Dirk Kuyt, Renato Tapia and ikechi anya should be 3 of pedros main signings next season.

11 May 2017 20:53:24
And nigel de joong

11 May 2017 20:34:59
Bumped into Brendan Rodgers at costa in braehead tonight. Took the time for a few snaps with myself and the wee man. Lovely guy. He was saying that he has really enjoyed his time in glasgow. When i jokingly said so whens yer bus back doon the road he replied " maybe sooner than you think".

12 May 2017 06:35:03
aye kenny miller reveals tactics for the following year and brendan tells a bear he might be leaving.

12 May 2017 08:58:03
Some rubbish gets said on here HONESTLY

12 May 2017 11:19:43
Best moon howling comment i've read this week, away and section yourself!

13 May 2017 00:57:57
all far too expensive players to buy for Rangers at present moment in time

11 May 2017 20:25:40
Looking up more on the guy heneghan 6'3 and looks really strong physically could be a good signing but would still like the guy sumuila aswell. Of course if motherwell fans are going to say he's rubbish if they think he is leaving.

11 May 2017 20:36:05
You serious mate. The boy needs a good feed. What happened to statement fae pedro saying he wants " men " in the squad. Wee guy looks like a long distance runner

11 May 2017 21:04:07
Doesn't make him any less a man just because he 'looks a bit skinny' in other words

11 May 2017 21:11:57
i couldn't care less how much of a 'man' he is

m'well are battling relegation and have 2nd worse defence in SPL and he's played every game.

i might be pre-judging his pedigree but i reckon we need better

much better

11 May 2017 21:19:58
Certainly not the top drawer centre back I was hoping for! We would be as well sticking with what we have unless we are looking at him as backup for the Argentinian guy and the Portuguese centre back!

12 May 2017 07:40:07
I don't think we need to look any further than Glasgow for our next defender. Liam Lindsey is a must for me

13 May 2017 00:50:04
If he comes he'll be back up but we can't waste 500k not unless MOH is involved and its a swap but Well need to stay up for that to happen

13 May 2017 01:17:06
We definetly cannot afford to spend 500k on a back up!
Apparently going for Moult too. I hope that we can shift some deadwood player to Well as part of the deal.
In for Whittaker too so looks like Tavs is going to Forrest!
Question Bears how much do we let Tavs go for and minding Warbs knows our situation financially. I hope we can get anything over 800k but I do think he's a 1m player

11 May 2017 18:17:32
Huntelaar being released what do you thing of that guys a option 33 now maybe be on to high wages.

11 May 2017 14:51:52
Just seen the daily records bit on the guy heneghan fae motherwall. And the 500k price tag being slapped on him. Somebody gni enlighten me as to who this guy is.

11 May 2017 16:39:29
Iv watched us play Motherwell few times this season and I I tend to watch sport scene most weeks but I don't really know who he is lol he has obviously not done anything spectacular and 500,000 price tag that is not cheap.

11 May 2017 18:35:14
Swap for moh but i reckon its A no go and just pish from the daily rebel rag

11 May 2017 19:55:59
Knowger

Motherwell couldn't afford MOH's wages

11 May 2017 20:44:40
If we are Gonny sign a cd in scotland it has to be Liam Lindsay imo.

11 May 2017 20:54:35
Got to be worth a shot maybe we can through in kieban for free like a bogof deal ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

13 May 2017 00:42:28
Totally agree with you jaws! I also really rate big liam lindsay!

12 May 2017 19:09:55
Reckon that if true and MOH is part of a swap deal then this could Bro happening with a few of the players we do not want ie deals that include a fee and player and in that case yeah I would rather have an prospect at Ibrox and get rid if a MOH or Kiernan etc thoughts Bears. getting rid of these players this way could be the only way to go yeah

11 May 2017 12:33:35
4 qualifiers to even get into Europa league that's shocking man. its never gny happen let's be honest.

