Can see near enough every player that we want to move on being subject to really late bids. Teams from Lge One and other SPFL Clubs will try and get players for as little as possible and we should have deals set up to take these players on loan just in case.
If we can shift 7-8 on Transfers and bring in around 1.5m minus Mckay then so be it.

10 Jun 2017 22:40:21
Been reading about the player Candieas and he's a Winger who likes to cross the ball his stats showed that last term he produced over 150 crosses only being bettered by one player. Point being I like the sound of Candieas and also think that Garner would benefit being in the same team. A choice of Miller Garner Herrera and Morelos would be great only issue would be trying to get the younger lads game time.

11 Jun 2017 06:08:42
4 up front. Really

10 Jun 2017 20:51:39
I've never been so deflated after a Scotland game. Just when we thought we had it won due to two cracking free kicks from the thumb, two of his clubmates spoiled it for him. What Armstrong was thinking is anyone's guess. And I'm convinced Gordon coulda came for that cross.

10 Jun 2017 22:07:11
Boyinblue you are speaking my mind mate ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒI feel more gutted for the boy griffiths than anything really should how deadly he is

10 Jun 2017 19:42:18
Typical Scotland make everyone in Scotland think they will win then in a blink of an eye they balls it up - my question is how long until we have a Rangers player playing in the Scotland team again? Bates and wilson learning from bruno alves, Dorrans if he signs, Jack, Holt, mcckay, barjonas, brunt under Pedro.

{Ed039's Note - holt, really?)

10 Jun 2017 19:59:08
Im hoping working with better players/ coaching staff the scottish players will improve

10 Jun 2017 20:16:37
McKay won't be a rangers player! Holt will be a squad player. Barjonas, is he Scottish? Brunt, who is he?, Jack and Dorrans yes, definitely!

10 Jun 2017 20:24:00
Ed holts our 7th best player

{Ed039's Note - and that means he should be picked for Scotland, sorry I am confused here, it might be the 8 cans)

10 Jun 2017 20:58:57
I don't understand why Holt gets such a hard time. He's a dynamic player who's first instinct when he picks up the ball is to look/ run forward. He's also about the only midfielder last season who would get up to support the attack. I think with some solid def mids behind him he will be a good player for us this season.

{Ed039's Note - he's rotten mate)

10 Jun 2017 21:07:36
Holt can find James Forrests neck with a cross but he hasn't earned a call up to the national team.

Barjonas was born in Scotland and has played for under 17 etc.

{Ed039's Note - Holt is not good enough)

10 Jun 2017 21:09:53
Holt isn't good enough for Rangers let alone Scotland

10 Jun 2017 21:47:27
Holt cost 65-75k and for that money he's done ok. Would like him to stay OR poss loaned out to a Dundee or Thistle see if he develops further. If we sell then I would expect minimum 150k and that would be a bargain.
Pedro seems to like Holt but will he get a. game? In his pposition he has Pena Dorrans Nico ahead of him. Depending on what type of formation Ped goes with he will struggle to get on the bench.

{Ed039's Note - he doesn't have dorrans yet does he?)

10 Jun 2017 23:07:23
There's quite a few players in our team this year that I'd describe as rotten. but Holt isn't one of them. Yes he isn't good eniugh to get into a Rangers team of old, but then who is?

10 Jun 2017 23:07:26
So you think ยฃ70k ordinary players are the way for us to go? Got no ambition, then? The guy's next club will be Accies or Inverness, that's his level and he'll look good there.

11 Jun 2017 09:40:43
Parky

How many goals did Holt score last season? He is bang average and isn't the answer. Wee-ecky is right his next club will be a Hamtlton or Inverness that's his level and he isn't a player we need if we are to challenge Celtic

11 Jun 2017 12:43:12
I would suggest that Holt has potential. He is still young and with better players around him then he could develop. He certainly deserves to be part of our squad unlike Halliday who can only go one way and that is backwards!

10 Jun 2017 18:52:09
I have never ever EVER thought I'd cheer on that wee ned but OMFG I just smashed a pint and went mad after those 2 crackers!

