I agree, Tav has been absolutely outstanding for us this season. He is playing RB RM and RW up and down the pitch like a machine crossing in balls like no other player in the league. i'd love so see him sign. Think Wes is also one of our strengths also probably the best keeper in the leauge.

13 Feb 2018 06:39:49
I've always stuck up for tav on these pages all along! ALWAYS rated him and always stated that the modern day right or left wingbacks are all geared to go forward now! JAMES TAVERNIER IS THE BEST RIGHT WINGBACK IN SCOTLAND, BAR NONE!

13 Feb 2018 06:48:30
That's going to be our problem, they are very few and far between good attacking goalscoring and assisting rb, at least if he signs a deal we could end up with a good price on his head, really like the guy a lot

13 Feb 2018 12:41:34
Sorry but Wes isn't imo one of the best keepers in the league and its nothing to do with his mistake against Ayr, there's at 3 keepers better than him just now in the Scottish premiership, Joe Lewis from the sheep, Craig Gordon, Kilmarnock keeper I've forgot his name and maybe even Hearts keeper as well, like i said my opinion but he's definitely not the best unfortunately.

According to Keevins Tav is a championship standard player. He is probably right but if Tav is classed as championship standard where does that put Tierney. I've seen him a handful of times and just Don't get the hype. He's decent, nothing more imo

14 Feb 2018 08:57:26
Like above post I don't see the hype about Tierney, he's decent, I do think some supports Understand football, when a wingback attacks its the job of the winger and centre half to fill the space he's left open to counters, basically cover him so he can attack, Tav likes to attack, he had the likes of kiernan and moh to help him out in previous seasons, this is why Tav was getting pelters, the players around him were shite, now we have better quality players like candias who when doesn't play Tav doesn't have as great a game

14 Feb 2018 20:53:49
Keevins is a Championship class journalist.

12 Feb 2018 18:04:22
Very happy with all graeme murty's signings in january but like a helluva lot of fellow bears now, i'm beginning to think that our loan signing from QPR, might be the pick of them all! Sean goss is a terrific, young midfielder and you can see he's had a tremendous upbringing at manchester utd, to which he drew comparisons to the terrific michael carrick! I honestly hope to god that we can get the chance to sign goss permanently,
although i doubt very much that QPR will allow us to sign him! Young goss has impressed me greatly! He has a wand of a left foot, with an exquisite range of passing!

12 Feb 2018 19:53:42
Think as usual your jumping the gun with your praise of the player. Let’s see how he performs over the next few months before lavishing praise on him.

12 Feb 2018 21:10:50
Honestly i've never witnessed such a negative bunch as some of you guys! NO harm in praising sean goss because i rate him, end of story! Can some of you not for a change put a positive slant on good things rangers instead of always finding the negative side! Some folk are never pleased! So for the record Arthur D, goss deserves the praise being heaped on him by many of us rangers supporters! Only calling it as we see it!

12 Feb 2018 22:52:39
From the first game I watched him play at the Florida cup I knew then he was a talent. The praise for the lad is well merited in my opinion. QPR have said they won't sell but with a bit of luck he might go back down there and say he wants permanent move. 🇬🇧

13 Feb 2018 06:38:57
I think QPR made it quite clear they were not going to sell him and that they only wanted to farm him out to get minutes under his belt. Regardless i agree he has played very well, but i'd prefer to see if young Rossiter is up to scratch prior to buying this lad. I'm also a little gutted for Barjonas who in my opinion was good enough to start for us

13 Feb 2018 07:58:53
Supercooper

If he is as good as you say why couldn’t he get a game for QPR? A team struggling in the bottom half of the championship. It’s not being negative or putting a negative slant on it I am just being realistic. I don’t think you can truly judge a player on a handful of performances. Let’s see how he does against Celtic or in away matches at Aberdeen, Hibs and Hearts to see how good he is.

13 Feb 2018 12:43:53
Imagine a midfield with Goss, Rossiter, Docherty and Dorrans!

13 Feb 2018 13:34:08
DOIGER

Can’t see that midfield playing together as Murty clearly likes a couple of wide players and all of these players are central midfielders.

