Yasssss 6 going on 10 -1 today. Buzzing to see the team starting to click. can't wait for next sunday now!

11 Feb 2018 23:03:06
It was only Ayr calm down

12 Feb 2018 08:31:31
Difficult cup tie on a horrible surface against the top scorers domestically in Britain.

Excellent result and second half we were brillant at times. Plenty of positives to be taken from that.

12 Feb 2018 10:51:17
Jm spot on mate, what could of been a very tricky tie turned out well for us, in difficult conditions, i could maybe underatand its only ayr if we were home but ill take that result no worries at all and hopefully fire some confidence into them

12 Feb 2018 13:22:37
We came good in the end, thought we over-passed it a bit in the first half, but when we got faster and quicker balls in to the box we looked a different team in the second half. Onward and upward!

12 Feb 2018 15:29:15
Deanobear. If Warburton or Pedro had been in charge we would have lost that game.

12 Feb 2018 15:32:49
After some of the results we have had recently the “its only Ayr” doesn’t apply. Ayr would have won our European tie for example. got to take the positives from the win and confidence it should generate throughout squad. Let’s get a wee run of wins going!

11 Feb 2018 18:56:17
Good result for the bears today, was well chuffed for Murphy getting his first goal for his team and also Morelos after that howler he needed the goals. That guy just loves scoring you can tell and the fact that transfer speculation around him makes the Celtic fans so agitated is a bonus! Well done Windass as well for his double that’s how to respond to criticism!

Same again next Sunday if you please! 😃

11 Feb 2018 22:19:36
I know it was only Ayr United and no disrespect intended but we had some really good performers out there. Tavanier, Murphy, Docherty, Morelos, Windass but the pick for me was Goss.
If we could get that lad signed up permanently what a result that would be.
We also have Wallace, Dorrans and Jack to come back in. The squad is looking stronger by the day.

11 Feb 2018 23:02:16
Team looks hungry. That's what we need. Get performances up next few weeks then bring on celtic.

11 Feb 2018 23:14:25
Think docherty was a really smart buy, boy really does impress me

12 Feb 2018 01:35:12
I’m a huge fan of Morelos, he works so hard for the team, drops deep links up play great with his back to goal bringing other players into play, yes he missed a sitter it did bobble but back he came first great finish, his second he started it from midfield great ball out to the wing layer it off again then was in the six yard box to finish it great goal

12 Feb 2018 08:10:59
He's a good player. Still find strange we never took the money if it was offered. But am happy he stays. Will score another 10 at least. What delights me more is seeing him and cummings both in box and both wanting to score. Unreal we have abit of depth in squad like Wallace, Jack, Alves, Dorrans not even in squad. It was only Ayr but they got thumped. that's the message we need to send out. Teams can be hungry against us but we're starving. Bring it on.

12 Feb 2018 11:41:37
I'm also a big fan of Goss! Was totally underwhelmed when we signed him but what an intelligent big player he is and a wand of a left peg into the bargain! Get him signed

11 Feb 2018 14:20:56
Think it's gone quiet supercooper because gers being more clever/ strategic bout their next strip manufacturer. Read a lot bout who/ when. Just don't care as long as gers sort out merchandising/ strip issue and negotiate better deal than one with fat mick. Gers merchandising could put club back in healthy financial position within season. Club could generate enough money to regenerate stadium to 70 thousand capacity within 5. Doesn't take much working out.

11 Feb 2018 17:51:21
Review of options, financial implications and negotiations being completed by the board in private as it should be.

12 Feb 2018 01:08:56
The boy goss looks class also impressed with docherty. Future looks bright with macrorrie and hopefully some more of the under 20s breaking through.

12 Feb 2018 06:10:39
Club could generate enough money to regenerate stadium to 70,000,how much are you expecting from the retail deal? . We have no shops, no retail infrastructure, we need to relay on other who will have fingers in the pot. Oh and we borrowed £3m already for stadium repairs probably to get a safety certificate for next season, probably at exorbitant rates

12 Feb 2018 13:14:35
It would be criminal for us not to sign Sean Goss permanently, the boy looks fantastic and considering he had only played I think 6 senior professional games before moving to Rangers his future looks very bright indeed, that left foot of his is incredible 🔵⚪🔴

11 Feb 2018 13:39:49
Strong line up but kinda feel for candieas, he’s been playing well, but good to see we can drop in form players with the depth we have now

11 Feb 2018 14:07:53
Forgot to add, whos captain today with hold on bench?

11 Feb 2018 17:55:19
Impressed by the boy Docherty today, looks strong, combative with good skill and pace. Think he will do very well for us. All 5 of Mury’s January acquisitions started game today and thought all did well and will only get better.

