Ally has now posted a warning on the gers site that we need to be wary of Airdrie, yes Airdrie, and at Ibrox too, it just gets sadder and sadder,
and so does he, shameful

Am sorry but do you expect him to say. 'Dont worry its only Airdrie. It will be an easy win as we are at home so they have no chance' Its a thing called PR.

Great news re Media house, and even without the usual payout, how many days to go Graham?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

How do we know there was no payment? Because the board say so?

Agree0 Disagree0

Anybody know if they still represent the Easdale brothers?

Did nay one on here receive an e-mail from the Rangers Supporters Trust, sent to 4500 individuals, re Together We Are Rangers.

I want to participate in buying shares either through Direct Debit or one off payments.

I now live in Australia but in no way am I any less of a fan for it. I'm unsure if I am able to do so due to living outside the UK. Any Bears out there who can help/advise me as to what best to do to help would be most appreciated.

My next step will be to contact the RST of which I am a member, but i'm sure the last reply I received said I couldn't do so at the time due to living overseas.

Hello again Kelpie,
Aye, it's still the same as last time. You have to have a UK bank account to set up the direct debit. Unsure about a regular credit card payment through, that might be ok. Other than that maybe a family member who you can set up a regular bank transfer to and they can set up a d/d to the RST.

Good luck

Thanks Bay, much as thought this was the case. Men/Lassie I hope we can pull together and get a good hold of our club which means so much to many people. let's try and get this monkey off ours and the clubs backs.

These action which led to this now ongoing saga of smoke and mirrors would never happen if we the fans were in charge any time, surely.

Seems i'm going to call in a favour to purchase shares through someone on behalf of myself (and my Aussie family who have made the trip to the Brox from Oz before) to help us own a viable % in fan/supporter ownership.

You will not get a hold of anything UNLESS the people who are in charge are willing to sell. This seems to be escaping too many people. The owners and majority shareholders of Rangers are Hedge funds, investment bankers and pension funds who are looking for a very healthy return on their money. Now, do they care if you are unhappy, not a jot, do they care if Celtic win the league, not a jot, do they care if the players are not of the standard you would expect, not a jot BUT they do care about the club making money and that will eventually happen when you eventually get to the SPL. That will mean bigger sponsorship, more expensive season tickets, and better prize money even for finishing mid table. The club is not looking to expand, bring in better players etc, they are looking to CUT costs, increase revenue and pay out bigger dividends to the people who bailed them out at the beginning. Dave King had his chance, Jim McColl had his chance, in fact all of the termites had their chance and NONE of them stepped forward, my god even that bastion of Rangers men Paul Murray wanted a seat on the board for zero investment. The people who call the shots won't dilute their shareholding to allow Dave King and his minnions to have a say in the running of the club that is already evident with the way they are behaving towards each other. They also will not dilute their shareholding to potentially allow outside sources to decide if the profit should be kept in the club for players or paid to shareholders because football men buy players, but bankers pay dividends. You can withhold your season ticket money BUT then there is an insolvency and that means another relegation a, no players and the majority shareholders dictating how the administration is managed and they are only interested in the money. This is hearsay this is all fact and the sooner the fans heads come out of Dave King's erchie and they start listening to the people who are running the club then you may have a chance.

Allymac, all I was suggesting was that is if we have money put into a holding, of sorts, (i didn't mention any ring fence to do with funds of any type), then we would have funds to purchase shares for us the fans if and when the situation arises and becomes available. Rangers for The Fans, The Fans For Rangers. Our life of sorts is it not.

Fellow Bears - according to Ally M - via the Daily Record - we 'need to get real' and 'his team shouldn't be judged on the club's former glories'.
He is quite correct - most of us have never played football at the level he DID and have never managed a football club at the level he CAN'T. who needs to get real?
I also can't believe few - if any - fans judge the present squad against former teams. we judge the current team by the sheer level of dross that they - and the manager and coaches - put out on a weekly basis.
Put some spin on that Ally.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

More shocking comments from ally, we ain't looking for gazza or laudrup, we are looking for players who will try, and I'm afraid I seen to many players going through the motions on Sunday.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said, as fans all we have to look forward to each week is when we get to watch our beloved team, but ffs 1 - 2 bad games you can live with but week in week out we see no progress in team play, no progress in tactics, I understand teams lift their game, but what were seeing with the players ally brought in as free transfers, they were very good prospects but ally has managed to make them third rate, answer honestly do you believe this team could win championship next year as it is and with ally in charge?

Agree0 Disagree0

@ sweep 1 think you will find he said the team does not contain a gascoigne a laudrup a greig etc. we are were we are folks and it will take a wee while yet b4 we reach the top, put it this way it was only the other day the rovers chairman said he would be talking to his manager about his playing budget we aren't even able to do that yet that's were we are

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 I can't believe you are making a comparison with us and Albion rivers, we have a wage bill of 7.5 millon annual, another blinked person

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he's missing the point from a lot of fans. I don't expect a Gascoigne or Stein but I had hoped for a better youth policy and chances given to them. McCoist was playing 1st team top division football at 16. Derek Johnstone too. In those days of pressure, the St Johnstone manager and Willie Waddell were prepared to take risks and set these two great Rangers on their way to stardom.

Durie rates his squad. We've seen a form collapse since McCleod has been out for weeks - some say he has a knee injury, the press keep saying it's a virus - but the point is if we have senior players out of form, fatigued, whatever, give the youth a chance in their place and, if we lose, plenty will give McCoist credit for having the courage that Willie Waddell had.

We're joint top of the under 20 league, there's got to be some talent there who would bite their arm off to play at Ibrox. We're missing a great chance at developing the team from youth up.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is the first time I agree with him as manager, we shouldn't judge the team on past glories, as we shouldn't allow McCoists past to cloud our judgement! He is a pot noodle awful manager who is as much a part of Rangers problems as CW CG etc and yet again he shifts the blame onto his players. great man management!

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't nor would I ever attempt to compare current squad to the good teams we have had but come on ally this squad of full time players mostly made up of ex premier league players should horse anybody we meet from the lower leagues of part time players we should never struggle no matter how much these tradesmen or labourers raise there game against us

Agree0 Disagree0

Does not matter what wages are, just because someone says your worth this or that does not mean your a star. as for comparing us to rovers as I said they can talk about managers playing budget. we can't so yes because that's were we are at the moment
