Can we all wish Gerd Muller of the great Bayern Munich all the best . The guys family has Made public he is suffering from Alzhiemers . Had the pleasure of watching him at Ibrox in the
Cup Winners Cup semi.

Aye Henderson. I also was at that game and an earlier game against Bayern in the late 60's. Beckenbauer and Muller stood behind the goals open mouthed as the fans tried to frighten them to death! I think it finished 1-1 and we went out on away goals or 2-1 on aggregate. Muller was a great player. Didn't see thighs like that again till I met the wife!

No it was 2. 0 gers parlane scored the second Beckenbaur took the huff because wee Willie jonston took the pisd out of them

No it was 2 0 the gers parlane scored and the great Beckenbaur took the huff because Willie Johnston toom the Micky out of them I was behind the bayren goal when Willie sat on the ball at the corner flag then kicked it into the gers fans I caught the ball but police took it of me

I was there . 2 0 to Gers Jardine early on then Parlane later. Gers went on to win the cup. Only lost 1 game in tournament the game against Sporting but got into next round on away goals after Willie Waddell had to show the ref the rule book as he was going to go to penalties.

Think you may have got use scores mixed up seeker, I rember rangers played Bayern a few times, last time was a good few years ago when we got robbed by a dodgy free kick or something like that, if I remember rightly, and I may not be Mikey Mol's got serious injury in away game

i'm sure there was an earlier tie in the late sixties when we went out either on away goals (0-0 in germany and 1-1 at ibrox) or they won 1-0 at their place and it was 1-1 at ours? Help! I was there with my dad and it was defo before we won the cup winners cup

success! Just googled it. It was the 1970-1971 fairs cup. 1-0 to bayern in the first leg and then 1-1 at ibrox. Can't remember our scorer. Either stein or johnston i think? Maybe not!
