fellow bears, keeping it in the realms of being realistic and not suggesting ronaldo etc, who would yous like to see signed this summer?
personally i think 3/ 4 defenders
sumalia
alves
and 2 strong, experienced no nonsense (men as pedro put it)
based on the hope that rossiter is going to be and stay fit i'd like to see 2 midfielders in the same mould as ian ferguson (who i'd have loved to see play against scott brown btw)
kyle bartley (massively improved since he was last at the club) i think he would be perfect to play just in front of the 2 centre halves, he knows what the club's about, he would add a huge amount of steel to us nowadays and i friend at work who is a leeds fan says in interviews for certain leeds chanels and stations kyle has stated that rangers are and probably will be through out his career the biggest club he has ever played for.
and 1 other (suggestions please )
in attacking posistions i'd again like a couple of new additions
steven naismith, love him or hate him the fact is right now he is the best (realisticly) availible to us, his talent speaks for itself and could still do a job in the epl, he would bring a genuine bit of quality to us .
and please let's hope we pull a gem out of the hat, take our time, use our heads and get someone in who will at some point allow us to generate some serious cash with a very decent sell on fee, look at septic and dembele they could have spent £10 million on him and at the end of the day would still have made huge money on him, sometimes u meed to speculate a wee bit to accumulate in the future, if they manage to sign solanke from chelesa he also will eventually make them some serious dollar i honestly can't think of a player who could do this for us but there's got to be someone whod jump at tje chance to play for rangers.

11 May 2017 00:57:26
I think Miguel Veloso seems like a realistic signing! He's contract runs out this summer and at 31 he still has a lot to give! His wages might be a challenge!

11 May 2017 01:28:01
I will take the Argentinian guy and the Mexican guy for the defence along with Dorrans, a good strong holding midfield player from South America, (and there are plenty about), Somalia, Naismith and a quality striker.

I see a number of our ex-players and others saying that this is our most important transfer window. I just hope that King sees it that way!

11 May 2017 07:51:54
Can you please post a link where it says Naismith is free to join us? Keep hearing people on here saying this but I've not seen on heard anything that he is available and willing to come

11 May 2017 08:17:26
Would have bartley back in a heart beat solid player.

11 May 2017 11:16:19
Fleetwood Bear, Steven Naismith has NOT been released by Norwich, how exactly is he a realistic target? He cost £8.5 million less than 18 months ago and he would attract bids from several Championship and Premier League teams IMO. He's therefore IMO NOT a realistic target. The same can be said of Kyle Bartley who is still under contract at Swansea for one more season, if relegated they have a CB who knows the league inside out if NOT they will again attract offers for him most likely from Leeds and several other Championship clubs who can pay huge wages.

11 May 2017 12:39:10
Id take the mexican and argentinian in defence lol. Never thought i'd hear the day jesus. P. s ill keep posting on here everyday whether you post/ delete or laugh at my posts.

13 May 2017 00:21:55
Would love to see Bartley back along with Naismith

10 May 2017 23:20:33
Will vaulks doesn't want to play for any other club but rotheram - what a weirdo.

10 May 2017 23:52:16
His loss lol

11 May 2017 01:29:00
Presumably worried about the pressure of playing for Rangers. I won't lose sleep over that, there are better players out there!

11 May 2017 09:52:24
Or just doesn't want to piss off Rotherham by saying he would like to play for other teams

10 May 2017 19:37:38
Is this boy Ben from Motherwell any good and does he have any pace?

10 May 2017 22:57:46
Pace doesn't matter if you can't play football. Michael O Halloran comes to mind

12 May 2017 23:30:55
If these are the type of players pedro looking at get shot of him now and get someone else in asap . I don't think he will last til Xmas I really don't. I don't think he has a clue? Hope I'm wrong

10 May 2017 17:00:50
So alves isn't interested in moving to scotland and the ghanain would require a work permit, so who is pedros targets now for centre back? Liam lindsay?

10 May 2017 17:37:29
With King in charge it could be Kiernan and Wilson! I will be interested to see what unfolds but am not overly optimistic that we will see any quality signings. Just more bull from King until the season tickets are sold!

Alves was exactly the type of player we need for next season alongside half a dozen more new recruits with a decent footballing CV!

