Please could everyone attending games stop with the negative shouts!! We are being treated to the best brand we've seen at Ibrox in years yet i'm still hearing "fans" giving the players stick..

"Stop with the f*****g short corners"

"Have a bloody shot" (from about 40 yards)

"Cross the bloody ball for f*** sake"

Cmon now lads get a grip and enjoy it for crying out loud. In Warburton we trust.

WATP

12 Sep 2015 19:52:40
That's what fans do though it's part of the game. The Barcelona fans criticise their team and there not too shabby. No matter how good the team there will be criticism and tbh it's really naive of you to tell people to stop

12 Sep 2015 22:52:34
I shout from the club deck - do not think any player can here me. Anyway what I was shouting today was the tackles from the Livingston players - absolutely shocking so they were. Livingston turned uo not wanting to play football.

However, 3-0 as a poor result will do for me!!

6 out of 6 and yet some posts remain on the negative side.

Get over Ally ffs

12 Sep 2015 22:55:13
I just love The Famous Glasgow Rangers - I do not want to criticise anything about them!!

That is what ceptic do!!

12 Sep 2015 18:27:31
The magic hat not happy with the performance today a 3.0 win once again a clean sheet shows you his standards . Last season that would of been a major victory what a difference a year makes

12 Sep 2015 17:48:35
I attended the games when J Grieg was the manager and the football dire and the fans hounded him out of Ibrox. He was a legend and is now still legend.

McCoist was and still is a legend as a player but did not cut it a manager (under extreme conditions) Who would have took the job when we were demoted. I don't recall anyone putting themselves forward for the position.

We have made our peace with JG so why not Ally.

Lets concentrate on the performance of team now rather than he past.
Ally the player should always be welcomed to Ibrox, unfortunately his legend status is tainted by his managerial performance under severe restrictions

12 Sep 2015 19:11:46
Well said

12 Sep 2015 19:24:29
we never needed to make any peace with john greig he was the greatest ranger ever played all his days at ibrox with no complaints giving 100%all the time he did not fare as well as manager buthe still gave the same 100% and knew when it was time to go rember in his time as manager he had an army of coaches fitness gurus no traing facilities to speak of and no fancy transfer budget there was never any need to make peace he always did what was best for rangers first and j greig next not like macoist

12 Sep 2015 19:38:43
Sorry but the football played under Grieg was far superior to that played under Ally. Grieg managed to win some cups and was only 10 mins away from winning the league. Grieg didn't support every con man that ran the club and never made ridiculous claims about not knowing what he was on. Ally is no legend and I find it very convenient that he terminates his contract when a TV job becomes available

12 Sep 2015 20:19:10
Greig did not cut it as Rangers Manager. Neither did McCoist. Greig inherited a good but aging team. McCoist presided over the worst period in Rangers' history. Different circumstances but same result - both left under a cloud.

Both were brilliant as players in their own era and positions.

Both deserve to be treated with huge respect although it may take some time for McCoist to get fans back on his side. When we hear his side of the story - things will change.

12 Sep 2015 19:24:25
Ibrox4ever, here here mate, and very easily and simply put, here here congrats mate.

12 Sep 2015 21:41:00
bruisedbear

Di you really think hearing his side of the story will make a difference? He had a budget of £6m against part time teams and managed to play some of the worst football the club has ever seen. How can he or you try and explain that? He brought in ageing players with no sell on value and didn't improve any of them. He lied to the fans about not knowing what he was earning and his record in the cups was disgraceful. I don't know quite what u expect him to say but it won't change anything. He was a terrible manager who put himself before the club and nothing he or you can say will change that

12 Sep 2015 22:13:48
Ibroxforever

Can you please explain the severe restrictions? Can you also name a team we competed against in the leagues that had a higher wage bill than Ally had?

12 Sep 2015 22:56:27
Well said biffo316 and bigwull it makes me laugh when people say just wait to ally tells his side of story what difference will that make. That won't change my opinion are the opionion of thousands of bears on Mccoist.

12 Sep 2015 23:18:42
Biffo

Yes I do.