10 Jun 2017 19:13:39
You just went mad and smashed a pint, yet you call Griffiths a ned!

{Ed039's Note - I threw a can at the telly when the keeper didn't claim that cross Mr Malloy)

10 Jun 2017 19:40:04
AS I said that sums up your supporters, on a lighter note hope you all lumped on big Brown being booked, I know I did and my bear pals also made a few bob

{Ed039's Note - sums who up? You can't be a Scotland supporter and think the keeper made a mess of things ..... my generation only remember the 99 win at Wembley and to win that today would have been immense, and for your information I celebrated the second griffiths goals like a 90th minute Edu goal in an old firm
Game)

10 Jun 2017 20:20:44
Two good goals from Griffiths and a good goal from Kane, showed his class. At the end of the day a draw was about the right result. As for Brown, I was hoping that after his stupid booking after three minutes that he would see red! I am a neutral in these games, (not born in either country), but with the exception of the last twenty minutes it was a poor game!

10 Jun 2017 20:28:28
Im a season ticket holder and i almost jumped through the roof! don't get a lot of joy as a Scotland fan but that was great although short lived

10 Jun 2017 20:44:49
Timalloy hush your gums pal. Like I said I went wild celebrating those goals. Just don't like the kid. Is that hard to grasp? Bet the odds were pish on him getting carded.

10 Jun 2017 20:56:26
If Armstrong lumps the ball towards shawlands we win the game. Typical Scotland we can't see a game out in injury time.

10 Jun 2017 21:13:59
Let's be honest his two goals were top class ๐ŸŒฎ

10 Jun 2017 21:15:00
Timalloy didn't you say something along the lines of the following:

it has just been reported that "The Rangers International Football Club" have contacted the SPFL, Sky TV, and BT regarding the new season's fixtures, a club spokesperson has asked in consideration to all the Brazilian speaking players now at Ibrox, NOT to organise any Sunday lunchtime fixtures as the players will be attending 11 Oclock MASS.

With comments like that you'd be forgiven for thinking you were a bigoted ned and you have the cheek to say anything about us Rangers fans?

Oh and there is no such language as Brazilian. ๐Ÿ‘

{Ed039's Note - ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚)

10 Jun 2017 21:23:15
Tomusa, i have to disagree with you mate. Griffiths goals were world class. Harry Kanes goal was the result of very poor defending. I repeat 2 world class free kicks from griffiths. As a gers fan i don't like him but, hats off, that was special even though the result was not as good as it could have been.

{Ed039's Note - they were quality free kicks, if Armstrong had booted the ball into the stand and Gordon had come for cross Scotland would have won, it's not picking on the players but a fact of poor quality at a vital time that cost us 3 points)

11 Jun 2017 12:55:59
Yogibear, I am not disagreeing regarding Griffith's goals. I thought they were quality, (and probably the second even more so that the first), but don't take anything away from Kane, he did just as he does in the EPL. It is easy to say that it was poor defending but Kane makes a habit of finding space week in week out against better central defenders than Scotland have at their disposal.

It might be better to question the poor goalkeeping that resulted in the first goal or Brown stupidity that saw him booked after three minutes or the stupid free kick that was given away by the England player that slipped and then decided that it made sense to pull down the player.

Let's not however take anything away from Griffith

10 Jun 2017 15:37:45
What to we think of the ongoing BBC ban at Rangers?

Is it not time that both sides stopped behaving like children and sorted it out?

We as license payers are funding the BBC and expect fair and balanced reporting of everything (not just RFC) but the club also have to realise that they are penalising the fans by reducing the amount of coverage that we get on the BBC

All a bit pathetic?

10 Jun 2017 16:12:12
BBC are not banned from ibrox it is chris mclaughlin who is banned the BBC just spat the dummy out cause 1 of their reporters got banned for his anti rangers drivvle the BBC is full of rangers haters

10 Jun 2017 16:40:45
Pathetic is the right word to describe both parties.

10 Jun 2017 20:22:48
I am hoping that the Government of the UK withdraws the license fee and tells the BBC to find other means of funding. It is hideous that people in the UK still have to pay a license fee for what is now a substandard Television station!