13 Feb 2018 19:57:44
The thing we have going for us is qpr are not Glasgow Rangers. Player power that's all I'm saying. If he wants to stay he will.

14 Feb 2018 10:55:31
I think MU has first dibs on Goss

12 Feb 2018 15:15:45
If Rangers appoint Walter for next year and give him a proper budget (Say £10m) we can win the league with the upgraded squad.

P. s Kenny Miller as number 2.

12 Feb 2018 15:44:53
Walter Smith part could be in with a shout to win league if given 10m (unlikely though) but would not have Miller as no.2, Smith not likely to come back again but if he did I think he would want Murty as no.2.

12 Feb 2018 15:38:09
Rangers will not appoint Smith.

The guy is 69 years old and a club legend. Why would he risk that? We need to look forwards, not backwards.

12 Feb 2018 15:42:11
really Walter is done yes he was great and will be a legend. give murty £10m and see what he can do.

fans need to stop wanting Sir Walter back. let the guy life out his retirement.

12 Feb 2018 15:42:35
If Walter was interested he would have the job right now. can we stop talking about other managers and support Murty till the end of the season!

12 Feb 2018 16:25:39
lads we have a guy in charge, who played in the top leagues, he was an internationalist, he has had a time to learn his job with his coaching years, ok he is young, but if he does the job this season, give him a chance next year, ok maybe with Walt part time mentor

12 Feb 2018 16:37:24
To the original post, what do you possibly base it on? Life moves on.

12 Feb 2018 14:23:39
I'm getting more and more respect in play of Tavernier and know breadman signed him but difference in play under murty chalk and cheese.

12 Feb 2018 16:06:08
I take it that you still think Windasd is not worth his jersey? 5 goals and an assist in 2 cup games still not meet your standard .

12 Feb 2018 23:42:19
5 goals against Ayr and Fraserburgh. How many he got against Celtic? Aberdeen? Hibs? Hearts? Lots of things said about Windass are unjust and some are more than justified.

13 Feb 2018 08:00:28
He has scored against Aberdeen, Hibs and Hearts away this season

12 Feb 2018 12:18:49
Yeah, agree only Ayr but to score 6 on surface and in weather was a feat. And I agree Goss brilliant and starting to look a player.

12 Feb 2018 11:54:22
Well as I said we would sweep Ayr aside. Didn't think so emphatically nor playing so well. Haven't seen Gers playing in such a unit for while and believe we saw Murty influence there.

12 Feb 2018 10:20:31
goss the boss was brilliant.

12 Feb 2018 09:36:40
Through in Edinburgh yesterday and got talking to a couple of lads who were saying alister Johnson has a Canadian guy who wants to invest in the club but only if king is removed. His name is Thomas McKay.
Don't know if any truth in it as they said they were rugby guys and not into football.

12 Feb 2018 14:52:48
Thomas McKay was Canadian businessman during the 1800's. cannot see that happening haha.

12 Feb 2018 15:29:47
I've heard similar stories. Surely King will be gone shortly after the Takeover Panel fail to uphold his appeal.

If so, fresh investment will be far easier to find.

12 Feb 2018 15:56:22
The takeover panel decision makes no difference to King he has been ordered to offer 20p per share for remaining shares they were sitting at 27p per share and will rise so who would accept 20p from King when they can get 27p on open market I have shared same as many other fans and they are not for sale at any price they will be passed on down through the family it’s not about the money it’s about owning a part of my club

12 Feb 2018 18:45:49
Not a rumour i heard this week's ago . I was told 2 weeks before Barry Scott came on board he was joining as Scott is also involved with possible investor and gives Johnstone more back up. King wants the finance but wants it run his way so they prefer he steps down and Johnstone will step up and the investor will come on board.

12 Feb 2018 18:52:07
what has take over panel got to do with king selling shares. if someone buys king shares the money goes to him not the club. if anyone was to invest it would need to be buying something tangeable like naming rights to the stadium as an example otherwise the need release new shares for someone to buy
