Great start to the season and I hope it continues. I do feel people are getting a bit too excited, as we are still playing against poor teams. It's just such a change from the rubbish we have been watching over the last few years.
I know we are still being linked with a few players Allan, May (although mainly on rumour sites), eustace and the 2 spurs loanees.
Personally I feel that unless we sell someone, then we should only sign one more player.
I would like to see Allan in a Rangers shirt but realistically it will be next year.
So it is more likely we will get eustace.
I do think particularly want to see any loanees from spurs or any other club this year. We have a decent squad, good enough to get through the championship. And so if there is going to be any youth players getting a chance, I hope it's hardie and murdoch.
I feel it would be a really good test this year to play against one of the Scottish premiership top 6 in the cup this year. It would be a good test to play Dundee utd or Aberdeen. Just to give us an idea how we would fair in the top league next season.
Also, I haven't heard anything about wages this summer. Obviously there was a lot of talk of it last year as we had a lot of players who were overpaid. Does anyone know what sort of wage the new signings are on? I would assume most of them would be an around £7k to £10k a week as they have all come from decent clubs. But surely when Waghorn signed for Leicester, he would've been on £15k to £20k?

there is NO WAY that new players salaries are similar to last seasons embarrassments.

CBeattie this post is slightly miss informed, Eustace is training with the squad and is very likely to sign for us (not a rumour, Warburton said it HIMSELF) Also most of our players are apparently on around 5-7k(this is the new players)

All we're hearing is Scott Allan, Scott Allan, if he comes all well and good, and he would be a good addition to a squad that looks like night and from the past few years, but what about this name, who I think would also be a very astute signing. Charlie Christie from Inverness??
Thoughts people.

Ryan* good player but I think it would take a big amount to get him, they have such a small squad. Peter pawlett would be a good signing.

I'm sure it's Ryan Christie if I'm not mistaken.
And I don't know why it is annoying everyone so much about Allan. How can people get tired of it? Speculation happens all the time among players and clubs and I think we will just have to get used to it because whether people like it or not it will keep going until the day he signs.

He is a good player and will 100% get better, watched him at Hibs a lot last season as a Rangers fan and he is an exciting player. I'm not trying to say he is the best player ever by any means but in terms of the position we are in he is the one of the best we can get!

{Ed039's Note - It is Ryan, Charlie is his father)

Dean Shiels is definitely worth a call up with Northern Ireland! The boy is would fit in really well alongside Steve Davis A brilliant addition to the squad #FACT

Based on what Kaz?A few good appearances against poor opposition,Peterhead among them.Let's be honest here,I'm as enthusiastic as the next man about the way things are going under Warburton but I'm also a realist.
