heat tent over pitch so should be on.

6.) 30 Jan 2019 14:51:12
i really like docherty he is a good player but agree he should be left out loan to get game time and develop his game.
But when he comes back next season he has got to be one of the first picks in midfield.
he is the goal scoring midfielder we lack the lad has shots at goal from outside the box something the current players do not do much plus he is direct when running with ball and has plenty of energy.
For me this lad has all the attributes to become a very good player for us.

7.) 30 Jan 2019 15:18:14
Gsgerfan, cheers for that information. 0-5 Rangers.

8.) 30 Jan 2019 18:37:31
Feel we need a midfielder to shoot from range been saying this for ages. Looks like mccrorrie is trying to be that player as of recent. Plus for fans is back to full training.

29 Jan 2019 07:52:52
Where does Medube play, I see there’s talk of him playing tomorrow, if he could break through like McCrorie last season it would be like a new signing?

1.) 29 Jan 2019 08:31:52
Plays as a forward.

2.) 29 Jan 2019 09:19:38
Ideal, thought he was a winger but wasn’t sure! Hopefully get a look tomorrow.

3.) 29 Jan 2019 12:51:03
He's a ST wee bear, hope this is true and he gets some game time. I have heard all the hype about mebude, would be great to see him first hand👍.

Hopefully true, needs games though! Definitely think he can provide more goals from wide, think there will be a lot of ins and outs again this summer, the fringe players just haven’t contributed enough.

If our scouting department is fit for purpose we will have replacements lined up for the summer if he goes, either way I’d be looking at another striker in the summer, two if Morelos goes.

For me if McKenna doesn’t lash out then Morelos doesn’t even get booked for that. You see far worse go unpunished regularly, I feel the ref and linesman weren’t sure and did not want to be crucified in the media ignored they got it wrong with Morelos and went with the easier option. We were poor from the minute he went off though and we need Morelos in the team so he has to wisen up. If that big eejit just gets up and square goes fredo with a bit of handbags they both get booked and the f he gets up and on with the game then nothing happens, possibly a soft foul to them, that’s why it’s not a red for me.

Will just be resting Tav tonight, he must’ve played close to 40 games this season already.

Agree with Trev, Tav has defensive frailties but he is superb going forward and has been since he came, add that to the fact that he is fit almost every single game (how many can we say that about? ) then we have to keep him. If silly money comes in then we asses the offer but it has to be crazy money, and we have to have an opportunity to spend it!

Yes but how many times has he been posted missing for Aberdeen in the games that aren’t against Rangers? He’s not good enough and better must be found to mount a challenge.

I think we need upgrade on Kent to be honest, we need more of an inside left that can get 10-15 goals, our width should come from our full backs if we are to stick so rigidly with this 4-3-3.

Agree Coldo, Katic while being rough round the edges has plenty time to develop but carries 2 attributes that the others don’t, an ability to bring the ball out of defence and charge forward which disrupts these well organised teams who are compact and narrow as they don’t have a man to pick him up and it creates space for others when he does it. Secondly he carries as big a goal threat at set pieces as anyone in that team, from limited game time I think he has a couple. Worrall and Goldson I can remember a goal each from having played the majority of games, not really good enough when we are needing a goal in a close game. Also thought we were much better with 4-4-2. If Gerrard is to persist with 4-3-3 then the wingers really need replaced with inside forwards who can support Morelos and chip in with far more goals, the width must come from our full backs and a guy like McCrorie in midfield can cover them.

14 Mar 2019 18:28:17
It’s no excuse Coldo, we are refereed poorly and the red and yellow count reflects that. We didn’t lose the game the other night due to poor decisions but we have dropped points elsewhere due to the wrong decisions. Countless times actually. If you want to talk about mediocrity then your support of the team is mediocre, you’ll have to face facts my friend, we are just slightly more mediocre than last year but Celtic are a good deal more mediocre than they were and if we continue to support the team and the manager then at some point we’ll cross over.
