With Mcrorie looking likely to miss out tomorrow and the very limited number of midfield options we have found ourselves with. How do you think Murty will set up tomorrow night?

I can't really think how he will play the same shape without Mcrorie, unless he keeps Alves and Wilson back 2 and play Cardoso CDM? I know, doesn't sound great, I'm just speculating but I think Wilson is too slow for the CDM role, Fabio is faster.

Tbh he will probably have to change the shape all together if Mcrorie isn't playing.

3-5-2 is a great shout. hibs are a good team and there strength is midfield. so we should pack it and try and win the middle of the park then the rest should take care of itself. but I'm gutted about our injuries. I suppose it will make it sweeter if we win. but we're in for a battle. Lennon will have them pumped up. that's for sure

if mcrorie can do a job in holding role as a converted cntr half why not barjonas who’s a natural centr mid who’s played that role every game he’s ever played

i hope he starts and plays a blinder as the lad has real promise and as we know hibs are a good team but let’s show everyone we are too

my opinion on pena is he gets into good spaces and sees the space well. just no first touch and very lazy.

if mcrorie is fit i'd play him instead of miller and put candieas further forward.

Murty is a Shankly student - replace like for like. He didn't shy away from playing Bates and he won't shy away from playing Barjonas. It will be the normal formation, except I think he might go for the strength of Herrera as opposed to the . well, nothing really, of Pena.

Good team Jzer. we've been so unlucky with injuries the past 2 seasons. its incredible the amount of long term injuries we've had.

Why would anyone put Pena in the team against Hibs? This will be a battle tonight and the last thing we need is a lazy player who contributes nothing in midfield. Put in Barjonas where you at least will get a player who will be up for the game

Hibs have a good engine in mcginn Bartley mcgeoch etc in that central area! We must look to match that Murty will imo keep the same shape but as my previous post I would like to see us match them hence the 5 across middle and me moving tav into the central 3 his stamina is vital in there to help out holty who has been playing well and has tremendous mobility but obviously lacks strength and presence! Barjo and tav are athletes and are vital for the win tonight

Just watched murty presser. the more I listen to him the more I like him. but that stv sport guy Ramon something ahhhhhh I hate him. he constantly tried get answers about rangers signing policy regarding murty input. murty kept telling him but he just kept digging.

I'm sick to death of the mcinnes stuff but I'm going to give a last post on it
Right the bloody media have dragged mcinnes name through every paper the last 6 weeks at no point did rangers mention his name. so why are the media blaming us for that. when we never said we wanted him until we asked to speak to him. I never used to buy into the anti rangers stuff but now it's bloody obvious. they're not even hiding it anymore. rangers deserves stick for the statement but not stuff we never did.

mclean, walker, moult. all available to add to next seasons squad for free this month. hope the club approaches these players as feel it would be pretty negligent to ignore them. i'm expecting a surge of disagrees but want to ask any fellow bears who consider these guys not good enough to name examples of players of equal or better standard who are available for hee-haw other than sign on and wages! just want to add that for me when we bring these guys in we get rid of rossiter, kranjcar, herrera. dalcio will be gone also. don't know whether miller will play on next season. saves wages brings in better players.

i hadn’t seen the news about moult, think walker is certainly better than dalcio/ nemane/ candeias/ windass and therefor would improve us. take jordan rossiters 10k a week and use it to sign mclean, as long as he kicks a ball once every 2 seasons then it’s an improvement on rossiter, also get kranjcar tae. so they would both improve us imo. in fact saying they wouldn’t improve us means you just haven’t thought before replying.

Lump you say take Rossiter ten grand get rid of Kranjcar and a few more I could think of, well sorry but they are all under contract and will not move or will have to be paid off and we don't have the money . We need a manager but that doesn't seem to be happening if we do get Murty it will be because we can't get anyone else he has said himself he was told the job full time is not on offer. The Mcinnes saga showed there was something in the background he didn't like as the board thought they had their man hence the classless statement so as for signings in Jan I don't think there will be much business done we need to get the share issue done get some money in and start again next season hoping we can get second with this squad

It will cost us probably less money to pay a player off from their contract early rather than paying it every week till they are gone.

Probably be able to reduce the overall cost by coming to an arrangement, but as you are saying it doesn't mean that you can spend all the wage money as most of it will be accounted for in the pay off.

But it certainly makes sense if a player is almost guaranteed not to play again.

Niko probably has a lot of quality and experience that he can pass on to the team, so no doubt he is worth having around but to be fair its probably not great value for money.

It's not really a case of dropping somebody Vanbasten9. At the moment we only have Jack, Dorrans, Holt, Mcrorie, Barjonas. In a situation like now where potentially only Holt and Barjonas will be fit for the Hibs game, it would make sense to have Mclean. I personally think he's a better player than Holt, Mcrorie or Barjonas. Mcrorie and Barjonas could be future stars but they are not right now. And he's available for free. I didn't mention Rossiter because he basically doesn't exist we've seen that little of him and Kranjcar hardly kicked a ball in ages.

Herrara and this invisible dalcio are the worst signings in years. How we didn't get moult is killing me. Mon the Gers for wed. Put holt on mcginn just to nick ball and kick lumps out of stokes, he will see red. It makes me laugh thinking if Ian Ferguson was playing. LEGEND.

Moult is a good player for motherwell
But would he be good for rangers just look at nicky clark was scoring for fun before he came to rangers then strugled.
We are going to strugle to persuade players to come with no manager in place the board need get a new man in place before we sign players.

We as club should be keeping a eye on the austrain slovenia croatio denmark
norway sweden markets for players this is where you can find good buys

Im not fussed abt Moult but at least he was doing it in the spl and against the likes of us, the sheep and the mhanks. Clark only done it in the championship for Queens

moult does well for ‘well. you would think he would do just as good for us if not better. rumour has it that herrera is on big wages so even tho he hasn’t had much chance to show his talent i would like to see him move on, probably in both his and pena’s interests to do so as they will want to go the world cup just like big bruno