I agree his management was poor and accept the football was dire - but I don't accept that he put himself before the club.

I'm not prepared to write off what he did throughout his career for Rangers just because of his managerial period.

Too many snap judgements being made about him for me.

12 Sep 2015 22:57:11
John Greig didn't sit in his garden knowing rangrrs didn't have money but still taking a huge pay knowing he was loaded already knowing it wasn't the same freeloaders running the club knowing the new guys were trying to turn the club around knowing the wage he took was more than enough for the dross he served up to the fans and then didn't get compensated to run off to another job huge difference between mccoist and JG

13 Sep 2015 12:56:02
I saw two of Rangers 5 best ever performances in Europe under John Grieg (unless I have totally lost it).
Juventus and PSV; I prefer to remember that about it.

13 Sep 2015 15:51:03
I wonder how many of above poster would knock back an 8 hundred grand a year, on being told you were being suspended from your job would you have said ok just rip up my contract.

13 Sep 2015 20:05:53
DEEB

I was at that Juventus game and that was one of the best nights I have ever experienced at Ibrox. We beat a team packed with Italian internationalists. The poster coming on criticising Greig's style of play clearly doesn't know what he is talking about. Greig a far superior manager to Ally and had it not been for Mcdowalls short stint as manager then Ally would be regarded as the worst manager in the history of the club. Even now I still can't believe how someone who played for so long could be so inept as manager

13 Sep 2015 23:43:42
billy blue nose if I was a millionaire already and it was damaging the club I loved then aye I would knock it back once the new owners came in I would have said now ill stand aside and let you rebuild my club

12 Sep 2015 17:45:12
Being reported on the radio, players within the Rangers dressing room having a heated debate due to the drop in standards today.

Considering the start to the season we've had that is a very good sign and augurs well for the future beyond this league.

12 Sep 2015 20:22:04
Gazza1212 a wee dispute in the dressing room every so often is a welcome sign imo

13 Sep 2015 00:41:40
Billy bluenose my feelings exactly, especially on the back of a 3-0 win

12 Sep 2015 17:11:45
Seriously, our players need protection - some of those tackles by the Livingston players were really poor / bad / ugly etc etc.

If Livingston had lost two or three players they could not have complained.

Another great win considering the way Livingston played - 6 out of 6

We are now in a club of three:

The Famous Glasgow Rangers;

Manchester City;

Aberdeen.

12 Sep 2015 18:19:00
Not so much a lover of aberdean but 2 out of three ain't bad. Lol

13 Sep 2015 01:55:53
8 wins V part timers tho considering Man City & Aberdeen play against Professional Clubs every game

13 Sep 2015 11:27:48
steffantos i agree what your saying about man city but not aberdeen best team they will play against is celtic and they are a poor side.sorry aberdeen have already convirmed that ha

13 Sep 2015 14:35:34
The players are big boys they should be able to protect themselves.

13 Sep 2015 17:20:12
Steffantos,

Do you count celtic as a "professional" club ?

Aberdeen certainly played against them lolol

You will be facing the first genuine quality team in Scotland next season who will take Aberdeen's title off them and give you such a footballing lesson I imagine then you might get rid of Delilah and 90% of your squad

55 titles coming very soon Trebles ? We will show you how to do that under Warburton

KT

13 Sep 2015 17:14:48
RHW1962 (is that your number plate lol).." But not "Aberdeen"? Why not?? As they are a Professional Club with an unbeaten run so far. When RFC start winning 8 or 9 games V Professional Teams, then & only then You will be treated as worthy contenders to stop 10 in a row!

13 Sep 2015 21:36:06
Steff I can't see Aberdeen winning ten league titles in a row, but hey you never know eh, lol.

12 Sep 2015 14:45:24
Aberdeen 2 -1 celtic. Lol
just the start of a great afternoon. Just got a pint and waiting for the mighty gers to hammer Livingston.