10 Jun 2017 22:21:39
Well said TOMUSA ๐Ÿ‘and also was it Not the old board who banned the BBC reporter

10 Jun 2017 23:09:59
The BBC has no credibility whatsoever and who cares if they refuse to report on our games. That weasel McLaughlin has spent years giving unbalanced views about the club and eventually the board told him where to go. It was the BBC who then spat the dummy out. Hell mend them they are a spent force.

10 Jun 2017 15:33:43
What's the thought's on who gets the Captaincy nxt Season? For me i'm thinking Alves as Wallace may not even be gairunteed a start. Don't think Wallace will be too bothered and will give his full support.
Wallace is just too quiet to be Captain. Even as understudy I would have poss Dorrans or Jack.
Thoughts Bears

10 Jun 2017 19:40:53
wouldnt be suggesting possible captaincy for players who haven't kick a ball for us wallace has been a great captain can't understand people want him stripped of it especially guys who haven't kicked a ball for the club but by all means if these new sigings shine and show they are captain material change it but till that day it has to be wallace

10 Jun 2017 20:26:03
Wallace has bee a great servant to the club but in terms of leadership he is poor and his performances last season were generally poor, (although in part that could be because he had no midfield and McKay gave him little or no support. I would still keep Wallace as Club Captain, I suspect that we will have leaders all through the team with jack, Alves and all the new players in the team so who wears the captains arm band won't be quite as relevant!

10 Jun 2017 14:48:28
Rey Mysterio spotted up near Ibrox could be Pedros next signing #mexican revolution

10 Jun 2017 15:28:13
Yeah him and Alves would be an excellent partnership. Dunno about the mask tho :)

10 Jun 2017 11:28:49
On a completely different subject, i. e. the international tonight, what do Bears think about Chesney's team with possibly six Septics in it? Why aren't players like Naismith, Dorrans, Ritchie, Fletcher, Adam, Mackay in the team? Could it be his pro-Septic approach again?

10 Jun 2017 12:08:53
I love Scotland through thick and thin but now with him I can no longer watch them as for looking like Chesney I think he is more norman collier

10 Jun 2017 12:12:36
Naismith plays as sub.
Dorrans is around same level as other midfielders.
Ritchie is injured.
Fletcher never done it in his prime so why now?
Adam is reckless and we have snodgrass/ ritchie/ cairney.
McKay has the potential to be good but is he actually showing it?

That's my thoughts.

My Scotland team if all fit would be, Gordon, Robertson, Hanley, Martin, Paterson, Bannan, Armstrong, Ritchie, Snodgrass, Burke, Martin. -4,4,1,1 formation.

I do agree too many of these average Celtic players should not be automatic picks. Might sound like a silly statement to some considering their season but when you think about it, what nationality are ALL of their best players? Certainly not Scottish, with Tierney and Armstrong the exceptions.

Why not take Oliver Burke over James Forrest? Confusing.

10 Jun 2017 12:26:13
Who cares?

10 Jun 2017 12:32:10
Hanley? I know there's not many options at centre back but Hanley? Also Tierney would walk into the Scotland team and that's coming from a Rangers supporter.

10 Jun 2017 12:40:15
I agree that Forrest is crap and so is Griffiths but wee-ecky, I care because I'm Scottish and living in England it is always more painful when we get beat, like Andy Murray's defeat yesterday! I was talking about Steve Fletcher.

10 Jun 2017 12:47:53
Tierney is not better than Robertson. Who would you play over Hanley? Berra, mulgrew, Reynolds? Who? You are exactly rite, we don't have the options as far as I'm concerned they are all as poor as each other at this level so it doesn't really matter who I put in that position.

10 Jun 2017 13:00:32
tierney is better than robertson
griffis is a great player
armstrong excellent

the other 8 positions are well up for debate

10 Jun 2017 14:01:39
Why would you not care. It's your country!

10 Jun 2017 14:19:27
Griffiths is a good spl player but he is a fish out of water at any level above that. Doesn't have the pace or power for the international stage.

10 Jun 2017 15:09:11
Would take Berra or Mulgrew over Hanley and that says how bad he is. I'd rather see Tierney on the right over Paterson and Robertson on the left.