11 May 2017 13:16:24
Have you only just realised this? The 3rd and 4th rounds will be teams like Everton/ Man Utd (if they don't win this year) So hopefully we get a lucky draw and can get past the first or second round.

11 May 2017 14:18:15
If man utd win europa league then the sheep go in at the next round after us . shame we missed out on 2nd place

11 May 2017 14:41:08
We will struggle unless Pedro is able to sign four or five players that come straight into the team! He pretty much needs a new defence and midfield not forgetting a quality striker to partner Miller.

Realistically, it ain't going to happen.

Right now we would be lucky to get past Irish League teams with the players we have!

11 May 2017 14:53:56
A thought it was 3 qualifiers all in but just found out last night it will be 4 ๐Ÿ˜’

11 May 2017 15:05:29
It's pretty brutal going but on the off chance we do get through a few rounds our co-efficient will improve and in future may not get papped in at the first stage. Have to agree with TOMUSA, it's not realistic!

11 May 2017 16:29:50
Good source of income. 4 matches at home with i roc full and bouncing. Latter rounds on tv. Should be a good windfall and added to income from group stages will help with our climb to top

11 May 2017 21:13:46
StefReid

There isn't a chance that Ibrox will be full for at least 3 of the qualifiers and tbh I don't think we will get by the second round. Don't expect to make any money from the europa cup as we will be out before the league season starts

12 May 2017 12:06:22
Holiday season means many bears away toasting their crumpets abroad. I know 5 season ticket holders inc myself who will be away on the dates we have been told

12 May 2017 19:03:09
We should be able to get through first couple of Rounds but so should Sheep and Saints! But then the teams in 3rd round could be tricky the teams in that stage last year were decent BUT depending on signings who knows?
We must not spend a poss 500k on a young CB! If we had a decent Transfer Budget and the playet was a really decent prospect then yeah but we cannot afford to spend money ogre the little we have.

11 May 2017 10:16:24
HITC now reporting rangers should go after iheanacho from man city he's 20 years old with bags of potential and scored 14 goals in 30 premier league matches omg where do they find this stuff that guy is easily worth 8M transfer fee I'm sure other epl teams are chasing him I got to laugh at some of these rumours .

11 May 2017 10:27:48
Could always swap him for waghorn ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ we are going to be linked with every man and his dug for next month or 2

11 May 2017 10:47:57
Man City are looking to put the young guy out on loan for this season coming, they have aguero and jesus plus their looking to bring in another striker so that wil push iheanacho further down the pecking line, there will no chance he comes to us but could be a possability he goes to the manky mob across the city due to the development paddy roberts has made with them!

11 May 2017 12:41:38
He's more likely to end up on the other side of Glasgow. Ie roberts

11 May 2017 14:14:57
Especially as lawless son is a manager at man city

11 May 2017 14:45:12
I doubt very much that our current Board are strategic enough to look at players like this and with King in charge it will always be the cheap option.

There are a significant number of quality players available on Bosmans, but they will not come cheap, and there are players, plying their trade in South America and Eastern Europe as well as the lower leagues in Italy, Spain and Germany but just as previously, we will need to depend on the manager's contacts since our Executive Management appear to be devoid of a future strategy for the club both on and off the field!

11 May 2017 15:08:40
it's totally ludicrous to think that iheanacho would be coming anywhere near us! It's not a lack of stategy from the board, you just obviously have no clue about football if you think that boy will ever play in the spfl.

11 May 2017 16:13:46
Why Og, years ago the same would have been said about Souness, Butcher, Woods etc., and guess what!

We need quality players if we are to come anywhere close to Celtic and looking at the players we currently have at our disposal we are more likely to be scrapping it out for a top six finish next season than for first place.

The Rangers Board and King need to up their ambition!

11 May 2017 21:16:47
TOMUSA

Butcher and Woods came up to Scotland as the English teams were banned from Europe. There is no chance that player will come to us or Celtic. If he was to go out on loan far bigger teams in bigger leagues would be after him

11 May 2017 23:26:01
That being the case Bengy, how do you account for Celtic signing the Manchester City guy on a two year loan and also signing Dembele and Sinclair.