12 Sep 2015 17:00:55
Not as polished a performance today but another good result. Well done lads keep it up

12 Sep 2015 14:23:44
ronnie must stay at least till we get back up to gub them

12 Sep 2015 20:27:02
Bigwull after they get a few goings over in the wee euro league, ronnie and half that team will be disbanded IMHO. Lennon saw the downsizing first hand and got out, as he seen what lots of there support can't see, massive downsizing since we got demoted, look at the player they've sold for funny money, yet still loss 4 million before this season has really got underway.

12 Sep 2015 23:27:03
The 13 million for VVD isn't included in the figures

13 Sep 2015 13:34:00
Steff wrong again, yer man said if they had sold vid before yours did youse wouldn't be showing a loss of 4 mill, so bvvd transfer fee is included in his figures, or lie well would be deducting the 4 mill loss, and showing a profit, simple as that Steff.

13 Sep 2015 13:56:25
Steff if it wasn't for the commonwealth games your losses would be standing at 8 yes 8 million, I wonder why Mr Lowell never declared that, the money youse have took in on players youse should be strengthening but youse can't, cause youse are living of bank loans, when are youse going to except that.

13 Sep 2015 17:16:54
I hope RFC get CfC in a Cup as Mabe this time RFC can muster a Shot at Goal.

13 Sep 2015 15:31:07
Steffentos, the 4 million you earned from the commonwealth games should surely have wiped out that 4 million black hole. in other words it would be an 8 million deficit if it wasn't for the comm games.

12 Sep 2015 16:41:14
Is Scott Allan injured/suspended or is it just that he's not good enough for Celtic.didnt even make squad for game against Aberdeen 2day!!!

12 Sep 2015 16:59:18
Who cares mate.

12 Sep 2015 17:41:00
Never heard of him and probably never will!!

12 Sep 2015 19:26:21
who does he play for

12 Sep 2015 19:38:59
Who's this?

12 Sep 2015 22:59:11
Who cares about Scott allan

12 Sep 2015 16:37:57
Rangers players need protection Livingston are kicking their way through this game, so they are!!

Come on ref - send off three players!!

12 Sep 2015 19:38:59
Aye ready, I wasn't at the game today, never even seen it, but this league we are now playing in has always been quite brutal, though I think it could be sorted out if a few of our own player, (after seeing rough tackles) dished out a few fair but crunching tackles just to let the brutes see we can also dish it out, if that's how the opposition want to play then let's got on with it, my opinion only.

12 Sep 2015 14:37:54
Big Effin Ambrose should be installed in The Rangers Hall of Fame - lol

12 Sep 2015 14:03:09
Is there a more biased commentator than Andy Walker? His commentary is shocking and so pro ceptic!

12 Sep 2015 16:54:28
It is not ceptics fault they got beat!

They will blame the ref oh and that great player of theirs Effin Ambrose!!

12 Sep 2015 18:53:12
Scotty123 have you ever listened to Sutton behind the microphone? He makes wee Andy sound total impartial lol

12 Sep 2015 10:23:51
as much as i am delighted by the way things are going with the board and the management team things are going well but it seems every time d. king comes out making statments he poses more questions than he answers. as far as bringing the old company out of liquidation why the cost would be horrendous.

trying to get agreement with all the creditors would be worse. the club has enough of a battle to move upwards never mind going back, to go forward to be honest. he would be better saying nothing rather than a sweeping statement like that, which has supporters looking for hidden agendas and whether whyte has any claim to the money realised by b d o. it baffles me

12 Sep 2015 12:46:42
I agree bigwull I posted on Friday I wished dk would stop giving interviews and statements and let the CEO run the club. Every time he makes a statement he contradicts what he said the last time

12 Sep 2015 16:23:46
Good post Bigwull, I think you will find that everything DK says is deflection from his previous boasts.
He has done one great thing for us and that is to bring a management team that looks the part, and is giving us the results we seek. Long may that continue.
Deflection tactics were also used by green, when our last manager was appointed. Who will ever forget " we don't do walking away." My interpretation of his tactics were that he appointed a very poor manager, who would galvanise the support into parting with their hard earned cash. All the while he and his gang were ripping the arse out of us.
Our biggest fault was our loyalty and that was used against us.
Billybluenose, in reply to a previous post I had a couple of pints and decided to leave my season ticket in the drawer.
I really hope that under Mark Warburton we achieve great things and through time become the Glasgow Rangers that I grew up supporting.