10 Jun 2017 15:13:33
How he can start Forrest over the boy Fraser at Bournemouth is beyond belief, whilst griffiths is decent player in spl he still hasn't done it at international level he'll of a risk to take against a young strong English side teirney and Robertson should play RB an Lb like they did against Slovenia MacArthur brown an Armstrong should start in middle rest I say up in the air

10 Jun 2017 18:22:40
alrus blue my country is the UK. Scotland happens to be the part of the UK where I live. My children were born in other parts of the UK. I've spent time in most parts of the UK. And after the way the SFA, their committees, their manager and their fans have treated Rangers, why would I support their team? I support Rangers and nobody else.

10 Jun 2017 18:45:45
Who are UK playing to tonight? Scandinavia? Hate this chat from our fans.

10 Jun 2017 19:10:02
Pappy, nobody. That's why I support Rangers.

10 Jun 2017 19:46:01
That makes no sense to me at all ecky. But i'm sure you have your reasons for not supporting scotland, I just don't like the anti scottish thing some of our fans have. Almost a great result tonight, we might very well win the league this year with Gordon in goal for them.

10 Jun 2017 23:17:20
When the SFA start to treat us fairly, when the decisions are no longer made by a Celtic director, when they have a manager who doesn't hate our club, when their fans stop singing 'Rangers are Dead, and 'Who the heck are Sevco' I will again support Scotland. Unlike most on here I've seen more than 40 internationals, I first went to Wembley in 1967, I have written extensively on the Scottish team. It hurts that my association with them has been soured by a corupt regime and a vile support that sickens me. I've seen them in action abroad, defacating and urinating in the street, flashing their tiny tackle at unsuspecting women and girls and being 'ambassadors' for Scotland. No more. I support Rangers.

10 Jun 2017 10:49:05
If rumours are true and we have agreed a deal to have sport direct as shirt sponsors and making it a far better deal for us with shirt sales, which would be great. Can I offer my wives magic ability to ruin football tops after one wash with the sponsors label usually falling off, although you will have to buy a shirt 2 sizes larger than usual as it shrinks aswell. Please don't send a signed shirt as my mcewans lager 1990 shirt signed by mccoist had the name washed off. As soon as I told her it was going up on the wall she decided it needed cleaned. : (

10 Jun 2017 11:19:37
Least yours does yer washing.

10 Jun 2017 11:26:34
What soap powder does she use? My wife cannot get any stains out.

10 Jun 2017 08:06:19
Also I can see why Pedro now went for Jontan Johhanssen as the number 3 role or local coach or whatever his job title is.

I was all for B Ferguson having that role. I can now see why JJ got the role- and more importantly why he will be a fantastic coach.

JJ has done coaching as a assistant in the 1st team with Finland ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ, before that he started with the Motherwell youths. JJ is also widely regarded as a highly intelligent guy a great coach. It's seems also that he has a eye for a player. It's was JJ who went and watched Graham Dorrans play for Norwich. And it was JJ who also pointed out Morelos to Ped. It's seems to me that JJ has already made a impression on Ped and his opinion on certainly seems to count!

None of this stuff I can see B Ferguson doing, or has the ability to do yet!
Although in saying that Ferguson was fantastic player in his pomp, and I have so many memories with Ferguson in them.

Only time will tell if JJ turns out to be as good as I'm making out lol ๐Ÿ˜‚, but early signs are good. And if we can add Dorrans and Morelos turns out to be a wee gem ๐Ÿ’Ž.

Then JJ's good ๐Ÿ˜Š work has started!

10 Jun 2017 14:31:09
a wee bit random lol bit thought be funny can't stop thinking of only an excuse at the end of the year just picturing Pedro taking interviews barry walks in wae fish in chips wearing trackies and then alex rae walking in same idea at this point pedro thinking what the hell is going on then Jonatan Johansson walks in all suited up professional as you do but on a honest note, glad Jonatan Johansson with us shows us something different

10 Jun 2017 15:51:12
Think JJ would have had far more in his locker in terms of contacts. The lad Morelos who we should desperately try and get imo would not be on the cards if not for JJ.
Still think be it in time for Europa or not we must still sign him.