10 May 2017 17:39:31
There is the Argentinian defender from santos Laguna also alves deal not totally dead as I remember papers in the us saying that kranjcar has decided not to come because of his girlfriend that turned out to be false so we still don't know yet Hears hopeing tho would love to see alves at ibrox.

10 May 2017 19:40:24
Here is a thought. The papers don't have a clue who we are after. They are spinning crap and more crap! Pedro isn't giving much info up so the papers do what they do best, tell a bunch of lies.

10 May 2017 19:57:37
Keith (exclusive) Jackson of the daily rebel is worst for crap info ut latest signings.

10 May 2017 22:43:16
Alves will come, at his age when will you see European games again

10 May 2017 22:52:23
The argentinian signed a new three-year deal earlier in the year

10 May 2017 22:29:15
Who says the Ghanaian can't come over like

11 May 2017 01:30:34
The Argentinian signed a new deal but if he wants to come and we want him then its a simple job of negotiating a transfer fee!

11 May 2017 07:07:14
I know that but i get the feeing he wouldn't be cheap

11 May 2017 08:10:10
Gerz, he wouldn't get a visa, you need to have played in 75% of your countries international games in the past 2 years, Rashid has been involved in none. He could possibly get a visa, but there is a 99% chance he won't.

11 May 2017 14:54:05
JD, I suspect that you are right but it is up to King and Co., to back the manager and this transfer window will show us just how serious they are about mounting a challenge to Celtic. In King's case he is better using his money for these players than leaving it is South Africa since it won't be too long before the current Regime confiscates all the assets of European South Africans the way things are going in that country!

10 May 2017 16:58:21
Can anyone tell me what the all non season ticket home matches means when you are renewing your season ticket means. Do I have to click that to get the European games.

10 May 2017 17:18:42
SM it's the cup games which will include the Europa cup games at home.

10 May 2017 18:02:42
Ok thanks

10 May 2017 14:32:39
Does the fact that Pedro has MOH, Forrester and Kiernan in at 6am mean they still have a chance of being here next season?

10 May 2017 15:03:11
Maybe he's trying to see how far they will go, how far he can push them in the hope they might just think screw this i'm off.

10 May 2017 15:54:21
I like this to be fair. It's clear they have under performed and showed a lack of commitment. Caixinha seems to be taking steps to get a solid understanding of them as men, pushing them to see how they react. You never know, maybe he could get a player out of one of them, one things for sure, he will get a solid judgement on their character by doing this kind of thing which will help him moving forward.

I expect they will all get the chop anyway provided we can a) find suitors and b) replace them.

10 May 2017 17:42:01
That 3 will all get the chop Pedro could be doing this to piss them off so that they can't wait to just walk at end of season lol

10 May 2017 19:46:07
Kiernan is injured🤔 does that mean he is running around on crutches? Daily Rebel producing more lies?

11 May 2017 07:57:14
Deanobear

If you think the 3 will just walk away from their contracts they you are living in cloud cuckoo land. Only 2 ways they will leave if another club buys them or Rangers pay them off

10 May 2017 09:14:56
I know we have to be careful in terms of paying massive wages for new players. Though Septic have money to buy players, they too can't in the long run afford to massively increase their wage bill - it simply isn't sustainable in the Scottish game. They will reach the ceiling of what they can afford in wages and it is up to us to catch up as best we can.

10 May 2017 10:54:34
The biggest problem is they have a business plan that's at least 10 years ahead of ours. They don't need emergency loans to keep them a float and will probably earn another 30 million from the CL this season.

10 May 2017 16:50:31
£30million? They'll not even qualify!

10 May 2017 17:38:46
Do we have a Business Plan?

10 May 2017 18:03:21
Hahaha . Cinfinity I would worry about rangers and no bother about celtic.

10 May 2017 22:28:24
The good thing is they think they are better than they actually are. Complacency can be a bitch. Costly too.

10 may 2017 22:33:22
celtic will not qualify for cl this year! wonder how the green and grey will react to their messiah then.
btw not sure we will get el either but fingers crossed bears

10 May 2017 09:10:21
Berra signing for hearts.

10 May 2017 11:33:59
So what's your opinion then?

10 May 2017 17:06:03
I don't want anymore 30+ scottish players at ibrox it's been done to the death walter done it then ally too. With the exception of miller of course

10 May 2017 20:41:53
Berra signing for hearts! All the best he's rank rotten