Money talks and our problem right now is that we do not appear to have any!

In order to be successful in any business you need to take risks and generally, in soccer, quality players don't come cheap.

I still believe that deals can be done if you have clever people at the top. It is, after all, not that long ago that we signed Buomsong!

12 May 2017 12:08:43
TOMUSA
Liewells son is in the group at MCFC who decides who goes on loan where

13 May 2017 00:47:51
butcher was an established england international when he joined rangers from relegated ipswich, i can't think of an established england international nowadays that we would have the slightest chance of signing so our current situation isn't really conparable with back then

13 May 2017 00:50:38
Celtic's Roberts hasn't even kicked a ball for Man City so it's a bit of a stretch to compare with a guy who was their 2nd choice striker under pellegrini. honestly mate your making yourself look silly, louis moult or liam boyce is more realistic

11 May 2017 09:49:36
So we've managed to go from Bruno Alves to Ben Heneghan in the space of a week. it's going to be a long summer.

11 May 2017 12:49:48
I've got horrible feeling Pedros going to keep waghorn hope I'm wrong guy is waste of a jersey and a wage.

11 May 2017 14:47:38
He can only get rid of these players if someone comes in for them and Waghorn is not alone in being a player we should not have at Rangers. Halliday and Kiernan are two others that are a waste of a jersey!

Right now I am more interested about who we sign and just have to hope that Pedro is able to bring in a few quality players through his contacts. It sure as damn it won't happen as a result of a Scouting System!

11 May 2017 16:51:08
When asked about the motherwell lad in an interview he didn't confirm anything but did go on to talk about looking for players for the team now and future. Maybe we see potential in the lad a bit like bates?

11 May 2017 16:52:21
I'd keep Garner 1st before waghorn at least Joey puts himself about but waghorn is absolute brutal, I hope Pedro shows Waggy the door

11 May 2017 21:17:58
It's a mystery why Waghorn still gets a game

11 May 2017 09:30:11
With the summer transfer window not opening until 1st July, can we use new players in the qualifier on the 29th june? do UEFA allow trialists to play in these games? ED can you shed some light on this?

{Ed001's Note - I don't believe triallists are allowed in any UEFA-affiliated competition.}

11 May 2017 10:15:17
The 2017 summer transfer window opens on Saturday July 1 for English clubs. In Scotland as well as France, Germany, Italy and Spain, the window will be open from June 9.

11 May 2017 12:42:43
Which is when uefa ask for squad numbers for europa league

11 May 2017 07:12:47
People still saying Naismith, it's getting old now. Does PC know him or played against him regularly? No. Therefore it's not happening. He's clearly stated he's bringing in players he knows well and by the way he's talking they're already in the bag.

11 May 2017 08:37:33
He never said only players he knew, I think he is aiming for a core of players he's worked with

11 May 2017 08:43:17
He's going to bring in some players he's worked and that depends if he can get them. what is he going to knock back good players because he's not worked with them before give us a break

11 May 2017 09:00:48
Can't see naismith coming back to us think the wages would be stumbling block what you think lads?

11 May 2017 09:21:54
Albertz, Naismith is in the same boat as Berra, he wants to come home for his family. Naismith has made his money and looks likely to be wanting something closer to home.

11 May 2017 10:15:34
He's said he will take on players who he's worked closely with before or who he has seen perform on a regular basis against one of his teams. He has also stated yesterday - โ€œAll of them want to come and I know them as well. I appreciate all the efforts and work these players are doing to come here to us.

โ€œSo it is a question of getting the deals done and then making the announcements. โ€

11 May 2017 11:00:41
Hope your right onlyshowaround but it's usual his head might be turned if another club offers the 50k a week he's on just now.

11 May 2017 14:49:53
It is also a case of being given the transfer budget to acquire these players and I suspect that one or two of them will not come cheap!