10 Jun 2017 06:45:02
Portuguese guy today, and then all eyes ๐Ÿ‘€ will be watching the Dorrans signings and morales signing lol ๐Ÿ˜‚ hope he's found his passport hidden away in his sock drawer lol but noises coming out of Ibrox are of the opinion that there shouldn't be an issue with Morelos signing. Which make wonder if the Scottish media made too much over him sweating ๐Ÿ˜… on a Rangers move- I can never trust them.

Anyway it was Dorrans which is the guy I really wanted almost as much as Alves.

On his day he really rules a midfield, spent many season in the EPL and played against the worlds ๐ŸŒŽ best and never looked out of place once, If you ask any West Brom fans what they think of Dorrans they'll tell you only positive stuff. ( I used to live about 14 away from there) Although it doesn't count for everything but the family are supposedly huge Gers fans, but obviously ๐Ÿ™„ I do remember Halliday lol ๐Ÿ˜‚.
But there is night and day between them 2 players. Dorrans for me would be the cherry ๐Ÿ’ on top! And gives me a idea ๐Ÿ’ก of all this fits together.
This move is going to be gathering pace from now, over weekend and early next week he's holding up the scarf. We are going to up our bid to Norwich - that's only because we want him in for the Euro qualifiers, And someone told me that he's told Norwich, that he only wants to go to Rangers, so Sheffield and Middlesbrough are going to be missing out, no matter what they bid.
Happy about this one โ˜๏ธ, can't think of a better Scottish Midfielder that's played for Rangers since a certain B Ferguson. Only my opinion.

I think we may put in a real title challage this year, but ultimately I think we may fall a little short of the title- because I think it's going to take a while for all these new exciting talents to Gel.
Although my heart tells me we may have half a chance of winning it. But I'm listening to my head, as it's way to early to tell and don't know if our Mexicans are going to be good or not, plus I don't know who they'll sign.

But this is exciting time, it's almost like a refund for all the last transfer windows for say the last 6 years all at once. But if any support deserves goood news it's us, we went to hell and back and we're still standing.

10 Jun 2017 09:01:01
lets no get over confident its shaping up nicely but with the excpetion of Sir Bruno a don't know much of the new boys. what a do know is we are showing ambition which will come good in the end

10 Jun 2017 09:43:27
Agreed, keeping my feet on ground and can't get carried away, Although I don't think one of the cups is unrealistic.

10 Jun 2017 10:28:08
Agree, you never know how it will pan out as they are obviously in such good shape, but I am looking forward to seeing what I believe are some exciting players for us and certainly for a long time, let's hope we make short work of the teams we should be. Let's see where it takes us that's all we can ask.

10 Jun 2017 06:09:43
things are shaping up nicely

it could be argued we have more international quality than any of other teams chasing us in the SPL

I really feel good about the additions and feel Celtic will be worried as we are a new unit, we are very physical now and I feel we will overpower them

i want mckay to stay as on his day he is class

i believe we will progres i europe as no one knows much about our new team

one thing i'm angry about is Craig Whyte, I hear the tax payer is paying for his lawyer fees, he's making us look really bad still.

onwards and upwards

10 Jun 2017 02:13:00
With the new signings coming in it looks like we will need to send the younger lads out on loan. Out of all of them who would you want to keep.
I would like to see Barjonas Atayki getting game time and we must try to loan the others out Teams in our Lge and not the Championship.
Think it would be wise to send players like Holt and Dodoo to a Dundee or Thistle.

10 Jun 2017 04:58:14
Dnt think atakayi is ready for first team yet. he struggled against Celtic unders defence but maybe he just had a bad day at office.

10 Jun 2017 00:02:20
Think Pedro has done great early business but hope Walker and Dorrans can get done too as I fully believe a good balance of Scottish players and quality foreign players can bring us very watchable football with some success if they want it enough!

10 Jun 2017 02:02:26
Bears whether its before or after the 18th we must sign Morelos the lad has a massive future. At only 20 we would be in line to make a few bob too something that this Club has been denied.

10 Jun 2017 03:38:50
Don't think we need Walker and how much would he cost anyway?

10 Jun 2017 05:01:57
A hit the disagree by accident lol soz
