I think i'm missing something in our CEO, s latest statement?
Green and Whyte and not involved? sounds good to me Mr Wallace.
BUT, why later in your talk you then state. "The 26% block of shares that the Easdale brothers have largely is the original backers of Charles Green so I am pretty sure he is behind the scenes somewhere. "
Forgive me being a bit"thick" but does that not actually mean, he is still involved?
Also Mr Wallace you made great paly previously of how you have read the minutes etc went over numebr of things been happening at Ibrox in great detail it seems?
But. somehow you havnet managed to get round to actually finding out who owns our assest? as you say to Sky the following?
"We are reasonably confident that Craig Whyte doesn't have a legal claim over the assets, but what we don't know is any side deals he may have with Charles Green, " said Murray.
Reasonably sure? surely you can tell for definite who owns the assets? or can't you? now I really am getting a bit worried. because you have been in this "game" for a number of years now and I would thought after your minute investigations of everything going on at Ibrox, you could tell who had what,? I also see you only mention Whyte doesn't have cklaim over any of our assests? and not Green? Agian I am hoping this is only a memory "slip" on your part and you in fact meant both the "chancers"?
You at first got my attention il give you that? but now I wonder? and as for the "BROTHERS" OR "THE KRAY TWINS" what benifit are they gaining by holding Green and his backers share issue.? They haven't bought them? they have been loaned them, is that what your saying? John le Carré couldn't write this bloody lot of intrigue and shennanigins.

{Ed039's Note - You have read the statement all wrong Ally, Wallace didnt say the following: "We are reasonably confident that Craig Whyte doesn't have a legal claim over the assets, but what we don't know is any side deals he may have with Charles Green, " and "The 26% block of shares that the Easdale brothers have largely is the original backers of Charles Green so I am pretty sure he is behind the scenes somewhere. "
These statements were made by Paul Murray, one of the requisitionars, probably scaremongering prior to the AGM to win fans votes. This is the statement made by Mr Wallace in reply to Paul Murray's accusations -

"I have never met those individuals and I can categorically say they have no involvement in the running of this club.

"The club needs stability, it needs the platform to be able to move forward and the AGM will be a pivotal moment.

"There have been a lot of conversations over the recent weeks and months over the relative merits of particular campaigns and particular areas of interest to individuals.

"What I am concerned about is having the stability and the opportunity to take the club forward and we need to have that mandate.

"We will have a wide range of supporters engaged with us in the run-up to the AGM and they want to know the club is in good hands with people in the boardroom who genuinely have Rangers at heart.

"I can categorically give them that assurance from the CEO's chair. My focus, 100%, is to drive this business forward."

You need to really read who said what before getting yourself worked up my friend)

Ed well put, especially your last sentence

Ally, you are missing something, Paul Murray is mud slinging to get rid of Stockbridge and get himself onto the board. I used to trust PM's intentions but of late he is coming across as desperate and self interested.
The board looks ok, the Easdales look ok, the assets look ok and the future looks ok.
I have had just about enough of Celtic internet bampots with their conspiracy theories, I couldn't handle Rangers fans joining in on the madness. There is no evidence CW/CG are still involved in Rangers, so why do you think they are?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - I dont think he is saying he does think this, I just think the OP misread the statement)

Steer,

The whole thing stinks. I am surprised you think the future looks ok, you must be in a huge minority there. These guys have bled the club dry, I would not trust anyone of them. My idea is to always give people a chance to prove themselves. That view has been severely tested. CW and CG disappointed to put it mildly.

The board, Easdales, assets and future look opaque to me. I would go with Mcoll/ Murray team. Time will tell.

Agree0 Disagree0

I APOLOGISE,, silly me, etc etc.
Mis read quote in a moment of groundhog day feelings.
Still at loss how Mr Wallace hasn't read anything about our past though in respect of Green Whyte etc? would thought that be paramount.

THE Advertising Standards Authority will later this month confirm it has ruled in favour of Rangers Football Club in its investigation into a recent advertising campaign.

The ASA received complaints regarding a series of adverts featuring the slogan "Scotland's most successful club".
The advertising watchdog did not uphold those complaints and although they opened a new investigation after their decision was appealed, the Club has been informed that their original decision stands.
The ASA backs a number of other high profile organisations in recognising the long and rich history which the Club enjoys.
Their ruling will follow similar recognition, from the game's governing bodies and a series of independent panels, of the Club's long and continued success which has seen a haul of 115 major honours in a 141-year history.

Who will Timmy turn to next in his desperation, can you appeal against an appeal?

{Ed039's Note - This is old news, I think I read this on Rangers website back in June or July??)

It was posted on official site yesterday. I believe certain individuals questioned the original decision and it went to appeal. They won't be happy. You would think they would be smiling after the comedy show on last night. Made me laugh, and I was watching the BBC.

ED039 - this was announced on the 11 December and is the result of the timmys appeal against the decision from the original case brought to the ASA by the timmys, what will they try next in their desperation?

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - I didnt even know it had been appealed, it is such a non story to be honest I actually thought it had gone away)
