Yea my problem is too that last season after two games we were at a rush to buy Emerson Hyndman I think cause he had two great games. then he fell away. don't think Coulabaly is the same but you never know give it another few games I say.

Things looking really good atm guys with the sale of windy and John and between 500 and 700k for the sale of waggy to derby. I'm also not sure if we had a sell on clause for Joey gardner. That's 3.8 million min in so basically we have 11 players in for just over 4 million and have sell on clauses in john and windy sale.

So basically what I'm saying is there should still be a few quid in the kitty to buy another couple of quality players. Striker and a attacking mid think the centre half is sorted with that boy coming on loan

Hearts look compact and difficult to beat but I reckon win tomorrow then next week and go in to old firm celtic and Brenda will be under pressure I feel a good season but not getting carried away we need to focus and make sure we win our games let's go rangers.

Hi everyone weekends here, isn't it great we all can't wait for the next game to come along and they're coming thick and fast, Rangers are playing very well and getting better exciting times at Ibrox at the moment. I feel we should get Coulibaly fixed up permanent asap, he's been brilliant and if he keeps it up his price will rocket. I like that SG has brought in big athletic guys it's what we've been crying out for no more soft touch. 2or3 more please striker defender and attacking mid if possible. c'mon us.

I agree Robbie. I've just posted on this and I think a player of the Mark Hateley style would be right for this team. Big physical player who is tough enough not to get pushed around. I think it would be a perfect partnership for Morelos and should see the start some goals from the wee man.

Without being disrespectful to any of the other SPL teams, I think one of our biggest tests will be how we are able to break down teams who play with 10 defenders against us. Although we were last seasons top scorers we struggled in this respect too often imo. Of course we all want to beat Celtic and at our best (second half against Maribor) I think we can.

Morning Bears. It feels good to be a Bear again this morning. I'm looking forward to a solid win over St Mirren tomorrow and maybe Hearts can derail the unwashed today. Apart from the aim for us overtaking the unwashed this season, I think Hibs will pose a bigger threat than the Sheep. What do others think? Also, the board should be congratulated for appointing and then backing Gerrard. I'm really excited about the season ahead.

I agree I mentioned last week that its not Celtic we need to focus on its Hibs

Hibs will be a decent team this year for sure

Aberdeen do not pose the same threat as last year, not strong enough upfront

Be good to see Barisic play tomorrow cannot wait Looks a real workhorse

Be good to see Flanagan in his most natural position we he defends better than Tavernier and allow Tavernier to go up the field.

We should focus on Rangers which SG will certainly do, just noting that Hibs seem to have a bigger goalscoring threat than Aberdeen and maybe us if we don't get another striker to support Morelos! I agree with LDM17. Let's see where we are by Christmas. If we are still in Europe, no worse than 2nd in the league within 2 or 3 points of the leaders (or top ourselves), then that would be the time to get really excited.

Yes doiger, but if we want to win the league then we should be focusing on competing with the team that's going for 8 in a row and not the team that finished 4th last year. It would be foolish not to have an eye on celtic and I'm sure gerrard is very aware of what his main threat are doing👍.

McGinn and McGeough are massive losses for Hibs. Like Aberdeen with Christie, McLean and to a lesser extent Rooney. We've improved and these teams are have got significantly weaker so from that point of view I am confident that we'll comfortably finish clear of both. Hearts at Tyncastle will probably be our toughest game behind Celtic at Parkhead and Ibrox however I'd expect Celtic to find this tie equally difficult . I honestly believe in what Gerrard said post match against the sheep, we are a class above and I believe that to be the case for every other team apart from Celtic based on our start to the season and our strength in depth we have in our squad. Still missing Rossiter and Dorrans and I think we've got a couple of signings in us yet. No other team out with Celtic has the quality or resources we have and finally with the right manager in place we can leave the rest behind and focus on stopping Celtics dominance.

What about the fiasco over the strips? We were told it was sorted and we were rid of Ashley. Now into the 2nd week of the league and still no sign of strips for the supporters absolutely embarrassing.

It's about time the Newcastle fans had grew a pair a balls and started boycotting the matches (I know its easier said and done as for many fans its their weekend after a hard weeks work and have been going to matches for years! ) The only way to fix it is not to buy shirts and boycott the games until he is forced to sell up He has not given Rafa any fundings whatsoever in comparisons to the others in the EPL!
