First time posting but I've been reading this page for a few years now.
I enjoy coming on and reading what people have heard through the rumour mill, and that's what it all is rumour.
But more and more people are just ridiculed for the comments they make or rumours they post.
I even remember a guy getting slaughtered or saying Bruno Alves was signing, low and behold it happens.
The so called experts who ridicule everyone else never seem to know much better info.
Be nice if people could post what they hear and not get ridiculed in the process, just a thought.

You see mate a rumour is something that is believed to be happening and is growing around a group of people not making something up, or reading about a manager or player leaving another club and simply saying he got told by a " source who he can't name"? Isn't it warbs25, or supercoop as your calling yourself nowadays. Now that is a man / boy, who can blow your mind, writes like he is preaching to his public, mad as a hatter

Get a grip talk rubbish get rubbish back nothing wrong with it

12 Nov 2017 18:26:01
Well said gary75 👏👏get a grip we’re all here to support the gers and have a bit of banter along the way - this page is tame compared to some of the slagging you’ll get in most work places!

12 Nov 2017 23:37:07
Well said! Personally don't post any runours myself only my opinions on things but I agree too many people slating folk for posting rumours, it is the name of the page after all. Some are clearly nonsense but hey ho that's how it goes

13 Nov 2017 13:19:13
This site has always been like that. it's a banter page after all but I understand what the guy means as some people don't like that. but some posts deserve to get ridiculed

12 Nov 2017 13:12:03
As us managed by Murty would already have shown that we were a better team with a better manager than Aberdeen it would then be like settling for lower quality if we did go for McInnes in the summer. Not saying it will happen just saying what if to see what people's opinions are and if something like that did happen would people still want a new manager in the summer or would they be happy for Murty to keep it full time on say a season long contract?

12 Nov 2017 23:39:52
Almost certain there will be a new manager in place long before the summer mate lol

The clue is in the name of the forum mate. ‘Rangers Banter’. nothing ever malicious said. as soon as someone enters their post they sit back waiting to get ripped. All in good spirit. It’s a game of opinions after all.

Even Celtic fans post and are treated with respect.

FairPlay to the guys controlling the page. I mean, everyday reading our drizzle (hopes/ fears) . great job!

Here's one what if the board decide not to rush things and leave Murty as caretaker until the end of the season and we end up finishing second and a good few points in front of the sheep mabey just mabey with a win or at least taking a few points off Celtic in the couple of old firms before the end of the season will people still then be wanting McInnes when the proof is right in front of us that there's better guys

12 Nov 2017 17:20:15
And if a big if it doesn't turn out like that then what another season down the drain give me peace we can't appoint a rookie

12 Nov 2017 18:22:42
Is that the truth that you just hypothasised?

12 Nov 2017 18:57:38
Been reading the same post for a. Fortnight, , now N/ Ireland are out unluckily, maybe he will be spoken too

Graeme Murty will be given the job to the end of the season. This will allow the board time to look at all the options available and judge murtys performance before making a final appointment before next season. This is the obvious and cheaper option. Anyone expecting a big name will be disappointed. Time to back murty, get him some help and hope he does well.

12 Nov 2017 11:27:28
It's possible but I don't think it will happen

12 Nov 2017 12:40:54
Aloada 💩

On an unrelated note from all the managerial stuff - anyone see taverniers brother play last few games for middlesborough and score last week on his home debut? Plays on the left has looked good only from very few games I've seen so far but one to watch also there's always the lure of playing for same club as your brother.

12 Nov 2017 10:00:14
I was thinking the same last week when reading about his performances. I think we should get his big brother to have a few words in his ear

12 Nov 2017 11:28:37
Rangers probably couldn't afford him mate

Why spout that rubbish (as it is rubbish) on our site?

12 Nov 2017 02:12:46
We already have what is looking like a good backbone structure to the squad with Graeme Murty and Jonaton Johansson We are in no hurry to look for a Manager but if we are immenent to look for one then get Derek McInnes in! He is the man and bleeds blue I said it before and will stick by it, he should've been in b4 Pedro If we are going for the next best thing then bring in Gio Van Bronckhurst!

12 Nov 2017 22:56:19
We have to get the right manager in, irrespective if he bleeds blue or not! Of course ideally both bleeding blue and being the best candidate is the best result for us all! But imo derek mcinnes ISN'T the best candidate out there! There's better manager's that we have to go and get that can firstly consolidate us as the 2nd best team in the country and then be able to tackle brendan rodgers for the no.1 spot! Delboy mcinnes imo won't be able to lay a glove on rodgers, unfortunately! If we're looking at mcinnes, then we should be considering murty, nothing between them when you examine everything, both manager's can bring to glasgow rangers!

11 Nov 2017 22:33:12
Just checked SuperCoop’s poll there, 237 votes 51%murty 49%McInnes, blows Andy1872’s “vast majority” out the water

12 Nov 2017 16:43:07
You are basing that on 237 votes. i'm quietly confident that we have quite a few more supporters than that. If it was one million votes then we could start to pay attention. .

12 Nov 2017 23:23:59
Wee_Bear, that's why i asked for the poll between murty and mcinnes mate. I knew there wouldn't be much in it! All i've been saying all along is, that if we can't get a much better quality manager than mcinnes, then as far as i'm concerned, murty will do every bit as good a job, as mcinnes would do! In fact imho i believe murty would be a better choice than mcinnes! Like i've said on here before, he ticks a lot more boxes than mcinnes for me!