12 Sep 2015 12:26:21
i see jim spence has been shouting his mouth off again on twitter he really should learn to keep his gob shut. making a pot of liquidised soup and saying if he didn't like it he could always de-liquidise it absolute prat that guy. anyway onwards and upwards for us. forget everyone else.

12 Sep 2015 18:55:47
I thought he was spot on. DK was talking nonsense.

12 Sep 2015 20:00:29
He wasn't, the company hasn't been liquidated yet so his comparison isn't relevant. It's really simple until the creditors are paid out the company isn't liquidated

12 Sep 2015 09:32:58
I think we should be looking at Ali crawford from hamilton in January, he is being touted as the next one to get a big move down south. Grab him just now play him for next year or two then sell him on at great profit, only need to look at Mcarthy that went down south now getting quoted £15miion plus if he was to move from everton

12 Sep 2015 08:51:48
Ive done us today 8-0 @80/1 9-0@125/1 and 10-@200/1 just for a wee interest

12 Sep 2015 09:26:56
I put a fiver on us to win 10-0 at 500/1 via William Hill. You never know, though I'll be happy with 5-0! LOL

12 Sep 2015 10:15:26
10-0 425/1

I am also putting on

Wolves to beat Bolton (away)

Swindon to beat Barnsley (away)

Luton to beat Notts Co (away)

Storm the Stars 3.45 Donc

Sherlock Holmes 4.40 Leops

Golden Horn 5.45 Leops

Perm any five from 6

6 bets @ 1.00 = £6.00

£1.00 Accum

At current odds return of £4768.88

12 Sep 2015 11:00:25
Doiger when did you put the bet on, I thought PP were offering the best bet at 425/1?

Like you I only want them to win well and injury free.

12 Sep 2015 09:18:34
Your lucky mate, WH would only give me 100-1 on 10-0. Lol. I think the bears have heavily backed the gers for a huge win. Live are in for a gubbing in Govan. Lol.

12 Sep 2015 15:04:28
In my years of experience huge wins only ever happen randomly out of the blue never when expected as the opposition will come into the game trying to avoid a humping rather than plating open football. Backs to the wall.

If you look at any games where teams are 3 or 4 up by half time it mostly finishes that way at most one more goal the big scores usually stem from 2-0 half time as coach sends team out still looking for a result rather than avoiding a destruction.

Expecting today to be 3-0 maybe 4 not 10 as some think

haha 2-1 Sheep v celtic I did tell Timalloy to put that on though I am sure he didnt

11 Sep 2015 21:26:32
Can someone explain what King is on about with Old Co stuff. I don't get this 1 bit!

12 Sep 2015 08:59:32
Dave King is suggesting pulled the old co out of liquidation, paying their creditors (namely HMRC) and continuing on accordingly, any contracts within the new co would be null and void and therefore we would be Ashley free. as my little meerkat would say, "Simples".

12 sep 2015 11:27:52
jack, he is firing shots in a pr war i think.
we need to do nothing but if we do as he suggests the creditors will get some of their losses back. we are trying to be decent and are no longer run by spivs and crooks.
it would also give us a bit of cred with future investors, sponsors and lenders.

11 Sep 2015 22:11:18
Our under 16s just pumped Partick Thistle 12-0 yes 12!! Futures looking good

12 Sep 2015 07:57:31
Honestly how many of the boys will actually make the break through to playing elite senior football, if your lucky maybe one or two. Don't put pressure on these kids, it doesn't work, just look at how many of our under 29s have made the jump, and we ran away with that league for years.

12 Sep 2015 12:21:03
I think a few more will break through in the near future than in previous years, we seem to have the right management team who look to invest in youth rather than older last contract type players with no resell

12 Sep 2015 12:55:37
Sorry meant under 19s.
