Wnen I said yesterday there were 3 imminent signings all the doubting Thomas's jumped on the thread.

I will say again patience, another 2 loans and possibly another forward being looked at, so calm down boys.

Former Hearts playmaker Jason Holt started training with the Gers on Monday as he bids to win a deal with the Light Blues.

Rangers are suppose to be in talks with Wigan about the posibility of signing Martyn Waghorn, not seen a lot of him only in a couple of matches and he looks decent, also Rangers are needing strikers

Holt training with Rangers today, probably will sign this week/next week. Eustace, proving his fitness, likely to sign. Wabara looking more unlikely, with the two Spurs boys coming. Not sure about Whether we're signing a striker, think MW is going to see if Clark can prove himself; MW got a good record of improving lower league talent E.g Gray (ST), Pritchard (LM). Hardie has been promoted to 1st team, so possibly explaining why no striker. Halliday will sign this week I believe aswell.

People need to chill about signings, got a few weeks until season kicks off, no need to rush signings for the sake of it. Look what got us in a mess last time, splashing cash. What's the point in having a big squad with players on big wages IF we don't get promoted this year. MW doing it the right way, build through the youth system/buy youth, then slowly build the first team. Believe and everyone calm down.

Two facts to consider. Our squad isn't good enough and we don't rightly have the patience to wait weeks, months or years to come good. I do agree with your comments about youth.

I read that Rangers' approach for Allan has been rebuffed and we now need to put that one to bed. So moving on from that I reckon Tom Walsh should be handed the chance to stake his claim to the position. He's going to be one of our best Murray Park recruits in years. We need a goal scorer, from where, I haven't a clue.

It's all very well people saying calm down etc, we only have 2 weeks until the 1st competitive game, I wouldn't want just to sign anyone for the sake of it but we should've had our squad assembled by now, that way they can get to know each other & how each other plays etc, it looks like we'll be signing players just days away from our 1st game, we won't be properly prepared, I really don't care about the pretrofac cup & infact I would play our young boys. I would also say, the standard of player we're looking at doesn't excite me, at the moment it's going to be another long boring season.

I think Callum Gallacher can bring goals.

Agree3 Disagree3

13 Jul 2015 19:36:38
I would agree think Gallagher can do a job and get goals however we are still short of quality up front as Miller and Clarke won't score enough goals

We really need to calm down I for one have total faith in Mr warburton. Would love to see stevie May at the club would score a Barra load. But think we need DM, AM, ST. also think we will see the real David templeton under the new management team.

Believable5 Unbelievable8

13 Jul 2015 19:38:23
Templeton is lucky he has a year left on his contract otherwise he would have been shown the door too. Hopefully Warburton can get the best out of him and I think he could do a job just behind a striker

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jul 2015 21:08:29
What has given you think faith in Warburton? He Inherited a good Team then it went downhill under him!!Pre- season shambles of 3 20 min kick about!Hibs are way ahead in preparations for this season & play them just shorty. DK has been in control since March& a LOAN is his only input. The failure of reaching the SPL put a spanner in the works Financially.A plan B should have been put together straight away, not taking on any freebie going that haven't played 1st team football in ages.

Getting really fed up with all the comment's regarding transfers or lack of. We don't want to rush into making bad aquisitions as the past management teams have.As much as we would like to see big money transfers coming into ibrox unfortunately these days at the moment anyway are over. Patience is needed we need to let w&w get on with it and I am confident they are the right men to do so.

They are living in a Football Manager where you can sign a player every 15mins. They are asking for 2 new CMs? Jason holt move delayed due to compnsation and we are testing fitness of Eustace. So why they still whining?

BIGWULL, With all your faith your beginning to sound like a gospel preacher. I note in one of your earlier posts you credit DK with an investment of £8.5 million already. Please explain?

billy put your specs on I take it u can read I said king and the three bears put ££8.5m in not king this is over and above season books and any other revenue streams is that plain enough for u the information came from the highest level at ibrox its 100% ten carrot gold information as I have said in the past king was not a favourite of mine but now he is there and things appear to be moving ok he must be given support whether u like it or not

C'mon W&W, We need a 2x CM's (holding player and a play maker), a winger and a striker who can hold the ball up and link the play. The hibs game isn't far away and we need to put down a marker early on.

13 Jul 2015 14:10:37
We r getting there. Currently Holt is at best a reasonable squad addition but could develop well under WW. Also mentioned was us giving up on Allen which is fair enough- why pay silly money now when we can get him for free (next summer I believe). I'd still like a quality centre mid ( not a veteran) asap - also of course a proven striker- hope WW are on the case.

Is nobody else getting a bit concerned about the lack of transfer activity.
Yes we've got a decent management team in who seem to be going about things the right way.
But signing defenders and a goal keeper will not get us promoted.
Going with the same midfield and front line from last year will be a disaster.
Who's going to create the chances & who's going to stick them away?
Getting worried!!

To be honest am not too worried about bringing in a striker, with Miller Clark Gallagher Hardie and Templeton who I would like to see givin a chance up front. With his fast feet he would commit players and he's good at 1 on 1s?