11 Feb 2018 19:53:00
Bankie --- "the boy" Docherty is most definitely all you say he is -- and more. Alongside McCrorie we must have two for the future (and right now of course) --- how many more of our youngsters can you add to this twosome fellow bears?

11 Feb 2018 20:04:19
Well done lads. Thought could have been ten. Wes howler unusual for him so no worries. Front boys did great. Could have been dodgy with losing 1st goal and conditions. Team looks like they are geling. Onwards and upwards.

11 Feb 2018 03:19:13
Murty has to be given a permanent contract in May. If not only GvB or FdB has to be given the job ASAP. On a budget there cannot be better than Murty. If we have dollars to burn then Frank or Gio. I defy anybody to disagree.

11 Feb 2018 06:14:40
Tell me you're kidding jfc Murty is the ideal man, if we are not bothered about winning at Ibrox that is.

11 Feb 2018 07:08:16
Said all along that Gio v B would be my no.1 choice but he may be ungettable, it’s one thing paying the man £1-£2M per year I think we could stretch to that for the right man but for someone like him to make a move to us right now from a relatively comfortable position where he is then he would be looking for sizeable budgets for players and players wages to overhaul the squad.

I’m 100% behind Murty and hope that he goes on to win over the majority however if it doesn’t work out and we look elsewhere come the end of the season then Gio would be a fantastic appointment!

11 Feb 2018 09:03:03
Aww the blue bells are blue

11 Feb 2018 09:17:23
Lets see where we end up at the end of the season but deciding if murty is the answer. Steve Clarke at Kilmarnock shows what a decent coach/ manager can do.

11 Feb 2018 09:43:10
My opinion, if murty can do what he has done on a budget I for one would Love to see what he can do with funds

11 Feb 2018 10:57:28
Totaly agree with you dazrfc86. Give Murty a decent budget next transfer window then judge him. To many people on here are quick to criticise him. Yes he was our youth coach and was asked to step up, now he's was never going to knock that back as he may never have the chance again. Good luck Graham Murty.

11 Feb 2018 11:12:30
I like murty but he's not experienced enough he takes to long to make changes in a match when it's not working not ruthless enough to make changes at half time or even before. i'd be happy with Clarke or O'Neil

11 Feb 2018 12:03:54
What has murty done exactly? Beating the sheep and drawing against c*ltic was great but what about the games against Kilmarnock, Hamilton, Dundee, hibs? If we get second, fine give murty a rolling contract. Anything else then it's a no from me

11 Feb 2018 13:47:16
Not winning at girls isn't because of murt y it's more to do with the fans that about abuse at our Own players

11 Feb 2018 14:49:19
How can Murty get job, we r terrible. This game has disaster all over it

11 Feb 2018 17:36:02
Hi Stirling, can you explain your quote " THIS GAME HAS DISASTER ALL OVER IT "?

11 Feb 2018 19:08:46
@goalie - I think you will find it was jboy17 that quoted that lol

11 Feb 2018 19:09:40
talking about another manager while we have one is as good as expecting your team to fail . means diff things to diff people i guess. murty is the man for me. some gers fans are worse than the other side

11 Feb 2018 19:36:30
Kennyd9, you are indeed correct. My apologies my friend.

11 Feb 2018 21:03:50
Murty might well become a success, I hope he is but let's just wait and see how the season goes before judging him a success?

11 Feb 2018 23:25:43
He's been given the job till the end of the season. Can we at least wait till then before passing judgement! In the meantime let's get behind him! Windass and Morelos may well be gone in the summer too but at the moment they are two of our best forwards who need our support.

11 Feb 2018 23:57:54
FDB is hopeless.

12 Feb 2018 00:02:35
If he wins the Scottish Cup, give him the job.

12 Feb 2018 13:19:32
Under Murty we look a million times better than we did under Pedro, I'd like to see Murty get the job personally, twice now he has took the reigns when we were in serious trouble and in circumstances where nobody else would have wanted to touch us, in my opinion Murty comes across well in interviews, seems to have the dressing room behind him and needs thanking massively for helping out our magnificent football club in our hour of need (something for which I will be forever greatful) 🔵⚪🔴
