It must have been a hard decision for UOF spokesman Chris Graham to ask the SFA to step in over Mike Ashleys latest attempts on furthering his lot. Does anyone think they will step in on our behalf?I personally don't want anything from them.

How would it be a hard decision?

He does anything Dave King tells him to do, well he does now although he was a huge supporter of Craig Whyte and Charles Green.

What power do the footballing authorities really have over Mike Ashley anyway?

Does he not only own shares in the holding company RIFC?

You tell me Naz. I'm no expert on shares you'd be doing me a favour.

Spot on Naz, What is happening is the yes men are now under King's orders.
I have said, many times, that these characters do not speak for the majority of us. I believed King was the man to take us forward but all he has done is screw us, in an effort to get the club for hee haw. Where would we be if it was down to his input----- slightly more in the mire than we are now, I think.
Yes, Ashley is in it to make money, but I would bet London to an orange that we would be dead and buried without his recent input of cash, albeit via loans, I presume.
Yes, we have been shafted by Green etc. , but why was our situation left to us hanging on by our fingertips? Simple the 'Rangers men' wanted to get us for a song.
We need to waken up and understand that we pay to watch our team and we cannot influence the power struggle without causing more damage.
King etc. had their chance first time round, now they need to put up or shut up, but, in my opinion, Ashley is in the driving seat and any deal will be on his terms.

What input of cash is that billyb?I said on here last week I've no problem with Ashley taking over, look and see,but he bought shares elsewhere instead of from the club.I'm not aware of any loans he's made yet. Anyone else heard of these loans?

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb have i missed smething when did ashley give rangers a loan seriously I've never heard of such loans as for asking the sfa to get involved well it seems when the sfa allowed ashley to buy shares is was pointed out to him no more than 10 per cent and was also explained to him that it was an investment ONLY he would not be allowed to try rocking the boat i know he is the biggest single invester but rules were laid down and as we have been told ourself on many occasions rules are rules

Gkk & Tmwtn, If not Ashley who has kept our head above water? Simple arithmetic shows our outlays are more than our income and we had precious little in the bank. Maybe the delayed account issue will clarify same.
As for a loan, any interested party can lend money, at whatever terms that are suitable!

Honestly, some people need to engage their brains on here before lunging at their keyboards foaming at the mouth. My point about Chris Graham and the SFA,I was just saying it must be hard for any Rangers man asking that lot for help.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb anybody can loan money that's a new one to me surely it would have been mentioned to the lse

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb who has kept our head above water what's that about money was running out quicker than expected thus new shares issue last week 3, 1 million raised i hope that helped you find out why we haven't sunk YET

Billyb has Green got his hand up your butt too, What are you talking about. Ashley has put pennies(maybe a pound) into our club. My season ticket has put more money in then he has. get real man

Agree0 Disagree0

Billy it was letham and easdale who kept us going with their loans back earlier this year and then the shareholders who bought shares worth 3.1m in the recent share issue, and of course all the bears who bought st and match day tickets,

Yes gkk, you are correct at 7], I did go off, on a tangent, but the mention of the uof is like a red rag to a bull. I'm not going to debate the responses to my comments, enough to say, wait and see the accounts.
Just one point to Delboy, if you have noted any of my posts you will see how ridiculous your comment is.

Billyb I had no idea your dislike for the UOF ran so deeply.Upon publication of the annual accounts it transpires that you are correct regarding loans from Ashley,I will be the first to commend you on your insight.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gkk if it turns out to be true lol i will double no triple not five fold any loans ashley has givin to rangers fc to date that's how cofident i am on this i would even give good odds to anybody that wants a punt on it

Agree0 Disagree0

Tmwtn don't forget there is a 1.5m credit facility with sports direct which was part of the rangers retail agreement, never heard if we have used that or not

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Jg i don't know if we used it either but any money ashley puts out he wants back so imo he ain't loaned rangers any money ffs he even has a reciept for the nicker for tax reasons of course

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely a loan is when you advance money and get it back at a later date [normally with interest. ]?

Agree0 Disagree0

@18, not if you call it an EBT, seemingly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb you call it what you want ;he has not loaned rangers any money or lse would have been told its that simple
